Very honest and friendly! I thought I had a leak in one of my tires but turned out My tire pressure was just low. They didn’t charge me anything and didn’t make me wait long.

JP and Marty were amazing literally changed my tires very quickly within an hour. I had a flat tire and they were kind enough to get it done fast and even offered me a spare tire. Service was amazing and job was outstanding will 100% come here again!!

Today I thought I was out of luck after calling two other Mavis locations and being turned away due to lack of time before closing. When I called to inquire the guy that answered the phone was very helpful. He said I don’t need to make an appointment and I can just bring my car in. I brought my car in and was accommodated right away, no issues.

I came in to Mavis because I needed to replace my tire. I was very impressed by how courteous and kind the employees were. It made what would have been a hassle a much better experience. It didnt take too long either.

I generally had good experiences with this location but after today, I’ll just drive to the Marlboro location. Had a friends dad replace my brakes, they were squeaking so I called mavis on Saturday to see what could be done or if I should just have mavis replace them again with better brakes. I was told to schedule a brake evaluation appt for Sunday at 2:30. So I did. I left work early to come in for the appt. the guy says, I can tell you what’s wrong with them, it’s cheap quality. Replace them or you won’t get rid of the squeaking. Didn’t look at them or anything. So I said fine, replace them. Sorry can’t do it today. SO WHY DID I EVEN TAKE TIME OFF WORK TO COME INTO THIS APPOINTMENT? What was the point of wasting my time? Amusement? I’m confused. Customer service is horrible. Don’t argue with me or make it not your problem. If an appointment is schedule, be prepared for it. Otherwise call the person and tell them not to come in.

Noticed a nail in my tire so I went to Mavis. I was taken care of as soon as possible, come to find out i had 3 nails in my tire, they were able to save the tire with just a patch!

As a ex-Mavis mechanic, I can say that I was highly disappointed in the service this tire shop has provided, I’ll keep it nice and simple for any new customers that will be reading this review, their main focus is selling you tires, they’ll tell you that your tires are ruined and is unfixable without taking 2 minutes of their time to look at the tires. Tried charging me $20 just to look at the inside my tires which takes 2 minutes.

Quick tire patch... super painless and easy. In out and done, plus didn’t cost an arm and a leg which is nice.

John was courteous and helpful, and would recommend having your car serviced there.

Amazing experience! Brought my mom’s car in for a tire repair on Saturday. They fixed within 40 minutes. It was a pleasure working with them.

Just to start, it is my first time using a tire repair service in the US. Back in France, in a similar situation, if I brought a tire in my ca trunk, it would be fixed and put back in the trunk and I would have to replace the spare wheel by the fixed one by myself. So got there to fix a tire and was expecting the same which was fine by me. They fixed it, exchanged it with the spare tire, put back the spare tire in its space, cleaned the trunk, put back the car lifting kit in its annoying dedicated space, charged me $20 and I was out in 30mn. So yeah, I guess I won t have to look anywhere else for any tire related thing now.

First, and last time ever going there, will definitely not be returning. I usually get my oil changes closer to home ( if not doing it on my own) but I had a job in the area and decided to drop off my car there for an oil change. After dropping off my car I was called back because they found a leak in my left axle. When I went back to the shop I was walked under the car and was shown everything but a leak. Being someone who is familiar with cars I knew that all of the damage I was shown was cosmetic from normal wear and didnt require repair.When I received another call that my car was done, I went to go pick it up. I picked up the car hadnt realize that the car was leaking oil, and by leaking oil, it was pouring out. Thankfully, I wasnt on the parkway, but after driving about 45 minutes, my engine warning lights came on and my engine shut off after giving an engine pressure warningI had to get it towed to my usual shop since the engine was emptied, which has so far run me upwards of $150 for reversing the damage from an oil change that was incredibly overpriced (at least by what Ive usually paid). Still waiting to hear back from my mechanic but its deeply disappointing that proper precautions werent taken.Next time Ill save myself the headache and do it myself.

Came in for a last minute oil change. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I felt at ease leaving my car with them. They educated me as far as what my car needed but without the sales pressure. I will return and recommend their services !

The gentleman at the counter was incredibly nice. Unfortunately thats where it ended for me. It took just under 4 hours to get an oil change done after I was told 45 minutes. I watched as the mechanic became frustrated dropping and tossing the plastic under carrige cover swearing repeatedly blaming the design of audi for the 4 hour oil change. He then proceeded to use his air tools to re secure the plastic under carriage on plastic fasteners. He walked away in frustration and began to work on another car instead. He tried to explain to me that the car that he left mine, mid oil change for needed attention as if he was some kind of surgeon being called for emergency surgery. That that car suddenly became more important... mid job... leaving me there for 4 hours. I cant say for certain on this part but the new oil in the clear plastic can that went back into my car was near brown. I very much doubt it was new synthetic oil, and I am all but sure that the plastic under carriage will not be as It was when I brought it in. Nice gentleman at the counter, but worst experience for an incredibly simple task Ive ever experienced. Theres plenty of other options. Avoid this place.

Only giving them 2/5 because they made up for their mistake by doing the correct job the second time. Their mistake was due to complete and utter negligence, nothing can excuse it, could’ve died because of it.

WARNING DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY NOR TIME HERE!!!!!!!First I was told it would take 2 hours and change my tire. So I leave for 2 and a half hours come back. My car wasnt done. Then I wait there for about 30 to 45 minutes. JUST FOR A TIRE. I dont mind waiting. Its just dont tell me 2 hours then I end up waiting almost 4. THATS NOT IT. SO I GO HOME (ON THE SAME BLOCK) AND PARKED MY CAR. I HAVENT DRIVEN SINCE. SO 4 DAYS LATER I COME OUT TO MY DRIVEWAY. MY TIRE IS FLAT AGAIN. I GO BACK TO Mavis Discount Tire 1610 Woodbridge Ave, Edison, NJ 08817. (On the same block). I was told its no my tire. Its my rim. It was my rim all along I never needed this $110 tire.SO I ASKED IF MY RIM IS BENT, WHY WOULD YOU PUT A NEW TIRE ON IT AND NOT TELL ME ITS MY RIM? BECAUSE I DIDNT NEED A NEW TIRE

Told me my two tires would be in Tuesday afternoon ‘no problem’. They didn’t get there until Friday late afternoon. So I had to take my truck in on Sunday. It took TWO and a HALF HOURS to get TWO tires put on. Then it was over $100 more than I was told. DO NOT GO HERE
