The vet techs are super sweet and the only reason they get two stars.Our pup had an issue with his toe and landed himself in a cast. He was doing great for a week and then I called to schedule an appointment because he was licking at it non stop and getting irritable. I took him in the next morning, he was there for maybe 10 minutes and got the all clear from the doc. The next afternoon we called for an emergency appointment, something really wasnt right.The doctor pulls up, says we have a problem, I dont have keys. He leaves to go get a set of keys. Good thing it wasnt a real emergency.He takes the cast off to see whats going on. We find our boy with extreme swelling, sores, raw spots and skin abrasions. All of this clearly did not happen over night.And to top it off... $357 (after 10%) discount for an emergency appointment that we had to assist the doc with while he chatted away on his phone making his evening plans and it could have been avoided in the first place.First time going here since it was so close. It will be my last. Well happily make the drive up to saylorsburg to see the team at Creature Comfort, where they actually care for their fur patients.

William Penn Veterinary Hospital is amazing! Not only do they provide excellent care, but they are there when you need them during emergency situations. Our cat has urinary issues and they saved His life more than once! Dr. B, Dr. A, and the staff are amazing and so incredibly kind. They truly love and care for your animal, and that is so important. They are now our forever vet, and I highly recommend them !(As you can see from the pictures, He is back to His spunky self😜)

William Penn has been the only veterinary practice for my dogs for the past 7 years.I am fairly certain that by going here for such an extensive amount of time I can say I have dealt with each vet that works here. They are all absolutely wonderful and care immensely about the pets they see. Everyone involved in this place has done so much for my dogs every time Ive brought them in. I know that I can absolutely trust any employee to handle my pets appropriately especially considering they arent the easiest. I absolutely love bringing my boys here and cant imagine taking them anywhere else.

We took our Kitten Weebles to William Penn Vet hospital and was more than impressed by both the staff and the Dr. Their caring nature and expertise and diagnosis turned a kitten that couldnt walk into one that can now run and climb stairs. We are so thankful to them and plan on bringing all our pets to them. We are so grateful and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a fantastic experience.

The staff and Dr were amazing! I called about my older cat who was gently hit by a car and ran off for like 4 days. The Dr overheard my worry and got me in that day! The staff was so awesome with me and my cat. Very caring! Dr examined him and with his evaluation he didn’t feel it was necessary to preform expensive tests. So grateful for all of them!!

Went here for treatment on a dew claw that my old vet made a total mistake on! Old vet denies they did anything wrong. So I called Wm Penn and they got me in that day! Treatment on my dog was great, they took care of us the way a vet should take care of animals. Hope pleased with the experience that I changed vets that day. Our cat was having an issue and our regular vet couldn’t see him for 4 weeks! I called William Penn Veterinary Hospital and they gave us an appointment the same day. They took him on time for his appointment and within 5 minutes the vet came out to my car and knew exactly what was wrong with him and took the time to explain everything to me. Very responsibly priced for an emergency appointment! The staff was friendly and helpful as well!

I have been bringing my dogs here for a few years now. The staff and Dr. B are always wonderful and I know my dogs are in good hands there. I’ve had to call after hours for an emergency and they are quick to answer and Dr. B met me at the clinic within 15 minutes. I would highly recommend them!

Total rip-off!! First, on our 1st visit 7/26/21, the Dr. Emad Ambouemara that was covering for the “regular” walked in the exam room without introducing himself. Then, he just checked my puppy’s ears and heart. He walked out and came back in and said that she would not get vaccinated because it was not 3-4 since her first vaccination. They didn’t inform me of the itinerary prior to the visit. So, at checkout they charged me $55 for “his time”. I told him that Sandy who scheduled my appointment quoted me $35 for the exam. He basically insinuated that I lied. I spoke my mind to him and he didn’t apologize for anything and refused to honor me the quoted price of $35. The guy is arrogant and treats the pet owners like if they’re dogs too. I will submit a claim to the Better Business Bureau as well.

