I had been looking for a dentist and I was referred by a relative to Palm Valley. I am happy that I decided to schedule an appointment. I felt very comfortable and informed. I have a plan to take care off and upkeep my dental health. Overall, if you’re looking for a dentist, this is the place! Come, you’ll be in good hands!

Wonderful dentist. Great staff. They make you feel so comfortable and at ease. It is a scary thing getting your teeth worked on, but if getting dental work could be pleasant Dr. Trevino makes it so. This is the best place I have ever been to, and I recommend Palm Valley Dental to anyone who needs a dentist. Even after so many months have past Im still super happy with my outcome. Dr. Trevino and Dr. Torres are a great team and their staff is super friendly. I came to their office for a second opinion and never looked back. We had recently moved here and the first dentist we found tried selling me on unnecessary procedures for both of my children as well as multiple unnecessary fillings. I explained this to their staff when scheduling my appointment and they were super helpful and scheduled us an appointment ASAP! Dr. Trevino was very thorough in her first visit with my children and showed genuine concern in treating my children. Needless to say, my children did not need half of the treatment this other dentist was trying to sell us and Dr. Trevino’s treatment plan was much more conservative. Both Dr. Trevino and Dr. Torres treat my children like patients and speak to them directly not only about their dental care but also about their interests and likes. I do not live in Edinburg but am happy to drive in from Mission so that my children have positive and enjoyable experiences in a dental office.

I’m so glad I found Dr. Catherine Trevino. She is personable and provides you with the attention every patient deserves. Her staff is also another group that requires recognition.. they’re excellent!!

This place was awesome 10 star 🌠 for cleannessEvery step explanation no surprises. The staff makes you fell extra welcome and comfortable. They are very well respectful and understanding. I was surprised by there friendliness. It seamed genuine that they love there work unlike other doctor office staff that feel they need to be there and this was a Friday afternoon when everyone wants to go home. I went in about a week ago for a standard filling and cleaning. I knew that the tooth I needed the filling for had a pretty huge cavity, so I assumed that he would fill that cavity. He also said my teeth looked really good and that I didn’t have any more cavities. Three days later, the tooth was bothering me a little, so I checked the tooth with my little mirror, and noticed that the huge cavity was still there!! I also saw that my upper back tooth ALSO had a huge cavity which he didn’t mention. I called the following morning and told them the issue, and they said I could go in immediately. The dentist says, “Oh those aren’t cavities. They’re teeth stains.” I was shocked. I told him that I knew I wasn’t a dentist, but I was pretty damn sure that those were cavities. He says nope! They’re teeth stains. Refusing to accept this, I scheduled an appointment with another dentist for a second opinion. Turns out I was correct! Not only did I have two HUGE cavities, but I had a total of 7 cavities!!! I am so upset and angry. The dentist at Palm Valley is very nice and sweet and the staff is helpful. BUT I am extremely disappointed with their services. I know my teeth better than anyone and when teeth are black or brown with obvious signs of erosion, it is extremely hard to accept that they are just “stains”. You will always know your body better than anyone else, so whenever you don’t feel like what you’re being told is correct, you have every right to question it and seek a second opinion.

Great visit with a great team that just takes care of your teeth. Everyone there was very kind and fun to talk to. The wait was not long. Ive been to a lot of RGV dentist that try to push services on you that are not covered by insurances, or minimally covered. That always seemed like a revenue generating strategy. This team is very professional.

My experience with Palm Valley Dental & Orthodontics was amazing. I had questions and all where addressed in a high professional manner. The office was very friendly greeted me with a smile and answered my billing questions. Both Dentist are absolutely superb. They have a way to make you feel comfortable. I know a dentist office “comfortable” but it is true. You need to give them a chance and believe me you won’t regret it. My family are thankful for there expertise and care they provide. Today the doctor called just to do a follow up on the procedure and ask how if I felt any discomfort or had any questions. This is why I took the time to right this review. If any one reading this and had a bad experience with other dentist give Palm Valley a call they will make you smile!!!!

I truly recommend this dentist to everyone. They are very warm and welcoming, and make sure you’re comfortable the whole time you’re there. They’re very gentle, and will explain what they’re going to do before doing anything to you.

First visit today, Everyone was so nice! I havent been to a dentist in sooo long and I didnt feel judged for my teeth. They educated me on why treatments were needed and gave me price breakdowns before any work was done. Would recommend all of my friends and family.

My husband Jakob has gotten teeth filled and pulled here. They have done an amazing job! They also set Jakob up with a great orthodontist to start his journey with straight teeth and a healthy bite. 100% recommend. The staff is wonderful and do great work.

I havent been to the dentist for years due to feeling nervous and feeling like i wasnt going to be able to afford to fix my teeth. First visit at palm valley dental and at first i was nervous but they really make you feel cared for and treat you so well that my first visit changed my mind about visiting the dentist. They answered all my questions and concerns and they made a plan for me to get back on track with my dental work. Best dentist office i have ever visited and i highly recommend them to anyone needing work done. Hope this encourages others to visit!!!

My 4 year old loves going to get her dental checkups at Palm Valley Dental. From the moment we walked into the office we were greeted, and felt welcomed. The staff was kind and informative when asked questions. The nurse made it fun for my daughter to take her teeth x-rays. The dentist took her time to explain what she was going to do, and addressed concerns. We have been there twice, and both times my daughter had a great experience. Thank You to the staff and dentist for making my daughters dentist visit educational. She was excited to be there, and enjoyed her experience.

My periodontist sent me here. Then they referred me to another. I didn’t like the reviews of the other periodontist and kindly asked to send my results to my first choice periodontist. They never called me back nor answer my periodontist calls to get my results. I had to go through everything all over again because they didn’t want to work with my periodontist. Be careful and ask questions! So you don’t waste your time and money.

Decided to try this office for my daughter and I after 2 yrs away. Dr Catherine was EXTREMELY detailed and informative. In all my years never had I had a dentist explain so much about my teeth. She not only listened to the issues but gave the solutions and reasons as to why. It takes a special dentist to explain that patiently to the patient without judgment as to why they switched or why they havent returned. Finding a dentist that geniually cares is hard. Dr Catherine showed that during our visit. Thank you for easing my fears, and calming my nerves. I look forward to my future and my childrens future dental work.

I have a great fear of all dentist offices. I admit, walking into an office gives me palpitations and extreme anxiety. Today I had an appointment with Palm Valley Dental and was instantly put at ease. The front office staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The technician was fantastic, the hygienist was awesome and the Dentist was attentive and listened to what I wanted to be done and honest about my options, costs, etc.I highly recommend them.

Almost my whole family goes here and we all love Dr. Trevino and Dr. Torres! Embarrassingly, it was my first time at dentist in a while and they made me feel so welcomed with no judgement at all. The staff was so friendly and attentive. They kept reassuring me how they would take care of me and help me regain my confidence.

It was my first visit and they took me inside pretty quickly! just with that I was pretty impressed, cause Ive always heard from others about log wait times theyve experienced at other clinics in the rgv area, so kuddos to front desk. Then all the staff that attended me from the dental assistant, to dentist to hygienist were very cordial and addressed every single one of my questions and I felt very at ease. even had a minute for small talk.
