Horrible experience, this place advertises fade outside, BEWARE FOLKS, my son and I came for some haircuts, I thought I would have to walk out bald but luckily I coached the kid on making necessary adjustments so I wouldn’t have to take all my hair off, the back of my sons head was all messed up and the guy cutting his hair kept making excuses saying that my sons hair was too thin, I’ve never had issues in real barber shops before, called back to speak the manager Ruby and I could hear in your voice that she was bothered I was complaining hah, I requested my money back and she said no, she wanted to fix my sons hair, if it had just been one of us that they managed to mess up on I would’ve taken the offer but both of us, I simply wanted the refund from my sons hair and she chose to get upset and deny the refund a second time, thus, leading to this review, barbers lack experience and manager has no sense of customer satisfaction, I got home and was about to fix my sons hair myself, maybe I should open and shop next door to them... again folks BEWARE don’t waste your money or time here!

Got a great haircut, and the ladies there were very nice and clean. Had a great conversation with them, and they made me feel comfortable while I got my hair cut!

Had a good time with my wife. Even though there was only one stylist, it didnt seem like a long wait. My wife liked the stylist a lot that she thought she deserved a good tip. Wish I can remember the stylists name but I can say we arrived on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11am .

I’ve gone about 2 times to this haircut place and everytime I go I end up getting this lady who messes my hair up everytime. I go in hoping I get anyone but this woman, and I end up getting her. Don’t know her name but she has light colored hair and is chubby. She honestly has no idea what she’s doin. She ends up leaving my hair so uneven that I have to go home and do the finishing touches myself. This place used to be so good, now it looks like they just hire anybody off the street. This place needs to close and reopen back up w new stylists and start fresh.

Ruby is amazing! She will explain everything she does thoroughly and will ask you for permission before she does anything. She knows her stuff! She took my hair from teal to balayage in one visit. She is so caring and worth the wait!!

We waited in the lobby for 10 minutes. No one ever showed up to check on their customers. The door had bells on it, you could clearly hear the door open. We spoke loudly, called for them. All you could hear were 2 women laughing and letting the phone ring and ring. Do not come to this place.

Went this morning because my usual place messed up my hair the day before. I dont know what the stylist did, but she messed up a simple cut. Supercuts in Edinburg opened earlier than most places so a headed over. Victoria greeted me and took me in right away. She was very polite. She fixed what was almost a nightmare! I still have a little growing to go (she would have had to go shorter to get it completely even) but you cant really tell theres even a difference. Ill go back with her once my hair grows out and for all my future cuts! She was AWESOME!

Do not let KAITLIN ROQUE touch your hair!!! She completely butchered my daughter’s beautiful curly hair. She decided to take thinning scissors and completely destroy her hair!!!! They offered to fix it, but there isn’t enough hair left to do that.

Im new to the valley and was struggling to find a salon that helped me get an appt in this COVID area (because of a busy class schedule at the local university). This particular salon on University Blvd made an effort to squeeze me in at the end of the day between classes, and Im very grateful. Excellent customer service!

Schedule your appointment ahead of time online or you risk an outrageous wait time. Service varies greatly between cosmetologists, these are not licensed barbers so no blades here. Parking is pretty bad, crowded strip mall front. You have the option to schedule online prior to showing up. If you just show up without pre scheduling you risk waiting for 2 hours. The staff is notorious for overlooking your name on the list. Literacy does not seem to be a strong point. Their main selling point is the service of hot towel finish. This is nice except for the excessive amount of talc powder that they use. Everybody wants to die from silicosis. Overall in this area this is not a bad place to get a haircut. Dependable and not fly by night like many of the other shops.

Was in Edinburgh from San Antonio and needed a last minute haircut, found this place called and was set up with a same day appointment and saw me within the hour. When I arrived the location was clean and welcoming, covid 19 protocol to the T which from the start made me comfortable, and the staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ cant say enough from the receptionist to the hairstylists their professionalism was top notch. Their knowledge on their products is crazy good and even better was the haircut!! I can say its been one of the best experiences Ive had wile getting a hair cut I 10/10 recommend this place.

