I just got done getting new tires at this location and the mechanic Andrew that was amazing! He had my tires replaced and balanced within 30 minutes. (Uhhh record timing). Thank you Andrew for amazing customer service!!! :) The only place I’ll go to have them work on my car.

I was recommended to go to pep boys in eatontown to see Daniel for set of four new tires. Daniel was very helpful gave me a good deal and a great price for a set of four tires. I had a 1:00 appointment for an oil change. At 1:45 I inquired how much longer. I was told at least another hour an a half. I said that I had a 1:00 appointment. Was told they were busy, so why make an appointment if I have to wait 2 1/2 hours for a 15 minute job. So I left and went to Lube it all, a half mile up the road. I was in and out in 10 minutes. It also was $40 cheaper.

Went to pepboys today for a nail in my tire. Knowing my brakes might need to be done. Well they did. And the price was very reasonable. So know I have new brakes and a fixed tire.Thanks guys....u did a great job.....

This is the worst pep boys store located in Eatontown NJ hands down.NOT ONLY WILL THEY INSULT YOU FOR WERE YOUR FROM.(PENCIL TUCKY)THEY WILL MAKE PROMISES THEY CANT KEEP AND WASTE YOUR VALUABLE TIME Im a traveling superintendent from Pennsylvania and Im in the area working and scheduled a appointment to have a life time aliment for my vehicle. Appointment was set for 8/4/21 @ 5:30 pm so left work early to make the appointment and after getting there was told that there was internet problems and that they would not be able to perform the work this day. So rescheduled for the following day @ 11 am.So again left work and arrived @ 10:30 am and was told it would be 1 hour to 1.5 hours to complete.so went for a walk to the locale lowes store to due some shopping.and returning over a hour later.car was still setting out side.waited in the lounge area for 1 more hour.stepped outside and my vehicle was still not in the shop.Ask the counter guys what was going on he said he would check after returning i was told it would be started in about 20 minutes.I ask for my keys and told them that i had to get back to work the counter guy said sorry about that. so if you have about 4 hours to waste and not get anything done this is the place to go.ThanksCraig

Terrible service and a paid this place at all costs!!! They are a complete scam and have really bad tires!!! I had to take my car back on three separate occasions because the tires were no good. They tell you to come and make you wait there all day after scheduling appointments. Stay far away! Manager never bothered to call us back

Customer Service at the front desk was exceptional! Andrew checked us in . We had gone in for the first responders deal for February and tried something new. They really go out of there way to make a tire change feel like you just had white glove service!

I was there yesterday to get my 4 tires changed and after having it take over 2 hours to get done( which I didn’t mind since there was people ahead of me) I noticed that all 4 of my wheels had deep scratches and metal shaved off. I’m sure that they were just trying to get me out of there since was late and they just wanted to rush it. Not happy with the way they look now

Raj is awesome! Took my jeep to get the power steerings rack and pinion fixed and to assess why my back left tire kept going through a slow leak. The whole power steering system had to be fixed, but he respected my budget noting it would probably be more cost efficient at least for now to refill the fluid instead of just replacing also the power steering pump. On top of that, he addressed the slow leak that had been haunting me by finding a dent in the rim. They sealed it free of charge

Raj (I hope I spelled it right) was fantastic in helping me with my car. Very knowledgeable and thoroughly answered my questions with detailed explanations. I had to change my air intake pipe and battery, which would have been more if I went to the dealership. I did everything online for the appointment and dropped off the keys. Before making repairs, Raj called to explain what his inspection came up with and let me know what the techs would do. After the repairs were completed, he gave me a call, sent me a text on to how to pay via mobile, and then I picked up the cat a few hours later.Fantastic contact free service!!

Everyone was so friendly, and Rob, the guy that I spoke to about my car, was so knowledgeable and just made me feel so comfortable with the whole process! I’m never going anywhere else!

Such a great place. I had no appointment, got four new tires for my SUV and new front brakes and paid nothing, zip, zero, thanks to Raj and his terrific assistant Meghan. They also arranged transportation for me to home and return while the work was done.You just cant get any better than that. They were such pleasant people to do your business and get your vehicle repaired.

