I hate leaving bad reviews so Ill get right to itIf youre working on a project, go directly to the contractor. Dont let Lowes subcontract it out. The actual contractors are better to communicate with, respond faster, and care more about your business because theyre part of your community.I made this mistake. Its not one person at Lowes fault, but the way the company is run.So Ill say it again, do not work with them on a project. Go directly to a local contractor or specialist. You will get better rates, better communication, and a better overall experience. I learned my lesson and will not be using Lowes for projects again.

Home Depot has a better selection (and is only two miles away). The staff at Lowe’s is nowhere to be found and usually not helpful when you do find them. A big problem management needs to address… consistently they say items are not in stock when you go to pick them up even though the app says several are available. There have been several times where I made the walk to the aisle myself and found the item. The staff is either overwhelmed or simply not interested in locating the item for your web order.

Went there because I needed shelving for my bedroom closet and found just what I was looking for with some good help from the staff.

Pretty great service. I was asked 20 times if I needed help which is rare in these places. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is that I did need help and the first two guys had no idea where drano was. Third guy found it 20 ft from where we were standing. Def will go back. They might have been new.

I wouldnt go back at all. We were waiting at appliances while the employee was on the phone the other employees were busy helping other costumers we didnt want to be rude and cut anyone off. As we were standing more and more costumers started to wait as well when the lady got off the phone she looked the older white male and asked if they need help i nicely said im sorry but were next the lady that was with the men said yes i think they were here before us. The employee said you wanna let them go ahead of you? And the lady shook her head no ofcurse. So the employee ignored us and continue to help them im sorry but im hispanic and to me this felt like discrimination. My mom and I were speechless. Ill stick to home depot.

I had a great experience there. Went looking for a drill machine. It was my first time buying a drill and John C from electrical was very helpful and guided me to the right choice. He took the time understand my project needs and accordingly gave me very good advice. I will certainly recommend this store.

Had better prices on lumber and homasoat board than home Depot. But the staff in the lumber department was not willing to cut plywood for me.

Lowes has more options in stock than home depot but you better know where the item your looking for is at, because the employees have no idea where any of their items are. The response I get a lot is I think so or u dont think so. Point is you wont get an exact answer.

Barely tolerable, to find somebody knowledgeable is mission impossible. They try to sell you something promising rebates, only to find out that those are not available to you and the checkout. After filling bunch of papers. Had to call CC to stop the transaction. Happened more than once

I was able to locate artificial turf for an outdoor wedding on a roll in the rug department. The helpers were friendly and efficient cutting and sealing the goods. There wasn’t a lot of variety in stock but I was happy I could find what I needed quickly. I placed the turf under a garden trellis and it worked out fine and added a nice near touch to the wedding area. Afterwards it will be placed inside my gazebo.

It’s a nicer store than Home Depot. Pleasant to browse around. Home Depot you just want to get out of there.

Never crowded and well organized

Community-oriented business, carries a wide variety of items, and has convenient recycle drop-off for plastic film and fluorescents. They take CFLs and smaller tube bulbs. The key machine is fast, convenient, and reasonably priced. The garden center area is starting up again, with some items not in stock yet (2/15). But during peak season they usually have a great selection. Plants in the garden center can have issues with fungus gnats though, so be sure to keep them separate for a bit if youre not planting something outdoors.

Worst customer service at Eatontown location. Spend $1000 on tool chest. Went to pick it up and it was damaged. After speaking with 2 store managers they promised me they would refund me and then reorder the item and even deliver it to my home. ToGood to be true is right. Never received a call from them and 2 weeks later when I went back to store no one knows anything. And none of those managers are in. So now I am out a 1000 and no tool chest? I don’t think so.

You know I always disappointed because the Lowes near me is five stars. I had asked three separate employees for the same products and all three of them send me to a different aisle. So I had to find it myself. The best part of my visit was checking out through the garden center there was no line.

I experienced that best customer service at this location. From management down to associates. I was looking for a cheap small item but I was given all the help I needed to find item even thought it was move around a bit. I will be back again. Thanks again to those who help me find item.

