This place is like the city and the rental office doesnt in force anything they tell you police everywhere all the time
Ive been living in Windsor Valley for 4 years and I must say Ive had the best experience at this community. The management team handles all my concerns in a timely/ professional manner. I feel safe and comfortable in my unit and to me that is very important. I love the new washer and dryer in the 3bedrooms!!!! Nicole and Jessica both run this property very well. oh and Lin is the best at what she does-- and she knows HUD rules very well (she is an asset to this community) !!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work. Thank you for all that you do!
Been living here for four years now and honestly it’s a toss up the pricing for living is the best in a 20 mile radius the quality of the units are exceptional for what they are charging the community is good for the most part excluding a few bad eggs but that’s literally where the good feedback stopsManagement is terrible..I fully support what others have stated about the individuals that run the leasing office (every bit is true)..they are rude, they do lose important personal information, they do speak down to you, they do have trouble answering phone calls at times and they literally lost some of my rent one time and made me pay the difference (IVE NEVERBEEN LATE OR SHORT IN THE ENTIRETY OFME LIVING THERE)Also if you run into issues where your unit is flooded or your a/c breaks down with a code red heat index you’ll literally be pulling teeth and calling an excessive amounts of time before the issue is resolved/fixed (this is my personal experience)..also they really don’t tell you this before you sign your lease but maintenance can just roll into your house whenever they need to without your permission (this also has happened to me)..So hopefully this helps people going forward
I no longer want to live here. Staff is rude, never an swer the phone, and they make you come to the office very often because they’ve misplaced something (paperwork, rent money, etc) it’s crazy. I am in a ONE BEDROOM with my husband and our daughter and we haven’t been transferred to a two bedroom yet. It’s been two years. I can’t wait until our lease is up in a few months because we’re out of here. Maintenance will tell you they’re going to fix something and never do. When they leave they leave behind a mess, they’re not too neat. They seem like decent people, it’s just that they take forever to fix things. Unless you call the emergency line. Never anywhere to park because of all the handicap spots! And people who don’t live around here take up parking spots as well. My neighbors (both of them) smoke and it comes through the vents, the weed and cigarette smell is horrible and very strong and has caused problems for myself, and my family. I’ve complained numerous times. They don’t care. Also the water is pretty dirty and they’re always cutting the water off. Not much cabinet space, and a list of other things. I could go on and on about management, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.I only gave three stars because the good thing about this place is, they keep it clean outside and no major bug or mice problems. I’ve heard of a few people having mice but the issue was taken care of right away.
Bug and pest free. The kids can play outdoors safely. The community for the most part is friendly and looks out for each other. Yhe downside... Management is horrible! Nicole treats tenants like they are beneath her and Jessica has a horrible attitude and seems like she is trying to put everyone out. Like she forgot she to used to live here. You ask management a question and they act like you are bothering them.
Office is very unprofessional and nasty to tenants. They do not care about the people who live here and treat them like dirt. As if we are beneath them. I do not know if its because we are low income or if its because the community is mostly minorities. It is discrimination either way. We should be treated with just as much as respect as anyone else. There is a lot of corrupt business going on in the office. Ex: Rent being lost and then found when the tenant shows a receipt from their money order. They misplace confidential paperwork with your SS#, bank statements, etc... Which is a violation of our privacy. The community itself is not bad. There are minor things here and there but nothing in comparison to what we have to deal with in the rental office. There is always this underlying threat of retaliation if you do complain or exercise your rights as a tenant. They take advantage of the fact that many tenants can not afford to live elsewhere so they tend not to speak up for themselves out of fear of retaliation. The tenants are growing very tired of this disgusting behavior and I believe corporate needs to be involved at this point.
They never answer there phones.. Ive called atleast 10 times on 2/22/19 to get ahold of the rental office and still no reply.. not very good customer service at all.. Im trying to move in because of a situation Im in and they tell me 5 different things each time I get ahold of them.
Raised and live on the other side of the tracks so when I started dating someone that lives there I was a lil apprehensive when I found out it was meadowood .Yea I heard about these low income apartments before .. But to be quite honest the people that live there are just trying to make their bills and survive just like anyone else . When I visit her, the neighbors wave and are friendly. At night it seems quiet .. the apartment she has for the foremost is clean and bug/pest free .I have seen in the last few months construction teams redoing the apartments and installing playgrounds which is good for the kiddos in the area . I do notice at times police presence in the complex, but mostly chatting with other officers on their downtime.More police presence is good as a deterrent ..To sum the place up ..If you are on a budget and or a young person just starting out I would say OK on moving in .. I would highly recommend more landscaping for eye candy /appeal . the front /entrance apartments look presentable than the back foremost area of the complex . More outside curb appeal would be recommended..
No one answers the phone also some of the staff where unpleasant to me..
You get what you pay for. I suppose if you live in subsidized housing, you cant expect much. But you can expect SOMETHING, right? The front office staff is horrible. The phone line is off 75% of the time & the admin office (which already has inconvenient hours) closes early almost EVERY TIME I go down there. They take forever to get paperwork done for you, the maintenance phone line is also off most of the time (forcing you to leave a message on the emergency maintenance line during regular business hours), the maintenance staff takes forever to get things done, residents are loud and blast music in their cars as they drive by at all hours of the night, and when you complain to Edgewood Management Corp (the company who owns Windsor Valley) about it, youll talk to a guy named Terrence Kelley who does nothing but make excuses for these losers. Dont move here.On the bright side, it is clean & pest-free, & obviously affordable.
Horrible service never answering the phones.
Jessica is trying to kick out every one!!!
Love it thanks
Not bad
