I thought my psychiatrist was decent in services. Until, he simply was tired of hearing that I am still emotionally stressed only to advise me to go back into an abusive living environment to avoid an environmental hazard. They arent professionals and just here for a paycheck. If you ask me, the place is a scam where they could careless where their case workers are placing people in dwelling. Fail to report illegal housing conditions in my opinion.Update, if you choose to go get your clinician services elsewhere but keep UBHC for the psychiatrist services, they will unlawfully deny you using their psychiatrist services by saying you dont take medication. So, you no longer need our services. In my opinion, this further supports my suspicion that they unnecessarily want to put patients on medication for making profit from the pharmaceutical companies.

Before being asked any questions I asked if I would be billed a copay and the woman I was with said very clearly that no, the insurance I have will cover it. Lies. A few months down the line I end up being billed over $500 for a visit that lasted at most three hours, no diagnosis, no follow-up, no scheduled therapist, nothing. These people did absolutely nothing for me and still sent me a bill EVEN WHEN THEY SAID MY INSURANCE WOULD COVER THE FIRST MEETING! Spent nearly three hours pouring my heart out to three different people only to be told that Id have to look for a therapist elsewhere. These people dont care. I dont recommend them whatsoever.

This clinic is overtaxed and poorly staffed - a last resort clinic that provides minimal care and is aimed at non-compliant and severe cases of major mental illness. This, despite being one of the very few mental health clinics that medicaid patients can access. The result: they can not and do not provide adequate care in a sizable number of cases.Dr. Iofin, in particular, is unsympathetic and incompetent. If you need care and have absolutely no other options, this clinic is better than nothing - but barely.

And im supposed to pay for it everytime. Now I need my refill and they discharged me out of the system because i havent been there in three months.. Want to know why? . Because the Dr gave me a three month supply!!!!!! Now Im out of medicine and wont refill my scriot to hold me over til i find someone.