Deplorable, disrespectful, rude uncaring, unwilling is not sufficient to describe the events that have been occurring with this Lowes in Eatontown. . We purchased a refrigerator in 2018, and purchased the suggested extended five year warranty. WORTHLESSNow less then two years later the Whirlpool refrigerator is not working. It has not been working since Sept. 6nd. I thought no problem, I have a warranty and Lowes stands behind their products. NOT SO.After numerous phone calls and visits to the store where my family member was mistreated. we are still without a refrigerator. Not only was there an incredible loss of food, but a family member who has cancer and needs their treatment refrigerated has been using a cooler to maintain the injections at the required temperature. This concern fell on deaf ears, at customer service, at the asst manager level and the store manager is unwilling to take calls or to have the decency to speak to us when we go to the store. Why take out a store suggested warranty if the store is unwilling to stand behind it, I was charged for it and its worthless. While this is lengthy, I would be remiss if I did not point out that finally today 9/18 when a repair man came to my home; no surprise it can not be fixed,. Lowes has washed their hands of the problem and Whirlpool warranty is giving me the run around...no refrigerator, no repair, out hundreds of dollars, out of options because LOWES of EATONTOWN simply DOES NOT CARE...BUYER BEWARE WHERE YOU SHOP!!!

Found what I needed relatively easily but when asked for help for a product the people were friendly, but couldnt bring us to show us where the product we were looking for should be, they just pointed us in the right direction and then continued to talk among them selves, they were friendly, didnt seem annoyed, but could of at least attempted to walk us to where the product should be, which happened to be sold out from what I could see

I bought a patio set in March 2021 and the ottoman piece was bent andI have been calling Allen and Roth for 2 months and my still waiting for answers to fix my patio set. Awful service not happy at all.

They are moving merchandise around so be prepared to be more frustrated than usual when. Trying to find things.

This is one of my go to places for hardware. (The other places are local hardware stores.). Special thanks to the paint department. I brought in a 3 year old gallon can of Valspar Reserve, almost full, which a customer had given me to use. The lid was so firmly stuck that with after my prying with a 5 in 1 tool, the lip became completely bent upwards and the lid had barely moved. Chuck and another person in the paint department got that lid off, I don’t know how, decanted the paint to my empty gallon can, shook the paint, and sent me on my way. Thank you!

I can’t tell you how frustrating of an experience I have had with this store.I am a contractor and ship in Home Depot often.Lowes had the BBQ that I wanted so I didn’t really have a choice but to buy it there.The service in store was really terrible. For some reason everyone there is miserable to be there and very professional at shirking any responsibility.After 1.5 hours of that frustrating experience I decided to order on line.The delivery came wrongIt took me 2 days to get anyone on the phone especially someone that was willing to help.Finally a very nice manager worked it all out.Now I am spending a third wasted day awaiting a delivery since 8am and have been hung up on continuously for the last hour by people asking me to hold and no one wanting to do anything.I rarely write reviews and I have NEVER posted a negative one. But this is wrong.

Lowes is the place to go., so much better run than Home Depot. I was here in April and was quiet. But now my last two trips its like people have discovered how nice it is to shop here. They are not funneling people in and out of One door, no distancing there. Not limiting the amount of people in store and it is not crowded inside. Im a happy shopper at Lowes.

Way better than HD customer service

I rented a truck for $19.95 for 90 minutes. A good deal! Make sure you check the gas you are leaving with and get it on the record, or you will have to pay to fill the tank for the last guy who used it.

I own a couple of businesses, one of which is renovating homes. I work with a number of lumber yards and building supply stores. Over the last month I decided to try Lowes for a few items that I was still looking for.I was pleasantly surprised when the assistant manager, Nick M. offered his assistance in working with me on my project by locating the right items, ensuring the best pricing and accommodating the deadlines. I observed his managerial skills and was very impressed at how patient he was while helping employees that were in need of his assistance. Talamas, was an absolute star when it came to my door purchase he was patient with me and made sure I got the best doors at the best price. (FYI they beat the price on doors by 18%). Tina, from the kitchen design department is truly unbelievable. What makes her different is that she identifies her clients wants and needs. She is very precise and pays great attention to detail which allows her to prioritize and cater to each client specifically. Her spacial design skills and knowledge of the product are superior to anyone else Ive ever dealt with. I greatly appreciate her out of the box thinking, accommodating all of my requirements and staying within my budget. She is a true expert at what she does. Special thanks go out to Sue, Messiah, Kyle, John and Jeanneyah (I know I butchered it, sorry) who are always a pleasure to deal with. Its great to see that we still have places that care about customer service and helping people.Nara.

