After serving over seas for 3 years and finally having my car delivered stateside again and I needed the warm and fuzzies before driving my Audi up to Washington from San Diego. Mark and staff did a great job on the oil change and diagnostics. Because of past experiences I was expecting a sales pitch on work that needed to be done. NOPE! They were very honest and gave me the green light for the road trip. I was awestruck on their honestly and I will go back to them again when I move back to San Diego.

Such a good experience here! Mark called me within 2 hours after I dropped off my car with the diagnosis. I have an odd schedule and they worked with me on when I could return to pick up the car. It was a bonus for them to do my smog certification and I appreciated it. They replaced a wheel bearing for me and my car sounds so much better now and safer. Staff is respectful of a persons time and situation. I highly recommend!

Took my car here to get it ready for smog, mark made me feel like choice was a no brainer, he said the problem would get handled and it did. My 1998 Acura Rl has misfiring on the whole right side of the engine, took it to acouple shops to handle the cylinders and 1500 in nothing. I took it to gregs, and when it was released the misfiring was gone. My cars been running pretty smooth, and the best part about this place is marks customer service, and the mechanic. These guys are great, my cars are coming here now🙂

I first used Greg’s while on the way home from having work done at the dealership. The dealer did not secure a part of the front bumper & I pulled into Greg’s just to see what the noise was. They secured the bumper for me charging only for the clips. That was 10 years ago. Since then my whole family uses Greg’s including my grandkids! My most recent work was done at the El Cajon location. Rocker arms, brakes & oil change.

Everyone I spoke to was very patient, professional, helpful and straight to the point about what needed to be done.

Very friendly and I like the idea of my information was stored in to the system prior to me arriving so I didnt have to repeat everything of why I was there in the first place! They work on my car and gave me detail to detail of all my repairs that needed to be done! With no pressure to perform any repairs at their facility!

Called Mark and got an appointment for 1st thing Monday morning. Dropped my Jeep off and went to get something to eat. Came back a short while later. They had found the problem, but it was going to be a couple hours before they could get the parts and fix it. Gave me a ride home and called and came to get me when it was done.I have used this shop for many years for both my Jeep and my daughters cars. I came back with my wifes F150 and my jeep. Both for brake inspections. Both needed front pads.... rotors turned (F150) & rotors replaced (Jeep). Both of the rear brakes had some life left. Work was done professionally and completed within a few hours. Well be coming back and will be recommending to friends and family.

I’ve been coming to Greg’s since 2009. I will continue to come here because finding a honest mechanic is not easy. Before I found Greg’s Automotive, it was always a nightmare at the stealerships. You know that game they always play ‘how much stuff can they find wrong with your car, then try 5 expensive things before they fixed the problem, and then you have to bring it back in a week’. Thats not the case with Greg’s. In 12 years I have never had to bring my vehicle back, they don’t play games. They fix the problem the first time. That’s hard to find. 10/10.

Ive been going to Gregs Automotive for a few years. They have always given me the best service. You can trust your car to them. I will go to them for every car repair or service. This is a great place.

Gregg’s is definitely our go-to for maintenance and repairs. Courteous, professional and prompt, and at very reasonable pricing.

Only had oil changed here but very good, quick service at the counter. No issues or delay on work done. Oil changes include general inspection and theyll let you know if something could be serviced.

Had issue with wifes car and they were able to fix it for a reasonable price. Mark kept us in the loop the whole time and got it done within a day. Was referred from a co-worker originally and have been taking my cars here ever since. Terrific service.

I took my car to Gregs while on vacation in San Diego and they were very quick to diagnose the problem. They understood that I needed to get back home asap and unfortunately as my luck has it the fix would not be a simple fix and would take 3-4 days to get the parts and rebuild. I understood the situation and although stressed because of my time constraints knew that they would have it fixed as soon as they possibly could. These guys were so great that even though they do not normally open on Saturdays, came in on Saturday to help expedite getting me back on the road. I got my car back and on the road a few days earlier than I could have had thy not gone the extra mile! As I have also had other work on others cars done here and have always been happy and impressed with their work and have also recommended them to all my friends and family, I would also recommend them to anyone looking for quality work. I have been taking my car to Gregs Auto for 10 years. I am impressed with their honesty first and foremost, the quality of the workmanship and their willingness to go beyond what is necessary to be helpful.

This place does not honor your appointment. We have specifically scheduled for Thursday and when I get there on Thursday, I was told that it was the day before which was made up prob because 1. Im a young lady 2. theyre too full of other people.Edit: thank you for applying my comment. First of all, I didnt not scheduled for Wednesday, period. I remember that. It was Thursday. When I came on Thursday, you said wrong day, you can do the next day thats why you set Friday. No other accommodation. I cancelled that later on because I dont want to support business like yours and rather pay more to go somewhere closer. I do apologise I missed one before, but it was not both Monday and Tuesday. Just one appointment and I apologised in the phone. Make stories and blame on customers is not the way to do business.
