I just picked my truck up from here yesterday after having the premium package sold to me by the dealership I purchased my truck from. Wish I wouldnt have done it here and just paid to have it done else where. The interior looked good, but the undercoating/rust proofing was done very poorly and unevenly, very heavy is spots. Can see exactly where vehicle was hoisted as they did not bother to treat those spots once it was off the hoist. They sprayed multiple electrical connections (hope I never need to have any work done with those cause they wont come apart, over sprayed on the body and clearly attempted to clean it off but did a terrible job doing that too, also over sprayed the plastic fender liners and shocks (which doesnt matter but aesthetically looks terrible). They also slathered on tire shine that proceeded to spray all over sides of the truck as I drove away. I will not trust another vehicle service from this company.

Just had rust proofing done on my vehicle. Couldnt be happier with the service!! they picked up my car at home and left a loaner vehicle so I could get to work and dropped it off at my work!! I also left my house keys in the loaner and they delivered them to my work the next day!!! Very friendly and professional at every step!! Shout out to Cecil who went the extra mile to help out!!

I bought the rust proof package at the dealership when I bought my car and this is the company that got the job. Well I wish I wouldve read the reviews before bringing my car in for service. I got my car back and there are scratches in multiple areas throughout my car. I tried calling right away and I got a answer machine stating that they close at 5pm however it wasnt even 430pm yet. I left a message and never got a call back the next day. I would definitely not recommend using their services. If they correct the problem and fix the damage they caused I will update my review, but as of now I would stay far away if you like your car being scratch free.

Rustproof protection was very inconsistent. Called and told the receptionist about it and sent an email regarding the issue and nothing was resolved. Don’t get any services done here. Very unprofessional and nothing would be worth your time.

Over all a very pleasant experience. Located in an easy to find, upscale neighborhood, close to 494. It was very easy to find. Staff was very friendly and courteous and the service was top notch! The waiting area was impeccably clean and so was the restroom.This place is Class AA. I highly recommend!

I paid $1300 for the full work on my Highlander 2020, and they literally put the clear coat on top of every piece of dirt the SUV had. Ive been washing it every 2 days now to see if they come off, but now, they just become part of my car.Second issue, they gave a treatment to the interiors and is like they didnt do anything. Apparently it was to protect the leather, but it feels like they just sprayed Flee and thats it. This is my first, and last. I would have done a better job buying the products and doing everything myself.

I love Auto Armour products but have noticed over time the attention to detail and sloppiness have deteriorated...often areas are being missed and there is over-spray on exterior surfaces and interior stains. This is an expensive service and not acceptable, need to seriously STEP IT UP, poor quality control. I dont mind paying top dollar for top product and service but this needs to significantly improve....word of mouth is king.

I purchased a 2020 Yukon a week ago from Walser GMC Buick Dealer in Bloomington MN. I was iffy about getting the service but due to the winter time arriving, I wanted my vehicle to be protected from the elements. Long story short, the paint on my car is now ruined with scratches. The interior looks the same as if it had not been wiped down before they applied the protectant. I left a couple of spots in there just to see. I had a funny feeling about this place but the sales pitch made it sound like the right thing to do. The work done on my vehicle is horrible. I spent $1100 for the full rust proof service, only for my vehicle to be ruined. Its the total opposite of what they said it will be. Very disappointed!!!

Nothing good to say. Nothing lines up correctly there is oil marks all over the body did the full protectant sealant from rust and everything it is the worst job I have ever seen in my life had this done on another vehicle from a different location not one flaw in the whole entire thing on that vehicle did this vehicle and I can see everything the worst job ever.

My new car was not technically ceramic coated. They use a lesser product in Auto Armor that goes on like a foamy car wash. Which is not ceramic coat. The PPF was from a kit and not in bulk. Which means the edges arent folded under. Instead they come up short and will collect dirt and other debris over time. Not to mention its not uniform and even. Take it from someone that used to do this for a living, this is sub par work and an even worse product. Have it done right and take it to real professionals that actually use ceramic coat. This was purchased by me through a dealership and was a huge mistake. Now I have to have it corrected.

Always prompt and courteous. Not necessarily cheap, but they never try to up sell you something you don’t need. So overall pricing becomes pretty reasonable. And their work is always absolutely top quality.

I bought the best vehicle protection package available though a dealership. P & Ls tech picked up my vehicle, brought it to their shop, and returned it to me the next day, damaged. They refused to acknowledge that the damage happened in their care, giving us video of the time the vehicle was there, which was cut to pieces, and missing time frames. Numerous employees acknowledged that the damage was not there when the vehicle was taken in, the owner put a quick stop to the employees care, and went cold. I am absolutely amazed that this business has not been sued to the point of bankruptcy after reading their reviews. They should be ashamed and embarrassed by the way they operate.

