Went for a wedding and Tyler the event coordinator is just a BIG ZERO. He cant or wont do anything to accommodate a bride that gave the hotel 25+ rooms. Then we spoke to Ryan, Director of Sales and he said he was giving us clean rooms. How smart can a Director of Sales be when in times of Covid he would say something like that? Both employees had quite a condescending attitude. Hotels just alright, truthfully not worth the money.

This hotel is fantastic - quiet, clean and modern. Very convenient to everything on the west side of the cities. Our suite was HUGE with a full living, dining room and 2 bathrooms! Valet was very inexpensive and quick to bring the car around. There are tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay over when our flight was cancelled and we had to be rerouted the next day. The pool is beautiful (my kids loved that it was open at6am). Restaurant in lobby is pretty good. Rooms were neat clean modern. Stay was easy. We could easily walk to various stores in the mall.

My husband and I love this hotel! We live in the area but love to stop in for a quick getaway/staycation. The hotel is gorgeous and the staff is really amazing - super friendly and on top of everything. The pool and jacuzzi area is really nice as well.

We stayed there with our two preteen kids. It was very nice, quiet and clean. The pool with hot tub was great and a nice workout room too. Faye helped us with our reservation and went out of her way to make it fun for the kids with some yummy treats in the room. They felt really special. You don’t even have to walk outside to get to the shops, restaurant and Starbucks next door. Will definitely stay here again!

The staff were fantastic. The gentlemen at the front desk were all great, especially Origin. He helped bring all of our items up to the room, offered an extra refrigerator for our infant’s bottles, and also brought a doggy bed for our dog. The morning staff (I can’t remember both of their names sorry guys!) were also both great and helped us get out quickly to catch our flight since we woke up a little late. Staff is a 10/10The room was also a 10/10. Great bathroom with rain shower. Great bed. And a great amount of space.Valet was also awesome. Some high end places charge absurd amounts for their valet, but this valet was very reasonably priced at only $12 a night.Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

This establishment is worthy of infinite vacancy until the day the doors shut due to foreclosure. Just a few things to watch out for, if you are the unfortunate one who lodged here. Bed bugs have their own zip codes, clean towels will have brown stains on them, showers that leak h2o all over floor, and to top it all off a staff who is ignorant and cold. If you are interested in a gig here one must be able to lie straight through their teeth.

While booking, I had a hard time with my room reservation but Charles was very informative and helpful. He was able to help my family by working out a remedy that worked out very well. This was even after my initial frustrated encounter with him.I’m very grateful. It was too bad I could not thank him in person.The other staff was also helpful and very responsive.The hotel itself was very clean with hand sanitizer every where and wipes to clean your remote/switches. Appropriate for the category and ratings you see.The location was also excellent and conveniently located 10-20 minutes to everything we wanted to see.I will definitely be returning here when I visit the area.The only negative is if you have an electric or plugin in electric hybrid vehicle. The are only 6 EV slots, all taken except for one that was broken. It was also located ALL THE WAY ON THE OTHER SIDE.This is all based on not using the pool and other amenities. I know someone has posted negatively due to those reasons.

Rated 1 star solely because the elevators require a room key to operate. Ended up trapped in an elevator (cant open doors without key) and had to wait for someone to open it. Ridiculous.

Awesome hotel and steak house

I stayed at the Edina Westin with my daughter to celebrate her birthday. The concierge checked us in and even upgraded our room. Later that night he sent up some cookies, soda and candy with a birthday note. My daughter felt so special! I really appreciated his thoughtfulness. The hotel was very clean. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a hotel in that area.

Beautiful hotel in a great Twin Cities location. Wonderful, friendly employees and everything has been very well thought out. Definitely worth the splurge if you want away from the mall and airport and want a certain level of hotel.

I always enjoy the Westin when visiting MN, having been a former resident. This location is convenient for a quick galleria run and for dining at McCormick and Schmidt, where we received a complementary appetizer from the hotel, a great perk, as the calamari were delightful. As usual, the bed was heavenly, worth the trip.

