I stopped by to pick up an online order. My items were ready and phenomenal! But, I have to say Im disappointed with the shopping experience at the store. Prices listed on shelves are slightly [$1 or so] lower than the ones on the check-out. If you are that type of person who doesnt even care about checking each items price before paying for it, disregard this comment!!! I always work on budgets and even $.50 cents worth a lot for my pocket.

This party city has no life to it.. no people to greet you an not a lot of people to help you around the store. Sai the manager hired me to be a part time worker an he kept forgetting my name an kept asking me my age. He couldn’t even be on time for my interview or to fill out my paper work I kept waiting an waiting the longest time for him.. very unprofessional work environment. Didn’t accept the job to work there cause I didn’t feel comfortable working there with the people or this manager. Nobody has customer service skills or knows manners. Need a lot of improvements an truly needs to managers. The workers that walk around the store don’t even ask u how u are or if they can help you they just walk right by. It’s not a place you would expect to be treated like this at.. this is supposedly a well know family store but it doesn’t seem like it at all.. very poor customer service an this store needs to be put under new management. An the prices of the items an products are very costly. . The prices need to go down also. This store needs to be fixed .. period !!!

Went this evening to get balloons, first time in a Party City and simply wont be back.Served by Cynthia who had a negative attitude the whole time we were choosing and sorting our balloon combination. She unfortunately assumed we were buying a bouquet of balloons but just wanted 1 balloon filled and the other 6 not meaning she would have to charge us again to fill the other 6.Luckily another member of staff took over from her but didnt stop her standing in the background shaking her head in annoyance and rolling her eyes whilst we tried to finish up.

Really shocked to see so many bad reviews about this location. Luckily, Ive had a great experience last week. On 5/22, Ive placed an order for curbside a little after 4pm. I was given an estimated pickup time for 5/23 @11am after completing my order. The next day on 5/23, I was waiting for my order processing status to be updated because I had to get to a birthday party by 2pm. I was in a hurry and I couldnt wait no more, so I called the store. This lady picked up the phone and she told me my order would be ready by 4pm. Ive asked her since my order contains only 2 items if she can please kindly help me out by expediting the order. Then she said you only have 1 item in your order. I told her I have one order with 2 items purchased. I told her I can gladly show her my email confirmation, credit card authorization etc. She put me on hold then another lady got on the phone and finalized everything. I was even able to pick up my order in 10 mins!! I can tell that BOTH of the ladies really tried to help me out because it was a first birthday for a very special princess. Thank you so much!!!!! Both of you ladies really helped in making the party a success and an unforgettable event. If these ladies did not help me out, I wouldnt have been alive to leave this review :)ps - Party City charged me for 2 items so I did not get anything for free just in case upper management gives these ladies a difficult time by assuming I was only charged for 1 item.

I would not recommend curbside service from this location. I understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic, so I as a parent I am trying to make my TEENAGE daughter’s birthday experience special. I ordered balloons, honestly who wants to spend money on things like this now ...BUT I’m trying for her. I called the store, gave my name and they placed the items in the trunk... great, except for the fact that they did not give me all of my items. Now, people make mistakes, that’s understandable. So I call and ask to be refunded for items I did not receive, the general manager “Ehab” did not take ownership of their mistake and tells me that I cannot get my refund back until they reopen the store. Wow, you can take my money instantly but cannot tell me when I can be refunded for your poor customer service. Next time, I should just call the nearest dollar store.

Went to Party Citys website to order balloons for my sons birthday. I wanted to do curbside pick up from the Edgewater NJ store. Nothing but issues trying to get a pick up there. Called the store and spoke to Cindy the store manager. Wobt rake the order over the phone and keeps directing me to the website. Try telling her that there are nothing but issues but apparently customer service isnt a priority to her. I will find someplace that will value me as a customer instead. Nothing but fusturation last time Im trying them considering they were dependable.

Terrible customer Service!! False advertisement on curbside pick up online! Purchased 3 days ago received an email saying its ready for pick up the next day. Went to the store to pick up was approached by an asian employee and all he had to say we arent doing curbside! Party took my money no one from the store contacted me to tell me there isnt curbside pick up you just accept my order tell me its ready and its not??!! What fraud! Im expecting full refund!!

