Great place to learn discipline, self-defense, self-control, and humbleness.
Kindred is an exceptional gym! I have been coming here since 2017. My son and I started first in JiuJitsu, then later, started taking Muay Thai. The people are great and the training rocks.
Had a great time training at Kindred today. No pressure, super cool people. If youre up north you gotta check them out.
I started taking my FIRST ever Muay Thai classes here and I have always felt welcomed and part of the family. By joining, I found a community that I am proud to belong to and look forward to seeing. Not only am I challenged physically but I feel genuinely accepted at what skill level I am able to offer. I cannot recommend enough 👍🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻
Great family-like atmosphere. Laid back people but they are really passionate about Jiu jitsu. Lots of good seminars. Good balance of gi and no gi.
So. Much. Fun. And seriously addicting. I can get a bit anxious around new groups but for whatever reason I felt more comfortable here than other gyms I’ve trained at. The instructors and higher level students are patient and eager to teach you new things. The Muay Thai classes were fun as well.
My youngest son started training here not too long ago and he loves it. Do yourself a favor, and cruise through one evening, an Ill make any of you a bet: youll have a big grin from ear to ear at least 50-70% of your visit! Guaranteed. No, seriously. Those guys in there, really drive the awesome environment and welcoming vibes you feel once you get there.
I am a white belt visiting Edmonds from out of town. I decided to check out the nogi classes (didnt bring my gis). The whole team at Kindred is very welcoming, including the students. It is a positive training environment and the instructors are detail oriented.
