Early September visit.. After reading other reviews I was expecting a rustic, dated and poorly cleaned unit. I was pleasantly surprised to find my unit had an updated kitchen with all utensils placed in the drawers in an extremely neat manner. The rest of the unit was impeccably clean. I came to the resort determined to not getting sucked into the sales pitch....and found myself there anyway. They are experts so be prepared. I did learn more about my program so it may pay off.The resort is really spread out and large I believe there are over 500 units. You must travel to get to anything and driving is the easiest and safest. Deer population is healthy so driving in the evening requires caution.Pools, 2 outdoor and an indoor were both on, and clean. They have daily activities which they give you on arrival.
Charming little place to eat. Uniquely quirky setting and fun cuisine. The blueberry French toast was delightful. Must eat on a weekend when the farmers mark around the court house.
It’s a lovely location. We enjoyed the Poconos, the scenery, the hiking, mini golf and the local eateries. The condo itself is comfortable and clean. Though it could definitely use some upgrades. What kept me from giving the place a higher review was this….We shared a porch with a permanent resident. Part of the time that resident had their personal belongings spread out on the porch so we couldn’t even use it. Several times we went out to sit and enjoy the fresh air and they were out there spread out on the porch smoking. Kind of kills the draw to go out and breath in the fresh air. Ours was the only porch in our section that was shared. We definitely recommend separate porches for each unit.
It was a wonderful experience, overall, it exceeded my expectation. My family and I enjoyed every moments of our 3 nights stay at the resort. We enjoyed the pool and most outdoor activity. House has lots of space for a family of 7-8 people. Staff at the front desk very helpful and friendly. I would take this moment to thank Joseph, he helped us during check in and answered all our question.Comfort: greatClean: greatService: greatActivity: great
Totally Awesome mask no mask covid no covid greatest place ever peaceful as hell and from NY I definitely need and love it
Stayed in two newly refurbished units. Very comfortable. Loved the master bathroom and separate other full bath.
Disclaimer: We are Club Wyndham owners. We recently spent 1 week at their Shawnee Village resort in a 2 Br Villa and left Wyndham an honest evaluation. We were disappointed. It desperately needs an update and better cleaning. Dishes in kitchen on upper shelves are out of reach, and there is no footstool. Several outlets and light switches did not work. Furniture and carpets are OLD. The touted miniature golf was going to cost $12, and video rental $4. Information from the concierge was wrong and/or misleading. The resort is out in the middle of nowhere, and we needed to drive 1-2 hours to get anywhere.
This is my third visit to Shawnee. I have stayed at Ridge top, Depuy, and this year Fairway. Really like the porches at ground level on fairway, great for cook outs. Some units have been updated, in general could use more preventative maintenance vs fixing as it breaks. The pool area is hit and miss, little disappointing that the pool closes for what ever reason and staff is not able to explain why. I have had good pool use and sent away a few times this week and on past visit with out explanation. At least today was a cleaning issue and was resolved in about 5 hrs. Communication is key! Overall good place for families with children. I come here with the parents mainly for local golf.
Very gorgeous place! We didnt get time do to much in just the weekend, but 3 pools and a hot tub. Apartment was so cute, perfect size! Loved it all.
Pool was closed 2 of the 5 days that I was there. I understand that it may be weather permitting, but why is the indoor pool closed as well? Staff was nice and helpful enough. I loved the texting system that they had for my questions. Although there was a request for us to attend a presentation, we declined twice and the woman wasnt pushy. Thank you! The unit was relatively clean, but dated. The game room was decent, but some items out of order. We didnt participate in any of the activities. Overall, a decent stay, if you are not expecting Wyndam Grand Bonnet.
Parking was bad. Housekeeping was bad. Place was built in the 1980s and the furniture looks like it! Beware! Do not come here if you are handicapped. Way to many stirs.
This place was the best. We decided to take our honeymoon here and the experience was the best. Amenities were great and the villa its self was bigger and better than we thought it would be. Definitely would come back.