It is Lowes so not much to say - if you like big box home improvement stores - youll love these guys...but if and when you can dont forget the smaller hardware and specialty stores. I feel make it a rule that every third time I need home and garden items I visit a local nursery or hardware store just to keep things kind of balanced.

For a big store there always seem to be things I need that they dont stock. But the good part is that if you find something in their online listing, the listing shows where in the store to find it (and knows how many should be in stock!)

Cant speak for all their big-box stores, of course, but the crew in Eatontown has almost always been helpful when I was trying to sort out what I needed for a particular project, however off-the-beaten-path. Recommended.

Last time I will ever step foot inside this store. Negative customer service. I waited over half hour in the blind dept with little help. We asked 3 employees where to find another product and no one knew where it was, nor did they make any attempt to find it for us. I even tried calling the store while I was there thinking I could get help over the phone but noone ever answered. Save yourself and go to a smaller hardware store. Lowes does not deserve to be in business.

I came in to the store and placed an order for about $800 in construction material. I pre-selected some boards and brought them to the counter. The order was to be delivered. First, the store called to tell me they can’t find the boards I picked. Then they called to tell me they don’t have re bar I purchased, would I mind a substitute and they will credit me the delivery charge. I agreed. Then they called to let me know they can only deliver half the stone for the retaining wall. They will need to transfer from another store. This is for just one single order. The positive note, the delivery driver was incredible. An Ace. By the way, the store never issued the credit for the delivery.

Nice store with brands and products not offered by the other place. Always easy to park and not crowded. Better prices on some types of products. Would give 5 stars except they blatantly display ethnic prejudice and bias throughout the store.

Always have what I need to get the job done

Ordered online a 5 ft skeleton for a Halloween decoration and picked it up today. No other Lowe’s had it in stock and the Eatontown one said they had 2 in stock. So I ordered online in the evening and went there today to pick it up. When the customer service rep came out with the skeleton he said there is a problem which was it was missing a hand. I said I wished I had known this before I drove 1/2 hour and that I didn’t want it with a missing hand. The manager of the store came over and looked through the whole store for the other skeleton but couldn’t locate it. He took parts from a smaller skeleton and worked for over an hour doing surgery to transplant the parts hand to the skeleton. The hand is glued on now and for how long it lasts I don’t know. It’s not good as new but I couldn’t not accept it after the manager Mark went above and beyond to satisfy me . They could have just said sorry lady take it as is or leave it but they didn’t. All staff that I dealt with were fantastic. I have never been in this store, this was the first time. I just want to say thank all !!

I am very displeased of their service. Bought Bosch dishwasher from the eatontown store and waited for them to install. First they said Friday, took off from work half day for that and nothing happened. Called them up and they said Tuesday. Took another half day off just to return the dishwasher back to the store because the installation guy said that he has to charge me another $130. I felt cheated so I refused to pay additional charge and returned the dishwasher back to the store. Tried to call them, and it took them a long time to pick up the phone. The appliances department didnt seem to care or tried to apologize for my inconvenience. If there any 0 star, I would give them 0. Would not recommend their service to any one or you should have your own installation guy to do it for you.

I went to Lowes in Eatontown early on July 2. I needed a piece of 3/8 plywood to solve a problem with printer placement. I brought a picture and measurements and was directed to Mike. He had to tell me his name because hed taken his vest home to launder it and forgot to put his name tag back. Mike found me a piece of scrap 1/4 plywood, cut it for me, and said to see if it worked. I asked him if he knew of anything that might make up the difference between 3/8 and 1/4. He found another associate, whose name began with an A maybe. A came up with the idea of a piece of plexiglass to make up the difference. My purchase amounted to less than $15 since the plywood scrap was free - I had no idea it would be. But these guys couldnt have been nicer. And in these COVID days, they were a ray of sunshine!

Lowes is pretty great. It is clean and orderly, making the experience painless and quick. While some things may be a bit more hidden, the staff there can always help facilitate your trip. It is worth to note that they blocked off key portions of the parking lot near the garden center, but with the large amount of parking offered, it is still easy to find a space.
