Jordan L. was the sales rep. that came to my house for a quote to replace my 28 year old furnace and AC. He was very helpful and explained my options and the installation process. Justin P. and Mike C. were the installers. They arrived on time and were available to answer any questions I had during the installation. The source of our AC problem was identified in a timely manner. The needed replacement parts were obtained and were installed within 48 hours. This was satisfactory timing as this was not an emergency. The technician that troubleshot our AC unit and the technician that installed the replacement parts were knowledgeable and professional. Happily the replacement parts were covered by our warranty so we only paid for the installers labor. We have been a satisfied customer of Edison H&C for more than 25 years.

I had water coming from somewhere in my AC unit in my basement and needed service quickly as it was quite a bit of water. The technician, Eddie, that they sent was fabulous. He found the issue, repaired it and also recommended a few other things that will extend the life of my unit as well as, my HW heater. He took the time to explain things to me about my unit (I have a Carrier system with a build in air purifier and dehumidifier) and answered all my questions. I have always had a good experience with Edison Heating and Cooling. I have an annual maintenance contract and it is worth every penny.

Jose was beyond excellent! He was punctual, professional, friendly, and even fixed an issue we had that he did not come for originally. UPDATE - I was promptly contacted by someone in customer service and the issue was corrected. I received misinformation from the first representative I spoke with. The issue was resolved by transferring the remaining portion of my contract to my new home. My confidence has been restored in Edison Heating and Cooling. I look forward to working with them for many years of service in my new home.Very unfortunate experience with Edison Heating and Cooling. I would not recommend signing a contract with this company. I signed a contract in April and then decided to move. I scheduled my move in August. They do not provide any type of partial refund and will not transfer service to my new home even though it is in the same town. I was only given the option to gift the service to the new home owners. That is a waste of $300.

I had my entire HVAC system replaced including conversion from oil to gas furnace, central AC, zoning system, thermostats and upgrading return ducts. I called a few HVAC companies in my area in Parsippany, but no one provided me with a better quote or timely installation date than Edison HVAC. Jordan Lutz, their comfort advisor, did an amazing job taking all the measurements and answering my numerous questions. He spent more than an hour on his first visit and took extensive notes. Since I have a cape cod, I was thinking that I might have to have split system installed for upstairs, but Jordan assured me that he will upgrade the system and it will work fine for the entire house. And, exactly as he suggested, the AC kept the entire house comfortable this summer. I did not have to install window ACs for my upstairs bedrooms. The installation crew worked very hard for two entire days and got the job done very professionally. During my few calls to their office, the staff was always very helpful and courteous. Edison took care of everything for me: from applying and paying for the permits, removal of oil tanks and applying for utilities rebates. This is an amazing HVAC company. Would highly recommend to any future customers! Our Sales Rep (Dan) was extremely knowledgeable & personable, and did not try to hard sell us more than we needed to replace our old central air system. The installers (Eddie C., Kyle R. and Rob D.) were extremely polite and friendly, and very good at keeping disruption down to a minimum. They used drop cloths where needed in the high traffic areas, and when they left the job, all trash and mess was cleaned completely.
Adrian was very courteous and informative. His diagnostic report was clear and he delivered the repairs within the time he estimated. His approach to Health & Safety was welcome, especially with Covid 19. He wore a mask and booties indoors, which were well appreciated.