I know someday we will have an issue that may arise as it is part of business, but I am confident it we do have a problem it will be resolved professionally. Ive had 3 of my cars rust, paint and fabric protected by P & L over the past many. Their products are great. My car is rust free and the paint still looks great. I recently came back to add 3M clear shield bra to protect the front and door cups to my newest car. Thanks for helping to keep my cars rust free.

I just had rust proofing done on my truck trough a local dealership that uses these guys. After a day and a substantial cost that paid at time of purchase, I noticed after getting my vehicle back that it seems they went out of their way to do a half of the job:- They did not spray the rocker panel ledgewhere all salt and debris collects and tried their BEST not to touch the entire frame of the vehicle!!! I brought it back to the dealership and showed it to them ...they were at a loss for words. Another day back to P&L to get it fixed (I hope ..havent been under my vehicle yet...snowing) .When I asked my dealership what their (P&L) explanation was...NOTHING!!!If you plan to (dont recommend) use these guys or already did, double check their work!!! I was told that there hasnt been much complaints about their work...but how many people are making sure theyre getting what they have paid for?!!!!!

I went in to have undercoating touched up They were right on time, courteous and professional. A walk around inspection of vehicle was performed before they drove it into the shop. Once on the lift, Steve (Shop Manager) escorted me into the shop and together we looked over the vehicle. I showed him my original concern (wheel well area that was basically sandblasted by dirt/sand during normal driving) and he had his tech touch it up on the spot Then he inspected the remainder of the vehicle and touched up a few more areas that I was unaware of. The vehicle was then washed and dried and returned to me in better condition than when I arrived.I had a great experience and would highly recommend P&L Automotive.

Seriously impressed. Had them do a full package of clear shield and the entire environmental package (rust, paint and interior protection). I was quoted two full days for completion which was understandable as it is a lot of work. I was blown away when it came back after only 8 hours. It looks perfect and it was done in half the time. I am amazed. Great job team!

I did a lot of research before purchasing my protection package. I found that P & L Automotive provided the best value for what I was looking for and they were incredibly easy to work with. The customer service was second to none and I highly recommend them. I also liked the fact that they have a loaner program which made the process very easy. My Chevrolet Silverado 2500 looks amazing. Got rust protection through the dealership. Time will tell with the job that was done, but no complaints so far.The good:- They have a pick up service. They were a fair distance from my house, but offered a pickup service. Not sure if that would cost someone extra if you didnt purchase through dealership, but it was nice nonetheless.- The two guys who picked up and dropped off my car were extremely nice - very cheerful and informative.- The also cleaned/washed the car. Im sure that thats standard procedure for rust protectant, but it was a nice surprise.The not-so-good:- Whoever I spoke to on the phone about scheduling wasnt pleasant, I felt as if I was an annoyance.- Upon initially scheduling, they said they would call before 15ish min before the person came to pick up the vehicle, and that they would be there within the 2 hour window. However, I never received a call and the driver was sitting outside for a few minutes before we realized it, and he was there before the 2 hour window - which would have been fine, but we needed to know.- I would have appreciated detail on what exactly was going to happen. We had no idea that the car was going to be cleaned, so they ended up moving a bunch of personal items, and leaving them on the front seat. Also removing the car-seat and not putting it back (which I kind of understand, but at least let us know). This was we could politely refuse the cleaning, or at least remove any personal items.Overall, I think the service was fine, the techs were nice, but the communication was not up to snuff.

Purchased this product through a dealership and would never do it again. The package I purchased included a paint sealant. I believe my vehicle was scratched after the paint sealant was applied and contacted the company. They stated because I didnt call the same day or day after they couldnt help me. Clearly their paint sealant product doesnt work as well as they state. I was told the paint sealant does not cover scratches, however that is not what it states under the product on their website.

I had a warranty for the undercoating on my 2014 Chevy Silverdo. My warranty had expired a couple thousand miles past $100k and they still honored it! Vicki was very helpful and I am very grateful. This is now my third vehicle I had the protection package put on and I have to say that the customer service is fantastic. They picked up my Truck and brought it back to me. It looks great!!About the product itself, I have a 2002 Prius that was the first car I put the rustproofing and interior package on and it still has no rust on it and no stains on the upholstery.I am very impressed with the product and the workmanship at P&L.I will never go without as long it as I drive in Minnesota winters.