I stayed here for a conference I had in there building. The hotel is very very nice, I mean its a luxury hotel for a reason. The mini bar is stocked with some very good stuff. The bar inside is very nice, & the food is great. The price is also very reasonable.

Disappointing service, front desk check in was rude. The hotel itself is contemporary, clean and inviting. The hotel is convenient in its location close do shopping and restaurants. Was excited to stay after a long day at the hospital and found the initial contact to be disappointing at check in. The room service food was good but not warm. It was a quick trip and overall the hotel is very nice however they could benefit from training their employees to make their guests feel more welcome.

Westin has a reputation of excellence and top class offerings. They reinforced that reputation on my last trip to Minneapolis. I was there to attend a dear friends sons wedding. Excellent location, staff, room and amenitites, was able to order room service (which was excellent and missing nothing!) My welcome basket was delivered promptly and with a smile. Valet was right on time every time (even when I forgot my ticket stub). Room service staff was above and beyond! My compliments to you all -- you were beyond my expectations -- even of Westin!

After staying at two different full-service hotels in the Minneapolis area near major shopping, we all agreed the Westin in Edina was the best. It was a spectacular property that had everything you needed. Spacious rooms, bathrooms, top-notch restaurant and easy access to tons of shopping which much higher-end options than Mall of America. If we come back, well be staying at the Westin again.

This Westin is relatively new and is a lovely spot for a weekend getaway. The Galleria has great high-end shops and Southdale is right across the street. Great restaurants abound. Highly recommend.

The Westin in Edina is lovely with such nice areas around the lobby to relax & have a glass of wine or cup of coffee. The decor is upscale & modern but unpretentious. The lobby bar has a very friendly & inviting feel & the adjacent restaurant McCormick & Schmick’s is very good with a warm atmosphere & good seafood. We just ordered appetizers but they were very good & our service was great. We love that the hotel is attached to the Galleria shopping center, our favorite. This hotel has everything we like; a warm, nicely decorated lobby & bar area, a very good attached restaurant & the ease of walking through the lower level walkway to get to our favorite shopping mall.

If I have to travel I want to stay here! The experience was fantastic from the check in to check out. I was here on business but enjoyed the tunnel to the Galleria Mall with restaurants without having to drive anywhere and the hotel gave coupons to use which came in handy. The bedding in the room was the best I have had in quite some time.

How important is the person checking you in... to me very important. We werent in town for business or pleasure but rather a medical crisis for our daughter. It was a later check in & we were a bit tired. Rebecca checked us in, no upgrade, furthest room from the elevator, but claimed it to be quiet (until the morning came & we were right across from the cleaning staffs main room which they werent quiet), gave us a key to the 7th floor lounge, but why?!?! it was closed, didnt give good directions to my husband on how to park in the ramp, how to get back into the hotel, we went back to her 3 or 4 times with basic questions she easily couldve explained while checking us in. For the Galleria location, I just expected a more helpful front desk person. The next morning, one of the kindest men named Big Ben was more than willing to help. So why do I say this.... a lot of where we stay or go back to stay has to do with the front desk experience. I think even at nights the staff should be as warm and friendly as the morning crew. Westin bed comfortable, room clean, restaurant serves supper & breakfast, bar tender at night with the longer hair... he should stop flipping it around while mixing drinks, not so certain that was sanitary. Will we be back?!?! Its possible

My fiance take a few weekends away a year to recoup and relax. This is hands down our go-to hotel. With all of the locations to choose from in the Twin Cities, we always choose the Westin Galleria in Edina! It smells wonderful upon entering, having a separate bath tub and shower is dreamy and the beds are amazingly comfortable. The number of amenities they offer is outstanding. I never want to go home after staying here.

