I have been a loyal member for 3 years at Soleil. I recently went into the Matawan location and a woman, Marie, I never seen before was probably the most helpful so far. She explained Red Light Therapy and tanning on another level to me, things I never knew before coming there over the past 3 years! She even explained all the ingredients in the lotions. Also, I had fine lines on my forehead and they are slowly going away after 2 months of red light! totally worth it!

Out of all the tanning places I’ve been to, this place gives the best experience. I have very sensitive skin and have never burned here. This is my favorite and ONLY tanning salon I would ever go too. Soleil is a super clean facility and all the employees are extremely friendly. I used to tan at a different salon and I’m so happy I switch to Soleil. The beds all give you a beautiful color and you can notice in any bed you pick. And there are always promotions going on, which is always a plus!

The quality of the beds are superb— I’ve never been so tan. I just moved to NJ about 2 months ago and Was looking for a tanning salon, it’s about 7 miles from me but it by far beats any of the tanning salons I’ve tried out. The staff is super nice & informative, and they really make sure to keep all of the rooms super clean. They even go through the trouble of giving you a towel on the bed with your own alcohol wipe if you wanted to clean something yourself. 10/10 would recommend for anyone who wants the bang for their buck, and a fun covid compliant atmosphere.

The best part of my day is here! So relaxing great women that work here that make you feel very comfortable and sweet great conversation. Never loved a tanning salon as much as I love this salon. They offer so many different equipment to use such as the red light room and all different beds and never had a better tan and spray tan anywhere else that I ever gone to before.

Salon is nice and clean, staff has always been super friendly. Spray tan results have been hit or miss though with some blotchy results and cancellation policy requires you drive all the way to their location and personally sign something which is super inconvenient and seems unnecessary in the age of technology.

Such an incredible experience. The staff was beyond helpful and informative especially for it being my first time. I loved my spray tan because it was natural and the color was matched perfect for my natural tints and hues. I‘be been coming here for the past 2 months. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Carrie. I use the Red Light Therapy bed almost everyday. Red light therapy has improved my skin, especially my wrinkles. I’m a senior citizen and friends have commented on how much younger I look.

I am not from NJ, I am actually from upstate NY- I am here on a 3-4 week business trip.Ive been in NJ for a week now and it hasnt been the greatest experience for me because the fast driving/traffic has been stressful, the residents havent been the most welcoming, and it has done nothing but rain every single day that Ive been here- Ive been pretty stressed out, homesick, lonely, anxiety filled and depressed lol! (I definitely miss home).I travel a lot for work- I am a medical records auditor, I go to different medical facilities daily so I get to explore different towns on a daily.However, I have felt no matter where I go in the surrounding areas of where Im staying here in NJ it hasnt been too pleasant nor welcoming.I must say; this has been probably one of the toughest states Ive ever had to work in. 😭Anyway...while sitting miserably in my hotel room having the homesick blues I started to think of things that I normally do back at home that usually help me feel happier, more at peace, and that helps rejuvenate my soul lol ... and a light bulb went off and I thought to myself self tanning, tanning makes me happy lol.Tanning has always helped has eased my stress and has helped me to relax a bit.I Googled nearby tanning salons and came across this salon and thought to give it a try.On my way there I was already preparing myself to walk into the lions den of more attitudes and catty demeanors- due to my horrible experiences so far in NJ.When I walked in to the salon it was LITERALLY the total opposite of everything I expected it to be!The energy in the salon was so calm, very welcoming, comfortable and super clean.The front desk employee (Gabby) was unbelievably helpful, resourceful, patient, understanding, knowledgeable, professional, and just all around extraordinary at her job- she made me feel like I was back home!I left the salon feeling less stressed out, happier, and feeling the most relaxed Ive felt in 7 days (that speaks volumes lol).-I am truly appreciative of Gabbys kindness, help, and patience. Hands down the most amazing salon I’ve come across, the prices are the best I have EVER come across as an avid Tanner I’ve been to many salons and this one by far exceeds all expectations I’ve been to two out of three of the locations I was pleased with both of them the owner maintains a salon above exceptional standard, I like how you walk into one location it has these nice blue walls it’s very fun laying airy the cleanliness is out of this world it’s very comforting going there because they are 100% going by all the guidelines but I can already tell the salon runs top-notch even without pandemic guidelines. I was pleased 100% with all of the beds I’ve tried even their lowest bed I had gotten a lot of color I’ve gotten so many compliments asking where I just got back from which I love because that means I’m really tan and that’s very important to me is to always look tan but natural sun kissed golden glow and that’s the result you will get here they have the best top-of-the-line beds, an amazing selection of lotions so five stars on beds inventory cleanliness now on to the staff the way I would describe the staff at the tanning salon is the definition of true customer service genuine sincere I went in there as a new customer they did not treat me like one they were extremely professional genuine personable I felt like I was talking to a friend and not like I was a business transaction by the second time I went in I was greeted by my first name they pay attention to every little detail their knowledge is out of this world I had no idea that Tanning in the low bed helps you build melanin which will get you tanner and I’ve been tanning for years and no one ever told me that until I came here Carrie is absolutely amazing she taught me so much in such a short amount of time I was mine blown she has a very bubbly personality you instantly get put in a good mood when you see her her knowledge is incredible and for someone who tan so much it’s very rare that I’m shocked or surprised or learn some thing new, and I like how they are quick and efficient but also professional and personable at the same time I know I already said that but I can’t express enough how they make you feel and they never make you feel rushed when you’re checking in or deciding on which bed you want to do and they give their honest opinion they won’t just put you in for the full-time if they think you can handle it they suggested starting time so this way you don’t burn and then gradually up your time as you go along I’m very happy I came across the salon and I’m looking forward to many more tanning sessions and if you have not tanned here you haven’t tanned at all, so if you are a Tanner I highly recommend you go here I’m 30 years old and I’ve been tanning since I was 16 or 17 and this is the best salon I’ve stumbled upon it was the best experience I’ve ever had anywhere and they now have a member for life. Their face tanner in the standup is adjustable so it doesn’t matter how tall you are your face to get a nice tan they have the top-of-the-line spray tan airbrush machine by Norvell you can’t even tell that you got a spray tan or airbrushed that’s how natural it is I am beyond satisfied and I wish I could give more stars then I’m allowed.