At the out set, Technician Mr. Joe from EH&C called me before 20 minutes of arrival which is great when window time is of 4 hours. The technician, Adrian, came because my ductless units had an error message that needed to be checked. Adrian was thorough, polite, and explained what needed to be done and when it would occur. This same technician had serviced our other air conditioning system in June, really thorough, clean working, professional. An asset to Edison Heat.
The technician, DJ, was excellent! He was on time, did the difficult repair work that was required, spent nearly 6 hours in 95 degree heat, and accomplished the job. And the cost was reasonable! I would recommend Edison HVAC and DJ without hesitation, and I will request that he service our units again should the need arise.
The service technician, Adrien, asked me to post a review and I am glad to. Edison H&C recently installed a new Carrier heat pump for us. The process from getting an estimate all the way through to seeing it installed went smoothly. I found it easy to work with Brian, the salesman, who patiently answered all my questions and dealt very fairly with me. The system has been working well but gave a worrisome error message two days after installation. I called for service, and the same day Adrien came (early might I add), listened patiently even though it was just a one-off error, checked condenser and thermostat very thoroughly, and adjusted what needed adjusting to bring the whole machine up to spec. Like his colleagues he was courteous and thorough. Its early days yet for saying how the system does over time, but the service from this company has been excellent.
Our technician Adrien was thorough and professional. He explained everything very clearly, and was patient with our questions. He added refrigerant to our system and added dye to trace any leaks going forward. The people in the office were also friendly and professional. We would definitely recommend this company.

Edison heating and cooling did my oil to gas conversion and I couldn’t be more happier with the entire experience. Very professional and polite. Dave N. and Dave L. are the nicest guys!! In 2 days they replaced the water heater, heating system, ran the gas line, and steel tube down the chimney. You would never have known they were here. When RJ came over to explain the process and price, I was very pleased especially after getting a quote from PSE&G that wasn’t so great. Edison does our annual maintenance of our ductless split system as well as our boiler. They do a great job and have a very professional crew. They will definitely be our first call when we are ready to install a central air system.

Edison installed our unit, humidifier, and thermostat a few years ago and did a great job. Office staff is always courteous and helpful on the phone. They came today for a routine service, and its all still purring like a kitten. Very nice, knowledgeable, clean and efficient technicians. No complaints here.Our water heater is in need of replacement soon and well be calling them for that too.

I was having issues with my heating system just shutting down randomly for 2 months in winter. I thought it was a fluke or something I was doing. In the middle of the night my family and I would wake up freezing. It became worrisome and I would stay up some nights to make sure my babies were warm when it happened. Adrian came and adjusted a few things and it was all fixed. My family was able to sleep warm and I finally got a good night sleep knowing they were warm. Adrian was so professional and very knowledgeable. Thanks to him we were toasty warm and very happy and lucky. Thank you Adrian keep up the great work.
Jose from Edison HVAC was prompt to perform the seasonal maintenance. He was professional and friendly and got right to work. What I liked best was that he gave me a courtesy call about 20 minutes before he was going to arrive, which was very helpful with my schedule.
Our A/C stopped working at around noon on 6/28. We had it serviced on Friday 6/18 by Jory and it worked for ten days. Monday I called Edison and got a service window of 5-9pm. No one came and at 10pm I called the answering service. They got in touch with the technician on call, Quinn, and he called us at 10:15. He came to our house at 10:30 and very quickly found we needed a new fan motor immediately. Quinn put in his order and the parts were available the next day. We got an early am appointment on Wednesday and Quinn replaced the parts and the a/c is working great now. Quinn was very respectful of our inconvience and was happy that he could get us going so soon. Thank you, Quinn.

I had gotten my unit repaired on June 18th, setting up appointments and everything was fine. The tech that came out seemed knowledgeable and friendly and finished in a timely manner. The problem is that while being billed I was charged twice. Thats fine I understand accidents do happen. I did contact them as soon as I noticed and after almost a week of back and forth and then having to send a copy of my statement to prove it I was told I would be receiving a check in the mail. A month later I have yet to receive anything and no contact or apologies about this inconvenience. For this Im not sure I would contact them again.

He quickly diagnosed, repaired my ac unit and explained in details what the error codes meant and what caused them. Edison HVAC is now my go-to source. I would definitely recommend them.
I sign contract with them for installation of generator or my home and when i sign contract with them i went over with them where we want to install the generator in the house. sales person told me that it fine. we have created fence area in side of our house where we keep all the HVAC equipments. I been doing business with them since 2013 and this is the first time I have issue. i complained to sales person and he get back to me after two and half weeks and then he told me that he will discuss with his installation team and he never get back to me I have to call almost five time to get in touch with someone. then their installation manager David call me and putting all blame on us. he told me that we cannot install the generator where you want and i ask him that why you guys never told me even the day of installation or when you submit documents for pulling the permit. he said talk with you sales person. i call their customer service department ask for them to talk with owner Mike and he is the same as the his installation manager. so i have no option but calling the NJ state attorney general and file complaint against them. they ruin whole my back yard. this generator is middle of our new proposed back yard patio. very bad service.

