This is a great family business very professional.We showed up at the shop around 8:30 a.m. to get brakes on the trailer two axles and grease job on truck and trailer. We didnt have an appointment by 10:30 a.m. they were finish. We was able to make our pickup 4 hours ahead of pickup time . Great work US 281 Truck and Trailer service. I called George for an injector problem on Volvo engine - He could not get the truck in neither Friday or Saturday but he acknowledged that Monday it is possible- After a couple hours I called back and all of a sudden was booked for 2 weeks- I do not understand all the positive reviews and the misleading story about working on a Volvo engine- It`s better to say the truth- you do not know how to work on Volvo and then nobody loses its time. Another fake review shop with sketchy people.

The five star reviews are probably from the the staff or people who have not even made contact with this llc company or shop, shade tree truck shop is better said.in my opinion, the sellers need to be educated in professionalism and research prices on the trucks or equipment they sell. This place is as big rip off and made for people who dont know what they are buying they can get taken advantage of as a customer. If your buying here do research, I guarantee you that you will find a better deal and better equipment for your dollar.

Lucky enough to find this place when my power divider went out on the way to Brownsville. Dropped my trailer and pulled into the shop and they started working working on my truck in minutes. Ordered a rebuilt differential and the part came in the late the next day. Everything worked out great and I was on my way. Great work at a good price.

They are a very good and reliable shop, Jorge Lopez and his team are one of the best mechanic shops in the valley . Jorge has stretched 2 of my Peterbilt’s and does very clean work . Highly recommend them !

Brought trailer in for a fuel tank replacement and 5 cross members which i provided the parts thank god or i would have been killed with their up charge, they are extremely overpriced. work was performed in one day and got charged over 1k for labor. I think they are seriously overpriced. but if money is not a concern i would recommend. basically would have been cheaper at the dealer.

Truck had an oil leak, power steering leak, and a coolant leak. They got me in within an hour of calling. Fixed what was important, and I was back on the road. Price was good, people were great. I dont speak Spanish so I couldnt communicate with the mechanic. But the boss man and his daughter did a great job of translating and informing me of what they found will stop here if ever in the area again. Thanks a million.Baker

US 281 is the best diesel shop here in the valley. They have the best customer service, pricing, and do the best work. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a reliable diesel shop.

I was in Donna Texas when my water pump started leaking. Called several shops and either they couldnt get me in or wanted to charge an outrages amount of money. I found US 281 on the internet and gave them a call. It was close to closing time but they listened to my problem and said if i woould be there first thing in the morning they would get me right in. I showed up at 730 and true to their word they got me in and started on my truck. Everyone was very nice and professional! Jorge was awesome! They did a good job and charged me a very reasonable labor rate! If I ever need anything done in the Texas valley agwin I will be going back to US 281! Keep up the awesome work!

Watch out this place the services they did on my trailer was failure on abs they don’t have computer to check the problem at first they working by guess then charge you heavy labor I still have the same problem on my abs when I leave the shop don’t look the nice comments in the review like I did they over charged me $700

We are Winter Texans. When it was time to return home this spring, we started our motorhome and threw a belt. We called US 281 Truck and Trailer Services LLC and Mario came out to our campground and checked it over and diagnosed our problem(s). He felt it would be best if it went to the shop for the work. He arranged towing for us and got it to his shop where we were greeted by him and his warm and professional family and staff. The work was done well and we were repaired and on our way later the same day. While breaking down is never a good thing they made it as pleasant and speedy as possible for us.