This is a pretty big Party City location. You can find pretty much anything you need there. Large selection of party favors, candies, costumes, cards and wrapping paper, and more. I am always pleased when I visit.

Only gave it one stare because I could give it none. In my entire life I have never experienced worse customer service. I was there to pick up balloons for a birthday party.not only were they not ready but I was informed that they wouldnt be ready as they were out of helium .I started off talking to an associate and she was so rude I asked for her manager which was also know how the problem was unresolved and I had to go elsewhere to get my balloons blown up I will never shop at this party city ever again

I’m just giving them one start because I can’t give them less. The store manager is so rude and unprofessional. Never going back to that store. They have false advertisement in some ITEMS where they have a price and when you go down to the cashier is another one. When you asked the manager she answer like is your fault and not theirs. Really bad experience today.

We got helium balloons the night before a birthday party, and they stopped floating in the morning. Service is slow, cashier attended other customers while filling our balloons which resulted in a 15 minute wait after purchase for 7 balloons. The store is pretty big.

This party city is open 7 days a week. Easy access and ample parking spaces.They take balloon orders in advance to customizing wedding invitations etc.Seasonal holiday costum shop takes place during the month of October.

Ive been calling this store for an hour straight, letting the phone ring out. Not one person answered the phone call, every other store called had an employee answered immediately. But not this one

Unacceptable customer service, I’ve been going to Party city in Manhattan for past 3 years. Every year for my child birthday visited the Edgewater location to be then informed Party City does not blow up store balloons... unreal... I will surely escalated this issue all the way to upper Management. Very very poor service.

They need more staff on the weekend. They only had 1 cashier on register on a weekend. Poor girl she was friendly and nice and handle the line accordingly.

I got what i wanted but the cashier was a male and very rude....while i was on line to pay he came to me and asked me the most stupid question and very rudely, what do i want...is he so stupid, people standing in a line for payment. The manager has to deal with him as party city will loose customers....i cannot go there again

Wanted to give no stars 0... This location never wants to answer the phones, they take there phones off the hook! Almost anytime of year! I always try and give them another go and when I call I am let down again. Phone gives me a busy signal. Since this is a constant with this specific location, why cant there be a product finder for this specific store, that a potential customer like me can enter a said product and see if this store has it available. Would make it very convient for someone who doesnt drive and would like to save myself money on a wasted trip there to find out they no longer carry what Im looking for. Or you, the cooperate heads could just demand that they stop taking the phones off the hook during business hours! I know they deliberately do this because I had called back in April for something and got a busy signal, and I called multiple times in a 1 hour period and got that usual busy signal. Well later that day I decided to call this location up after theyre closing hours to see if I still got a busy signal and what would you know only then did the phone actually ring!!! NOT the usual busy signal I got only during their business hours! So a customer product finder for this location would be greatly appreciated to compensate for the management taking the phones off the hook during business hours. I hope that you cooperate heads take your potential paying customers reviews into consideration and threaten management and staff with termination if they continue to do this during hours of operation at that Party City is open for business . Place order a day before of balloons for my daughter 21st bday, at party city next day I went to store to pick up balloons. An employees and supervisor informed us that they run out of helium and they couldn’t do our balloons even thou we place order yesterday at 11.00 am. Their explanation was, we can fill balloons with regular air seriously!!! This was unacceptable coming from a place like party city’s.

Worker overcharged and no apology heard. Can make a mistake but better know how to handle it.

This store does not pick up the phone. It is December and they still have a Halloween getting on the voicemail. One of the employees told us that the phones are not working “intermittently” and they answer the phones when they hear them.

I bought balloons a day before my daughters bday and asked them to have it ready for a pick up the next day. But when I got there they were not ready. As a matter of fact, it wasnt even on the list and the manager had to look for my package while I was waiting. Since I had about 30 ballons including 10 special ones I knew I will be late and was very VERY upset.However, I decided to give 4 stars because the manager was really apologizing and he was trying his best to make things better. I was impressed how he handled the situation. I wasted about 30 min because of Party Citys mistake AND was late for bday set up.. but surprisingly, I wasnt that upset.

Like every other Party City. All types of costumes, candy, and treats for whatever party occasion youre having. What I did see was candy that I hadnt seen since I was a child which was pretty coll other than that another costume store.
