Sergios has a good mechanic named Hector whom primarily represents the primary duties of their shop with the aid of an apprentice. Sergios son Ramon handles all the the Customer Service needs and transactions. The price is right and the service is good.

*update 5/1/20* knock sensors on my wifes vehicle needed to be changed. Work was done quickly price was really reasonable. Went here to have my A/C Compressor changed. He gave us a fair market value, was quick and no hidden fees. We will definitely be coming back for services.

4.4 is under rated.The employees there are unlike mechanics HONEST!They greeded me humbly, made me feel comfortable on the inetial greeting.their prices are just below going rates cause i always get second,third opinions on any car solutions(repairs).Sergios initial greeting is somewhat intimidating,but the man is really down to earth.First time custemer but definatly not the last time.

Ive been going to this shop for over 10yrs now and even though I live in another state I visit San Diego regularly and let them handle all my automotive maintenance when Im in town!

Worst place ever. Really poor service for two of us in one family when we tried to have Sergio work on our cars. Price kept changing then changed 2000 up. Then he didn’t have room in his lot(beware of this with him, he is not of his word) apparently so he parked my car on the street. It needed repair and also the registration was behind because it was a transmission fix so I was going to wait to get it registered till I got it fixed. He knew this. And still parked it on the street for days. Without my knowledge or permission. When he finally told me what he did, he said it got towed. Sent me a pic of an empty parking space a block from his shop. Real nice. Now I have to deal with all this and probably lose the car. Never did anything to it. Kept trying to sell me his dads car one day instead, then told me the car was worth getting fixed the next. It was in his care and responsibility when it got towed. I still don’t even have the key to my vehicle. And he lied to my ex about her car twice (We don’t think he really knew what was wrong with it we think he was just guessing) and then her car just died horribly. Sergio is good sometimes, but a lot of times it is this. Anything major beware. His lot will get you towed and he doesn’t care a bit. He lies a lot and changed his story on both cars (2010 and 2010) again and again. Don’t go to him especially if it’s major.

I brought my f150 to Ramon the sons owner for a bouncing tire, and he change a lot of parts ($1,095 worth) and THAT DID NOT FIXED MY PROBLEM, since I trusted him because he was my wife’s neighbor for like 15 years i paid him And when I was on the freeway the tire was still bouncing, and I brought it back he said he couldn’t fixed and I ask him for my money back and he said he already changed the parts, andI told him that I didn’t wanted those parts changed because I didn’t needed them at the moment, I brought it for a different problem, I ALSO TOLD HIM THAT MY AC HAD A LEAK AND HE STILL PUT MORE GAS FOR THE AC AND CHARGED ME $80 AND THE GAS STILL LEAKED, SO NO AC AND I PAID HIM, I DONT THINK THEY KNOW WHAT THEY-ARE DOING JUST DONT GIVE THEM MONEY UP FRONTBEWARE WITH THIS SHOPI FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN ROBED

My brother recommended Sergios to me. As a woman, its very hard to know where to take a car to be fixed. Its so easy to be taken advantage of. Everyone at Sergios was very respectful and honest. I thought I needed new brakes, but they said I didnt. They repaired the 14 year old belts that were squealing and welded the manifold/pipe to fix an exhaust noise. Very reasonable prices! I am so thankful to have found a car repair shop I can trust. Highly recommend!

Some think that this man walks on water! The staff at Sergios will diagnose your problem and find the best solution to get you back on the road as quickly as possible. They have been known to once in a while not even charge for a quick diagnosis. When I have that happen I see that these guys arent doing it just for the money they are doing this because they love what they do. I use this shop for all my vehicles and the repairs needed. I strongly recommend Sergios for all your car repair needs.

I have used Sergios Auto repair for both cars and trucks. He has always been fast and reasonable. In my 42 years in living in Santee, I have never found anyone as good. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic service! Sergio the owner himself took care of my car when I had multiple check engine numbers coming back. I had a P0303 code for a 2003 Ford Escape which multiple places were giving me a 600$+ estimates. He gave me advice where to get the parts at a great price and installed them all at the best rate I ever received. He even took me step by step what the problem was and how he fixed them. Just recently my check engine came back on, he told me to bring it in. The cord for my heater was burnt up and he replaced it in 10 mins no charge. This is a man who cares. Hell be getting my service from here on out.
