I have been to multiple UPS stores in different states including New York City for notary and THEY ARE FREE OF CHARGE!I went to this UPS store today and after the employee notarized my document he asked me for $2.50! And he said CASH ONLY! I didn’t have cash with me that day and asked if I could use credit card instead but they refused. Then they kept all my documents and asked me to get cash and come back to pay.I finally got some changes and paid them, got my documents back. I believe charging for notary is not normal so I called UPS to report this store. Unfortunately they told me any franchise UPS stores can set up their own pricing.So I suggest everyone who lives nearby, if you need something notarized, do not go to this UPS store. Find any bank nearby.

Typically nice staff and service. Today I went in with my dog in a sling bag (he is not touching the ground). A guy gave me an irritated look and said brusquely, ‘No dog allowed’. While my dog was not bothering anyone, I had no interest in interacting with someone like that. Will never use this UPS again.

Got here around 2pm to find a sign saying that the store will reopen at 2:52pm. There was a line of customers outside waiting to be seen. A lot of Amazon returns were turned away. We were told that this store is not accepting Amazon returns rn. To make matter worse the employee had a bad attitude towards the understandably frustrated customers and even had some smart *ss comments for one of the ladys waiting in line.

I visited the store on August 17 and had very bad experience as I was mistreated by one of the workers Yalithzel. I had questions about printing services. I printed 17 pages however I did not understand the charge as they charge per page + per minute to use the computer to print. I tried to ask workers to explain. Yalithez was very rude and disrespectful including calling me sarcastic names. I was there with my 2 years old and 7 years old boys who witnessed the situation among with customers walking in and out. Finally, I left all the copies behind and left the store even though my cc was charged. I will never be back at this store. There are no clear instructions regarding the printing services and employees that work there are not helpful and rude.

For some reason, this is really the only UPS store I have bad experience with. It is consistently terrible, I dont know how this happens. Every time I go, there is a huge line. When there is such a long line, one would think to try minimize wait times. The staff is rude, inconsiderate, and quite honestly indifferent whether there is a long line or not. One staffer would literally spend 20 minutes talking to a customer about nothing, meanwhile the other staffer just stands at register not even trying to assist the customer. All this is occurring while you are on a line with 10 ppl in front of you and 10 people behind you. I try my best to avoid this place at all cost.

These guys and gals are the best!Not only are they super efficient and timely with their jobs, but the last two times specifically I came in they were like family!Never have I ever gone to really any place of business outside of a restaurant and received FREE slices of pizza. What?! Haha!Also the very last time they hooked it up with some free Jersey Mike’s subs coupons that opened up next door.I hardly leave reviews but I owe it to these fine UPS workers for truly going above and beyond 🙏🏻

I visited the store yesterday (9/1) and had horrible experience over there. The young lady was very rude, unprofessional, and impatient: she mistreated my files and dont allow for complaints. She does not care what you want and doesnt even care to listen to your questions! The work ended up all mistreated and returned. Absolutely avoid unless you want spend several days on a 5-min thing!

I want to personally say Thank you to the store manager Lenzell in the Edgewater store. He did exactly what any store should strive to do daily that’s HELP any client that walks into that store. He took his time explaining to me & even showing me on my phone how to process what I came to the store to do. I appreciate the time & customer service. I just moved to the area & this will be my go to UPS store thanks to the way he runs this store. Once again, thank you to Lenzell.

I have 0 clue why the workers here hate their jobs. They are rude over the phone for absolutely no reason and rush to get off the phone after 1 simple question. They usually struggle to answer the 1 simple question as well. Hate going here. Please hire some people who dont hate their lives

Avoid this store, they dramatically overcharge for packing. I had a prepaid shipping label for a RMA frying pan, all I needed was a box and a little packing material. They charged me $21 for essentially a box and some packing paper. Another time I went here and they wouldnt print out a shipping label I had and the computer was not working. Yet another time I went with a prepaid label to ship a pair of sneakers and they wanted to overcharge me for a box.Very much seems like the franchise owner is taking advantage of customers because of the location and relative affluence in the area. I used to go to UPS Store in another area of NJ and the prices were never as high as they are here. Totally suspect and untrustworthy.