Had a great time alot of things to do. Great family fun! Beautiful outdoor pool but needs some music playing! And pool should be open until at least 10pm. Condo could use a more serious cleaning especially during these times unit 118 depuy front porch should have a table and at least 4 chairs so you can enjoy in the evening 😉
Been here in the winter and the summer, really nice place to go, lots of stuff to do around here like tubing down the Delaware, indoor and outdoor pool, arcade, and the grounds are really nice with 36 holes of mini golf, volleyball, grills, playground, shuffleboard, and bocce ball court. They have an indoor basketball court too and lots of weekly activities some free and some for a fee. The Delaware water gap park is right over there and amazing and beautiful to visit. The units are a little outdated but overall it was a pretty good stay
The resort is nice. The pool is enjoyable. The units are pretty dated. Nothing fancy. The AC doesnt work great upstairs, bedrooms get pretty warm. Theres plenty of space and the area is nice.
Nice place near waterfalls and nature. Indoor pool was ok but only went as deep as 4 foot. Outdoor pool was better going to 6 foot but no hot tub outside Indoor hot tub only. Small arcade. They say Crestview cabins are the nicest. We got put in ridge top. Lots of stairs in ridge top and was slightly dated. Overall good experience pools are good for kids two hours away from Hershey. I would definitely recommend if you like nature and have kids.
Very nice and friendly guest host. However the day we checked in the power was out and we waited 3 hrs after arriving on Friday before 4pm to get the keys to the place where we were staying and then they only accommodated us by giving us until 11am to check out on Sunday. They should have allowed us to check out at 1pm that would have been fair
I would have rated this place higher if our villa didnt have a few issues. The windows dont keep any noise out at all. None! People walking by, the cars on the road. Nothing. The small half-bath downstairs faucet handle kept breaking and you could tell theyd been just putting back in place because of all the grime and it broke into pieces. The caulking around the sink was put on but never smoothed out or painted along with the board going across. Its a tiny space which is fine, I get it, but fix it and finish. Otherwise when we asked for maintenance to fix the blinds that where up above the stairs they were fast to act and repair a piece. Needed more dishwashing soap, got it. Everything else was super nice, like a sofa, love seat and chair in the living room! Not crazy with having to get your own wood for the fireplace since its not gas. That was a first, but then we didnt need it. Because of social distancing Im pretty sure some games were missing in the game room. I wouldnt mind going back again, we explored all around the area and still so much more. Even hiked around our place. Id just be sure to check everything before unpacking.
My family and I had such a good time here. We will definitely vacation here again in the future. I highly recommend trying this place out!
Overall its a good place to stay. Staff was friendly. However, some items were old like Dryer and washer and sometime didnt work. However, good place for the price that you pay.
This place are horrible, muggy and dirty, i use booking.com for Kingsize and river view, they gave me 2 doubles and back yard view, I went to front that she need to call to manager to find out, she told the manager, the women in front me, what ? The women in front of her ? So they said they only have queen size, but they won’t give me discount, they still charge me king Size price . So I accepted, because this is our anniversary, but when I opened the door, I want to run, I need to canceled this place .May be should call haunting inn resort . Please I want to sleep and rest, I don’t want to have Nightmare . Don’t let the green view trick you ! Will not recommend to any one if they just want to take people money and no maintenance. Bad business practice. Shame ! Well I have to drive home for 2 hours . By the way this is Shawnee Inn resort, guess what why I post on here . Because they are same Comoany, but Shawnee inn resort block me to post bad reviews!
Nice quiet hideaway for a long weekend or a week. There are 2 really good wineries to visit.
Good:Kitchen is decent size.Room had a washer and dryer.Okay overall layout which permits some kind of privacy.Lot of green areas nearby.Bad:Check in process very slow. Supposed to be at 4:00 and ended up getting the room after 6:00.Alec from Front desk forced us to go to a sales presentation claiming it is not. But is a sales presentation nonetheless.Carpet need heavy shampooing. White socks turned black after minutes.Living room furniture are outdated and uncomfortable.Master bathroom is petite size and terribly designed (they should put the toilet where the shower is and make a bigger shower).Noisy air conditioner.Poor resort activities (seen a lot better in other resorts we have been to).Room exterior was needing a power wash. It was done during out last day with bleach and the odor was so strong we had to leave the room and report it to the Service Manager.Location location location... even at the price we got it is not worth it.