The cleanliness and customer service was amazing at this hotel. I was very happy with the cleanliness of the room along with the size and amenities of the bathroom. My only negative experience was that all of the parked was filled up when I arrived so I needed to park in the parking garage behind the hotel. I had a few heavy bags and it was quite a walk from the parking garage to my hotel room on the 4th floor.

Stayed here recently 2 nights during a business trip to Edina, MN. It was an easy Uber ride from the airport to the Westin, and check-in was fast and efficient. Was within my room in 5 minutes.The Room was spacious and very clean with 2 Queen beds. The bathroom was good-sized with plenty of amenities. Rooms were also quiet with no noticeable outside noise.The Hotel Bar bartenders are fantastic. Very personable and they make great drinks. Food comes from McCormick & Smicks and it was good.The Westin is located next to 2 large nice malls.Definite 5 star.

We stay at the Westin yearly as a fun get-away Staycation. The amenities are wonderful. The hotel is clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The Westin Edina Galleria is a nice hotel with friendly and courteous staff. The room I stayed in was nothing special but it was adequate. However, minor problems such as a refrigerator that wouldnt unlock or open and USB charging ports that wouldnt charge either of two unrelated devices kind of detracted from the experience. I didnt have an opportunity to eat at the restaurant or order room service - when Im in the Twin Cities for only one night Im always going to eat at Redstone American Grill in Eden Prairie - but the restaurant was busy and seemed spacious, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Great room, amazing shower/tub with a king sized bed. The air was a bit dry but these things happen. The hot tub was perfect as well. Would reccomend bringing some snacks from a corner store as the rooms are stocked with overpriced goods

I cannot ask for anything more, ever. This hotel is amazing in every way possible. The staff, every single one of them, was amazing. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable and anything you may need from a hotel. I will now look for a Westin before anything else when traveling.

Hotel and amenities are nice, but the door to the hallway seemed to allow every noise to come in. Luckily the Population that stays at this hotel is well mannered, but you could hear conversations in the hallway from your chair in the room with the TV on. With this said I have stayed here many times and will continue to do so in the future.

Able to accommodate a quick trip. Room was prepared but not thoroughly cleaned. Looked like a quick once over. Shower leaked a LOT of water on bathroom floor. Very quiet after midnight and most of the morning. Relaxed check out which allowed for an easy start to the day.

Frankly the lack of hedgehogs is disturbing and the hospitality of the bedbugs on my 46 year old twin bed was lackluster. i would not recommend this establishment to any of my friends or family. However, I would recommend this hotel to my in-laws, providing they never left or perhaps mysteriously disappeared while staying here.

This is usually our go to but our experience this last weekend is that we will not be going back, I know they are having issues with covid19 but with such a high scale hotel. We thought they could have been more catering, we were supposed to be on club level. We were on 6th floor instead there was no evening bite to eat or no breakfast. No pool, no mini fridge was stocked, 200$ room, next time we will be going to the holiday Inn or bed and breakfast

We were there for my nieces wedding Labor Day weekend. The weekend was perfect. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. The linens were so soft and lush. Even the toilet paper was soft. The staff were so very accommodating, there was not one thing they didnt do or would do. The food was fabulous, the correct temperature and so good from the salads to the main course. I would tell anyone to have their special occasion at the Westin. We live in the city and we loved staying one night at the hotel. We should have stayed the whole weekend there.I cant say enough about the staff from the housekeepers, to the valets, to the reception people. They know how to do exceptional Customer Service.The hotel is beautiful. the atrium area where the Cookie Airstream was set up was perfect and the ballroom was gorgeous.The room for the ceremony was perfect too.I will repeat again this is truly a remarkable place to have Any special occasion. From start to finish the hotel was exceptional and the staff was the best I have experienced. You would truly not go wrong being here.

Everything met expectations. There were ups and downs. Fitness center is great, being attached to the mall is great. Could have been cleaner and the minibar could have been cold.

