I have used them for a year, sometimes good sometimes bad today was not good. This is our rental house renter stayed home between 8-12 to get service done when they hadn’t showed or called by 12 I called they told me so sorry it was scheduled wrong, now it would be between 1 and 3. I said we have been home allMorning missed work due to your mistake can they come at 1, no but we will give you a ten dollar coupons. Big deal for missing a day of work due to your mistake.This isn’t the guy who does the spraying fault, so not upset with him

Extremely polite and professional. They worked extra long and hard due to an infestation of box elder bugs. I am very happy with the work done. I was outside and watched them.

Called for service on Tuesday to deal with Boxelder bugs. Scheduler was very friendly and supportive. He got an appointment on Thursday, just 2 days later! Tech arrived on time and explained treatment and advised that afterwards if I saw many insects that they would come out and retreat. Great service!!

NEVER USE!! This is an awful company with terrible customer service and quality. After the first service, which really didn’t help with anything, they neglected to follow up with other scheduled appointments. We then had a bee issue and scheduled service but they never showed up again. I called to confirm when I could expect them to be at my house even giving them the benefit of the doubt that their day got to busy. The customer service rep said they wont be coming till I reschedule, but blamed it on us that we didn’t answer. First, it was an outdoor service only and they told me we didn’t need to be home. Second, neither my husband or I received a call from them so that’s untrue. Third, we have a door camera and no one came to our house. Liars. When I asked when they could come out, they pushed me off for 3 days. They charge you to cancel the contract. Also, one service rep said that my second service would be free, but second said it would be $130. So frustrating that their own reps don’t know they policies and charges.

Very professional. Have had three treatments so far and it has seemed to improve or bug situation inside and outside. I like that all products are safe for our pets and our children.

My technician Ruben is thorough and professional, addressed all my concerns. I believe he has a plan that will successfully address all of my issues.

They came and assessed the carpet beetle problem. They discussed what the best way to take care of the issue. Then they sprayed thr infected areas.

We had our first visit today and were very impressed with both the professionalism of the technician (Eric) and the quality of his work! We have had pesky spiderwebs all over the exterior of our house in places we haven’t been able to reach for so long. Eric made sure he got rid of them all and now our house looks amazing! He also sprayed the entire yard, around the house, and around our three separate out buildings. He was fast, efficient, and friendly! What more could you ask for?! Can’t wait to start seeing results and have our second treatment in the next month.

Dion Pierson was just at our home for our quarterly service and did a great job. He communicated his arrival and was personable about any concerns we had with spiders, ants, and rodents. It was very smooth and easy to work with him.

The service tech was kind, professional and competent. This was fast, easy and an affordable way to get rid of ant and spiders from our lake home. I don’t normally like chemicals but their product is pet and environmental friendly. Safe for all kids and pets

First time using Aptive and 100% look forward to continuing with them. Dion was the technician that did my first application. I can not stress how impressed with him I was. He presented himself in a professional and more importantly caring manner. He legitimately seem to care about making sure I was taken care of and answer any questions I might have. If you are not sure whether to use this company or not. All I can say I would 110% recommend Aptive.

I just used Aptive today and I highly recommend Aptive for any type of bug invasion you may have. They sprayed the exterior of your home and interior of her home with pet friendly kid friendly solution. They also sprayed inside of your garage and they declare web your house. Great people who take pride in their work. They treat my homes exterior quarterly. If you notice any activity, they come out and repeat the treatment at no additional cost. Over the past 4 years, I no longer see mice in my garage. This year they treated the yard for mosquitoes. And Im deathly allergic to wasps-which they have retreated 3 times this summer. Every person who has come out to treat this home has been very respectful, friendly, and thorough!

First applied a slow acting agent to get to allow wasps to bring it to nest, came back 10 days later to apply a deterrent to prevent future activity. Haven’t seen the long term impact, Will know next spring.