I have been tanning in several locations while in college and now that I’m back home I’ve been looking for something and they are the absolute best here! Danielle and all the girls have been really helping and making sure I have a great base tan before the wedding I am attending in January! Love them so much!

I love coming here to tan. The beds are always clean and the employees are always nice and helpful. I had a small issue in the beginning though. I bought a Groupon for a weeks tan but unfortunately the bed that I wanted was broken 5 out of the 7 days. Shawn called and emailed me regarding the situation and he came up with a solution. He was excellent in listening to the problem and fixing the issue. I give this place 5 stars and will recommend to anyone.

I’ve worked and managed tanning salons and this salon is doing everything right! The staff is friendly and the owner is amazing! The salon is very clean, which is important! They are up on the newest products and beds. They just got the new spray tan booth “norvell” the technology is incredible and you get amazing color after just one session! It’s a total game changer! Cancellation policy was not very clear (billing dates vs. Membership dates) at first. I have tried many different spray tans and self tanners, Soleil Tan was the best. I bought a Groupon just to try there spray tan and was very impressed. I never looked orange or blotchy, if you take care of the tan it can last up to 5 days. I was sprayed by two different girls and both did a great job. I will be purchasing more spray tans at his location in Edison. Just follow the instructions that are given to you from the girls and you will get a beautiful bronze tan.

Its clean, the beds are amazing. The girls know their product and the lotions..Mr. International are amazing. I was really light in color this whole summer, walked in to get tanned for my up coming wedding and the second time in the Solex bed, I was dark! No burning reaction either! Its my new favorite spot! We just might continue a all year round membership!

Staff is very friendly and the location is always clean and well maintained. They also have a great variety of tanning beds. I live about 20 minutes from this location, but it’s definitely the nicest tanning salon in the greater Piscataway/New Brunswick area.

The staff is always friendly and helpful - especially when letting you know what the current specials are. There are often some great ones! Oh, and you will always be greeted with a smile. The salon is completely spotless, never so much as a piece of paper left in the trash bins. Towels are always fluffed and fresh like they just came out of the dryer. The beds are amazing! I am a loyal fan of the Sungate but I’ve used the VIP bed as well as the Solarix and each of them helped me achieve the perfect tan I was looking for!
