The best part about going to this gym is seeing how motivated Alan is, i always see him going around being productive cleaning stations, while the girls just sit down at the front desk on their phones, very good gym everyones nice.

As a big guy trying to lose weight, i honestly do feel right at home in Planet Fitness. Everything is super clean, they handled COVID very well and I never feel judged. You guys are amazing.

Full most of the time no matter whst time you go but ghe equipment and cleanliness of the place is pretty good. The showers and lockers are nice to have. They also have plenty of machine for everyone. You wont really have to wait for someone to give up the machine you want as people usually do not last too long in just one machine

Nice gym and staff but the cleaning has gone down since reopen? I know there is a increase of members but need to clean more often like before. Staff use to clean throughout the day other than filling sanitation bottles. Also attention to equipment maintenance is needed.

These two employees are great their names are Jasmine and Marco Montellanowent out of their way to help me and was very knowledgeable when it came to policies and anything else customer would want to know how about this gym other policies etc.The employee Alan did not explain company procedures and policies as far as consolation and his communication was not clear at the initial sign up.What was even worse was The general manager Jacob Zambrano only could apologize for the the employees miscommunication of misinformation,But him himself give me an accurate information and I had to find it from another employee.I do plan on calling corporate office as I expected more from Planet Fitness and their employees.

I liked visiting this gym for the long weekend ( Memorial Day ) while being a truck driver from Canada.Great parking, excellent greeting, plenty of machines and workout equipment, the fellow members are good with wiping down equipment and it’s a pretty decent place to come too.There are very few minor things I did notice about my visit this weekend was that the locker room and restroom areas were lacking in cleaning compared to the rest of the gym area.Sinks in restroom were fairly dirty for most of my visit including the toilets and men’s urinal, toilet paper in the stalls were empty 3 hours after opening, ( Sunday ), One roll with just enough to do the clean up.Showers were lacking water pressure and heat. I understand that this location is in the middle of the desert which is understandable for locals but the pressure could be better for rinsing, also cleaning of the men’s showers were lacking really bad due to the fact there were used soap bars and etc in the same shower/showers for the whole weekend which tells me the locker areas are slacking in cleaning.Overall this location is a pretty decent gym to go workout and visit.

Everithing Its OK I am just not coming back until mask use is optional, we have always been a clean community spraying every piece of equipment since way before this fear and I believe is not fair to be spitting on the mask while running on the threadmill

Its one of the best Ive been to, and I mean Ive been to most of the San Diego facilities, one in Coachella and the one in Calexico is disappointing, they dont have the TRUE stretcher, the big clock on the wall is missing...they dont even have thrash cans in the locker room or the rest rooms... Im a black card member but I cant charge a drink to my account in Calexico, its disappointing.

They open a few weeks ago about a year been close and I wouldnt be surprise if they get close again, the mask mandate is not enforce, I see several people with no mask some with mask under the chin or just covering mouth only, and no one says anything is just a breakout waiting to happen

The equipment at this place is outstanding and in great quantity. This is a fit place to enjoy working out. However, I feel that there isnt much privacy since everyone can see you working out, which isnt as bad as it sounds because everyone else is minding there own business and no one judges you. Its an ideal place to pretty much do any work out. I highly suggest coming here.

This is a good place to workout but over the years it has become really packed. I had to switch gyms because there were so many people that i could barely workout or use any equipment. The prices are good and the amenities they have are decent. They are also not to strict which I liked. Overall it’s a goood gym

Awesome environment thats friendly and welcoming. Super clean and all equipment is new and working so thats a plus as well.

PF is a good way to transition into a gym. No intimidation, lots of cardio machines. On the flip side though, if you want to keep progressing, might have to switch another gym with a better variety of weights

Everythings great. Showers are almost always 100% cold.. Rarely does heat work..

This place has given me back my energy. At 63 I thought I was ready for the pasture, now I do my work out get home and find myself actually getting things done. Feel so much better and alive. Cant thank you enough for being open 24/7. Mark has been a tremendous help and very informative, this guy knows his gym. High five to Mark.

Clean place, good costumer service, necessary equipment for workout, theres a machine for water.The only bad thing is theres a lot of homeless and on the fifth week I started going someone stole my bike

Hey guys you finally got a working cold water fountain thanks.OLD:How many times do I have to ask to have cool clean water in the water fountains? Not the warm spit that comes out; rediculous three times so far!EDIT: Ive spoken to different assistan managers at different times and nothing has been done. Squeaky wheel gets the grease; fix the water fountains for Gods sake ITS A GYM!!! Ill fix the review.

