We had demoed one built-in vanity and needed to have the new free standing one installed along with new faucets. The supply lines and shut-offs needed replaced as well. The second bathroom needed new faucets, supply lines and shut-offs also. Even though Brooks hit some snags with the drain lines in both bathrooms, everything was done and in place in no time. He went above and beyond doing additional work and even put the finishing touches on the vanity which was not in the scope of work.We are very pleased with the level of service we received.

Sitko has always been great with the services they have provided to our company, agents, and our clients. In this case, they went above and beyond. Lisa in the office specifically was so unimaginably kind and helpful; I am simply beyond words ecstatic for me, the Realtor I work with, and our client who is selling their home. Because - here is the story...Before listing the home, the utilities had been turned off; before we could have photos taken, we had to have the utilities turned back on. We phoned the utility company, and they turned on the electricity. But when the home inspection was in progress, it was noted by the home inspector that the gas had not been turned back on. We called the utility company again, and they told us we needed to have a city inspection to turn the gas back on. They couldnt tell us why it was necessary, and they wouldnt schedule the lock removed from the gas meter until we had permits and a signed authorization from the city to turn the gas back on. Of course, safety is extremely important; we couldnt imagine why all this was necessary because there hadnt been any repairs needed on the gas line, just that the home was vacant and the former tenant disconnected services. So the situation was eating into our contingency times, as you can imagine. So we phoned the city and explained to them we needed to have their inspection done, they explained they needed to know what work was done. We gave them the whole story, and they said despite no work having been done, we would need a plumber to do a pressure test at the property to ensure the gas line integrity. This is where Lisa comes in.... I called Lisa at Sitko to schedule the pressure test on the gas line, I explained all of the above to Lisa, and she said if there wasnt any work being done or a flag on the home or gas line, then they should be able to turn the gas back on. She suggested reaching back out to the utility company and, if necessary, pushing for a supervisor to investigate further. I took Lisas advice and went back to the utility company and was on hold multiple times but finally spoke with someone who could tell me why we had to jump through all these hoops to get the gas turned back on. It turned out that way back in 2009; a flag was placed on the gas line for repairs... The work order was completed, but the flag had not been deactivated, so the first customer service person I spoke with saw the flag and didnt look any further; she merely explained we needed clearance from the city, and there was nothing else she could do. Thankfully Lisa gave me the best advice and explained what the flag meant so I could take it further with the right person at the utility company. Lisa has saved us days of extra work, the possibility of falling out of escrow, and a minimum of $1,000.00 in fees/charges to the city and a plumber. Bathroom faucet started leaking on Sunday. Called Sitko Services who sent their plumbers out Monday morning. Two very polite and knowledgeable service personnel immediately assessed the problem. I called Brooks Sitko on January 10th 2019 when the toilet in my downtown business clogged and wouldnt flush for the fourth time in four weeks. Im in a historic building with historic cast iron pipes, and 115 years worth of stuff flushed down. The toilet clogs when you show it a piece of toilet paper. Brooks and his assistant arrived with about a 6-foot router. I scoffed. The clog was about 6-feet below us in the basement, and then about 35 feet south-west. Brooks had a few other ideas. None of which unclogged the toilet. Then he suggested kinetic air with a caveat (printed on the invoice) that its a short-term solution with no warranty. Well, the pressurized air cleared the clog, and today, eight weeks later the toilet still flushes just fine. Im a happy customer. Each of the three visits from the previous plumber cost me more than twice my $200 invoice from Sitko. Plus Brooks seems like a likeable fellow.

Sitko plumbing to the rescue once again! Brooks has been out multiple times now to our home for numerous issues. The latest time our hot water heater blew out. He came out (WITHIN THE HOUR!) and gave me a variety of options for a replacement. After explaining the benefits of a Tankless hot water heater he had one installed the same day! I don’t know how anyone can go back to an old tank water heater after hearing how beneficial a tankless water heater can be! It’s been almost a week now and we love it. Sitko plumbing replaced my water heater,2 shower cartridges, and regulatory. Service was thorough and we are very satisfied.Brooks had a great attitude and thats goes a long way with us.

Two guys came to our rental to stop a toilet from rocking. They charged us $300 to remove and replace said toilet. The reason for the rocking was the flange was rusted on one side and the bolt would not seat. The boys said they would have to replace the flange because they failed to make the proper repair. They wanted to install a new flange and fernco (parts estimated $30 for flange and fernco $15) with out having to go under the house.The boys were on site from 11:58:53 AM to 1:14:09 PM (1 hour 15 minutes). Final cost $1039! Minus $45 materials equals $994 divided by 1.25(hrs) equals $795.20 per hour. Does that sound right?