Bought the rust protection, interior protection and paint protection. Car was picked up and returned in less than 10 hours. This would be awesome and high rated if they actually did good work. The interior was leather and you could tell where they didnt go under seatbelt straps, middle seat strap and just spotty all over the leather. Husband called and they said to bring it in but we decided to do it to our standards. Now after washing car after waiting the allotted time, as I was drying the under part of side trim there is brown goo all over. It appears to be the rust protection for the underbelly. I spent two hours using tar and bug remover to get this removed. I also noticed it is on my rims as well. For them not to notice this is surprising. I can only hope the product itself is better then the service.

The service I had done was from several months ago, but it does not change the outcome. I purchased my vehicle from a dealership and choose to go with the 3m shield. The Dealership utilizes P&L for this service. I was extremely satisfied with the product, the overall installation time, and pick-up/ drop off of my vehicle.I have never used P&L before this and I was pleasantly surprised with their great service and professionalism.I am now looking at tinting my windows and will be a repeat customer.

I have nothing good to say about P&L.I purchased an environmental protection package through the dealership, the most premium one they offered because they recommended it, even though it was very expensive.From the start, communication with P&L was discourteous, but the day they serviced my vehicle was awful. Late pickup, incredibly late drop-off (I was assured again and again by multiple people that my car would be back by 5 when I get off work, didn’t arrive until 5:45). They don’t even answer their phone it just bounces you from voicemail box to voicemail box. No apology whatsoever for their lateness, except by the poor driver who has no blame in this.Didn’t receive any kind of bill of work or warranty info, was just told to contact the dealer for those things. Would you pay $1000 for something and not expect at least a description of work done?Looks like I’m in good company from the other reviews here, so maybe take our advice and don’t give these guys you hard earned 💵

I was worried after reading negative reviews, so I took a video of the entire walk-around assessment just in case there was any damage.. Thankfully it was not needed! I am more than pleased with the results! They were very professional, finished the car much sooner than expected, and it came back FLAWLESS! I had the interior protection, exterior clear coat, and the rust protection done. I would be very upset if anything happened to my new car, and they definitely handled my vehicle with care. Quick turnaround on vehicle services. A loaner is provided when your car has to remain overnight.I had the 3M film applied to the front of the vehicle in Winter, and as such, the film has some residual bubbles after curing. P&L has been more than willing to fix this issue, however.My only real complaint is that when they were applying rust-preventive foam to the inside of the door panels, they broke some of the spring clips that hold that panel in place, which caused some rattle when my stereo was turned up.

P&L is a strange place, I took 2 of my BMWs and both times my cars was scratch and the work of window tinting sucks, still have noticeable bubbles in the windows. Please guys dont go here. Then I have one of there detail guy offering me his service after hours to come detail my car at my house for $100 bucks and he gave me his phone to call his to make an appointment. Strange place to go to, no good quality at all.

Horrible. My car got worked on to get rust proofing, sealant, and interior protective coating. They picked my car up in the morning at my office and returned it at end of work day. The guy who dropped it off had the back window half way down (it was raining), had the car in Drive but had turned off the car and set the E-brake...as if he never drove a car before.Also, I soon noticed a few problems, may be more I havent discovered yet. 1. Huge scratch on the front hood 2. the back window had a air leak in the seal and you could very noticelably hear air coming in while driving 3. they broke the sun glass holder on the overhead console - but they set it in there so that I wouldnt notice until I went to open it - the plastic clip had be snapped off. They definitely touched all the interior panels and compartments since everything was wiped and cleaned.I called about #1 but they claimed the scratch was there before (which it definitely wasnt) and that they didnt touch the window. I just noticed #3.If you are forced to go through them, be sure to document every aspect of your car beforehand in order to hold them accountable for the damage they will likely do.

Worst place of business I have ever dealt with! Terrible customer service! And they treat the customer that paid them money like dirt!Bought the rust protection package through the dealer I bought my flawless vehicle from. Was told theyd pick up my vehicle from and give me a loaner. Wrong! They made me bring my vehicle to them.When I got my vehicle back I noticed very deep scratches and gouges on the front bumper, grill, bug guard and hood. Once I finally got ahold of someone who could help me they denied it. After a few conversations they agreed to at least look at it. Once they looked at the damage they started to agree with me and agreed to try to buff the damage out and if that didnt work theyd get a body shop involved.The buffing did nothing! And once I told them that they started refusing to do anything further to fix the damage but maybe give me some money(probably just to make me go away).I made an insurance claim with my insurance, and now they are denying they cause any of the damage after agreeing to attempt to fix it, agreeing to get a body shop involved and trying to offer me money. And refusing to any of their information to my insurance company.I basically paid P and L to damage my vehicle!I will be taking legal action, I will never associate myself with them ever again and I will tell every single person I can never to bring their vehicle to them!

