Absolutely no customer service skills. no apologies for running behind. no hello. good morning. no small talk. never saw such a poorly run place. wish i could go elsewhere.
Thank you for your time and kindness! Clean place and good people working there! Thank Angela B and Colleen for amazing service!!
The receptionist, Coleen, as well as the phlebotomist, Angela (on duty Monday, 8/2/2021, early am, in case I got their names incorrect), were both very kind, helpful, and efficient! I will most definitely be returning to this establishment for any and all future labs! Thanks!
Great staff same lady always does my draw and shes very good.
Very friendly .. down to earth staff .. thanks for your services
I must admit all my dealings with LabCorp at locations in South Florida were problematic and unnerving. So when we were told that my Grandpa was referred to LabCorp in Edgewater I was not looking forward to the trip. However I must say the warm welcome we received when we entered the building was a surprise. We we not only greeted but also reassured that my Grandpa was next in line to be seen. He is 89 years old has dementia, anxiety and prostate cancer and dealing with this day to day is not easy.I am truly grateful for the people that work at the LabCorp in Edgewater, FL. And I am happy to know kindness, patience, and caring respect still exist in 2021. Thank you all for your assistance and for doing what you do!
Along with everyone else in this review section I find the front desk receptionist very rude. She is especially rude if you come in without an appointment. Even with an appointment she acts like your inconveniencing her at best. I came in for a gestational diabetes test and blood work. This is the third test I have had there since pregnant. When I made the appointment I put that I had to fast and the earliest time they had was 11:45. I get there check in from my car, then I get the text that says I Can come in. I get greeted with a “what do you need” and a scowl. I tell her I have an appointment and give her my paper work. She looks at it and tells me she can’t do that test today because they close at 12:30 for lunch. Keep in mind I’m pregnant and I haven’t eaten in about 18 hours at this point, since dinner the night before. She then tells me I can wait until 1:00 and come back since I wasn’t available any other time that week. So instead of just letting me drink the gestational diabetes drink at noon and wait an hour while they are closed, she wants me to wait a hole other hour come back, drink the drink, and then wait a whole other hour to do the blood work? I wouldn’t have had anything to eat until around 2:00/2:30. Are you kidding me? I just left because I was already getting light headed and feeling weak and there was no way I could wait another two hours to eat something. So very unprofessional and inexperienced.
Drawing blood was no problem. Every other aspect of my experience was a nightmare including falsely assuring me I was covered with my insurance. If you have another option for lab work I strongly suggest you take it!!
I have read all of these comments. I guess Ive just caught them on good days. Ive never sat an waited too long. I know Im NEVER gonna walk in an be seen even with an appt. I had an appt. at the DMV at 8:30 didnt get my new license until 11:15
Had my 1st visit here today. Check in kiosk was easy to use. Desk clerk was all business, professional, but not rude. Co-pay for my insurance was $25. Wait time was very short, only one person ahead of me. Lab tech was very personable, and even used a butterfly needle to ensure just one stick as my veins can be tricky. This lab site is convenient and I had an above average experience, no issues.
We waited a little longer than I expected, but I was very pleased with the experience. I took my 5yo there to get blood drawn and the staff was fabulous with her. Alex is who helped us and he made sure to explain everything he was doing and played/talked with her to make it fun. She never cried and she left with a smile on her face.

No problem at all! Scheduled my appointment on-line, went in the morning of my appointment. Checked in via kiosk, was called up to hand in my doctors orders, called back to get blood drawn all in under 15ish minutes! The lady behind the counter was friendly and fast! Definitely recommend...
Very, very rude.Walked out and went to the Port Orange facility.Night and day.
I found the staff courteous, no issues. They do have a kiosk type checkin, which can be frustrating - and the staff will immediately ask you to use it - so this might be an explanation for the complaints about the staff, as the immediate direction as you walk through the door is to use the kiosk. We have a 1 year old - and I was really worried, but the tech Alex really did an outstanding job, was very impressed with his professionalism and confidence drawing blood. I hope this helps for someone else who might have a young child needing labs done - request Alex.
Will never go back. Waited almost 40 minutes to get in. Man proceeds to tell me his name, like he hasnt drawn my blood several times, then knowing he cannot find the big vein in my arm inserts a huge needle into the vein on top of my elbow joint and moves it every which way misses vein, then inserts another huge needle into my hand and proceeds to move it around. AFTER the 5th yell because he was absolutely killing hand, tells me he cant get it and Ill have to wait for the other girl who only had done 2 people in 40 minutes. After waiting another 10 minutes I got my paperwork and left. Quest without an appoint.ent also was o and out in 10 minutesShe told me he should never have used those big needles as he blew my vein on my arm and my hand. I will be bruised for a month. Labcorp people need to be retrained for the customers sake.
Asked ahead of time if they worked with my insurance, and the told me they did... until after services rendered. Then they sent a large bill and threatened collections.I also offered to pay at a discounted rate to meet in the middle since insurance stated the services were worth 10% of what they were billing... and they gave me the proverbial middle finger.Unless you have no options, go elsewhere.
I have a friend rhat had a terrible experience when he went to Edgewater Lab Core . There was a man at the counter when he tried to check in. He is not computer savey and has no idea and didnt want to use computer for other reasons. This person was rude and replied you are no better than anyone esle. What has this healthcare system come to that we make someone do what they dont even understand. I am appauled at this. I have been in the Healthcare for 34 years and am shocked at the way it is now. This person has no business in a job lije this. I hope corporate reafs this.
Been there many times. Generally efficient and have never had a problem.
Supposed to wait in an over three hour long line to turn in a cup of pee. Thats ridiculous. Never will I go here again. I will request all of my lab work to be done at Quest where they dont have unreasonable drop off policies.
I walked in and said good morning to the counter girl and she never responded or looked me in the face. She just blurted out that she needed my insurance card. She still didnt look at me but extended her hand to take my card. She never looked at me through the whole process. Then one of my doctors did not send over a set of orders. She acted like it was my fault. So while I was waiting to be seen I called the Doctors office and had the receptionist on the phone, just them another woman opens the door and said, are you Joseph, I said Yes. Then she gets huffy because Im on the phone and I explain what the situation is and that they are faxing the other orders over right now. So the counter girl tells me she needs my insurance card again and grabs it from me as the other woman slams the door behind me.Not long and I was called to the back by the second woman. Who was holding a cup in the air like she was going to drop it. So I assume its for a urine test. I take the cup and start to look for the facility when she say in a irritated voice The bathroom is right there. Like I should know the buildings floor plan.So when she asked me what arm I wanted blood drawn from I replied I could care lessShe finished and turned away. No goodbyes, or come again, or thank you for using LabCorp. What a coven of nasty witches. No manors or professional decorum what so ever. Also it smelled really bad in there. and the baseboards were all ripped up.It is the absolute worst place Ive been in this area, do not go there!!! They can take Their LabCorp and shove it so far up your *ss that it sticks out your ears!
I have gone here multiple times, the staff is friendly and understanding. Also the office is quite clean and orderly.
Friendly, skilled staff.
If I could have given them a higher waiting if it wasnt for the women behind the counter. She was pretty rude to the older people.
Excellent experience.
Does not accept drug test from employer from this location
First time I waited for over an hour before I left without getting labs done. Should have waited it out... Im back and it is over an hour wait again! Terribly run facility...