Our service provider Joseph contacted me hours prior to to his arrival to confirm our appointment. Joseph was very professional and courteous. He displayed great knowledge of his profession and executed the job very thoroughly. Joseph took the time to walk my property to identify the most problematic areas to be treated. The tech was knowledgeable with a great personality. He was aware of my issues and I believe he addressed them all. He proactively scheduled a reservoir to be sure the products used will be effective this time.

Not much effort put into their monthly treatments. I see them walk around the house for 3 or 4 minutes then gone. I switched to a different pest control company that is performing much better, and cancelled service with Aptive. They continue to bill me and threaten credit reports after numerous calls and emails of cancellations. At one point I was on the phone for over 30 minutes and transferred to four different people before getting so frustrated I just hung up. They still send me invoices!Beware- entering a contract with them is like Hotel California...you can never leave.

This last quarterly inspection was the best I have had. Past ones were not good. This time the guy actually left me a message in the ring doorbell telling me what he was going to do and did it! The first one to actually take care of all the spider webs and swipe and inspect all around the entire house!

All good so far. No complaints. Just had our 1st maintenance service of our home and yard for general insect control. They covered more of the house and yard than the service I was using for the same price. The service tech was great! Arrived on time. Answered questions. Will give it a year with Aptive and see how it goes.

Trevor was very friendly and professional. He thoroughly explained everything he was going to do prior to the service and asked questions to better understand our needs to ensure he gave the best service possible. When he was done, he again explained in detail everything he had done, which included some additional services that I was not expecting based off of what I had paid for. He definitely went above and beyond and Im very happy with the services provided thus far!

The discount package isnt clear and requires 5 appointments so it is not as inexpensive as the way they market. It also has taken a very long to get my account cancelled- ive spent a lot of time on the phone to try and discontinue. In regards to the actual service, I had a lot of young men that did half thorough jobs, so not really worth it.

I strongly recommend you do not use this company. Since my initial visit in February i have tried numerous times to schedule a quarterly follow up. There have been 4 no-shows to date. I have tried to contact someone locally but i can not get a call back. Yesterday i called the toll free number and asked the rep if i could talk to someone about getting out of the contract. She said she would have someone call me right back. Still waiting for that call. I strongly do not recommend using Aptive!

They came door to door, so I signed up. First visit- the tech left all my windows literally fully dripping with some solution. I called to ask if this is what I can expect and the customer service person literally said “Um, I really don’t know” Cancelled immediately and went back to Terminix where we have had excellent service for years.

Joseph Amara was awesome. On time and great attention to detail. I hope he is our guy for our next service. HOWEVER, in general I have not been happy with Aptive. They didn’t show up for two scheduled appointments. I had to call them and insist on them getting out go service our home. Once they were here they did a great job but they were two months late in servicing our home.

Aptive Environmental comes quarterly to spray the outside of my home with an earth friendly pesticide. I was skeptical, but read the reviews of others and have given them a try for the better part of a year. I am delighted to report that their product works. I no longer have the cobwebs that used to be so abundant in the corners of my doors and on my screens. They delivered as promised!

They were quick to respond and get a service man out to our home. They were knowledgeable and thorough with their job. I was asked multiple times if there was anything else he could help me with before he left. I would definitely recommend and will only use Aptive from here out. Good Prices and Excellent service all around!