I asked for specific type of bangs and the hairstylist literally thinned it out and gave me two types of lengths for my bangs. Once I paid I got into my car and cried. I showed them pictures and it looks nothing like it was supposed to

It’s a great feeling knowing that when you go to barber shop, you’ll be walking out with a great haircut. That’s the type of experience you’ll get when you go to this Supercuts. The friendly and experienced staff are always on point when it comes to providing me with an exceptional cut and styling. If I had to pick my favorite two stylists, it would definitely be Ruby and Victoria.

I’ve always been real picky with my barbers but since I had a last minute appointment and my usual barber was nowhere to be found. I googled barbers near me and SuperCuts was the first to pop up. I walked in not knowing what to expect and it made me a bit uneasy. As soon as I stepped in, a sweet smile and warm welcome from who I now know is Janie (my new barber) calmed my nerves. She asked me to sign in and reassured me that she would be right with me. When my turn was up next she listened to my request and understood exactly what I wanted. She delivered my request to the full extent of the phrase. One of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten. I fully recommend SuperCuts on University! Give this place the benefit of the doubt and I guarantee you won’t regret it. Thank You Janie! This is my new spot. 👍🏼👌🏼

Wouldn’t recommend the hairdresser Ramona, i asked for a simple 2 on the sides and none of the top but she did whatever she wanted and gave me a 2-1 fade with a 4 on the top???! And the fade was sloppy and spotty. I wont be returning to that barbershop

So desperate to get the $12.00 that will do whatever to misinterpret your just a trim of the bottom back into an all over trim. Stylists always churning out of this place. If you can avoid it unless you have the good fortune to find the one good stylist be sure to stick with.

Not bad if you want a regular haircut with no razor. I usually get a comb over look with a razor finish on the lines, but the lady there said she couldnt do it. Would prefer a barbershop for me.

I went in to get my hair styled, just simple curls, no hair washing or anything and ended up paying $40. The curls didnt even last for that long before they started going flat and straight. I was very disappointed.

I love cutting my hair here. Once you get used to 1 hair style they write it into your profile and will ask if you want it the same or wanna change it a bit. For me, it took me a couple of tries in order to find the way I like it. My favorite stylist is Ruby but there are other great stylist there too.

I am here at least once a month when I need a good haircut. The ladies here are very helpful and friendly. They are really good at their job and can give some extra advise to achieve a better look. They also offer hair product so you can achieve a better look and a healthier hair. I totally recommend you to call and make an appointment, because it gets a little busy, especially on the weekends.

Amazing place to get a haircut if you know which hairdressers are the best. I recommend Ruby to friends and family. She has never failed to impress me. She works best with more complex styles and shorter hair but can do basic haircuts if needed. The other staff members always cut it too short or unproportional to my head. They have even shaved so short that it hurts. Ask for Ruby when going

Its a great place to get a haircut and they really listen to what kind of haircut you want. The only problem is that if you dont have an appointment the wait time could be up to 40 minutes, but otherwise, its a great place. :)

Great place its clean. They take you name time and phone number down they will call you to see if you are ready. They even have an app to schedule your time and Barber. They also save your cut if its how you usually get it.

Really disappointed in this place! Waited for about and thin was told that two people were ahead of me because they checked in online. I was there at 3pm and these people checked in online after 4pm! I should have gone before them I was there before they even checked in! I will never go back.

In this cases, I compare places based in their environment and their customer service.Supercuts in Edinburg, TX. has a really nice environment starting for their waiting area. The staff is really welcoming and depends on the day or the time, they might offer you something to refresh make more enjoyable your time.The staff is well trained and is really helpful when deciding a new look. The equipment works perfect so their work is easier and helps them to avoid any inconvenience with your style.I can recommend this place from my own experience, and in my opinion is one of the bests in the area.

I recently switched salons. Previous place felt like an assembly line. I have stuck to the young lady that cut my hair on my 1st visit. I phone ahead, almost no wait, super efficient, she saved my preferences on computer. She doest make it feel like she is dying to get you out to cut next persons hair. Ruby is really nice, great disposition. She does a great job.