I went to the store to do an oil change, I asked if I could do it and when I said I would do it through the uber app with a driver discount, I was told that I would have to schedule another day because today I couldnt do it, bad store I wont be back .

So I came here for tires and possibly brakes. Raj was the employee at the desk when I arrived. He helped me out so much, and was very accommodating to my needs, both financially and time spent waiting. I feel assured that I not only am spending an appropriate amount of money and time.

They explained everything perfectly, ensured that I got the best price, and even helped me obtain a store credit card with 0% financing. I was very appreciative of that as tires and brakes can get rather expensive. The vehicle was ready on time as promised. And, I feel grateful to this particular Pep Boys location for getting my wife back on the road safely. I would definitely bring both of our vehicles back if/when they need servicing. The best pepboys store of all I’ve been to! Especially the store manager Raj is genuinely helpful and not looking to rip u off. Went to get tires changed and the whole transaction went smooth like a breeze! I found labor charges a bit cheaper here than other Peps too.

These guys are great at what they do and the prices are often half what you find elsewhere. Kinda all youre looking for. I go there for both my cars and have consistently been pleased.

Im not from the area and was very stressed when my car started over heating. Everyone at Pep Boys was welcoming and friendly making my experience very stress free. I no longer felt stuck or stranded and I owe that to the staff at pepboys in Eatontown. Thank you for making a bad day a better one!

Large chains shouldn’t be reviewed here on Google. The reviews don’t really give an accurate overall picture like they would for a smaller business because they employ so many people; however, some locations are better than others when the chain is a smaller one.

30 minute wait turns into 2 hours even though I arrived early for “appointment” and nothing extra was needed or completed other than a single tire change (and didn’t bother putting the cover back over the spare and left it in the backseat.) Would not recommend this to an enemy.Edit: As of Friday, 5/25, I have yet to be contacted by anyone even though I received an email on Monday 5/21 at 744a stating I would be contacted within 24-48 hours. I called in today around 445pm to follow up. The rep tried telling me it normally takes 24 business hours, which would have been by end of business Wednesday or Thursday. Still no resolution and I await yet another call that will not come I’m sure.

Went there today for an oil change and an air conditioner fix, which I thought I needed. I wont go into my stupidity, but Raj Singh and the other mechanic told me what my problem was...me. I know a less reputable place would have told me I needed the work Raj initially thought necessary, costing me a few hundred bucks. Instead, I paid for the oil change only. Im more than impressed about his integrity and I would highly recommend them. Thanks again Raj, the other mechanic and the very sweet young lady at the reception counter. When ImReady for new tires, or anything else...Ill be back.

I must say that hands down this Pep Boys has the best management team and service techs around.As the operations manager for a large landscape company this store and their staff have earned my fleet of Landscape trucks due to their tremendous work habits and honesty.I can always know that from every vehicle that Im gonna drop off its done in a timely manner and done correctly the first time.Raj and his crew are hard to come by in this business and Im glad I came across them.

Best place in the long branch area for tires, period. The staff is friendly and helpfull, got a full set of tires 2 months ago, immediately got a screw in my tire less then a week later, no arguments or scoffing, they just fixed it no problems (road hazard warranty) . 2 weeks ago, another tire had a nail in it, they fixed it no problems. I used to go to firestone and had problems everytime, always an argument with them resulting in sub par service, and they always overfilled the tires with air.. Pep boys eatontown always filled them correctly to spec of the vehicle... like i said, best place... period. Dont bother going anywhere else.

Thanks to PepBoys corporate. We had some special issues with our vehicle that posed a challenge to any mechanic. They were so committed to our safety and satisfaction that their top mechanic from Philadelphia drove in at 7-am with a commitment to not leave until our issue was resolved. Less than 8 hours all was solved and we are back on the road.