It was good experiences. I always use this branch when i want to send something by mail. Ofcourse it provides more services than mailing one, like printing or buying packing materials. They have fast and friendly customer service. Plenty of parking spots outside.

The people who work here work very hard and there is usually a line out the door. my experience has been that the workers are friendly and want to be helpful but when they are overworked with a line out the door and no sign of help from the owner i can understand an occasional frown. I think people should come prepared with their boxes taped and ready to go. Amazon offering returns to be taped and boxed is not good for the rest of us who do come prepared and just want to get out of there.

Awful! Two people talking and only one employee making labels. A guy that works there thinks he’s funny and offering his arm to walk me over. To the counter! Very inappropriate behavior with customers! If he’s the store manager, he’s terrible!!!!

To answer its own commercial:You forgot rippING people off!brought in an amazon return with its own box and all I needed was two stips of tape. Without greeting me, the so-called manager, told me it was $2 for the tape. I tried to reason with it, but it gave me more attitude.A young man who was there (staff), so perplexed by the situation, asked me to come over to him with the intention to provide the tape, also providing a good experience. But that thing (so-called manager) insisted that he mustnt; so he did not.

Just moved to Edgewater last month and I run a small business online.I’ve been using UPS to deliver packages to my customers for over 20 years. This location when I drop off packages do not seem to leave the store. When I check tracking a week would go by and the item has not even been scanned as accepted and packages do not move. I have over 25 packages some sitting from last week still not moving. I’ve tried to get my packages back and the manager refused saying they can not look through a week of boxes for my packages. I don’t know if he lost them or stole them.Has anyone else experienced this here?

Online it states that UPS provides USPS services such as certified letters and return receipts which was what I needed. I called this location to verify and was told “yes we do that”. So I went there and when I asked the woman looked at me like I was crazy. I said “I just called and asked to make sure and was told yes” the woman then says “oh that was me, I thought you wanted stamps”. They should train their staff better. It was a completely pointless trip and could have been avoided if the woman took the time to actually verify that they did services instead of just saying “yes” when I called.

Do not go to this location!! We did next day shipping and 2 days passed still not delivered! If you are not gonna give guarantees to us, you will not gonna sell next day shipping! No one explain to us this is not guaranteed and they didn’t give refund. Basically they charge 30 dollars for next day shipping but they giving us 5 dollars service!!! Disappointed!!!

Nice people good area. Only thing I wish for They told me that the print outs would cost me $3. I would have asked a buddy of mine to print it out instead of paying $3 for something that will cost me pennies to do myself. My favorite part is they have to do to different types of print outs. A regular print out to print out the label and then to scan the label to print it out to stick it on. Funny enough fedex doesnt charge on this.

If you have to drive longer, to use this particular store, do it without thinking . This store accommodates you like no other UPS store. Last minute before store closing help, without any problem here. They are so sweet, you always feel welcome .They don’t let you feel confused for one minute, they try to explain and to help right on the spot.I would put 6 stars if I could for this UPS location

I had previously been to this store a few times with no issues. I recently had a regrettable experience with a rude and cantankerous fellow named Gustavo. I walked into the store and greeted him with a “hello, how are you?”. Silence. I pointed out to him that I was greeting him and he simply refused to return the courtesy. Forgive me, and perhaps I am old fashioned, but the first rule of good customer service is to make your clients feel welcome in your establishment. Perhaps it was the color of my shirt, or the color of my skin or some other issue but this person decided for whatever reason to treat me with hostility and contempt simply because I extended him a common courtesy. As a small business owner myself, I cannot imagine if anyone of my employees behaved that way. Summary termination would be the result. Gustavo’s farcical behavior, including his statement that “I could take my business elsewhere” indicates a clear lack of respect for the owner of this business and for Gustavo’s own source of income. As any good entrepreneur knows, every customer counts! A little bit of professionalism and appreciation for the job he has would go a long way in making Gustavo a better human being and better ambassador for this establishment.The response from the “owner” says it all. Transphobic? Wow! How truly sad. Never mind Gustavo, you are a bastion of perfection and did no wrong. Please forgive my transphobia....

As a customer I have the right to complain your price and let more people know. I have been to other UPS stores in Hudson County for printing, why they never charge like you?
