Committed and very helpful service
Was hoping to get leads to places, people and programs to help me in my current situation. unfortunately, I ended up with only an appointment to come back a few days later and a cup of soup as my hot meal ????? now, I dont know about you but, Im homeless and hungry. Meaning I need immediate help. For goodness sake, you call yourself Crises house. At no point did I feel like I was getting help for my crisis situation. And a cup of soup that costs .75 maybe 1.00, should be considered a hot meal to anyone! And as far as the appointment went, when I returned a few later. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes.Again, at no point did they ask or even offer. Help for the crisis situation Im going through. Extremely disappointed that, if thats the kind of help out there for those who are seriously going through a crisis,...explains why the homeless do some of the things they do.
They helped my family get off the streets years ago.
Great resource center. Awesome, awesome, awesome, staff who love their jobs and are willing to help you out any way they can. Definitely a friendly welcoming environment that gives reason to come back. Clothing, food, toiletries, mail, k9 food, showers, storage, all in one place. :)
They helped with dmv IDs thankyou
Helpful and wonderful staff. Make you feel ok about being there.
Helps people out who cant pay to get identification
Giving this place 3 stars only because of a lack of funding and donations. Staff are still great and Im if they still were receiving the same amounts of goods they were getting 3 years ago when I needed help they would no doubt give me the help I needed at the time
Went there looking for help. They simply handed me a resouce info package & sent me on my way. I thought they were supposed to be the resouce for E. County! Where does there $ go?
The crisis house does next to nothing for anyone. I noticed all the rave reviews are from local guides whatever that means. I challenge any one of those people giving positive reviews to contact me and discuss any positive claim theyre making regarding the crisis house. The crisis house is a shameful example of people utilizing public funds allocated to help the homeless for their own profit. The employees are snotty deceptive and make it painfully obvious that they couldnt care less about assisting the homeless or anyone else.
Always there for you if needed great people
Good resource if in need of something
Terrific resource for homeless persons or victims of domestic violence.
Easy and pleasurable experience.
Awesome and Friendly Staff..Willing to help in any way possible
Can usually count on finding an outfit in the bin, lunch like mom would have made for you, a restroom people can actually use, the mobile bus from FHC, as well as outreach workers to assist you with your appts etc, and vouchers for CA I D available as well, also if you lack stable housing go there and take the VI-Spidat, its an assessment to help with permanent housing, transitional housing, or shelter, depending on your needs. Also supervised visitation is available and its great, many years ago I used their visitation for 6 + months, never had a problem. 5*****
Wonderful caring people are the only words to discribe the experience
I came here looking for help however they had little to no information on resources to assist.
Very nice place to reach out when I really need it. Thanks for your support.
They really help the homeless. No judgements.
They r very good about helping the homeless
I went there for information. They could not provide me with a brochure. The place was a filthy pig pin. The trash in the bathroom which is very viable from the lobby was overflowing with food trays.
Im hoping to receive some help they seem to really care here.
They help homeless thats awesome!
Helpful organization. Undestaffed.
No help at all. Wrong info when I called. I drove 75 min for nothing
Crisis house1034 North MagnoliaGreat resource center.
They a mail if youre homeless, hygiene pack once a week, you can charge your phone in the lobby or use the bathroom but thats about it. They do not have WiFi, shelter beds, or motel vouchers. The 3rd Wednesday a month they have a mobile shower. They do provide some other resources but you have to call to see what they have available for your specific needs.
Great place
They lock the access gate from the sidewalk making it difficult for handicapped people to access
Helpful services offered here but, very dirty and smelly like rarely cleaned
Not cery helpful. Long walk, long wait.
The crisis house helps a lot of homeless people in the East County