I had Ecliffe and Jason K install a condenser and Air Handler recently. They had to spend most of a 90-plus degree day working in an unventilated attic. They didnt complain at all, they stayed happy the whole day, and made sure I knew everything I needed to know about my new AC unit.

Edison HVAV has installed my AC last year in summer which came with 5 yrs maintenance plan. Jose Fuentes (technician from Edison HVAC) arrived yesterday within the given window and took his time to inspect all parts, coolant etc. At the end he walked me through all line items in the inspection report with proper explanations wherever needed. He was very professional and cordial. Im very happy with the service and overall experience so far with Edison HVAC and Jose as well.

My technician, Jesse Motola, performed my seasonal maintenance check on my AC. Professional and clear in his evaluation. He went the extra mile to quickly look at my furnace that had lapsed a seasonal check. There was no pressure for needless repairs and component replacement. Just gave his best evaluation of the situation which was greatly appreciated.
The gentleman that was here was very courteous and explained the process of my thermostat in detail. He was very knowledgeable In fact the young lady who made the appointment for me also was a big help in getting my heat up and running until help came. I have dealt with Edison Heating and Air for 20 or so years and have always been satisfied with their service.
Edison HVAC installed the new Carrier unit in my home in early June. The Carrier is kind pricy, but its so quiet and efficient. Kyle and Eddy team did a great job. In order to bring down the old air handler, I am grateful they were very careful cutting the intake vent to make it larger. The guys were polite and hardworking. No lunch break. Would use them again for HVAC related matters.

THIS PLACE LITERALLY RIPPED ME OFF. I began to give this place 3 stars just for the technician because he was nice at first, but Im not satisfied with what I was charged for at all. Had this company come out for a tune up of my old system. First time since we have purchased the home (2 years). He came checked so far only issue is replacing filter which they asked if I want but Ofcourse for an additional fee. I declined. Next step was him plugging into system. Says all my levels are great nothing needs to be added or anything. Gets up and is ready to go and charge me $154 plus tax for a non existent tune up. YOU GUYS SHOULD NOT BE CHARGING ANYONE $154 plus tax when a full tune up was not preformed. So I called the company Ofcourse and spoke to the service department. The lady who works back there tells me that, that is all that is included in a tune up and that, that was the tune up all though nothing was done. Only inspected. I asked about the cleaning and stuff they mention in the description on their site she tells me thats all for additional fee. YOU HAVE TO BE F***ing KIDDING ME. and when I told her I was not satisfied and would not use the company anymore she simply said OK. No resolution no nothing. SO BEWARE because never again will I use this company. You should have a fee for inspection only. Not full service price when the full service was not provided. Just to add onto this review right before the technician left and after charging me I was able to review the full report of his work on my unit. I asked him about the cleaning which he put on my report that he supposedly did. He then said yes I can clean it and proceeded to clean my unit but if I would not have mentioned anything he would have simply left. A lot of what was put into my report was falsified. And Megan from the service department needs a talking to because her customer service skills are weak. You guys need to explain on your page exactly what is included in the tune up because its all BS. Megan herself tried to tell us that the cleaning of the unit is just removing debris from around it! I am mind blown by this place and not in a good way.