Very please took my quniea pigs to get a trim. After a mistake another agency have did to there nails. Amazing job I will be returning.

So disappointed. Dr, Bouzaout - who I trust, was on vacation, so Dr. “A” was covering. I have an older dog who recently developed some lumps on his hind area & chest. I’ve had many dogs who, in old age, developed fatty benign tumors. Dr. A suggested we do bloodwork prior to scheduling surgery.I asked if we could first aspirate the areas & get a pathology report. Those are the steps you take prior to submitting an older dog to anesthesia. He then told me he would throw in a dental cleaning - like a perk while my dog was under. Outrageous! Dr. B, when you get back, see what’ your subs are doing!

This place was a great find for me and my pet rats! We we having problems finding a Doctor in our area, who would deal with a rat. Most Doctors put their time and effort into larger animals (cats and dogs), so little guys get overlooked and go without help. My little guy Charlie was treated with the same respect any larger animal would get, and so was I. We were seen on time both times. My observations and concerns were carefully noted by an assistant and related to the Doctor. The Doctor stepped out to the car park to talk to us in person. We would definitely go back to this place, if we need help in the future. Thank you!

My Fur baby has been a patient of William Penn Veterinary Hospital since she was 6 months old. My last emergency visit I Must say it was a pleasant one. They cared for her. Prescriber some medication and I can say that shes much better. I do recommend this clinic for your fur baby. There was a time that I had to call in the middle of the night and her doctor used to open and see her quickly. I want to thank the staff and the doctor for their passion and caring. And their prices are reasonable. I just wish some of the pills was smaller for small breeds.

I can’t even express enough how much gratitude I have. They were so sweet. Not being able to go into the building with your pet during these times is upsetting. They made the situation very comfortable and our pets just loved them. One of my cats needed some dental work and thanks to William Penn Veterinary my boy is back to himself and no longer in pain. We were worried about our German Shepard going in alone, he has anxiety and techs in the past have had a hard time with him. They are so great with their patients that he let the girl even cut his nails by herself. I’m so happy to have been referred to them after moving here a year ago. I will never take my furry family to anyone else. I feel they really truly care for the animals here.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Was told my bunny not pooping for 4 days was not a bad thing. Got medication for an infection, he kept getting worse even while taking medication and a week later he died. My bunny was only 1 year old. Exotic vet had no idea what they were doing and ran pointless tests to run up the price. Absolutely horrible.

This place and their staff is great. I have a crazy French bulldog, who isn’t a fan of the vet office to say the least. However, this office does an amazing job helping frank the tank whenever he needs anything or stops in for a visit.

Do NOT bring your pet here! Waited 4 days to have our pet seen, 1st appt was canceled by the office because the Dr left early! Finally seen after 4 days and they charged for an emergency visit! Sold us $83 worth of medication to be administered at home, none given at the office during the time of our visit and our pet died a few hrs later. Called the next morning, no sympathy for our dead pet and when we asked for a partial refund for the emergency visit and unopened, unused meds we were told the Dr would call back. After 3 more calls, no response. All about money here, no responsibility, sense of urgency or care for your pet!

Only went here because my vet didn’t have any open appointments right away, waited 3 hours, doc never even introduced himself to me and in 5 seconds tells me my dog is in heart failure and there’s fluid in his lungs and around his heart. Did X-ray, next day ultrasound, then told me he didn’t have any of that stuff and has pulmonary hypertension instead. Gave him the prescribed medicine and that night was back at the vet (a different vet). Basically they got $1,000 dollars out of me and my dog actually seemed to get worse. Seems like no matter what animals come in for they always do xrays and ultrasounds to rack up the price. Didn’t get the feeling the doctor really cares for the animals he treats. One positive from my experience is that it seems like all the vet techs are very nice and caring, but overall very displeased with my experience and time here.