If you live in MN, don’t give this company a second glance. Trying to get any appointments outside of your seasonal treatments is near impossible & minimum of 2 weeks out. Communication with schedulers & techs is nonexistent. They say the tech will call you 30 min before arriving but you’re lucky to get any call at all, & if you do it’s when they are already at your house. We had them treat seasonally for box elders etc but had most of our issues trying to get rid of multiple wasp nests that form around our house year after year.Also, learn from my failings at this company - no techs in MN use a ladder. So if you have anything that needs to be taken care of at a high elevation on your home all they have is an extendable handle brush that they spray chemicals on. For services at $100+ a pop that’s something that I could have done myself.When cancelling your account, asking for any type of refund is outright denied. If the services “have been rendered” (meaning the chemicals sprayed on a long handled brush) I was told I could not receive a refund. When I asked to speak to a manager, the person told me he was one of only three managers at the corporate level & that they would all tell me the same thing. Asking to speak to someone higher up than him, I was told the only person higher than him was the owner of the company. Sorry, but I call BS.This company does not value its customers, full stop. The techs are late, argumentative, & do not take any sort of pride in the work they do. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else. This company is just not worth the hassle & strain they will 100% put on your daily life. Would give this company zero stars if I could.

Customer service is severely lacking, long hold times and the representative will not or can not transfer you to anyone else. You are out of luck if you dont like the answer that you are given. It took over a month and a complaint to the Better Business Bureau to get a refund for an improper charge. The issue is now resolved but I am not happy with the whole process of dealing with poor customer service. If not for that I would rate higher. Their technicians that come to the house have been friendly and thorough.

This company is a waste of money. They get rid of the spiderwebs, which most people could do themselves, but when it comes to dealing with mice or wasps - their service is unsatisfactory and overpriced. They do not spray above peoples heads; therefore, they do not spray the wasps nests. So after the treatment and removal of the wasps nest, we still have wasps flying around in our porch and building new nests. Moreover, they do not climb a ladder to get to the attic, so if you have mice in the attic, they will not help you. They promise that the bait boxes outside the house will solve the mice problem, but this is not true if the mice are already inside the house. After their service we still have mice and wasps - the reason why we hired them in the first place. Unfortunately, they tell you all the details of what they do not do after you sign the contract with them. Moreover, they charge over $200 to cancel the contract with them. We are highly disappointed with Aptive and do not recommend it to anyone.

Shawn was my service technician for my first visit. Can say enough good things about him. He took a good amount of time to talk everything through everything with me and answer any questions I had. Time will tell on the effectiveness of the treatment but from can’t say enough about how courteous and personable Shawn was.

Representative, Matt came to our neighborhood and was very professional letting us know that theyll be in the area over the next week and offered an attractive discount and service.Dion came out for the first application and was also professional and informative. He was quick and let us know that the service we pay for covers any additional visits needed in between quarterly visits.

I was scheduled for annual service today. It has been raining hard all day. They never came but Aptiv still charged my credit card. I called in. Had to wait like 15 minutes. And the lady verified that the service person made a note that they would have to reschedule because of the rain. Yet I didn’t receive a call to reschedule, and they still charged my credit card for the service. And the lady said they couldn’t refund my credit card?!?!?!? Then the lady asked me if I wanted to reschedule?!!?!?!?! Most of my experiences have not been good with Aptiv. I think it’s time to look for a new company.

Nobody enjoys signing up for pest control services but both the sales representative and Trevor who completed the service were very pleasant. They were informative and polite. Both parties made the process as painless as possible while still providing the necessary information to keep me in the loop. Would use them again.

This was my first service by the company. The agent was prompt and efficient in his work. He took the time to understand our needs and answer our questions. He also treated a yellow jacket nest that was identified after we scheduled the visit. I was very satisfied with the service call.

It was a bit more money then we wanted to spend, but we are excited by the service. We just had the first application today so haven’t seen the full effects yet but seems like good quality and service. Very friendly and responsive

My first treatment went very well. Second treatment went terrible. Got scheduled for a technician to come out for my second treatment and they didnt show up. I called and Aptive apologized and had my appointment rescheduled and again no one showed up. So I called and asked why no one showed up and they apologized and said sorry the technician is running late. So I told them dont bother coming then because this is the second time not showing up. Aptive apologized and said well what if we offer your second treatment to be free/ I said yes I will accept that. So they said great the tech should be there in a couple hours.well tech showed up 6 hours later and didnt even do a full treatment. all he did was saturated down a small corner of the house and left.so I called back and said what happened and aptived apologized and said they will get a tech scheduled to come out and do a full treatment. well the appointment was made and again tech didnt show up.so apparently Aptive is not interested in keeping their customers.

