Newegg is the best and their customer service is out of this world. They go out of their way to help me with my CPU issue. I was outside of the return policy and I didnt even have the outer box for the CPU, but they let me return it and got a new one because the old one was defective.
This isnt a rating of their online store or Customer Service. But warehouse pick up is easy. Its located at the back of the shopping center, GPS will guide you effortlessly to it, plus theres signs to the building. Make sure not to pull into any gated area, theres no need to. Find parking adjacent to the glass office building/warehouse. When you walk in its a plain lobby. Have all your pick up forms and ID, its as simple as handing it to the guy who gets your purchase for you, you inspect it, sign for it, and done. Made 4 purchases for computer parts with warehouse pick up...usually orders are available for pick up same day or day later depending on time of order. Effortless everytime.
I have ordered from Newegg on multiple occasions, so this is not a first time bad experience review. This location/warehouse that they ship from is roughly an hour a half away from my home and the standard three day shipping never fails to be three days late. Additionally, whenever Ive made the effort to pay for the next day or two day delivery, again that is always late. My experience with the customer service has been mediocre at best, only on one occasion actually able to resolve the issue. The surveys are very strategically worded so if you think about what the questions ask, none of them are poised towards your satisfaction. Newegg has lost me as a customer, I will take my business elsewhere and pay more.
Been a customer at Newegg for a while, but this will be my last. Bought a refurbish laptop and had to return it 3 time until they would provide a refund. The Newegg supervisor told me next time I shouldnt buy refurbished. But why is Newegg selling non usable goods and next time I will just not buy from Newegg.
Will Call is great! Outstanding customer service. If you live within 1hr of the location better to pick it up then shipping directly when its expensive items.
My first experience with Newegg and a little annoyed. First annoyance was a motherboard that went out of stock, no way to auto notify when they will be back in stock so I opted for a board that was $50 more just to find out the day after I ordered the original board I wanted came back in stock...Second annoyance. After receiving an order from Newegg the other day I noticed in the tracking that it left its origin point (which is a main terminal for FedEx) that it went to another location nearby and back again to its origin location, adding an unnecessary extra day onto the delivery time. Figuring it was just a mishap on the shippers end I opted for the second order to not pay for any kind of express shipping because it is only 1 day away with standard shipping. Upon checking the initial tracking info (after placing order on Wednesday) it said the package will arrive Friday. Awesome, right? Wrong, package did the same bouncing around the 2 locations and now tracking says Monday delivery...Update: They really need to choose a new shipping solution. FedEx is the absolute worst. My package is around the corner from me, not even 5 minutes away. After calling them up Im told that no one is there and Newegg requests to not have the package held and theres magically no one at the location to allow me to come pick the package up. UnrealSo thank you Newegg for the sweet initial impression. Will definitely exhaust all other purchasing options next time.
I bought a refurbished laptop, and it arrived after a week with a password, i called them and they said looks like never was reset to factory restore, so i got another one and that a problem with the battery.but the reason i give them 3* is because they did actually give me a very easy time with support they didnt make me problems to return and get money refund, they even let me keep some extra free gift (10$ value) for free.
They suck! If I could give a 0 star I would. TV arrived broken. They wouldnt take it back because I was just outside of the return window. I didnt open the box which is my fault but out over $400 bucks. Have ordered from them for years...never again. Order local and save yourself a ton of headaches.
The problem with picking up is that it takes about six hours to get the Email receipt after you order online and indicate it is for pickup. It makes a same day pickup impractical if you do not want to deal with rush hour traffic. If they cannot get the item to the front desk an hour after ordering then it is not a usable system. Pickup is very easy once it is ready, but you must have the ready for pickup Email printed page. It is not much faster than shipping if you live in New Jersey.
Good place to buys computer parts and peripherals. Some time they have very good deals.
Been using newegg for ordering computer parts since 2007. Never had a problem with them, and theyve always been timely with getting deliveries sent out. One thing to advise is never use eggsaver unless you want to wait 2 weeks, but thats the fault of the end-user and not Newegg itself.
I like buying online for good prices but Shipping Is painfully slow when coming from CA unless you pay $20 for fast shipping. Maybe other carriers could he better. Not Fedex
I will never buy anything from them again. Over the course of theth months I have been sent the wrong product three times and the process of trying to get the correct item (and now a refund hopefully) requires jumping through so many hoops. Dont waste your time or money.
Buyer beware! Neweggs business practices have changed recently for the worse. They no longer accept returns for their items and will bait you into signing up for their premium membership in order to do so. If you happen to attempt to claim a rebate, know that Newegg will stop communicating with you if you have an issue with the item. This is by the worst customer service experience Ive ever had.

Worst online shopping experience! Buyer stay away!! Placed an order for $1200 server, a month and half later, order is still on its way. Contacted Newegg, they pushed me to the 3rd party supplier. Now Im in the process of trying to reach this 3rd party supplier. They dont even deserve this one star, if theres negative, Ill give it to Newegg

