Always great service. I love their app. Its great for paying your bills. Checking when the next trash run is being made. Updates if their going to late due holidays. You can set up notifications.
Im paying for 2 trash cans and they took one. But Im still paying for the second one. Ive called and called but they refuse to contact me back. Ridiculous business
I called to cancel my services two months ago and they are refusing to pickup their trash cans. All they keep saying is that it has been scheduled to be picked up, that it’s a separate company that picks them up. They claim I have an outstanding balance but I have repeatedly sent them proof that I should not have a balance but there office staff is completely incompetent and the management staff is no where to be found. Since there office has been closed I have yet to be able to speak to any type of management for this location. If you can find a different service please do so save yourself the headache of dealing with this company.
He is always on schedule (11ish) and is very polite. One time, I had completely forgotten to take our cans out. He waited for us to pull them out. He didnt have to, but he did. Another time, my dad was home alone, and had taken the cans out, but didnt place them on the road. Insead, he left them on the curb. Our server still picked up our garbage. We try to always have them out timrly, and the right way. But those two times. He couldve just driven by, but he didnt♡
I called to cancel my service because the city of Edinburg reached out to me and told me I couldnt have service with Waste Connections in my area because this was their territory. I explained the situation and they were very understanding and went ahead and cancelled my service even though I had a 2 year contract...or so I thought. October came around, the trash bin was still there and they were charging me for another month. I called to ask them what was going on and they said yes, my service was cancelled and that they would pick up the bin by the end of the month. November came by and the bin was still there and they were again charging me for another month. I called again, they said I needed to talk to someone else but that person wasnt there so they were going to call me back...they never called. I have a busy life just like anyone else, so I forget things from time to time and I didnt call them back. December came by and the bin was still there and they were again charging me for another month. I called and they told me they had no record of me ever calling in or cancelling which was insane because I had obviously been calling. They asked me who I spoke to, but I told them I didnt know since I didnt think it was relevant to keep track of that. I once again told them the story of what had happened, they said it didnt matter, I was under contract...long story short after arguing for a bit with Ana and Nadia (I think), they said my service was finally cancelled. Yes, ridiculous. It might not even be the end of it but Ill make sure to give them a call at the end of December to make sure they pick up the trash bin.My advice, avoid them at all costs. If you have no choice, when an issue comes up, and it will, make sure to keep a detailed log of who you spoke to, date, time, and what was said because theyll just tell you what you want to hear to get rid of you and then do nothing.
Trash was supposed to be picked up Monday. I contacted the city 3 times. Each time I was told Waste Connections would be out, and by the latest, 7pm. It is Wednsday, nearly 5:30pm, and my overfilled garbage can is sitting outside. This is downright ridiculous.
A service that expects you to accommodate them, & compensate their inadequacies. They show up within a 36 hour window. They are unapologetic & overpriced. I didnt think anything could be worse than All Valley Waste. But Waste Connections has brought an even lower standard of service to the Rio Grande Valley.. We didnt imagine that was possible, since this is the most uncivilized place to do business in the country.
I started service with them since April and they say I live in the City of Monte Alto.Monte Alto is not a city.Ive told them countless times.Theyre like call Edcouch since you belong to them (78538) my zip code.So Ive done this. I also contacted the county and the People at Hidalgo County Waste Management and spoke to Juanita she was amazing. She gave me her # and advised me to get them to call her directly. Juanita says you all (Monte Alto)belong to the county.So I contact Waste Connection and gave them this information.But I still get my trash can removed and still advised that I belong to the City of Monte Alto.According to them, no documentation that I called them and gave them this information but there is documentation that Monte Alto is a City.I give upLooking for new waste collection for the so called City Of Monte AltoWhat a waste of a companyNo call backs ever
IF THEY HAD A ZERO I WOULD DEFINITELY GIVE IT!!!!!! THIS COMPANY IS DEFINITELY NOT WORTH WASTING YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON!!! CUSTOMER SEVICE SUCKS!!! ANA IS VERY RUDE AS WELL AS ALL OF THEIR STAFF!!! TRASH NEVER GETS PICKED UP ON TIME AND WHEN YOU CALL TO ASK WHY, THEY AUTOMATICALLY ACCUSE YOU OF NOT HAVING THE TRASH OUT ON TIME ETC. INSTEAD OF GIVING GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LOOKING INTO THE PROBLEM! THEY WANT AN EXACT TIME THAT THE TRASH CAN WAS OUT. CALLED CORPORATE SEVERAL TIMES AND (MIGHT I ADD... CORPORATE OFFICES CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT) THEY ARE QUICK TO FOLLOW THEIR CONTRACT WHEN THE TRASH IS OVERFLOWING OR NOT OUT AS THEY SAY BUY YET THEY NEVER FOLLOW THEIR OWN CONTRACT WHEN IT COMES TO PICKING UP ON TIME OR TAKING PAYMENTS!!!!!! SWITCHING COMPANIES ASAP!!!!!! IM SURPRISED THEYRE STILL IN BUSINESS WITH ALL THE BAD REVIEWS. REPORTING THEM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU! DISGUSTED WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

