Its interesting to say the least. Definitely an experience you should try once. There are moving animals (electronic) and thunder/lighting and simulated rain fall. Unfortunately the animals look out dated and most look cheaply done. The talking tree outside looks like its seen better days. The staff were dismissive and the food took almost an hour to arrive. The staff didnt come check on us throughout our meal and we waiting forever to even order. The food is expensive which was to be expected but it didnt taste well made. The food definitely is not worth the price but I guess youre paying for the intended experience. Over all 3/5 stars. The staff could use some training on customer service and should bus the tables more often and the food could be better along with the animals/decor could be updated as well.

If I could give zero stars I would. After waiting an hour and a half for a table, we were greeted by the server explaining we had 9 minutes to order before the kitchen closed. She took our drink order and returned almost 20 minutes later with the wrong drinks all together, and then 15 minutes later letting us know they were out of the vodka we ordered. All said and done we waited almost an hour for drinks. Our food was a whole other story…after we FINALLY ordered, our food took FOREVER to come out. When our food finally arrived our dinner entree was ice cold and my daughters pizza had a huge hair in it (pictured). We were told the kitchen was closed and nothing could be remade. They took our food off the bill, and we paid for our appetizer and drinks, with an apology that “tonight was really tough” on them.Don’t waste your time, energy, and money, honestly you’ll get better food and a better experience at McDonald’s.

Daniella was our server tonight. We were seated immediately by the manager. There were 11 other tables there besides us. Service, food and drink wait were what Id expect for that. Food came out cooked perfectly; steak temp was correct. Fried food was crispy and order was accurate. Daniella was so nice and accommodating and even though it was after closing, she still brought my daughter a cupcake for her birthday and collected staff to sing. My daughter said this was the best day ever and a large part of that was due to Daniellas personality and professionalism. We will return because of her. Very good experience. Kudos to the manager as well for seating us so quickly and asking if all our food came out all right. Thank you!!

Cool place food was good... make sure you call for reservation they do take walk-ins but youre going to have to wait.

A little over the average price but its a very nice ambience. I ate here 10 years ago but I recently had been buying takeout after Covid. I plan on Dining In because its so nice inside. This could be a place to bring a date. Updates will come soon, I told a few of my friends we should eat here.

We love going here. The atmosphere is amazing along with the staff and the food is always delicious. We will most definitely be going again.

Words cannot express this place, its fantastic, the food is fantastic, the environment is fantastic, but he service is fantastic and the the gift shop is fantastic. Even have light up cups you can keep. Great place for family and couples. The prices are ok but may need to dig a little deep but hefty amount and high quality food.

The food was great, as well as the customer service. It was a birthday gift for me and was definitely a good experience. My daughter was so excited to be around everything and we sat under the stars and she really enjoyed it. I definitely recommend. I just wish i had more money to tip my waitress but unfortunately i dont make that much

I use to go to Rainforest Cafe when I was a young child. This is Our Very First Time coming to this Spot since I became a mother and had grew up. We Enjoyed Ourself. Yes they prefer you To Reserve First Online. The waiting List was long like 1hr & 1.5. So I reserved online n got seated Quicker that way. They do have ALOT of empty tables & DO Refused to seat when you when you walk in(Crazy) Waiting for the food at the table was LONG but IT Was Kinda Worth it. I had the Manager come to our Table cause our Appetizer didnt come Out Right as Described.The gift shop was enjoyable and pricey.

Fun experience with the safari theme, brings back childhood memories of visiting the Rainforest Cafe in Hong Kong. The food was okay, not that great tbh. A bit expensive though.

There was no wait at all which I like the only issue I did have was that there was only about 3 other families there and it took almost an hour for the food to come out . The food was good but unfortunately I wont be going out

A tropical theme place to hangout with friends and family or some corporate event. Went for anniversary date and the ambience is amazing, which in itself makes the day more special. Giving 4 star since I’m vegetarian and options were very limited for me. But overall Service was amazing and food was great. They even offered us complimentary ice-cream over sorbet.

This is one of the cutest restaurants. I took my kids up from nc to sesame place and couldnt resist driving them to Jersey for their first rainforest cafe experience. I used to love coming here as a child. It was nice to get to show them. They loved it.

