My family and I cant thank GAK enough for taking care of us so well. Shortly after purchasing our new home, a major water issue (from the second story deck and all below) was found throughout the entire front wall - rot and mold on top plates, bottom plates, studs, and sheathing. Needless to say, it was pretty stressful to discover.A friend recommended Angelo with GAK and so I reached out. It was obvious from the get-go that Angelo actually cared and wanted to be sure our home was repaired properly.His team, Aaron and Kadrush, were so thorough throughout the entire month-long project and were easy to talk with and coordinate with. They rebuilt the entire wall, properly flashed our deck back into the house, re-sided the whole exterior, finished flooring, installed all windows, insulation, drywall, trim, and baseboards, and prepped it all ready for fresh paint. Im sure they had to deal with much more that Im just unaware of.Aaron is meticulous and completed everything as if he was working on his on home. Given how the project was rather unique, Angelo also came out to the house himself several times to see how they would tackle certain aspects of the job.We could not be happier with finding Angelo with GAK, and were so happy to finally be completely settling in to our home.

Wanted to use GAK but they did not live up to their commitments. Our job involved new doors, windows, siding, roofing and more. Gary visited and expressed his confidence that GAK could handle the job. I followed up with Amy in the office (friendly and professional) who said she would have Gary follow up. Nothing. Tried again. Still nothing. Not even a courtesy call or e-mail.

Angelo and GAK construction did a fantastic reconstruction to my aging home. His team took care of everything from replacing aging sub-framing all the way to finishing the trim work in a beautiful two-tone red oak. Im writing this 2 years after the completion of the job and can say their work is of the highest quality.

GAC Construction replaced six windows in our log cabin and did an amazing job that was done when they committed to do the work. Angelo was professional and stopped by several times to check on the work and make sure we were happy with the work. Joe did a great job and made the new windows match with the inside and outside cabin look. Joe does quality work like it’s his own home. Jose was great on matching outside stain. I would recommend GAC to friends and family and for future planned home remodeling.

We had a complete bathroom reno. Its been almost 3 years and I still love it. Its now time to do our master bath and well be using them again.

We just wanted to say how satisfied we were with GAK Construction. This past summer we had GAK Construction come out to build a new back deck. Their responsiveness to give us an estimate (and ideas, too) was fantastic. Michael was a pleasure to work with. Construction started on time and the team they sent (Dave and Earl) were hard working, efficient and professional. Upon completion of the deck, we noticed our daughter was able to figure out the lock on the gate. Michael sent out a crew to install a new lock (which she cant open now!) . Called Monday, 4/25 to schedule an estimate. Spoke to Amy. Very pleasant phone voice, said she may be able to have someone out that day. Not sure what time and would call an hour before.Never heard from her. Called around 3pm after staying in the area all day awaiting the phone call. Was advised it wouldnt be today but tomorrow and would call in the morning. Not wanting to waste another day sitting around, I called around 9:45am and Amy advised someone would be out and would call back in an hour with a time.No call. Stayed in the area until 2pm this time. I called Amy to remind her of our conversation 5 hours prior and got a little attitude like it was my fault and offered to schedule an appointment which is what she should have done in the first place. I guess GAK doesnt want my money as I have received no calls to resolve the matter.All this just get an appointment, I can only imagine what I would go through on the actual project. Off to update Angies List.

I worked with Angelo on 2 separate major home improvement projects at my home. I believe pricing was fair and quality of work was excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with his company again in the future.

I recently had my roof redone by GAK. The roofing job was completed on time and on budget. They were very professional and buttoned up. They were also very responsive did everything they said they would. So everything was outstanding. They were quick, responsive, and professional. From the very beginning they were impressive to me. Gary and Michael came out to provide the estimate and were thorough and answered all of my questions. As the project commenced, we had initially went with another roofer. This was a disaster because the other person before GAK, despite tons of references, was not professional. He delayed the job for 2 months. We terminated that relationship and went to Gary and his crew. They handled everything very well and exactly when they said it would be done. We couldnt be more pleased. Highly recommended.

This was the only company in the area that wasnt looking to rob me blind. The owner looked out for me when I was in a jam. Ill need some deck work soon and I plan on reaching out to them to do it.

I have used Gak for both my home and business property and am 100% satisfied. I was skeptical of the quality at first because of the low price, but cant say enough about the quality and detail. They are very busy but worth the wait, I plan on using them again for future projects and would recommend them to everyone.

We had GAK build a deck that went far beyond what we expected! Rock is amazing and our deck is beautiful! He and his assistants were here every day and were fastidious in every aspect of making this deck perfect. Rock rocks!

Disappointing. After the estimator visit, I never received a call back with an estimate. I followed up twice and left messages asking for my estimate, and never received return calls. My repairs are for a damaged roof from a tree fall that needs immediate attention.

Great company to deal with. The sales man for the estimate was informative and very helpful when I needed a new roof on my house. I am a single woman and he really helped me to understand the procedure and estimate. The crew was very professional. It only took 2 days to do the work and I have a huge roof. The yard was left spotless, not one nail or shingle was left laying out. The even cleaned my deck afterwards. The owner came out after the job was done to check the roof after the completion. I am very impressed and plan on using them for future work on my home. The whole job really turned out excellent.

Had scheduled an estimate for someone to come out, a week out. Day of I get call to confirm appointment. I confirm appointment 2 hours before appointment. And a no show, no call, no nothing. Waited around and wasted my time. Very unprofessional. Its business 101 on what not to do. At least call. Heck at least call the day after and apologize. Nothing.

