I’ve been using Ewc for years. Sadly, this location needs a revamp for front desk. The last three appointments I’ve had were canceled or rescheduled. Fine. This last time was extremely unprofessional. They called me to tell me they wanted to change my appointment from 1pm to 2 pm. I told them I had a doctors appointment, but would see if I could move some things around. I did. I get there at 2:04pm to be told my appointment was at 1:45. I told them the girl who specifically called me said “we can see you an hour later at 2pm” they told me they wouldn’t be able to do all my services. They constantly pull the COVID card for all their issues. I’m over it. I work in healthcare and every single day myself I’m exposed, I know COVID has impacted everyone, but the level of professionalism with them is zero to none. Also, There’s always phone issues and they never answer. Today specifically I tried to call them 8 times and every single time just rang and went to an automated recording to leave a message, left a message twice with no calls returned. I was really hoping once the new manager was hired and took over there would be a change and sadly not. I’m not one to complain at all, but when this rescheduling process has been done three times in a row to me and they insisted the time was a certain time and are 💯 wrong at least admit to fault! Please revamp your front desk! Waxers are amazing at this location, but the first impression come from your front desk and it’s not working with whomever is in place! Don’t come to this location if you value your time.
It was my first time going here, and they canceled my appointment 3 hours before it. I scheduled for that specific day for my vacation, and couldn’t go else where because I was only given 3 hours in advance for cancellation. I won’t even bother rescheduling, I’ll find somewhere else.
I called to make my monthly appointment and they were completely booked. Its over a month and Im still waiting for my wax. Ive been going here for some years and my overall experience is always great but since moving from NJ to PA its different. Jersey usually reach out to their members
I don’t understand how they have 4 stars .. I had scheduled an appointment at European wax at Allentown and they canceled me twice .. so I thought to give a try to European wax at Easton ... so I did .. I scheduled an appointment and the day of the appointment they canceled to me and I rescheduled after six days but I drove 45 minutes to go there and hear that I don’t have any appointment .. like I’m crazy to drive that distance with my 4 year old kid ... both of the girls were rude .. they didn’t say sorry or something nice to me .. they had a bad attitude specially the one that had canceled to me! I give one star only to put that review! Don’t ever go there .. that place sucks!
I got out of work a few minutes late, I called on my way. The girl on the phone(Megan) told me it was ok but there was a grace period of 9 minutes so I got to the parking lot at 138(made it with a min to spare) I couldnt find the building so I called again and said Im here Im on time but i need help and again Megan guided me to the building I walked in after driving 35 minutes to be told they wont see me because now its 141 but I was in the parking lot just confused where to go. I felt it was unfair to make me walk in just to tell me nope not gonna see you. I understand keeping a schedule but I called not once but twice and I was very upset by this whole experience

This was my first time at European Wax Center and I absolutely loved it! I only had to wait for about a minute before I was called in. Sam did such a good job on my eyebrows too. Normally, my skin is very irritated after a waxing since I have very sensitive skin, but the next day my skin looked and felt great! The lady at the desk was also very kind and professional. I will definitely be going back!
This has been one of my favorite locations. I have been going for roughly two years now to this location. The staff are always so friendly here from front of house to the ladies in back. I generally see Allison because she always makes it very comfortable and pays attention to detail.
10 minutes late and turned away. Was asked to make another appointment...to wait another month..nope going somewhere else. I was getting a retouch, the job was not going to take long at all but was lied to and told the next customer was there already and she in fact was NOT. Very poor customer service. Keep in mind all the techs were just standing around doing nothing.
For those of you looking for a place to help turn daily tedious grooming into once a month maintanence, this is the place to go! All staff makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I was terrified my first wax but Jess, talked me through the entire service. She was educational, efficient, thorough, kind, and clean. My service was on time, easy check in. So easy to book appointments online or on the phone. Please check out their waxing packages as well. I will most certainly be a repeat customer!
They charged me twice and claimed that they processed it.. it’s been over a month and still no refund. It was about $75 and still don’t have my money back. The wax was great but the customer service wasn’t. The manager hasn’t even returned my call.
Got a brazilian wax on Thursday of last week performed by Jess. Today being 7 days later and noticed a strip of hair and they say that the policy is it should be reported within three days or be charged for a full service. The spot missed is near my crack! Im sorry I didnt check their work. They are supposed to know and have the best view to remove hair. I am not paying for them to perform a job that I already paid for. Ridiculous!