I stay here frequently with my Father in law to attend Viking games. The staff is very kind and respectful. The club level has a nice lounge with good appetizers and small but good selection of beer and wines. The beds are fantastic and the rooms are very quiet, I also enjoy the pool area and a top notch fitness area. Bashir who runs one of the limos is extremely kind and a great driver. If you go to McCormicks next door you have to try their Calamari.

All staff members that we encountered during our stay were extremely friendly and professional. The hotel is beautiful and the amenities are excellent. Its location is ideal and there is plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance.I will definitely be returning to the Westin Edina very soon. Our stay was absolutely amazing! We stayed at the Westin for our wedding anniversary and were upgraded to club level which was unexpected and truly appreciated. Because of the kind act to make our stay more special, the Westin Edina will now be our first choice while in the Twin Cities.

On a friends recommendation, my wife and I spent our 20th wedding anniversary here. The room was spacious and luxurious. The bed was so comfortable. Every member of the staff was courteous and helpful. The location is wonderful for fine dining in every direction. Nothing bad to say. Love the Westin Galleria! Our new favorite hotel.

The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable, not to mention well decorated. The bathroom had beautiful finishes, separate bathtub and shower and was quite spacious.I was there during two days of non stop rain, so the underground walkway to the mall and restaurants was a welcome treat.I’m in Minneapolis every 8 weeks for work and this hotel will now be the only place I’ll stay!

The bed really was heavenly, the bath too. The air flow in the room was clean and fresh, the bathroom didn’t get steamy after a shower. The water felt silky. The housekeeper’s cleaned each day with perfection. The room was longer and wider than other hotels. There were lots of places to plug in electronics. Westin has nailed it for being the best hotel in my opinion.

I worked on the 8th floor of the resident level.. very nice property. Could use a better security system. I walked right inside the loading dock door, was not locked..7AM..

My sister and I live in different states and find the Westin Edina Galleria a great meeting point for a weekend visit. The pool and spa are so lovely and relaxing! The rooms are spacious and air conditioned. The restaurant is great whether for breakfast or dinner. Try the lobster bisque. Besides the Galleria shopping and a step across the street for outstanding Cheesecake, we cant go wrong.

I used SPG points for a night away with my husband to celebrate his birthday. Front desk was very accommodating; acknowledged my Gold status. Our room and the hotel was very clean. Bathroom was huge and beautiful. Hotel is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. I definitely would recommend this hotel and plan to return again to stay!

Great pool and members lounge. The location is convenient for a meeting and connected to a mall to go walking in if the weather is poor. There are lots of food options nearby. The staff is attentive and will accommodate requests like a fridge and crib or baby in the room.

Clean room, comfy bed and got a fantastic upgrade to room 602 (enormous corner suite). The staff was fantastic. Plenty of food and shopping in walking distance too.

Theres no question this is the best hotel in the area, and my only complaint is that it can sometimes be difficult to secure a reservation, especially on short notice during the week.This property is in a great location with free underground parking immediately adjacent to the property along with upscale shopping and dining.The property is elegant and manages to create a peaceful environment from the moment you walk through the front door. It features a McCormick & Schmicks restaurant in the hotel that gets busy for their amazing happy hour deals. They also have a diverse well priced wine list and a great bar staff.The staff and management team at this property are fantastic and always seem to genuinely care and go out of their way to accommodate any special requests, whether it’s the front desk, bell services, concierges or housekeeping.As anyone who travels for business knows, business travel can be trying at the best of times. I actually look forward to my visits here. If you book a Club Floor room or you are SPG Platinum you’ll have access to the top floor lounge for breakfast and evening hors d’oeuvres.In terms of facilities, it’s not a massive property but does have all the essentials of a business hotel including a business centre, gym and swimming pool along with several options for meeting rooms.I have stayed here several times over the past couple of years and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone! I’ve done a lot of business travel over the years and this is easily one of my favourite places to stay.