I had my 2017 Forester with the full package with rust proofing and the full 3m protective finish. It looked good on the hood and the side mirrors .But, when i was looking at the bottom bumper very closely in a parking lot a few miles down the road i notice a small cut on the right side of bumper and the edges were pealing.

Not only do they not perform the services paid for at the dealership, their employees steal from your vehicles - tools out of the glove box that there was no reason for them to even open. When you call to discuss this, you get a return voicemail full of indignance like youre the one who doesnt know what youre talking about. The work that was done on the exterior was sloppy at best and the vehicle was filthy upon pick up. We will NEVER use P&L again and are asking the dealership to rethink their contract.

This company was paid $1200 to rust proof our brand new vehicle and they CAUSED $1000 in damage to the hood and grill!They have been nothing but rude, argumentative, and inconsiderate to my husband and I.After a month, Im still dealing with this. At this point I have had to get my insurance involved, find their insurance company on my own (as they refused to give me their companys liability information), file a claim with the better business bureau, and likely take them to court.Dont waste your time and money here... see the previous reviews? They have done this countless times and refuse to help the customers that pay them for a service!

Greedy. Do NOT go here especially if you don’t have a brand new car. I bought a used Highlander, only 2 years old, from Walser who has a partnership with P&L, and all either company cares about is selling add-ons. It’s up to you to think of every possible question and scenario to protect yourself. I was focused on the extra warranty I purchased, and wasn’t thinking I would have any issues purchasing the Scotchgard protection for the hood of my car. They make a big deal that bubbles after a few weeks are not normal and have you call back in a month if you see them, which I did, but they had me wait one more month. I still had bubbles, called back, and they had me bring it in. They called me and told me these bubbles weren’t fixable, they were because of previous chips and touch-up paint because my car was used, and that I would have to live with it like that. My car looks perpetually dirty now because of this so I told them to take it off and reimburse me for that part of my service, but of course, they refused. I spoke to Kylene, the service manager, and I asked why someone didn’t tell me this was a possibility? She said it isn’t possible to catch every single nick. Ok. Then, she proceeds to tell me they have used some sort of crayon-type material in the past with touch-up paint that doesn’t make the nicks look perfect but better, and I said to go ahead and do it, and then she said there might be an extra charge to do that because they would have to take the Scotchgard off to redo it and she said she wasn’t sure if it was something they would even do because there were so many little dings. Umm, so which is it? You can’t possibly catch every nick or there are too many nicks to do it? This is exactly why I can’t stand salespeople. They don’t give you the full story until after you make the purchase, and they just cross their fingers hoping you’ll just get tired of arguing and go away. So moral of this story, if you don’t have a brand new vehicle with absolutely no dings, do NOT get Scotchgard, you’ll regret it. And do you really want to work with people who are shady like this?

Had my truck undercoated through a local dealership. They sent it to P & L auto. Most of the previous negative reviews would sum up mine on the poor quality of work. They dont treat the rust thats there. Just spray over it. Already peeling off in 3 days. Overspray on body paint. Missed a bunch of spots....etc.... I certainly wouldnt use them.

Amazing! I had a great experience when my used Kia Sportage was done here. They picked it up from my work and brought it back better than ever! They even offer loaner cars (I didnt need one since I was at work all day but its still awesome). What other place does that? I had it done almost a year ago and the car still looks better than before I bought it.The customer service was great as well. Super friendly people on the phone and the driver was nice too! Will definitely recommend this to all my friends and family.

I made an appointment for rust protection a week later on a Monday after buying my car through a dealership. The person at the front asked me for my info and then said I was supposed to have come in the Monday before. I was flabbergasted and she proceeded to shrug and say maybe I didnt show up for my appointment then. She was so rude that I told her no, I just got my car on that weekend before that said Monday and in no way was able to contact them on a weekend to set up an appointment for the day or two after I just got my car! She kept shrugging and made no attempt to find a solution. Another lady said the scheduler might have messed up the schedule and had to help me try to fit it in same day.Got my car back. All they (same lady) did was hand me back my keys, gave me the receipt, and told me not to wash my car for the next few days. I had to, once again, go out to find my car amidst all the other cars on their lot (had to find their loaner car the day before by myself when the lady had no clue what the type of car was that I was looking for), luckily I spotted my car easily.Overall, they washed my car and grease my tires. I cant tell how good of a job they did since I cant see my under carriage, but I do have warranty on it. Because of the bad reviews on this place, I DO see some scratches and drippy like paint stains but I dont know If I got it from them. I havent seen their workstations so I dont know how small it is that others got their cars super scratched up. I recommend taking pictures/video of your car before you give it to them.My final comment is: If you HAVE to come here, then you can. Otherwise, take your car and your money elsewhere. Its better than having a front receptionist who lacks customer service and communication skills accuse you of things you havent done. Im definitely not coming back.