I use to come to this as a kid in another mall but they closed 15 years ago and I wasnt able to find another one. This place brings back memories! The gift shop, friendly staff, the rainforest atmosphere with constant thunderstorms, and the huge aquarium styled fish tanks. The food was good, fairly priced, and there was a good amount of options on the menu

Don’t do it to yourself. Just don’t. Everything is disgusting, and whatever this was supposed to be tasted like puke, tilapia has no taste, shrimp tasted half frozen in the middle. Don’t waste your money.

I’m only giving this one star so I can give my review. Stay away on the weekends unless I think you have reservations I guess. The hostess told us it would be a 2 hour wait so we waited around an hour in half we noticed many tables open so we spoke with the manager he was able to get us a table 5 minutes later go figure. Now we sat there for another hour still no food. I spoke with the manager after seeing him go to other tables. Let him know how irritated we were. If I knew we were going to wait this long I would have rather spend my money at the food court. STAY AWAY unless you have reservations maybe but I wouldn’t be surprised if they made you wait still. Did I mention the bday cake that got to the table and it fell over on the plate and the waitress still lite the candle we just had to laugh at it but definitely never returning to Rain forest Cafe in Woodbrige I rather go to Applebee’s

I understand that the menu is smaller than it was before. But its a little bit too expensive for me. Also, the food was ok.

We took our son here for the first time today. We hadnt been here in 15-20 years. My wifes chicken sandwich tasted funky so she sent it back. The manager personally came over and said they would take care of it right away and also asked if she would like something else to eat in the meantime. When we finished our dinner, the manager sent us the Lava Cake on the house which was massive and really good. He also made the rainforest lights and sounds go off for my son who was obsessed with the gorillas, elephants and others moving. The staff was great and this is how a situation like this should be handled.

Our waiter Allison was the best, super friendly and prompt to help our quite big party of 18, she brought everything in order and her awesome personality was a cherry on top. The food is extremely delicious, the drinks are tasty as well. We where all happy and full after a great dinner and the service in this place.

It has been quite a few years since I have visited a Rainforest Cafe but it is as I remember it.The staff, food & drink were very good.

Celebrated my sons 21st birthday here. I brought him here when he was 8 years old. The food was good and the volcano was just as he remembered it. This time he was able to enjoy the drinks.

The service was great, but there was still a wait during off peak time. The burgers were wonderful. Should definitely try if you are there for the American fare.

We mentioned to our waiter we did not want our appetizers to come out with our food. He assured us that was not going to happen.Well it did. The manager and waiter said they were cooking fresh food for us. When our food came to us, it look like the same food from before.How do we know cause we ordered a cheeseburger and the cheese looked as it has been sitting there.We will not be going to any RAINFOREST CAFE…

Birthday was special. Did was great!

I took my family out for a fun night out and I’m sad to say the food and service was horrible. All of the food is from the freezer so do not order the burger, do not order the coconut shrimp, all kids meals, all apps is frozen food filled with pesticides. If that’s your cup of tea go for it but I won’t waste my hard earned money or time eating here again. The service was severely poor. Took 15 minutes to order drinks. 50 minutes for nasty food to come out and we just skipped dessert and ran out of there. You know the food is bad if the waiter doesn’t ask how your food is or would you like your food to go? Disgusting!

The Rainforest Cafe is always a fun experience! Food and drinks were delicious and the ambience was fun and vibrant. Place seems a bit understaffed but the service was overall good and staff was friendly. Place was also very clean inside. Definitely would recommend this location.

Brought my daughters to the Rainforest Cafe to celebrate. This was our first time. I was a little disappointed because the utensils were dirty. I looked on another table for cleaner utensils but they had spots on them. We ended up using our hands to eat. I gave the experience a three because the decor was nice and the finger food tasted okay.

This place is nice, they have good food. My kids love going there. However this time we didnt have a pleasant experience. The server was in a bad mood for some reason, and our food took forever to come. Kids love the place and hence we kept on revisiting but I guess I have to find them a different place. I wish the service was better this time.