This location has lost a wax specialist, who I will not name, that was recently TERMINATED. The reason you ask? they were preforming their job waxing a guest, who wasnt stopped by the receptionist upon arrival when in reality, we all know the job of a receptionist (GSA), is to handle and greet, and DIRECT the customer to the wax specialist. The Specialists job contains a few ingredients that apply to the customer because after all, they are waxing private parts, and other sensitive and revealing parts of someone they most the time dont know too well, unless they are a recurring customer. Now 2 ladies come in, whos identities are unknown to the specialist, are given to the wax specialist and they are brought back to the room where you get waxed. The wax specialist, not knowing the reason two people were simultaneous coming back (minor/guardian, medical need, etc) only that BOTH people were allowed in by the GSA with COVID-19 protocols always changing, has one take the table while the other is to sit and watch and wait(????), so the specialist continues to do her job, thats end of the story..... Until on December 24th, After it had snowed, the specialist had arrived at work to be fired, AND NOT EVEN BY THE MANAGER, By another higher ranking employee because an unauthorized tik tok was made BY THE GUESTS. After the specialist had became emotional from this process, they decided it was best to sign what they had to sign and leave, essentially sealing away their fate with the company. Something i want to mention, we have been over the hand book. Every EWC employee shares a similar level of responsibility, and the GSA being the face of your facility, On a busy day where the specialist has back to back guests, needs to be checking in and out guests and telling guests to COVID-19 Guidelines AND the EWCs own policy on guests coming back with people who arent in medical need, or children of the persons getting waxed. The Specialist, whos iPad device for registry tells appointments and appointment type, and time, Does not see anything about personal information OTHER than the name if they are a new guest. The point Im getting to is that the specialist would have no way of knowing if the GSA, (the face of the store, and person who checks in and out guests!!!!!) sent back to appointments who came with each other. Another terrible thing i want to mention is this isnt their first injustice against this ex employee, and the employee in questions child is battling cancer. Something not easy for any parent and not something you can schedule, or prepare for. This ex Employee was FIRED, ON CHRISTMAS EVE, IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC. THE DAY SHE WAS FIRED (THE 24TH), SHE WAS MADE TO COME IN, AFTER IT HAD SNOWED, EARLY, AND THE MANAGER DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE HEART TO SHOW THEIR COWARDICE AND COME IN AND DO IT THEMSELVES. It is a complete injustice and if I am certain of anything in todays world, we know when to not give our business to inhumane, uncaring, and unjust establishments. Imagine having your job taken from you when its holding up everything you know over a tik tok, and because of professionalism, especially when your front office cant even do its job right. Disgusting, EWC. With all the positive things Ive heard of that location, I couldnt imagine that THIS is whats happening to their very own employees, on a whim.
Over the weekend, I tried out the Easton location for the first time. I previously went to the Times Square location and did not have a great experience; so I was a little hesitant about going.However, Caitlin was my wax specialist and she was great. I told her about my past experiences with EWC and she was so reassuring. I will definitely be going to Caitlin for my services from now on!The space was also super clean and check-in was easy/quick.

I had a wonderful experience there!! I was super nervous at first (like any lady probably would be) but two of my friends went an raved about how clean an friendly it was there. So I figured I’d give it a shot, I’m a hairdresser so I know things to look for for cleanliness an honestly I’d give this place a 10/10 in that category. As for the woman in the front answering phones and checking you in also a 10/10 super friendly an easy to talk to made the experience 100 times easier an comfortable. I will be going back to see my girl Alison who was vary well trained an could answer an question I had!!
Jada was beyond rude and unprofessional using terms such as “right now I have a customer right in front of my face “ and “you need to realize I’m accommodating you and I’m really busy right now”, when asked to speak to a manager jada hung up several times and refused to give the contact information of manager. I feel horrible for who ever the customer “in front of her face” was, must have been great hearing that
Went here for my first ever wax and had a full leg and bikini line done with Allison. She was absolutely incredible and helped ease my nerves while taking the time to make sure I was comfortable. Would definitely recommend!!

My waxing service was great but the customer service was disorganized and very bad. It was my second time there and I was going to sign up for a student wax pass. I had gone in person PRIOR to making an appointment to get details about how the pass worked and to ensure that I can purchase one for what I needed. I was told I can purchase a student wax pass for any service and that it can be split into 4 payments which I also saw online. When it came to the time of the appointment everything went smoothly until I went to checkout. I explained to the receptionist that I wanted to purchase the Student Wax Pass and split it into 4 payments, which she then started to set up for me. I ended up being overcharged and they could not figure out why. 3 associated had looked over it and could not give me answers. I was told there was no manager in and would be contacted the next day. The next day came and no one reached out to me so I ended up calling them and was told again that there was no manager in. When a manager finally got to me she also didnt seem to understand what the receptionist did. She then told me that any wax pass under $150 cannot be split into 4 payments!! After I was told by 3 different associates that I definitely can!! She could not figure out how much I needed to be refunded and STILL expected me to pay for the wax pass in full up front. She kept saying different amounts, it really didnt make sense to me and at this point I was frustrated so I settled on being refunded $24 (not sure where this number came from, still doesnt make sense). Cancelled the wax pass cause I was not going to pay the full amount at once when I was told by multiple people that I could. The manager was not helpful and I wont be returning, which is sad because my esthetician did a great job and I wouldve loved to stick with her. Hopefully the next location I visit does not mess up this bad.