Family friendly ❤. Watch out for the bears and other wildlife. Remember that you are near a state park!
So far checking in is a fxxxing joke. 2 hrs because they want a high pressure sale. After a 10 hr drive? Really? Hopefully it gets better.
Enjoyed the Cottages. Plenty of (Extra) items added to your room complimentary.....Sooooo nice and QUIET !
Its less than 2hrs away from where I live in NYC. I booked it for a quick getaway for my family and ended up pretty disappointed. They didnt have my reservation in their system when I got there. Had to show them my confirmation for them to just make a new reservation for me. The pool was closed for maintenance which was one of the main things my wife was looking forward to. The power cut out for a couple of hours during our stay. We ended up leaving a day early.
Cabins were great very comfortable with full kitchens and essentials, perfect for familes looking to get away
Nice quiet resort. The rooms were really nice extended stay style. I great woodsy retreat
Very clean place. The staff was very nice. Not like all Wyndham resorts. This one you need to pay for mini golf, movies, arcade, etc. The room was very well kept, except the safe didnt work.
I like the resort itself, nice fully equipped units with full kitchen and large rooms. Large therefore with large swimming pools, BBQ areas and ather activities for all ages, BUT that long check in process with annoying wyndham timeshare presentation invitation is awfull! I made a big mistake by going to that presentation and buying wyndham timeshare! MY ADVISE - DO NOT GO THAT PRESENTATION NO MATTER WHAT!!! First they say it will take 2 hours. But in fact it is a waste of half of the day. Then those salespeople lie or missinform about everything just to get you in the contact, and then you end up overpaying for your points and having a hell of the time trying to make any reservation. All the units for owners are booked a year in advance, but are available for everyone else through the Orbitz, booking or similar. WYNHAM TIMESHARE IS A BIG SCAM BASED ON LIE AND MISSINFORMATION. But as far as the resort it is very nice and comfortable
My experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. From check in I had a rude attendant during check in. His name was Victor - who’s from D.R (I remembered his tag)Victor clearly needed training and professional work etiquette when welcoming and working with guests. I don’t believe he should of ever been representing as the front line for Wyndham because this young man wasn’t courteous or knowledgeable in his field whatsoever. He exemplified Poor decorum and improper communication skills.. He kept dismissing me . Victor even walked away during my experience when he felt he could no longer help me. He didn’t excuse himself and he was absolutely not trained to tend to customers as he completely was rude and unprofessional. . The checkin area gave papers and bracelets and didn’t explain in depth anything effectively to help in case of an emergency . And what are the odds. Everything that could go wrong actually happened. There was a storm and my power in my home went out. Moreover, Another attendant who did help me but never gave her name helped got me checked in.As the young lady was helping me, victor comes out of no where and Chimes in and says “ oh you were able to get in, well look at that “ smirking and speaking loudly and sarcastically out loud so other patrons could hear. His comments were completely inappropriate.I just politely ignored him. This is not the way a representative should behave. When I entered into my room I was in the Fairview area I didn’t expect a unclean room.I truly believe this room wasn’t inspected or cleaned properly at all .As you see in some photos my bedroom had used Q-tips right in the middle of the room . A unused diaper by the Television. Long strains of Hair in the bathroom and around the home, garbage left on the banister of the steps .I was completely disgusted. I stripped the comforter off because it was dirty and marks were evident on the outer-layer. I tried to make the best of it and sanitize and clean the areas I would be in but I was completely turned off.I also don’t want to forget to mention that the WiFi completely stopped working for hours( it was raining so I understood this ) as I was inside with my daughter. After the internet was down then the power was off. It stayed offed for more than 12hrs . I couldn’t believe it .When I called guest services around 8 pm with the phone in the room they said they would fix it but I knew that was completely bull because