Angelo and the guys really helped me with my house. I bought a foreclosure in Saylorsburg that needed a lot of work. I had GAK remodel the bathroom and redo the old rotted out deck. These were things I wasnt going to do on my own. I got the estimate and the work was done fast. They sent a crew after getting the permits and completed most of the work within a few days. Im really happy with the results and the price was fair, especially for the quality of work I received. I did a lot of work on this house on my own but it was definitely a good decision to hire GAK for these projects.

I needed a roof done and I was told by other roofers it was going to be a big deal, I met with Angelo to go over an estimate, he was on time friendly and honest ..... I then met with Gary and he told me they would have it done in 6 days ...... Ive never seen a crew work so hard and an owner be on site making sure everything was status que, the roof was done in 6 days and it is spectacular !!! They went above and beyond for me, I cant wait to have them do further projects !!!

Called to arrange estimate for patio extension. They had no available time for estimate for over a week. Called 2 business days prior to scheduled estimate to confirm appointment. Day and time of appointment came and went. No call no show. Evidently they are too busy to pick-up the phone and show some common courtesy. Dont bother with them they dont want the work.

I wish I had a review to write. Unfortunately GAK Construction never even responded to my inquiry. I filled out the form on their website on Sunday, August 28, 2016. Its now Wednesday, August 31, 2016 and I have not received a response either by email or phone. I guess my money means nothing to their business. Oh well. Their loss. Ive owned my own business for over 30 years and I have always responded to every single inquiry. Customer service is key!

These guys did some work on my sons place in Sciota recently. The work was done extremely quickly considering he had a water gusher take his whole bedroom ceiling down. They came in found the problem and redid the whole ceiling, walls and carpet in about 2 days. It looks even better than before. The plaster is straight and they even had their painter paint it. Everything looks great.

I was recently in the newly remodeled lounge and bar area of Peppes in East Stroudsburg which GAK Construction renovated. The design and end result was beautiful. It is a very inviting and comfortable space to be in when youre out with friends. The woodwork and general fit and finish is very attractive. We just had a Christmas party there and I would definitely go back again after the job theyve done.

Ive been a painter for over 30 years now so I work on a lot of homes. I know a few people who have used GAK, so Ive seen their work up close. Ive noticed the quality they puts into their home improvement projects for their customers. Ive done a few jobs where Im painting recent renovations now for things like color changes. It makes my life easier not having to sand and fix the walls because theyre straight. I stay in business because of quality, so I appreciate other companies that do the same for our common customers. It really helps all of us.

Met Mike at the Home show at Kalahari and talked to him about my deck. Once I made the appointment he was very prompt in coming out. The estimate was fair and the work done above expectations. The guys were AWESOME, very very nice, respectful and so fun to work with. Cant wait for them to do more work for me. Never worked with better people. Amy and the guys at Gak Construction are the best.

Do NOT trust this company unsupervised. Hired to replace roof in Henryville.The deal was any damaged/rotted plywood found when shingles are removed would be $70 per sheet to replace. They changed 3 sheets and billed me for 13. Thats $700 they almost got away with. I drove up to the house as fast as i can when i heard about this, then when i called telling them i see only 3 sheets replaced everyone passed the phone around until the owner (i think) tried to blame the receptionist for the mistake. Disgraceful, imagine how many in town get conned for residential work. My roof has since started leaking after 1 year, Will call in others to fix it.Will not recommend

All I can say is if you need work on your home, call these guys. Theyve been in business forever. They always show up. The work is done quickly and at a fair price every time. You can always get in touch with them with questions or concerns if you need to. And theyre right here in East Stroudsburg where we live, so we always call them for repairs or new home improvement work. Thanks guys.

They transformed our unfinished basement into a beautiful living/drinking space. Each phase was handled efficiently and professionally. Each worker truly treated it as if it were their own home. Mike was a very helpful assistant in all aspects of the job. Including design suggestions, options, etc.The workers truly gave their all. Their attention to detail and pride in their work was evident from start to finish. They easily could have cut corners here & there as is typically experienced with contracting out work on ones home.But they definitely did not disappoint in any facet. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their space transformed. I apologise for not remembering everyones names, but a big thank you to them all. Recently my wife and I hired GAK Construction to replace two roofs on our house, Mike came to the house on the appointed time, we found their quote fair, and awarded them the project. Their workmanship was superior, from rip-up to completion they exceeded our expectation, we would hire them again and recommend GAK CONSTRUCTION. This company may do good work, but I never got a chance to find out. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate and then needed to change the time by 1.5hrs, I called them and left a msg. I also sent 2 emails to Mike the person that was supposed to come out. I never got a response. When I called back, they said they got the msg and that Mike was busy. They never apologized or even offered to reschedule the appointment. A business is not only judge by the work they provide, but also by their customer service.

Over the years GAK has been involved in many of our business projects. From simple roofing jobs to our complete renovation of Skylanes Bowling and Peppes in East Stroudsburg. No matter what the job Mike and Angelo are always right there making sure things get done right and always quick with an answer to any questions or concerns. Jobs are always done on time or sooner and the budget is always in line. At the Bistro especially we had an almost impossible time frame, but from demolition, to reconstruction, to the final finish, they got it done and we now get nothing but compliments. They always treat me right and any more than that is not an easy thing to find in a contractor.

Waited for them all day when they showed up the guy walked up to the door rang the bell walked back to his car I knocked on his window he looked at me and drove away. no class company that must have people that dont want to work or enough work,

They never showed up. Called the next day at 2 pm on a Friday and didnt get a call back.

Called to set up an appointment to get a quote for a roof replacement. Was told that wasnt necessary and they would generate a quote and email it to me. Left my name, address, email and phone. Over a month and never heard from them.