Was good when we had them, ants literally disappeared. They didnt answer when I called and did not call back. Im guessing they are out of business since they didnt come in July and now we have bugs back again

Aptive are very friendly and down earth people. we have been approached by other companies and you could tell they didn’t care about you and they only wanted your money. We had Joseph do our first treatment today and it was quick, quiet(was able to work in peace) and very friendly! I would recommend this company to anyone who is worried about insects around their house.

They were here when they said theyd be. Sales and work crews were both knowledgeable and courteous. Wont know the quality of the product for a while, but based on the rest of the experience, and positive feedback from my friend who has also used the service, I anticipate good results.

They basically sold me with a high quality sales pitch, with door to door salesmen. I dont usually by from door to door salesmen, but somehow they were able to. So far the company seems very well organized. But i dont have more information. I am removing a star because of the unsolicited sales approach, and they were not able to protect the high eves on my house.

They sprayed the yard and shrubs and treated outside of house with insecticide. Arnelle is very pleasant and seemed to be very thorough. We will call for interior treatment should we choose at a later date.

I cannot believe I wasted so much money, JUST to have more bugs in my yard than ever before. Massive ant hills, ticks, yellow jackets, more mosquitos than I could have ever imagined and everything in between. The service was horrible, most of the employees that came out to spray were polite, friendly and seemed knowledgeable, but would forget simple things, like charging their sprayers the night before, so Id have to reschedule an application for another date. Not that it mattered at all, if I called to schedule ANOTHER service, the next available was nearly 2 weeks out and at that point was almost pointless when the next regular service was close by. The employees are over worked and lack energy and drive to spray the full yard. They are only told to spot spray areas, which does nothing for ants and other colony bugs. The best part about my service was my daughters birthday party which was ruined by yellow jackets that I have never had issues with in the past. 2 kids were stung, one was allergic, but luckily had an epipen available. My home also now has problems with mice, which is completely new. I signed up for Aptive Pro Plus, which covers (supposed to cover) ants spiders yellow jackets, wasps, centipedes, mice, fleas, ticks mosquitos. All of which were more prevalent than any year prior. DO NOT RECOMMEND!Buy your own pesticides and spray your yard, that way if it doesnt work, youre only out a couple bucks. Trust me.

Don’t waste your time or money with this company! They came out to help with our ant problem and didn’t do much to help! Waste of money! What a joke of a company!

These guys cannot take no for an answer. Despite our “no soliciting” sign at the door, I’ve been harassed twice now by these guys and I can tell, based on prior sales experience myself, that they have been trained to not take no for an answer. I said not interested until the sales guy told me my service would be free. I’m not one to pass up a free service, so I said sure. We went through all the details and booked a time for them to come out then he asked me for a credit card “to have on file”. I said I thought it was free? It was then that he took it upon himself to tell me that I would be locked into a contract and I would be charged $115 every visit after. I asked if I could cancel after the first “free” service and he said no. Makes me wonder what happens if I were to be unhappy with their service after the first round?? Ultimately I was very displeased with the borderline harassment from these guys, they try to guilt you into it.

Not sure why there are so many cry babies on Google. These guys have been great. I’ve had them for over 2 years now. They address my problems. Everyone I meet is always nice. I no longer have pest issues. Prices are reasonable and I don’t have to go to a hardware store and tackle these problems myself.

Joseph Amara did a great job today. He texted to let us know when he would arrive. They did cancel on a day it was to rain which I thought was great. He asked what specific concerns I had before starting and was here at least an hour! Not just a quick run around the house spray.