it never was resolved when I saw it was no power and no follow up.While The cabins are a bit outdated and most Poconos mountain resorts or hotels have that feel . I expected better from Wyndham resorts but I was completely wrong. My first day was messed up from the first impression and it just got worse and I wasn’t happy .I kept trying to call guest service and security or dial 0 .I couldn’t even get to security until after the 3rd callThe security who finally answered around after 10pmSounding as though he was sleeping said “ ok I got you “ never followed up or came to help. It turned midnight and still no power or internetI tried to make calls using the phone provided in the room and nothingI kept trying to make outbound calls to family and friends in the room phone but nothing . I was out of power and internet for hours and it was just horrible . I don’t wish what I experienced on anyone because this was horrible. I thought I was getting away for a quick r and r and unfortunately all I got was a nightmare. I will never come back to this resort and I do not recommend this place to anyone. I personally regret coming .I wish I used my points somewhere else. I woke up in the morning and called guest service and got a person but all she could say is that she had to wait for management. I just started packing at this point . Lastly they had bed bugs because I was bitten horribly over my body . Never again. I left after my 2nd night and dashed home . Never again
Love this place. Always very welcoming and helpful. Thank you team.
Condo was nice and clean upon arrival. But, when I saw a raccoon at 3 pm walking in the parking lot, which is a sign of rabies. I called security, the Indian sounding person said dont mess with it and it wont mess with you . I lost all faith in Shawnee. Then at 200 am I called security and got a recorded messageNot exactly what I wanted to hear when 20 year olds are hooting and hollering. As¹
Nice newly updated suites with plenty of planed activities to keep families entertained. Not far from several restaurants and countless hiking trails.
Had a great stay very accommodating my two issues was when it rains they also close the indoor pools along with the out side... also there not enough hot water supplied in the houses with jucuzzi bathrooms ruined my overnight jacuzzi experience but I over all had a great stay
Nothing to extravagant to do here. Great escape if you want quiet and a pool. The majority of the time were here we go to the pool and just BBQ and relax.
The charm has faded, the parking lots are bare, and the accommodations are subpar in comparison to what you pay in yearly maintenance fees! As a child, I loved coming up here. However, as an adult, this place is dingy, outdated, lacks quality daily activities, and customer service is lacking. If youre looking into purchasing a timeshare (points/flex weeks/ fixed weeks) SKIP this place. Yes, youll hear that theyre remodeling units---seriously, its few and far between when you consider how big Shawnee property covers.
Enjoyed a 50th birthday celebration with college friends. Condo was clean and comfortable. Lot to do on and off site.
Very nice customer service. We werent crazy about our 1st room so since they had room they change us right away to a spot we feel right at home in for our week. Thank you for helping make our 35 wedding anniversary memorable.
Alot of fun the family had. So much to do n enjoy. Clean, and friendly staff ready to serve you any way they can. Must do again.
How about a thumbs up if this is usefulVisited during early March 2021. The unit is dated ( ridge top summit unit 226 GPS 41°0049.5N 75°0719.3W ) but is very spacious, comfortable and bright. 2 bed room 3 full bath - full handicapped bathroom on 1st level of unit, upper floor full bathroom with jet tub ( mirrored walls ) and shower, Master bedroom full with smaller shower. Great morning light in the rooms. Full kitchen, washer / dryer. Did not use the amenities due to covid and temperature.Minutes drive to Ski Shawnee mountain, and park for hiking, swimming or boat drop. Minutes to NJ border and 1.5 hour to NYC areaenjoyed the stay and would stay againBooked through Interval international certificate
Very nice. As everyone else said, much better than the photos
Our stay at Shawnee was the most fun we had in along time. My family was here to celebrate 🍾 my neice from San Franciscos birthday. We had a few hiccups but the staff here are the most hospitable and welcoming. Special shout out to Cynthia who made Michelles day even more special. We will be coming back again!