A rare instance of trustworthy mechanics. They are honest, accountable and prompt. Conveniently for people who work extended hours like myself, they are open 7am - 7pm weekdays and are also open on the weekend. Had 3 recent great experiences, incl. - 1.) Made appt to have my tires replaced. I got a call that they didnt have the tire I ordered in stock, but they upgraded me to a superior, more expensive tire for the same price. 2.) I took my car in to have my brakes checked because they rumbled when I depressed them even slightly at high speed. They took my car out for a test drive to replicate the problem and determined it was just a peculiarity of the regenerative brakes on my hybrid car. They returned my car back to me at no cost. Having paid for pads, rotors and calipers before in my younger days when only the pads needed to be replaced using another, less scrupulous major chain really made me appreciate their honesty and integrity. 3.) The front passenger fender (wheel well) liner of my car fell out of my car. Expecting this bodywork fix to be pricey, I ordered the part online and asked them to install it. Not every place would be willing to meet the passenger in the middle on something like this, but they were game. It turns out the holes for the fasteners on the part I bought didnt meet precisely with the panels on my car. They showed me the issue and did the best they could to affix it to my car. I later got a replacement part with guaranteed fitment which they installed for free despite the fact they were not at fault for the original installation going awry. I want to thank Raj, Angelo and Meaghan in particular for their help.

Horrible place. You go in for a tire plug, they slash your tire on a ramp and try to throw any old rubber on and then scratch the crap out of your car while doing their work. They deny it, but then refuse to show you the footage of them working on your car when you ask. Then you ask for management and even though he is there... his response is I start my vacation today so I will not come out to explain why my shop is incapable of repairing a tire without destroying a customer car. Greg Jean Loius in particular is someone I would recommend keeping your car away from. Also, a special shout out to Raj singh for leaving your counter guy hung out to dry. Usually a manager handles situations instead of hiding in the back. Awesome job at nothing!

I brought my car in for a flat tire. The person helping me claimed he fixed the tire, which was flat again the next day-- after Id driven it 45 minutes on the parkway to work. Very dangerous.

Took my brand new car in to plug a slow leak in a tire, they somehow drove it into the ramp slashing a good tire. 15 minute service and 3 hours later they couldnt get a replacement.They also scratched up the fender the slashed tire was on then claimed it was not them would review the tapes, then would not let us see the tapes. Obviously it did not exonerate them. I know the condition of my car when I trusted it to them.We found the cost of a tire and they did eventually reimburse that but noe we have to waste time finding a tire and getting it installed, we lost most of a vacation day, we are not better off.We have to get the front fender repainted shame on you pep boys.The winshield is also cracked we did have a stone chip but the impact of their accident in our car had it spread side to side before we could get it sealed. The chip happened on the way to the dealership.No management available to resolve, poor desk clerk. Manager was apparently on vacation but sitting in the back. Spoke to district manager on phone.Worst experience ever if there was a minus category you would get it

Had tires replaced. Went in without an appointment and they were able to take me in and get it done in a reasonable amount of time even though they looked really busy !! Raj and Angelo were great !

This Pep Boys was willing and capable to fix a problem that two other locations (Hazlet and Oakhurst) failed to do properly.I purchased tires from Tire Rack, and Pep Boys was listed as a willing installer on the Tire Rack website.Both Oakhurst and Hazlet failed to apply wheel weights to a 1990 Mercedes 300E correctly. In April, I had the tires mounted and balanced at Oakhurst. A week or so later, I noticed a wheel weight had fallen off in my driveway. Under warranty, I drove to Hazlet. They were happy to honor the warranty claim (within 90 days of the original service). Unfortunately, the wheel weights came off again.Eatontown, especially the service manager Raj, was extremely helpful in remedying my problems with incorrect wheel weights. The wheel balance has been corrected. Kudos to this Pep Boys branch for carrying the weight of the other sub-par locations. Even if this location is out of the way, go to this one, Eatontown, right by where Fort Monmouth used to be. You wont regret it.Thanks again, Raj.

Huge waste of time. They dont bother to check their appointments to make sure the parts are in stock, so I showed up only to be told that what I needed would take about 1-2 weeks to order. They really need to get their act together.

Dropped the rental car off for an oil change. Fast and efficient.