I have had two cars go through these guys within the last year.First car was a 2015 Nissan Juke, got that car back with a big chip in the center of the hood, Scratches along the passenger side by the gas cap, front head light and an arc scratch on the black between the two doors on the passenger side. This was in April of 2015Now I just had a 2016 Nissan Rogue go through the same process and told the dealership I was leery of going through them and was told dont worry, they will handle this car with kid gloves this time round. Got my car back with a nice scratch and dent in the drivers side door. Needless to say I am thinking that I am not the only person to have had experiences like this. One very upset customer.

The employee doing the walk around made several comments about how great of shape the car was in, absolutely NO DENTS OR SCRATCHES, and made no notes about previous damages/scratches/chips, etc. When I returned to pick up my car, the first thing I did was do a walk around and immediately noticed a deep scratch/dent in the back bumper of the car. I pointed it out and the employee eventually brought out the manager. The manager promptly did a walk around and tried to point out every other possible knick, dust fleck, absolutely any other flaws in the car before returning to talk about the dent I was pointing out. The manager then proceeded to go into a description about their process and how they COULDNT POSSIBLY have made that dent, it was simply impossible. He was rude, arrogant, and gave the impression that he couldnt believe I was wasting his time with this nonsense. He said the only reason he would take responsibility for it was because it wasnt listed in the pre-inspection paperwork. Well...thats because it WAS NOT THERE when it was inspected when I dropped the car off. Eventually, he said the only thing they could do would be to put touch up paint on it, but they had to order the exact kind and would call me when it was in. I of course have not heard back from them, and make no mistake about it, that when they do call, I will NOT be returning. I do not want this business to be in anywhere near my car in any way. Listen to all the reviews that talk about cars going in perfect, and coming out damaged. A terrible, terrible business. Friendly at first when all appears well, but at the smallest sign of a problem, the rude arrogance appears. YOUVE BEEN WARNED. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE.

My car came back damaged of course they deny it. Look at the recent reviews they are doing this to everyone. Brought them a brand new car 200 miles on the clock and it was all scraped up on the underside of one wheel well and there was a gouge out of the paint. The only thing they offered me was several ways this could have happend (not by them of course). You always know when someone is lying when they have stories. Very unlikely that both i and the dealer missed this damage when taking the car in on delivery last week and i have not hit anything. Reported this to my dealer and they said this car was perfect even offered to repair it for free and will be reconsidering sending there customers over here. I also showed my dealer the recent reviews of other peoples cars being damaged. What goes around comes around. They never had me do a walk around of my car before taking it in either witch is supposed to be done as well. I also never got the call telling me my car was damaged untill 5 hours after i dropped it off. The damage is definitely something I would have felt/heard if I where to have done it driving it myself. Also there is somehow no damage to the wheel itself. Lift?

Got the rust proofing done on my truck and when I got my truck back I was not happy at all they for got to spray the front part of my truck and also I was missing a couple things from my truck that I notice right away and I called them and they said that they did not remove any of those thing and basically they are not going to do any thing about. to the people that get work done make sure you look over you vehicle and make sure every thing is how it was.

I have had rust protection applied on multiple cars as well as 3M clear shield applied to my current car with them and they always do a fantastic job! My car has always came back cleaner than before and was always done on time.

P & L Automotives website advertises rust proofing, but when you call to inquire, they tell you they only work through dealers. They wont sell to the general public. I spoke to two different people, so it wasnt just someone who didnt know. I was also told they no longer do detailing which is also advertised on the website. :(

Got my Tundra back with a scratch in the trimming and gauge cluster glass. Undercoating was over sprayed on my valve covers and manifold. When the undercoating gets hot the smell gets into the cab. Had a guy come and look at it and had an excuse for every complaint I had. Even accused me of putting the scratch on the trim!

Took it in to get rust proof came back with a huge crack on the front bumper called them and they told me they would get back to me the next day because the shop manager had left for the day. Never take your car there and dont trust the dealerships that want to send your car there either.

There employees are thieves stole my spare set of cabin keys from my Center Council that there was no reason they should have been in when they were just doing paint protection undercoating and Scotch guarding the seats then when asked about it their shop manager was very rude and told me they have no liability