My cat was limping heavily and the doctor said I could come in as an emergency. There was a fee for the emergency, but he checked her, gave her a rabies vaccine, gave me her antibiotics and pain medication for the next couple days, and then told me what the next steps were for taking care of her. All of that great service only came to $180, and Jasmine is feeling so much better that she caught 3 small animals and brought them to me as presents for helping her.

Needed an emergency vet for my bunny. Called all around town asking for an exotic vet. This vet hospital said they had an exotic vet. Made an emergency appt for $180. They as far as I know (they came to vehicle to get him) examines him and took xrays. Told me he had an infection and gave me some meds for him. I asked them if him not pooping for days was bad. They said no. I asked them if his loss of appetite was concerning, they said yes, he need to eat more hay. I said I’d he’s not eating how do I get him to eat? They said, after taking the meds he should start eating. I asked them if his condition was life threatening they said no, not at all! My bunny died 6 days later!!!! I will never go to this vet again.

Nursed 2 of our cats from near death back to health. we thought our older cat was going to die due to a very serious infection. We trusted the doctor and he was able to save our cat. Our other cat was very sick, we called on Memorial Day (they were closed) and the doctor answered and met us at the animal hospital on his day off to take our cat in. Not even a second thought. Him and his staff close care of the cat which unfortunately had a terminal illness. They day he was being put down, they let us come to the building and brought our cat out to us to say our goodbyes. The stuff was extremely sweet and it made saying goodbye a little bit easier for us. It was nice to know all 3 of our cats were in good care the whole time they were there.

The entire staff is so friendly! My first visit there we found out I needed to begin Sub-Q fluids on my dog. They were very patient in explaining how to do it and even did it in the office for me one night when my dog wouldn’t stay still for me.

Moving to PA from NY I was in search of a Veterinarian for my 2 fur babies. I called a few places asking for pricing on first visits and next available appointments and William Penn seemed to be the most affordable at the time and the earliest appointment I can get was from them. I must say when I first got there I was a little hesitant as it doesn’t look as nice as the other veterinary clinics in the area. None the less I needed to get my rabies shot for one of my pets so I proceeded in waiting. The staff was friendly and the doctor was great. I have found my forever veterinary vet out here in PA.

Trust them 100% with my pets. Two of my dogs have had surgery there and both had great recoveries. What they quote is what you pay. They always make a fuss over my dogs.

We had to take our puppy in for an emergency exam. Dr. B and staff were quick and attentive, thorough and reassuring. Sadly, our poor pup had concerns beyond our knowledge and we had to euthanize her the next day. In that emergency, Dr. B took a call from us at 1 am and offered guidance, met us ASAP for treatment, took care of our pup as much as possible, and showed compassion for her/empathy for us as first time pet owners when it was obvious she wouldnt make it. We have found our vet.

The Doctor here is amazing. You can tell that his love for animals shows in his passion he has for his work. Not only is he always reachable, he is kind, friendly, and empathetic to his patients as well as the owners of his patients. I am so lucky that I brought my dog to him.y dog was woke up one morning and wasnt eating, walking, and his breathing was labored. I brought my dog in for an emergency visit(after business hours). When I got there and called his number he was there in under five minutes. He also found a large tumor in my dogs abdomen that was about to burst. I didnt have the money for the surgery so I eventually over a couple day period was able to get a care credit card that cover most of the procedure but not all of it. I brought my dog back in that Monday to discuss my options to keep my dog comfortable until I could come up with the rest of the money. But the doctor said he would do the surgery that night because he was worried it would rupture and that I could fill out a financial agreement. Thanks to him my dog is happy and healthy and is making a speedy recovery. If he.didnt perform surgery my dog wod have died that night because the tumor had in fact ruptured minutes before surgery. Words cannot even express my gratitude to this man .