I decided to call Edison Heating & Cooling in Edison I am extremely pleased I did.From the pleasant receptionist who answered the phone call, the first technician who checked old unit to the installation of new unit they may the process so easy. All my concerns and questions were answered and explained thoroughly through out the process.The technicians arrived on time and immediately began to remove the old unit and followed with installing the new unit. I observed they work well as a team and interacted professionally and helped each other to complete the job at the estimated time Because they work well as a team they made a difficult job appear easy and enjoyable .Before leaving the technician explained how to use the thermostat and checked every vent to make sure cold air was blowing out. Trust worthy business.I had an issue with my upstair AC that won’t turn on. Called to schedule a technician visit and like everywhere else in the middle of summer, it wasn’t easy to get an appointment same day or next day. Angie at Edison HVAC was super helpful in telling what I needed to check (I.e breaker, emergency breaker, resetting thermostat with new battery, and filter) and thankfully it worked. I didn’t need the appointment this time but if I ever need a reliable and trust worthy HVAC company - I’ll be calling them.

I used Edison to install a ducted ductless system, and the experience from begining to end was very pleasant. We did a few consults for estimates and Edision had a high quality system, including install and electrical for a very competitive price.The comfort consultant Brian was very detailed during the free inhome consultation, he explained everything in detail including the process and time line for installation.The team that did the installation was excellent and were very pleasant, professional and informative everystep of the way. they esitimated 3 day for the install and they complted it in 2. They cleaned up after themselves, actually their process to put in the vents was genious to limit dust and debris from getting into the living areas.The work done we could immediately tell was quality, which was confirmed by the final permit inspections for our town, they said the work was well done and they did not cut corners. Quamir did an absolutely super job. We had been using Air Group, and in all the years they serviced our furnace and AC, no one ever bothered to clean and service the condenser coil or check the electrical components within. Quamir, after completing a thorough servicing of the furnace, he went to check the condenser unit immediately noticed the build up of debris around the unit and in the cooling fins.

So when they told me that they where no longer servicing our unit, I panicked and behaved emotionally. We have been very overwhelmed finically with him unable to work. His kidneys are failing And has to spend 3 days a week getting dialysis and he lost his leg a little while back and has a prosthetic on his leg. They did honor there contract and we where not charged because it had been under a year. I’m not sure what happen, but My husband was misunderstood, and they thought we new that the tenants where messing with the unit. But was no proof of that, the only reason he thought that was because of the nature of the problem last year when they came, the technician mentioned to us that it was an odd puncture. My husband has been very ill, and even his personality has been effected. They Doctors in the hospital even said he was acting extremely paranoid for no Reason. At one point he before they started the dialysis he was experiencing like a temporary dementia. And I am sure if he did say anything, he is often confused and not really sure what is going on. When I wrote the original review I was just upset and very overwhelmed, any other time we had used the company they had been accommodating and fair, with my husbands sickness and not working, I was just overwhelmed.
Edi Shkembi was the technician that visited my home and did maintenance on my HVAC system. Very thorough, attentive, and timely. Greatly appreciated his shared knowledge on the maintenance of my system.

100% Satisfied! The technician arrived on time, was very courteous/thoughtful, wore booties, and maintained a clean working environment ie most professional. He worked efficiently, and appeared very committed to satisfy my needs concerning a heating issue, including replacing a blower motor for the flue. In short, a great credit to Edison H & C.........will ask for him again this Summer for seasonal maintenance!!Glenn
Quamir was great! He was on-time, friendly, took time to explain the issue, and spent the extra time to address the issue when at first it was not working. Edison is lucky to have him and glad I have them for my Maintenance Contract.

David and Jesse arrived on time and ended up staying with us from 8 am to 4 pm on a Friday. They found a ton of issues that two other HVAC repair companies could not fix, and actually had made even more difficult to fix which David and Jesse were able to do. We have 3 carrier infinity systems which require a special technical certificate to work on, and unlike our prior experience with Binsky services who did NOT know what they were doing, Jesse and David spent hours identifying every valve, switch and vent to make sure we were taken care of. They had the necessary parts to do the job and didnt leave until the full service was complete. I appreciate their service and work and will definitely be calling edison HVAC for all of our heating and cooling needs.
Was impress with Jory as I had previous companies that came out with no results. Jory was very knowledgeable & repaired my heating system.