Food was low standard, not fresh . We had to eat only the fries because nothing was ok to eat and we spent more than 100 bucks just for trash . The environment was good and attractive to kids . I give 1 star just for the environment.

Its a very fun place to have lunch or dinner. I really enjoyed my dinner. The design is to mimic a rainy forest. Is a good place for kids to get to know about animals and sort of make them friends with. I highly recommend it.

Its a great place to get a change in environment especially the rainforest feeling is awesome. The staff is great and they never pushed for getting orders and also told us that we can take out time and walk around the place to check out different animals displayed. It feelt so relaxed to sit and enjoy the lunch without any hurry unlike other places who hurry things up to clear the table as soon as possible. Fish fingers that we ordered were oily which needs improvement.Five stars to our server and the person at the entrance who got us a table, sorry I forgot both their names.

The drinks are totally watered down, it felt like they forgot to add alcohol. The server kept on convincing us to get our drinks in their special glasses even when we said no multiple times. The flatbread was soggy and salty, was not edible. The two stars are for the ambiance only.

Mind blowing forest experience!!! Should try for sure.

The only reason Im not putting 5 stars is because it took forever to get our meals! We had a reservation for 2:30 and didnt start eating until around 4:30! No joke! Everyone was super friendly and the food was great, that is just my only complaint. It was long enough where it warranted losing a star.

If the dont have any reservations online available and you call ahead of time to see if they take walk ins and they say yes, dont believe them because it will be a lie. We called ahead and they say well we did have space now we dont, even though they didnt receive any additional reservations. Waste of time and no respect or consistency.

Wait time was 45mins. Food was okay not great, was it worth the wait- NO. The food took another hour to come. If your going, make reservations and dont choose the fish and chips too greasy. Mash potatoes was not good either. I brought my kids and I didnt get a kids menu. Overrated!

The service was not good. Staffing was inadequate. Tables were not cleaned promptly. There were many tables that had previous diners dirty plates on the tables from the time we arrived thru the time we left. Service was very slow. The restaurant was not what it used to be. Very disappointed.

This restaurant brings back so many childhood memories, but beyond that the food is great and the staff is wonderful. Im vegetarian and went there with my family. When I asked for a menu item to be modified without meat the manager made sure to specialize the dish with extra veggies and a special sauce so that it would be just as delicious even with my dietary restrictions. I highly recommend this place for great food, atmosphere, and service.

When we first where seated my wife asked to sit by the elephants and they said no till I got the Manager. Great food and fun place but it was a bad start and scary finish because we thought our debit cards where frozen half way through our trip!

Service was friendly and professional. Atmosphere was very fun and great for kids(or young hearted adults) food was fresh and delicious.

I went with a couple of friends for dinner. It was nice and the food was pretty good, my only problem was it was freezing cold inside. My friend ran out to the car to get her jacket fortunately she brought one. The Rainforest is supposed to be warm felt more like the Arctic

Well this is one of my favorite restaurants for their theme, food and the cute little store. Their food is always yummy and I love it. They provide a very good reception. Their cute animals toys and fingerlings are damm cute. My lo just loved it.

Slow service. You need to make a reservation and seating is still not ideal. The restaurant was filled at about 35% capacity and there was a long line to get in. People are told 2 hours for seating. Im unsure as to why because the service was terrible and the food was atrocious. Sent back my first meal, it was so poorly prepared and took about 50 min to come out. Definitely not worth the trip. Go anywhere else, even its McDonalds.

First time here since I was my sons age (hes 7) and I had no idea the food was this good. I always knew it was a little pricey but the portions you get and how the food actually tastes is well worth the money. Every bite has love in it and I will definitely be returning. Not very busy for it to be a Friday night during the summer but oh well better for me.

Took my daughter out to the rainforest in Menlo Park. The five stars are for the atmosphere and staff Obviously you don’t go here for the food but the food was average and we enjoyed our meals. It’s really a fun place for Little kids to explore and see all the animals and listen to the rain. Again this is a five-star experience and to get a nice bite to eat. My daughter really liked the rainbow to the bathroom. She says it was so pretty. just to add, I had the chicken quesadilla which was good and my daughter had the pasta with sauce and enjoyed that.