Dr B and the entire staff of Wm Penn Veterinary are the most caring and professional Ive encountered. They helped me with my Lab until her compassionate end at 11 years old due to Osteo Sarcoma. Now they are caring for my new pupp. Always available to answer questions and squeeze an urgent appointment in. I dont live as close as I used to, for my new pupp I decided they were worth driving a little further for the care they give 💜

My dog had to have an emergency visit due to badly cutting his paw open. He ended up needing stitches; needless to say this was the most amazing team of vets I’ve ever witnessed. They make you feel comfortable and welcomed, they truly care about the animal and will do whatever they need to make your pet better. I can’t express how thankful we are and I want to thank Dr.B and his entire team for taking care of our fur baby. I have definitely found our new vet.

My dog hurt her leg...it wasnt a super emergency but I was worried about her so I called and was welcomed in to have her looked at. The staff and vet were so nice and my dog enjoyed their attention. The vet even wants me to call and let him know if shes better over the weekend- not just if shes worse...I like that about a vet!

My wife rescues cats and keeps the ones that have health issues, they have been absolutely great with all of our cats. We have one cat that was to at least five different vets in Florida and they couldnt find what was wrong, first visit with the doc and a prescription and he was all better.

We were directed to Dr. B by a friend and we are so glad we took her advice. What a wonderful experience! From the moment of meeting Dr. B we felt comfortable. Dr. B had my heart when he took my cat out of my arms and said we dont need the carrier. We had to leave him at the office for the day. When we came back for him, Dr. B carried him out to us. My cat was so calm and relaxed. He didnt even meow on the ride home. Dr. B is wonderful. He truly cares about our pets, who are really our family. Thank you Dr. B for taking care of Baby!

Vet came into the office at 9pm on a holiday to see my sick puppy even though they were already closed and he was home. Did a full exam, blood work and gave her meds right away to take home and was also very kind throughout the whole process. We were new to the area and found William Penn Veterinary hospital for our two dogs. It has been wonderful. The staff and Vets have taken great care of our dogs. It’s a small place but excellent care.

After running around to other animal hospitals, we finally a veterinarian who would take our sick hamster (considered an exotic pet) on a Saturday afternoon. We called ahead and they were waiting for us to take her in immediately. Dr. Bouzaout and the rest of the staff were so friendly and efficient. They also told us that if we had another emergency, we could call their office 24 hours. I highly recommend their office.

I can safely say now that thanks to the devotion and care of William Penn Vet Hospital our dog Zooey is alive today. What could have easily been overlooked as a stomach ache was conclusively diagnosed as a intestinal block and quickly operated on. What turned out to be a 24 hour stay with ongoing tests culminating in an exploratory surgery, I was really shocked by how reasonable the final bill was. I will definitely be back for all regular dog/cat checkups.PS- Throw away all your chewy squeaky toys!!!

Told by a friend that the staff at this vet cared for a white Alaskan malamute who was rescued along with another dog of the same bread, both are blind from Camden N.j. Unfortunately the flies attacked this dogs ears. The staff seen this dog, took it in and cared for it free of charge. So for the statement of money hunger I tend to disagree. Vet took X-Rays of my dog and didn’t even sedate him... hence they were unreadable... but he didn’t care after $500.00 later... what a joke this guy is... don’t ever take your animals to him... oh, also there was animal excrement all over the floor when we waked in... kids watching loud YouTube videos in the “I guess operating room”. You will be sorry if this guy ever takes a scalpel to your animal. He is about one things... the DOLLARS!

Dr. B was wonderful and compasionate when it came time for our 13 yr old golden to pass. He came to our home and gave our family the time and assurance we needed. Now he sees our new additon and we know we couldnt find a better vet. We have seen several others and know this is our vet!

Came into William vetinary as a emergencyFor my little rabbit. They took the rabbit right away and we did not have to wait. Found out that we can depend on them for after hour emergency at any hour of the day.

Dr Bouzaout and the staff of William Penn Veterinary Hospital are excellent. They are warm and compassionate. Dr Bouzaout is so gentle with my dogs. He is the first vet I ever had that I didnt have to drag my dog in shaking like a leaf! I would highly recommend him !
