We are the current resident of one of their town-homes. From last 3 months we have been complaining about the centralized AC. For reasons unknown, The complaint gets closed every time I generate it. We spent our entire summer with centralized ACs NOT WORKING. The company gave us window ACs which werent effective. All the rain water used to come through the window, We asked several times the maintenance guy to take off the AC but at the end, we removed the window AC by our own. Maintenance guy says the management is poor, management says maintenance guys will come and fix the issue. They keep on blaming each other and tenant suffers!!!!!!! I pity on people who are visiting here to rent.

This company is only out to rip you off.. i dont know where they are getting their prices from but i know for a fact a basic 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment with no amenities SHOULD NOT cost 2000+ a month.. sounds like they got drug addicts setting their prices

Would not recommend. Very bad experience for my girlfriend. When she moved out of one of their properties, to move in with me, they held her security deposit for almost 6 months. Had to threaten legal action to finally get it returned.

Very arrogant customer service one could experience not responsive at all.

Horrible. The list is endless. These guys will rip you off, and never fix a single one of their issues. Would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT EVER CONSIDER THIS COMPANY OR TRUST THEM FOR ANYTHING. Be aware they manage many other properties that aren’t under their own name. Be sure these guys aren’t maintaining any place you look at!

Finding an apartment is easy finding an affordable clean apartment is a different story.

Horrible service by BestRentNJ. We have been calling their apartment offices for Woodbridge for a month but they never pickup the call. Nobody found in the rental office when visited. And once that a lady was found she was extremely rude to answer anything.

Cigarette smoke in the bedroom and management office dont care.I rented an apartment from them at Meridian Square, everything was perfect until we started getting cigarette smoke in the main bedroom from the bathroom because our downstairs neighbor smokes inside his bathroom and the management office dont care about the issue. Weve sent three letter and many phone calls. The maintenance guy came once and told theyll speak to the downstairs neighbor but nothing else happened and they wont even call us about the letters weve sent. We explained that we have a 5 month old baby who have gotten sick because of that and myself since Im allergic to cigarette smoke but still we dont have a response. We even told them were willing to relocate within the complex but still not a response. This issue is just getting worst because the smoke is seeping under the bathroom door ( we are not using that bathroom, is permanently closed) and even more when the heat is on which is absolutely necessary.When we went to rent everything was perfect, there was always someone to answers our questions, now NO ONE is coming forward not even to listen about the issue.The apartment is big and nice and even though the appliances are very old they would come and fix them when we complain but this is a very serious issue they are just ignoring and we just found out other families have moved out because they had this issue and were ignored as well.Now were looking for another place to live. Having to spend more money on deposits and fees because the lease is not due and move during winter with a baby, to me this is the worst place to rent from.Be Aware!!

Worst maintenance. I stayed earlier in south ridge woods which maintains by garden communities. No problem seen for 2 years. In 1 year in gill lane apartment saw more than 10. In addition to this cockroaches are always invited 😀.when there is any maintenance going on building they never inform. Please dont come and choose these apartments.

Worse apartment management team ever. I currently staying at Harbortown Terrace and I am trying to break my lease. I called the management team for a buy-out of my lease and they keep telling me to wait for a phone call. First I waited a week, no phone call. Second time, I waited 3 days, still no phone call. Now I was told to wait again. If you are reading this and planning to rent an apartment from them, my advice is please dont at all cost.

Today i am not happy. Middlesex management caused the loss of all my food items by not fixing my fridge in time. They provided another used fridge and its no longer working causing me to lose hundreds of dollars of replaced food again. I would not recommend renting from Best Rent. I am a disabled person who needs help with this. 😭😭😭😭

Worst appartment community is under their name: princeton terrace at west windsor. Bad experience

Maintenance? BestRentNJ never cares about it. Except rent these guys least bothered about tenents issues. If you call for service they never show up and on top of it they happy to disconnect your call. Speciality of the communities are you get 20 years old Central AC Unit and 15 years old Heating unit will be provided in the units which will never run as expected. On top of this if you are paying more PSE&G Bill because of their junk amenties they dont care because its not their money. These guys are very special in speading bugs all around NJ.

I dont like the idea, this apartment company is anti-pets... If you wanna rent with them and have a dog or cat you have to get rid off them.... The pets end it up abandoned on the streeth, in a animal shelter and dead.Its very sad this company at least like otther apartments company, allow pets but the tenant have to pay a small fee. Or even an extra security deposit, to have the pet.,, dogs or cats are some people companion,,

Ive lived here for 8 plus yrs never had an issue, but now for the past yr its been mouse after mouse, Just came back from our Honemoon we were away for 6days we opened the pantry and saw some spilt soil when I went to clean I discovered 5 mice I caught 2 of them 3 went under the fridge. Been waiting now over an hour for maintenance to show up Im furious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would like to give 0 star as they have very bad Maintenance and customer service dept. management does not care for any resident.what they care about is rent money.