Been coming here forever. Good food, a little expensive, but nice for special occasions. The only problem is the service can be very slow. But at least theres lots to look at while you wait.Good drinks too!

We love the Rainforest Cafe. It brought back great memories to visit the restaurant again. If you have kids or are still a kid at heart like we are you need to swing by for a bite. The food is very good also. Great burgers and the Lava cake desert is amazing. The rain storms and seeing the elephants are so cool!!

Your basically paying for ambiance... u would think with how great of place it could be just from the view!!! but the food doesnt do any justice at all smh.. i almost wanted to get my apron to showem how its done 8 year chief !! For 200$ i should have went cheesecake factory !!

How is it that they cant take us when the place was nearly empty?! Told us they had a spot open 2hrs later from the time we arrived. Makes zero sense seeing there was only a few people sitting in an empty restaurant and no line at all

I used to work here full disclosure. We were told to wait for half an hour despite it looking like there werent many people present but besides that I had a good time and my food was surprisingly good.

The atmosphere is awesome! They have a souvenir shop coming in, the restaurant and the bar. The souvenirs are cool big selection, food is great all around, alcoholic drinks are good and depending on the drink you get, you get to keep the glass. Staff was good, but they did forget my cocktail and trying to get a hold of someone was hard. However once notified they quickly got it out and apologized. I wont ding it a star less, I like to look at the big picture and overall this was a five star experience for me!

Food was ok, waitress was ok, wasent really impressed with anything especially after driving and hour with two cranky kids and seeing about two dozen open tables for the hostess to tell me I have to wait twenty minutes because of short staff, thats honestly not my problem and restaurants need to stop using that as an excuse, pay better or treat workers better to keep staff full.

I’ve contacted them three times for a birthday party and no one answered or responded. I sent them an email waited a week no answer. Called they said the manager would call me the next day, I got no call back. Just called again they left me on hold for 30 minutes. They just lost a big birthday party we would of had and business. I would not recommend them to anyone.

We will absolutely not be returning. The service was atrocious even with a lower capacity we had reservations and two children with us and it took forever to be seated an even longer for our waiter to acknowledge us. What was the point of our reservation? The kids even started wondering if we had a waiter. The price of everything you expect I would atleast have a good time not even a good meal I know it’s not a 5 star gourmet cuisine restaurant. 11 dollars alone for a mule with zero liquor. Additionally they were blasting music so you could not even hear the animals or rainforest? Wasn’t that the point of eating here. When mine came out behold in the picture what they tried to feed me, I didn’t touch mash potatoes or that “gravy” that looked like a lego or block when it popped out of the container after he brought me a second one out that was it. After when I got home I was sick. We left to get dessert somewhere else because we said we’d never get to go home. I cleaned the plates into piles all had our jackets and masks on before he even brought the check. I didn’t get to explore with my family around the restaurant because I was too busy waiting for the waiter yet again, to bring me my card. This was a very disappointing experience. I had to spend over $100 here when there’s places going out of business because of Covid and these people aren’t even appreciating their customers. Due to the pandemic we always tip higher and appreciate our time out, I can’t say that this time. There are many other options out there, my review... go somewhere else. It’s a shame the themed restaurant was always fun.

Loved the atmosphere. It brings me back to when i use to come as a child. The food was surprisingly good with nice portion size. We asked to sit by the waterfall with the kids and they were more than accommodating. Staff was friendly and goods with the kids. Great place for families or a group of friends.

Great rainforest cafe! I love it here! Brings me back to when I was a kid. This is the closest one for me, and my boyfriend and I came all the way from CT to come here. Excellent service, nice manager and nice hostess. The manager came over the the table to make sure everything was okay

This Rainforest Cafe is really a terrible representation of the franchise. No fish anywhere, all of the ones we have ever been to have had awesome saltwater fish tanks. One of the animatronics wasn’t even working and the food was subpar. This just isn’t the experience we expected to have for the price you pay to eat there. $$$$

Amazing place for kids

For my first experience it was really tasty. Scenery was cute especial for the kiddies.... they would love this place...... I had the Rasta Pasta with chicken and a side of shrimp. Dont ever get a side they cheat you for $6 I got 4 lousy small shrimp. Not worth the money but they were tasty