I was told by the salesman that they could spray the yard in the rain, but when the sprayer guy came he said they couldn’t do it in the rain. So it didn’t get done today. We have very sandy soil, and a lot of ant mounds in our yard, so am anxious to see how their service works.

Very nice job of explaining the procedure and what Aptive can do for ridding our home of unwanted pests. The service was done immediately with all questions we had answered. We look forward to seeing the results of getting rid of the bothersome pests.

My first appointment for a “treatment” from this company. Arrived an hour after the 8-12 window I was given. Then they did not have the proper products to treat my main problem which is what I was sold on by the sales person two days prior. Was told they will come back out to do the treatment once they get the preventative product to treat wasps, hopefully they do follow through but it will be another inconvenience to sit and wait for one of their appointment windows again. Not a good first impression for a company. I hope they can rebound. I will say, the two employees (Dion and Austin) were very professional and courteous even though they couldn’t follow through on the sales promise.*** updated 6/25/21 - They never scheduled or showed up for their 30-day follow up. Just talked to customer service and for some reason my property was not being scheduled. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with on so many levels. Buyer beware.

Aptive has been great. We haven’t needed them in an emergency fashion, but they are responsive for our needs. Some of their service people are better than others, but all have been professional and courteous.

I’ve used Aptive for a year. They have always done a good job. I like the reminders that I get for appointments and the calls when they are almost to the house. Everyone has always been really friendly and helpful that I have talked with.

Buyer Beware. I dont leave negative reviews often, but this had to be done for Aptive Environmental. And Ill make it quick too because you can tell by this pest control companys door to door soliciting sales tactics, poor quality of work and responsiveness, and massive amount of negative reviews, that they go for quantity over quality to make their business work.We got sold by their door to door salesmen (unfortunately) because we were having issues with spider webs and wasps. Guess what? After a year of treatment, there was no change in the spider webs we saw everywhere around the house. Yeah their technicians would come out, walk around the house and spray quick for 3 minutes, and then leave each time.Regardless of that fact, I would have been fine with it but right before the year contract was up, I emailed them not once, not twice, but 3 times to put in my notice to cancel the contract as soon as the year was up. No response whatsoever. And of course its completely unclear in the contract how to cancel it when the term is up.Not long after an Aptive Environmental tech shows up again to do another treatment and charge us again. We talked to the rep and told him I had already cancelled, in which he responded hed take care of it. Nothing happened of course. Not a month after that they came back again for another treatment. At this point I called in and cancelled immediately. They knew nothing about my cancellation tries.I advised I want to talk to a manager as soon as possible about being refunded for the previous times. They assured me several times theyd follow up about that the next day. Of course they didnt.All I can say is dont waste your time and money with this company. Theres a lot of companies that do very well for themselves by being very good at selling their service door to door on a segway - but underperform in their service terribly. This is one of those companies.

Absolutely terrible business - DO NOT USE! After cancelling my service due to consistently poor results and technicians with scant training/education, the company continued to automatically schedule me for appointments for another 6 months. Once I finally got this stopped, nearly a year later I received a bill for my cancelled contract - 1 application shy of completing my second service agreement with this company. The application wouldve cost $110 but the cancellation charge was $270. I placed multiple calls to customer service offering to pay the $110 but they were not authorized to accept this. Customer service was not able to transfer me to a supervisor, but on each occasion told me that I would receive a call back. I was never called by a supervisor despite my multiple requests, and then was sent to COLLECTIONS! By this point all I wanted to do was be done with this company, so I agreed to their standard discounted settlement and paid by card. Two weeks later Im now getting calls again from APTIVE for the $270! I have never written an on-line review in my life, but this company has motivated me to advocate for unsuspecting customers. WHERE DO I CLICK FOR ZERO STARS???

We missed our initial appointment. They were very quick to reschedule and came out a few days later. Both Dion and Jaden were very responsive.

Appointment was 4-6pm. They arrived at 7:37 pm. Glad I was home. Associate was very nice explaining everything.
