I just had a great experience at Jerrys Hardware in Edina. I needed a new gas grill. I searched widely on the internet checking out specialty online retailers as well as local big box providers. When I was up getting groceries, I stopped by Jerrys Hardware and was pleasantly surprised to see a great selection of Weber Grills at great prices. They also offered free delivery and free pick-up of my old grill. They just delivered my new grill (fully assembled) and took away my old rusty one. I should have done this sooner. It was very easy and a great value. I highly recommend this local store that provides great service. THANKS.

I bought a 20 pound bag of birdseed and tho they didn’t help me get it to the front check out they called someone to help me get it to my car.

The restaurant at restoration hardware was beautiful with all the gorgeous chandeliers, fountains and glass everywhere. The food was good too..

It doesnt make any sense how i cant duplicate a key that I got copied from Jerrys hardware. Afterwards, I then brought a smaller key that they are out of stock of all of a sudden. Customer service could be better than this...

This isnt necessarily my closest hardware store but I am willing to drive a little farther for the quality service. My snowblower wasnt starting this winter and instead of just telling me to bring it in for servicing, they helped me diagnose the issue and gave me recommendations to try in order to get it fixed on my own. Now, they did sell me a few items to do that, but thats fine by me. And best of all - it worked. It easily saved me over $100 in service costs. In return for that lost revenue opportunity, theyve got a customer wholl be back many more times. My only thing keeping it from being five stars is that the prices are high on some basic items. I guess that offsets the cost of having knowledgeable people so maybe Im being harsh... Id give a 4.5 if I could.

Jerrys has the friendliest and knowledgeable staff. They always help with whatever the situation big or small. Their patience is matched by their ability to make you laugh. For a weekend warrior its a great first stop before game on.

This is such an Edina type hdwr store. A little bit of everything, but not so good if u need actual hard to find plumbing or electrical items. Waffle irons? Theyve got you covered.

They carry everything you could possibly need, much higher quality than Home Depot or Menards and you get in and out way faster.. great staff too!

I love this store. The selection they have for their size is fantastic and as everyone else has said, their service is wonderful. Theres almost always at least one person at the entrance waiting to help you. Terry has become my go-to guy for all my DIY projects and always leaves me better informed and equipped.I think their prices are very fair, especially given the convenience of being able to walk in, find what you want, buy it, and walk out, all in just a few minutes.Anyway, I suggest you give them a shot.

Great local hardware store. Super friendly, and most of the people know how to fix stuff, and theyll provide you with the knowledge needed to do your repairs, free of charge.One of the guys at this place saved me a lit of time and hassle for the next time I have a leak in a refrigerator water line. After trying a couple times with a compression fitting, a guy showed me their little shark-bite type fittings. After that, I had it done in 5 minutes. I just wish the first guy wouldve shownme those.

Went to get a Toro lawnmower curved bolt and plastic knob for the lawnmower handle...Amazed they had it in stock, and was more amazed by the excellent customer service at the rear desk. Cant remember his name (Josh?) but he took the time to make sure I tested the bolt with the knob and answered all of my questions patiently...Best service I could have hoped for!

Nice neighborhood store. The employees are all quite helpful. Its my go-to store. They dont have the huge selection like the other big guys, but how often do you need to buy a water heater or other big stuff?

Good solid neighborhood hardware store, stocked with everything youd expect to find there. For most hardware related needs, its a better destination than one of the huge home stores.

Best neighborhood hardware store. They have just about anything you need and lots of friendly help is always available. They store our mower and snowblower off season and provide excellent repair service when needed.

I went here to buy an extension cord. The staff were friendly and helped me to find the right section to buy it. Of note, there were some old guys working behind the counter and one of them wasn’t wearing a mask properly behind the plexiglass when I had gone. I don’t know if that matters to other people but I thought it was weird.

Horribly over priced vs all hardware stores on the surrounding cities. With the exception of some management,it is staffed by high schoolers(on cells, laughing, leaning etc), and they lack the knowledge to assist customers with any product and have to resort to seeking a senior staff. This takes precious time. Everyone is very polite. Friendly. Their efforts are noted. Only use this store as last resort or emergency only.

I liked it. Not bad for a neighborhood do-it-yourself hardware store, and a decent alternative to one of the major stores like Home Depot or Lowes which would require a 7 - 10 mile drive each way. I also like patronizing a more local business like Jerrys that a super sized enterprise like HD or Ls.The staff here are also super friendly, the store always clean and the shelves well stocked and organized. Although they dont have the depth and range of products like the bigger stores do, they are happy to order whatever you need for pickup in the store if they dont carry it in stock. I like the place, the definition of Google Maps rating for 4 stars, and recommend it if this vendor is in your local area.

Good old customer service. They treat you like a friend. Went to get a snow blower, not only they gave a good price, eventhough they could have charge me the sticker price becuase it is snowing, they are all sold out 20 miles around, and it was the only one left at the store and they had just gotten this AM, but when I was about to load the manager came to me and said: We will deliver tomorrow morning. We got it this AM and I want to make sure it is in good working condition for you Wow, that is laser focus customer service. I had never been to this store before. They not only gained a customer tonight, they gained an free marketing agent. I live a bit far, but I will sure go out of my way to return to this store. Thank you Nancy, thank you manager on duty 02-21-19 @ around 6PM, you are a golden nugget in a dessert of mediocre big box hardware store customer service experience.

Went in needing WD40. They had 2 feet of empty shelf space. The high school kid said it must be popular. What store runs out of that? Spaces indicated for 3 sizes. Went to Ace and it cost a buck less.

The best customer service in the metro at a hardware store! I highly recommend Jerrys. They have a Very good selection of DIY hardware. Have a lot of tools and there pricing isnt even that bad! If your in the area I recommend that you stop by!

The older staff is friendly, and somewhat knowledgeable. They young people in there have no idea where or what things. It is also insanely overpriced like the grocery store is.

Jerrys is example of a superior local hardware store. Easy parking. Good DIY inventory. Good hardware selection. Excellent service department. Regular staff know the store. The store manager, John, and his team are customer-service-oriented problem solvers. After 35 years at the Vernon location, they have learned to stock what the neighborhood needs/wants. Few people realize that the store can usually order anything that you dont see in stock. Nancy in the Service Department has helped keep all our households small engines going. When you have a question, look for the staff that are over the age of 25 - they are more likely to be FT/regular staff. My favorite thing: When I am starting a fix-it project, I will buy everything I think I might need knowing that I can easily return what wasnt used.Our house is held together with parts and products from Jerrys (particulary from the caulk and paint aisles).