My sister and I loved our stay at the Westin Galleria. We felt welcomed by your friendly staff as soon as we walked in. The room furnishings were beautiful. The bed was so comfortable and we loved the shower. We also really liked the pool and the whirlpool was so relaxing.Room service was excellent and the food was fantastic. The staff was very helpful and answered all our requests promptly. We had such a great time and glad we came here for our girls weekend.

Have to say that this hotel really was great on all levels. Brent the concierge was excellent and really set us up in a perfect room for my wife and I and our baby daughter. Matt with the bell staff was great too - after arriving late he helped us with a mountain of luggage, parked our car, and found us a crib. Room was great and clean and well appointed. Loved the gym and the business center. I know it sounds like I work for Westin or something, but I dont, I just travel a lot and know a well run hotel when I see one. Thanks guys!

I normally have a terrible time sleeping at a hotel. The Westin Edina Galleria is an exception to that. The room was comfortable and the bed/mattress was the best I have slept on in a hotel for years. The room temperature was ideal. It made for a wonderful night sleep. When i need a another great nights sleep, I may just check back into the Westin.

I stayed at this hotel almost every week for about six months for business. I found the staff to be kind and accommodating, the rooms to be upgraded and fresh, and the gym to be clean. The Peloton bikes in the gym were a nice surprise! This hotel is close to restaurants and quick stops for essentials, which is nice if you value convenience. Would certainly recommend!

This is our go to hotel for our family tradition for the Race for the Cure. Hotel is located directly in-front of the the finish/start area and is perfect for those participating in the event. This hotel is clean, up-to-date, and located in a great location. Staff is welcoming, kind, and helpful. We have stayed here before and will continue to stay in the future.

I only travel to the Minneapolis area a few times per year, and this was my first stay at this hotel. Ill be back. The room was roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was heaven! Parking was easily accessible (and free!). The exercise room was very clean, and the equipment kept up very well. The staff were extremely responsive to any needs. My only bit of feedback is the in-room wi-fi service. Unfortunately, you have to pay for service for each device you use, which I didnt realize. So I had to purchase wi-fi for both my ipad and my laptop. The front desk clerk explained its tracked by the ip address, but I still think thats kind of a poor policy. She was kind enough to remove the additional charges though.overall, top notch service - great hotel!!

This is a great hotel if youre going to be near Edina anyway. Great gym (with a few paletons and a pool), friendly staff, free parking, good rooms, lounge for water, and proximity to the entire mall. There are places outside to run. Great stay.

This is one of the best choices in the Twin Cities area. Very friendly staff, fabulous rooms and great SPG recognition. I must thank Amy from concierge for the special amenity delivered to my room. Lisa from another SPG brand Downtown hotel communicated with Amy at the Westin who arranged for a special surprise. This is the FIRST time that I have seen conjoint concierge collaboration between two different SPG brands in the same city. The other SPG brand where I stay is like a second home to me. Lisa and Amy thank you, this effort goes down in history. I try to stay at all 9 SPG brands in a calender year but the inter-brand collaboration mentioned above is a first for me.I must not fail to mention Alena in the club lounge, she is the most friendly and courteous lady you will encounter. PLEASE LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, GOLDS, PLATINUMS, SPG-75s AND SPG-100s give the lounge attendant a tip and praise their services. They work very hard to take care of you. Alena you are the BEST. The food and the lounge is PERFECT.Choose this hotel without hesitation. You will immensely enjoy it

This is a first class property. AWESOME STAFF! The only Westin that Im aware of that offers an Executive Club Lounge for Gold and Platinum members. That was a most welcome surprise. Large and Comfortable rooms, that are well appointed and very clean. Brand new Life Fitness equipment in hotel gym. Great location to Shopping, Airport and Downtown. The hotel is centrally located, so very easy to get to. There are more than enough amenities nearby, so whether youre looking for dinner, drinks or shopping - youre covered. The staff was polite and helpful. The room was immaculate, very comfortable and plenty of space.