Quite ridiculous that they started accepting memberships since December and told everyone that Gym will open last week of Jan. or 1st week of Feb. and then when Feb. came they said 2 more weeks top!! And now we are going into March 1st and there still is no word when they will open and I have been told by the personnel that there are over 1000 people with memberships, plus people can take a plus 1, so how the heck do they expect to fit that many people into that small building without it being a safety hazard?!?! Itll help if they are 24/7 which they better be or else they are going to lose a lot of memberships without cancellation fees or there will be lawsuits in hand!!! They are not putting in the effort and money to make sure its open the date they said it would be, so we dont have to follow the contract, because most of us signed up in agreement to it opening in Jan. !!!!

The only reasons why I keep coming to this gym is because the price is very reasonable, plus, is a 24 hour gym. I am very disappointed in the sense that some employees (females) are very unprofessional, especially a tall girl who works in the evenings-nights. It seems like she hates her job, and she does not even try to get along with customers. I tried calling customer service via telephone in regards of some inquires that I previously had, and I was not able to reach help. I left some voicemails and never hear from them.

I like the gym here because, even if there is a lot of people, theres still space for you. Also, everything is included and the membership is such a low price. Overall, it is AMAZING!!!1, but it doesnt have a pool if youre looking for that.

Someone is always cleaning. Ive been to other PF around and they are unacceptable compared to El centro location. Keep up the good work. Good job on equipment maintenance everything is always working right.

Friendly staff. Its been about 20 yrs since Ive gone to the gym and they made it very comfortable to start again. I need to go more though. Its never very crowded when we go and can usually get the machine you want immediatly.

Great place to exercise, plenty of options and very clean. Music is loud but it gets you going. They also offer options to relax after your workout and provides a large restroom complete with showers and lockers.

Very packed but theres plenty of machines to use. Great service and always clean. Respectful and no judgment.

First of all, yall giving ONE star reviews because the gym hadnt opened are a bunch of whiners, who gives reviews and doesnt even use the facility yet? I signed up in December knowing (just common sense) that it wouldnt be open in time. You can thank your fine City of El Centro for that (always delaying new businesses, never fails.) Anyway, once open I received an email AND a text message that I could go start working out, and they only charged me the membership fee.Equipment is great (clean) there arent any teenage bros taking up all the weights, the showers are super useful and I dont find it congested at all but I go later, since theyre open 24/7. If you were worried about how many people are gonna fit in there maybe you should go overpay elsewhere and realize that other gyms are just as full all the time and not as clean with gym equipment that isnt plentiful or up to standards. For $20 a month for two people including classes and training, Ill keep any whining or complaints to myself.What I paid at another local gym for two people (I only got this deal because two of us signed up as a couple):Sign up fee: $160 - monthly fee $65 and I had to pay an extra $35 a month (per person) to ADD CLASSES, and I didnt have a free choice I had to choose from one of two packages of classes to take. After I joined there was never any room and all the dudes took up the weight equipment. A month or two wait is a small price to pay compared the the tons of money I used at the gym before I joined Planet Fitness! Stop your griping and just go sign up already.

What a sleazy way to do business. No contract, yet I got an annual fee charged when I cancelled before the due date. They stated that I had to do it 10 days before, even though the sales rep never told me. Manager Brayan couldnt help and the area manager Alex doesnt even have a regular number (Google number). Cant get in contact with corporate since these are franchises. Youre better off with other gyms, they are up front about their fees. Really disappointed!

Ive been to a lot of PF locations across the country while traveling - this location has been one of the cleanest and nicest!

The work out classes are fun to participate in. If you arent one of the regulars you better be on time or you can lose your reserved spot.

Customer service is Pathetic!!! Dont deserve a single star! They never answer your calls and when they do they start telling you all this bullshet to get you to sign up! Dont let the fancy name and equipment fool you! Theres many gyms in the area that have great equipment and service! Avoid any disappointments by NOT joining this gym!! You deserve better than a horrible service like this gym offers!

Pretty good gym but machines could use maintenance. Staff is also all over the place, people are able to sneak in easily by just walking through the line.

Their exercise area is ok. But their bathroom is awful. The toilet dont even flush. Sink water pressure is very low. And bathroom was dirty. It was a horrible experience.