My trash day is Thursday. For the past 10 months, I have to call on Friday to ask if they will be picking up my trash. The woman who answers asks for my address, tells me the Supervisor knows that there was and issue and when I ask to speak to the Supervisor, they tell me they arent in the office. Rinse repeat everyweek.

They started off great then stopped responding to requests to pick up trash. If it was to muddy or wet theyd leave extra containers and never pick any up. We have 4 sitting here when we only requested two because every time it was to muddy theyd say theyd leave it and be back in a day to pick up the other..never happens. Finally got their attention by not paying and waiting for them to call us, and when I told them why after always paying early or right on time they dont seem to care. I have now paid the past due and they want us to pay extra to come pick up their containers now! Terrible customer service!
I am very pleased with the people and services at Waist connections.Anytime Ive had a problem they have solve it whatever it is .From the office to the drivers and field service.The employees have been courteous and professional. Thank you(Owner Countryside RV)
This is the worst service that a company could ever provide, always behind on picking up and never on the day of, oh! But very punctual to take your money direct from your account when its time to get paid!!! Disgusted and disappointed with this company, I have no trash bin available to put trash in because it is late being picked up again like every week! Ive called around to switch to another company but they all tell me that they only do commercial contracts. Does anyone know of another?
Really bad service. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. They never come to pick up the trash the day they say they are. The dogs throw the trash because they never come & I have to be picking it up! Really don’t waist ur money with them not worth it!!!!!
Terrible service. We have used them for years at Valley Gateway RV Park. The past few months we have been missed at least one pickup per week. The containers are in need of repair. While in the Valley last week I went and talked to Robert, in the office. He said that he would put in for new containers and work on the service. This week, missed one pickup, and no new containers. Telephone help is rude. Will be looking for another provider.
If there were a no star I would use it instead.. their service is the worst. And their customer service representatives are very cocky. Theres no need to deal with them anymore if there are two other companies that service my area. For the past couple of weeks trash has not picked because they say that when it rains, trucks can get stuck where they turn. Yet the other two companies have never had that happened to them. Their service is better and cheaper.
I have had service with them for over 3 years & was very pleased with their pick up. Very punctual, holiday or no holiday, trash was picked up. Came a time that the bin fell in the truck when taking the trash & 3 weeks past & no trash bin for my trash. Kept telling me that they were backed up on delivery schedules. So unfortunately, I had to cancel my service.
One star is excessive. They have horrible service. Our trash has been overflowing for over two weeks and their excuse is slack of trucks. They deserve ZERO stars. Don’t waste your money or time.
I cant give ZERO stars. DO NOT get service here. They pick up the trash whatever day/time they feel like. Their customer service is at a -100. There are no supervisors/directors. So basically youre screwed. They will do nothing for their paying customers. Switching services today!!
Dont ever get service with this company!! Have had them for two years, they have missed picking up my trash by couple of days but this time missed it by a whole week!!! Not only mine but my whole neighborhood. I called on Tuesday spoke to someone asked if they hadnt been by Friday, my response uh no, said they put a tag and would be out that same day that it runs until 6 and they were behind on routes but would come by.It is now Wednesday so I am guessing they just put it for Thursday my regular day. I am now changing companies.
There is always late pick ups I always pay my bill on time and this is what we get my trash was supposed to have been picked up on Thursdays we are Tuesday and it’s still hasn’t been picked up I call the office and am put on hold for ever I even tried going through every extension to get to someone to give answers but even that doesn’t work no one answers the phone does this waste company still operate ? This is the worst company EVER!!!Im basically forced to be with them because changing to another company is more expensive!!!... DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT GET WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!. They are never on time ! The drivers are rude and so are the ladies who answer the phones.....they didnt pick up my trash one day so I called and she said my trash was overflowing thats why... Hmmmmm lies! My trash cans are picked up with barely any trash so how is that possible? These people are so quick to take ur money and dgaf if they are on time or not! Ive waited 4 days after the date they were supposed to pick up my trash just so it could get picked up!!!