In hopes of finding a better stylist I grew my eyebrows out. While, the people are great, the service was terrible. I expected top notch service for my first experience as the price tag did not match the look. My eyebrows look like caterpillars with no defined eyebrow lines. Perhaps this place is good at removing hair, I dont recommend it for eyebrow styling. Now I have to grow them out again.
Its a little chilly here, but overall a great place to get waxed. Even the newer waxers do a really great job and everyone is very personable and professional. I have gone to at least 3 different waxers and have been satisfied everytime.
Hairs left over and have some tearing and bleeding from the bikini wax full ):! The woman who took care of me was very nice but did not do the job too well even after I told her there was still a lot of hair.

I cone here fairly often, and although there are other locations closer to my house, I still go here. Stephanie and Latisha are great, and Ive never had a problem with them leaving hair or with the hair just breaking rather than removing from the root (which Ive experienced multiple tines at other locations). If you have concerns, give them a call! Theyll be able to suggest a waxer that can address your concerns.
I went there this morning for the first time. Ashley was amazing. So friendly and easy going. I thought it would have been awkward showing someone I dont know my cash and prizes. She was so professional and made me feel comfortable. I will definitely be going back to her in the future. Thank you Ashley!!!

Great waxing salon. Caitlin did a wonderful job making me feel comfortable and answering my questions. While prices are reasonable, buying a package can save you more. Thats what I did. Love the wax and the ease with which it comes off.
Had a wonderful first experience with an eyebrow and underarm wax. My aesthitician was knowledgeable and the wax was barely painful. I will be back!

The staff was nice. They express that the hard wax hurts less than strips. I don’t find this true at all! The experience was noticeably more painful. Additionally, I’m incredibly disappointed! A week out and I’m already showing hard stubble. I went here on a fluke because my girl was out for classes... never again! The hard wax hurt and just broke the hair! Stick to strips and a good estitician who will wax according to hair growth direction and can do larger or smaller areas based on your tolerance. -12 weeks before wax- seasoned waxed- 3 stars because the staff was great but the system they use sucks.

I transferred my account to this location from Piscataway, NJ since my move and pregnancy. I did read the reviews prior to going, but this still was the closest location. So I went in with my head expecting a 50/50 experience.Since walking in, the information was all ready, my needs were questioned and noticed immediately. The staff was VERY pleasant and it was clean and quiet. There was no mishaps and no extra charges for fees or transfers from my old account. She suggested the iPhone APP for services, follow up and appointment changes and there are no issues with that either. The information goes to my location and they follow up with calls and call the day before; always. I feel extremely comfortable with the waxer & staff and I don’t take well with that easily. They didn’t try to over sell anything either which was great because I don’t like when they do that even though I know it’s required. All-in-all, it was a great experience and I continue to go there.
First time I went for a Brazilian was great. Went for a second Brazilian with the same clinician and it was disappointing to say the least. I still have hair on either side and it looks like she peeled off a piece of my skin. She said her wax was not co-operatingbut $50 dollars for the service and $15 tip,as I didnt realize the horrible job, Im never going back.OWNER RESPONDED THEY WILL REACH OUT SHORTLY TO MAKE THIS RIGHT. TO DATE: NO RESPONSE, STAY AWAY FROM EUROPEAN WAX IN EASTON. PHONEY, FAKE, INSINCERE.
Made an appointment to get my interior nose waxed. She was so very busy trying to make conversation about the weather, my plans etc. While its impossible to speak with wax in your nose, I tried to be polite. She went over each nostril twice, then tried to get me to make another appointment. When I got to my car I looked in the mirror and was shocked to see she has barely removed any hair at all. I went back in and was told I could come back next week for a touch up..no thanks..and was told I could not get a refund. I was very discouraged, Ive gotten this service done at other locations and have been more the satisfied. So they can keep my $17..but I, along with anyone I know, will never be back!
The place was clean and the front desk associates were very nice, as well as my esthetician. However, she destroyed my eyebrows. She cut them entirely too short and cut them in places where eyebrows should not be cut. They are patchy and they look awful so I have to now wait until they grow out. Luckily the first service was free, but I would never pay $20 to have my eyebrows turn out like that. Also, hard wax does not even come close to taking off all of the hair. Even after my service the area around my eyebrows was not smooth, but still full of hair!

Consumer beware!! This location went way down hill since they opened. The front end staff is very unorganized and unprofessional. I have been going here for years and within the last 4 months this facility is very poorly ran. I book services in advance, they send out a confirmation email and upon arrival inform you that they have a staff meeting (like they dont know in advance when they are) and will not be able accommodate your appointment. Unfortunately I had a great waxer, Leticia, but will not give my business to this location any longer due to the unprofessional front end staff.....Not had to book clients when the computer, basically does all the work for you. Try the Allentown Location off Airport Road, might be a little further of a drive, but cant compare the staffing.

They should put on their website that you need to stop using Proactiv 3 days in advance before they will wax you. Doesnt help when they call you 90 minutes before your appointment and cancel because you used Proactiv.
Worst customer service ever! Their credit card Machine was not working so they asked me for my credit card information then continued to bill me not once but twice and tried to bill me once more after that once I called about the problem they were useless and rude. Do not go here!!!