I would not send my worst enemy to this place. I watched them double the price on a video card overnight. I asked why, and they never replied. They did not even bother to send an auto response. I was sent here after a few family members sent me here. They were disgusted by the price gouge, and they will no longer be shopping there. One owns a business of building custom PCs. He has made an account at TigerDirect and is happy. Long live the internet where I am not forced to put up with this business that does not care about my business.
I asked for two day buiness shipping on a Wednesday. Them messing up on my billing info caused me to not get my products until the next Tuesday. I will NOT be using them again. They will not refund me any of my shipping cost.
Used to trust and love shopping here. Newegg did and still does have great deals. They process orders in a timely fashion. However, this time they dropped the ball. Heres a gaming related company that should value their gaming customers. However, you pre-order a video game expecting to receive the day its released or at least the day after. As with any of these online merchants. Instead, they ship it the day before with snail mail. Im less than 20 miles away from their shipping facility. No reason it should take almost a week to receive a pre-order once its released. Might as well go to the retail store and save yourself a headache. They offer a savings on game pre-orders thats not worth the wait and hassle of trying to resolve the painfully slow shipping issue.As for customer service, its almost non-existent. Waited 45 minutes to speak to someone. Only to tell me theres nothing they can do because its already shipped and I just need to wait for it to arrive. Their agents show no empathy with their customers issues or concerns. They cant wait to get you off the phone. In the end, you feel absurd for even trying.Lesson learned.
I have been a long time newegg advocate and have been purchasing my electronics there for about 10 years. Up until recently, my experience had been unparalleled as the best online marketplace for consumer electronics. But it seems that in recent years, all that has changed. What was once the most helpful customer service is now slow and unhelpful. What once was a quick and painless chat with a representative now takes over 60 min just to get connected (for both phone and chat window). And after waiting that time, I have even had them hang up on me without warning at the close of business hours. What used to be a simple exchange process for defective items, now takes multiple customer service interactions with ultimately unsatisfactory results. Most recently, after mailing a defective item for a replacement, they sold the last one one day before my item arrived at the processing facility which means that by choosing newegg all that I had to show at the end of 3 weeks was frustration and the knowledge to select a different retailer for future purchases. Take this as a word of warning, newegg is not the company that it once was. They are no longer customer-centric and can no longer guarantee any kind of customer satisfaction.
I miss their Will Call. Living just up the street from them, I have to wait? Stupid.
I have been building PCs and shopping with Newegg since they were Egghead. They are not the company that they used to be. The last two shopping experiences that I had with them were terrible. On one, they sent a clearly used/refurbished item they claimed was new. The other was a motherboard, CPU, RAM combo that was incompatible. Im done with them.
Wide selection and fast delivery but bad customer service. Ordered a PC on 10/24/17 for $1299 and on 11/19/17 it went down to $1099. I chatted with customer service and they told me to send it back and to order another the new one at the lower price. They sent me a RMA and call tag and I thought at this point my experience was awesome but then I read that there was a 25% restocking fee which the rep forgot to mention. I called again asking to get some kind of refund and the best they offered was a gift card. I called the next day and spoke with a manager who recited how their price match policy says only within 14 days but I reminded her that policy only stated for competitors and not their own merchandise, since this was sold and shipped by Newegg. In the end she wouldnt budge. Then there was the $500 monitor that I bought through Newegg but was shipped by Pixio and had crackling noises, lots of screen clouding, and had issues with the displayport. I asked Newegg for an RMA but never got a response, emailed again never got a response, and finally live chatted with them and they said there would be a restocking fee! I contacted Pixio (BTW they are great) and they said they would replace the monitor for free and said they normally dont do this but they understand how Newegg can be very difficult (how did they read my mind). Overall I got the items I wanted but Neweggs customer service and return policy are very lacking. Next time I will probably go though Amazon or pay the premium and go big box store for the security of returning/exchanging an item and price matching.
Buyer beware! I placed an order on 12/15 for an item to be given at Christmas. I received an email confirmation that it would ship out on 12/18 and would take 5-7 days to be delivered. By my math, shipping on the 18th (day 1) and delivered no later than 12/24). I checked the tracking information on 12/23 and found that it hadnt moved in 5 days. I called Newegg and was told that this was sold and shipped by a 3rd party company and that we would have to go through their customer service but they were closed today. They would email the 3rd party company but I had to give them 2 business days to respond. Newegg wasnt willing to try to find another vendor to ship the product overnight to honor their statement of delivery within 5-7 days.
Terrible company! Ordered item and paid a lot extra for same day delivery. It never showed up. Used live chat to find out where it was and got a bot. Called customer support and was told the shipping company screwed up and to call them. Called shipping company and they said package was not in their possession...worse, she said the rep from newegg had just called them (while I was on hold) and she told him the same. LIARS!!! Do NOT use this company unless you want a miserable experience and worse than useless customer support.
One thing I have never liked about Newegg is their shipping procedures. Their rush processing is an absolute joke; I dont know why they offer it, because they cant even guarantee that your order WILL be rush processed. That being said, one thing I have always liked about Newegg, is that I dont have to pay tax; with certain, higher-priced items I have purchased, I would have paid through the nose for sales tax were it not for Newegg.Customer service is ok-ish; the only thing is you have to be patient with their automated phone system, otherwise you will wind up in the wrong menu, then have to start over again. Dont go with the call-back option, either; when it did call me back, it told me to press 1 to be connected, but no matter how many times I pressed 1, the system just kept telling me my entry was invalid, until finally it said something about I had exceeded my number of attempts, and hung up on me. Best thing to do when you call, is press 0 from the main menu, and just wait - for me, I didnt have to wait long, and it was actually shorter than waiting for the system to call me back.Long story short, you will need the ability to exercise patience when dealing with this company. If you can get by their shortcomings, and be sure you are actually purchasing from them, as opposed to a third-party seller, then you will find they may be a better overall value compared to other e-tailers.

From a truckers standpoint, dumber than a box of rocks! Showed up, have a 900 appointment. They dont start working until 9. Stop at the security gate, where I check in. Guard gets my info then goes back into to the luxury of her air conditioned shack. All the time, while on she is on the phone. She asks why im here. I respond, delivery. Ok, thank you she replies. Nothing more. Stand there a few moments until she gets the hint. She comes back out and asks what? I ask where is receiving. She replies, go thru the gate and make a right. While BEHIND the building, I run from door to door to door, pounding and waiting. No one answers. Come back around to the front, where receiving actually is, and start pounding on doors, finally 1 woman tells me no one is here until 9.