Hate that this staff/office doesnt follow PRISM. SLOW SERVICE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE OVER THE PHONE SUCKS. THE RECEPTIONIST IS RUDE AND LEAVES YOU ON HOLD FOR MORE THAN MINUTES. I have to hang up and call again, I get that she may have customers with her but she answers and talks extremely fast just to put you on hold. Didnt even understand until I called the third time. maybe it doesnt help that they are so far away from the city that one cares to follow PRISM since no one will check on them.
Have been waiting for our trash to get picked up since Jan. 2 its already Jan. 11 apparently trucks are running a LITTLE behind.. they where able to pick up the trash a street away from mine but cant come down my street...
Worst service. I have had service since I bought my home in April. They are 3 days late with pick up once each month without fail. I call each time they miss and they lie and string you along say the are running late but will be there by 6:00pm. LIES!! 3 days later....
Very poor service have to call every week for trash to be picked up, call customer service the rep.very rude I mean very Rude, she told me it was up to her to send the truck back she never does so have 2 weeks trash pilling up .she cancelled my contract because I call every week to complain, told her I wanted to talk to the corporate office she refused to give me the number and she hung up, I dont think its fair to us the customer!! I have 4 family members and myself who ALWAYS have to wait around for them to pick up the trash. They call and say they are running late on their routes and ask we leave the bins out in the street, they never show. I call and complain and ALWAYS the same excuse..their trucks are being maintenanced,etc. We have to be considerate and understand ohhhh but if we were to call and ask to be considerate and understanding on a late payment they WONT work with you. BAD BAD SERVICE. Waste Connection you can thank your service and kiss 5 customers GOODBYE.
I’ve had them for years n never have I had an issue with them til now .. Customer even with pictures is always wrong n driver is always right... it’s up to him if he feels comfortable enough to pick up ur trash.. very disappointed in this “corporation”
Ive had service with this company over the past 5 years. For the past 5 or 6 months the service has been horrible from late picks to customer service when calling the office. Every week we call because our trash is not being picked up on our serivce contract day. Its always a different excuse from new driver to weather delay to route of driver is long on our collection day. Please DO NOT use this company. I dont know what recent changes they have done to thier company but I will be dropping the service ASAP. I know they probably dont care losing one customer. But business is business and I will take my money to another place! Please I urge you to think twice before using this company for residential waste collection. Horrible customer service!
This company is horrible, every couple of weeks we go 2 weeks without the trash being picked up. Our pickup day is Thursday, they call saying they won’t be able to pick up till Friday and here we are Tuesday with no pickup. This happens way too often. I will be reporting to BBB
They never pick up in time. My trash is scheduled to be picked up on Thursdays and its Monday and they havent come by. They also have really bad customer service.
Worst Service. I have less than a year with them and have 2 trash containers. They dont pick up the trash it has happened about 8 times already. So i have to pay extra for someone with a truck to come and take both containers to the trash deposit.
Dont bother, no one will get back to you - so much for online service request. Customer service was also of no help.

When I call they take forever to answer and in one year period they raised my payment two times and I tried to cancel my service but they said my contract had aromatically renew so I had to wait or pay $150 terrible company

Terrible terrible service!! Payments online take days to kick in and because of that makes trashcan late for pick up. They have no routine of when to pick up, they always go at whatever time they want And also sometimes skip days. They

They do not have hours to pick up the garbage, they are not punctual and on Thanksgiving Thursday it does not happen either and the garbage is full. And your receipt goes up without explanations it is supposed that it was $ 20 the charge and month by month it goes up $ 1 dollar and cents until you reach $ 30 or more
They deserve less than one star, it is a terrible service, the days that they have to come do not come because the truck is late, even if you call they tell you that they will come later and they do not come. 👎👎
