Environmental Designers cut our grass weekly and do a great job. They also recently demod and replaced paver front walkway and patio + installed a new side walkway. Looks fantastic and we didnt have a single complaint over the course of 2 weeks they were working. Great work and the installers knew what they were doing. They didnt cut any corners, drains properly and the price was lower than the other 3 estimates we received. Highly recommend.

Unprofessional and can not guarantee their work! They dont even deserve one star and wish i could give them zero star! We had six trees planted by them along our driveway in July. Before planting the trees Jeff told us we would need sprinkler system so we can water them properly so we listened and had sprinkler system installed. They planted the trees and literally couple of weeks later they all started dying. We followed all their instructions, watered them exactly how they told us with the irrigation system that we invested in. Once they started dying they came looked at it and then told us we’ll look at it after winter and see if they bloom again. Well winter is over, called them, they came and looked at it and told us they are dead and nothing they can do, they will not refund us or replace the trees as stated by the owner, Rob!! So we paid for the work, invested in sprinkler system and they killed the tree because obviously they don’t know how to plant trees and then they try to blame the customer for the their bad job. Im sure someone will reply to my review trying to blame us for the dead trees but believe me it is completely their fault and they dont even have the curtesy of taking responsibility other than offering to cut the trees for us, not replacing them just cut them off!!! This is unacceptable and unprofessional! DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH PLANTING ANYTHING.

Everyone was really professional and attentive to our mission in achieving a great curb appeal! I’m very happy with the work they have done at my parents estate! I would highly recommend!

Holy Cow !!! What an amazing job. Not only were their prices half of other companies, the work is Stellar. Jeff is an incredible designer and person, he held our hands the whole time. Thier crew came in like bulls and left like lambs. My rear yard was just blank, and now its a resort. I have such a beautiful variety of trees, shrubs and plants, something I thought I would never have. They left my property stunning and spotlesss. I only wished I had used them prior to my last landscaper. We are now considering doing other projects that Jeff suggested, we didnt even know we could do some of the things that Jeff suggested. My home looks AMAZING !! Thank you so much for being a honest contractor and not an average NJ vendor. You guys Rock !!

Weve used Environmental Designers for various jobs and every job was done professionally ! The owner Rob is very nice and always made sure we were satisfied with the end results. Their work is meticulous! The workers are always courteous and respectful of our property and the girls in the office are super! We highly recommend this company!

They did a great job at a great price, your not going to find better. Their mulch & topsoil are top quality. Rob really knows his stuff and cares about his customers and his work. he made several follow up calls to make sure my wife & i were completely satisfied. i will not call anyone but them in the future...

Really bad drivers, almost hit my car while I sitting a a red light and on top of that they started arguing and tailgating ( I have a dash cam to prove it) don’t hire this people with bad drivers can’t imagine the quality of their jobs must be poor not responsible at alll

This is a testimonial about amazing Customer Service.I own and rent out a home in the Central Jersey area but live about 2 hours away. I needed an estimate on some trees and landscaping that got out of hand. I called the office and left my number.Jeff called me back, heard my tale of woe and immediately took a look at the property and advised that it was out of the scope of what they could do but offered a reference for a tree service to assist.Most other landscaping companies would have ghosted me once the job was out of scope. Jeff took it a step further and continued to offer his help.Im still going to look to Environmental Design because they go the extra mile literally.

My neighbors utilize Environmental Designers, so we figured that we would give them a shot for some work - - apparently they are not accepting new clients at this time. To be sandwiched between two neighbors that already hire them, you would think that our property would be a relatively easy way to make a few additional dollars, but the obnoxious receptionist hung up on me (twice!) when I tried to get information as to why they are advertising with lawn signs if they are not accepting new business. With incompetent employees who couldn’t draw in new business to save their own hide, it’s a wonder who would want to hire them in the first place. Save your time, money, and sanity and go with another landscaping company!

Great experience with this company, all of their work is exceptional. Jeff was very pleasant to deal with. I will continue to use Environmental designers for my landscaping and recommend them for the future.

Great experience with their regular maintenance. Reliable and easy to communicate. However, not so for 1-time project which took way too long. We ended up cancel the project and was refunded the deposit. I would say if youre not in a hurry for a landscaping project, they can probably do a great job for you based on all those good comments (I also think their price is very reasonable). But they definitely overbook themselves and wont complete things in their promised time frame (below is my experience).--------------Paid deposit in April 1st and was told the project can be done in 3-4 weeks. I waited until May 20th, contacted, and was told the project would be done around mid June. July 8th, still no show, so I contacted again, no reply. Contacted again on July 10th, no reply. On about Aug 5th, I wrote an email to the office and was finally contacted saying my work will be done in next few weeks. Still no one showed up. I reached out again during labor day weekend, knowing the contractor had a personal situation in mid-Aug, which I very much understand. But still, by excluding August, my project had been pushed again and again. So I wrote this review and hope the company can give its client some respects --- people all have schedules and timelines. If you dont value my business, I will give it to somebody who does.

We hired them to grade and plant grass seed on our property. They charged us $80/yd for 20 cubic yards of top soil. When the job was complete we ended up finding rocks and stones of all sizes in the top soil as well as large pieces of garbage. There was also less than 20 cubic yards of soil laid out since there were many areas lacking. When confronted of this they were very rude and had an answer for every stone. They freely took our money and now we are forced to redo the whole project because he could not take any responsibility for the awful quality of his work.

I am a new and VERY HAPPY customer!!! Have had various lawn-care companies over the last 15 years and my grass NEVER looked so good. Last year I paid Lawn Doctor to focus on and treat the weeds and all they did was kill everything. So, when Rob told me what the weed treatments would cost, they sounded reasonable and I said, okay, not really expecting any results. BUT, for the first time in FOREVER, there are hardly any weeds and we have grass everywhere. I don’t know what everyone else was doing, and charging me for- but Environmental Designs knows what they are doing and the proof is clear as day!!THANK YOU, Environmental Designs :)

My first time using a lawn care service. They do a great job!

Absolutely horrible, they do not know how to plant did not even bother Digging hole plant started dying after three weeks when I called and told him about the situation they told me to Water it which I did many times eventually the guy came and planted two more now this spring four other plants have died will give them a call tomorrow they fell short on the mulch and and also the grass seeds did not produce no grass which was not guaranteed

Not sure if they really have interest for new customer. I left voicemail, email and no response. Not sure how owner operating their business.
