🤣Great Place!!! 100% knows what their doing. FAST service. Sanded both heads and liquid test in front of me all under an hr. I got desperate Subaru wanted $3500 to do my 96 head gaskets. Kids & I ripped car down ourselves You Tube A1auto suggested MACHIEST from Machice Shop. So I did lots of research & calls everywhere wanted $320 and up. Except CHS MACHINE SHOP $100 for both 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂

I was on Google looking for a local machine shop to bore my yamaha blaster cylinder out for my new piston.I have howard a call and he got me right in. I dropped my cylinder of to him, and a couple hours later he called letting me know if was done and I could pick up. Great customer service. He listens to what you need and have to say . Theres some other places around that day things like, I have big jobs to work on and push my little dinky cylinder to someone else, but howard took great care of me right then. Took our marine heads in for checking out and making sure they were good. He looked at them and told us not to leak check because there were no hours on these heads. He fixed only what needed to be fixed. We need more honest people out there who actually only want to fix what is wrong. I work at subaru of daytona and I just handed out his number to a mechanic that may need heads refinished in the near future. When you do good work and dont BS people word of mouth can help a business. Thank you sir!

I called Howard just before Christmas after calling around to all the known machine shops who were either closed or booked out past New Years and Howard told me to bring in my cylinder head which had pretty extensive damage and he was able to bore it and clean it up and set the piston and gap at an affordable price. He didn’t make me wait and was patient while I had to order the piston. His knowledge, expertise, and kindness is rare to find from a machinist. I will continue to use him for all my needs.

I would give him 10 stars if I could. After spending 10k on getting my 1936 Packard engine rebuilt by another shop I came to find out that only 3 of the 16 valves were seating correctly. Chs machine shop saved my 100k plus car by coming out to the house and installing new valve guides and grinding the existing seats. Without chs machine my car would be just an expensive paper weight. I would highly recommend chs machine shop to anyone and everyone! Thank you for saving the day. Super nice gent with a great sense of humor to boot. Absolutely amazing.