Nice place. Lots of amenities and accommodations are quite nice. I can’t really think of anything negative about our stay or even what could be improved. They are coping with covid restrictions very well.
We stayed at the Depuy Village,a 2 bd and 2 and half bath. It had a full kitchen, with utensils, the rooms were huge and it was a two story. It felt like a home.Everything was clean and no signs of bugs even though you are in the woods. The one bd was just as big and maybe slightly nicer but both we stayed at was perfect. They also have washer and dryers, which is perfect for long weekends and when you have kids. I would definitely visit again. We are also Club Wyndham owners, so it shows that they are taking care of the properties, which is an added bonus.
We love it here! The crest View units are beautiful. You get privacy with a short drive to all amenities. So much in the area to explore.
BEWARE: The ONLINE photos of the units are NOTHING CLOSE to the actual unit. WYNDHAM is managing several villages (Fairway, Tree Top, River Village 1 & 2, Depuy and Crestwood), and regardless of what your Reservation shows, youll be placed in the unit that may be in any of the various villages. The view from your covered porch might be like ours: on a good day, you see the parked cars/on a bad day you see the spilled garbage that was scavenged through by wild animals. The carpet, Furniture and Bedding will be Nothing Like the Wyndham photos! I called many months ago to state that the photos I saw on Wyndhams website didnt match photos I saw on the RCI directory, and I asked which were accurate--I was told the Wyndham Website showed updated units and that if I was put in an updated unit it would be similar to the photos. NOPE. Not True!NOTE REGARDING downstairs HALF BATH: Though its nice to have a quick lower-level restroom, the sink is about 12 inches deep, and to avoid taking a shower, you have to stand to the side and create a slippery pool on the floorOTHER INFO:QUIET HOURS are allegedly 10pm to 9am, but the management does not want to intervene if children are outside your window playing (bouncing balls and yelling) and running up and down your porch stairs after 7AM.WALKING: From most villages, you must drive to get to a pool or rec area. There are no sidewalks or walking trails, and most of the roads are unsafe to walk.ACTIVITIES: Staff are fun and have some engaging activities.CLEANING: Unit was pretty clean, but carpets were badly stained and furniture is warn and droopy.
I really enjoyed Club Wyndham Shawnee Village. It was a good place to stay at, while we stayed in Pennsylvania. The indoor pool was a little cold, but I still loved it. Entering the village was efficient and quite easy. I only had a few problems:1. I wish the parking wasn’t so far away from the condos. It’s kind of hard to bring luggage the distance, especially if you have a lot of luggage.2. the smoke alarm is a little too good and whenever you’re taking a hot shower, it complains. And complains for about five more minutes.3. This is kind of outdated. The furniture was old, TV was outdated, and appliances were ALSO outdated. Please upgrade this and I might review better.
My fiancé and I recently were notified we won a free 8 day 7 night stay with Wyndham resorts through a bridal show. The only stipulation was that we came up to their office in East Stroudsburg for a presentation about time shares. We drove an hour and a half with the expectation of sitting through 120 minute sales pitch. After about 45 minutes of an informal presentation we were asked of we planned on buying the time share. We said unfortunately it was not within our budget to do so. The sales woman mentioned to us she had a full day of other clients and told us we could leave. We walked out empty handed and thoroughly annoyed.
I returned to retrieve my USB cable for my phone that I had left behind. I was very pleased with the manager going through things and finding it for me!
One of my favorite Wyndham resorts. Great location. Very peaceful.
A little dated but good place as a base for Poconos.
Nice accommodations, easy check in and nicely kept grounds. Great location to get anywhere in the Poconos
Been an owner here for over 29 years. Disappointed that the maintenance keeps going up, close to $1000. right now and the villa at Ridgetop is outdated with the exact furniture that was there 29 years ago. Blinds were missing. on the first floor landing. The screen door to the porch had a HUGE hole and there was moss on the front steps. There was also discoloration on the tiles in the kitchen. Leaves me to wonder what my maintenance money is used for.
Its a good value place for a big family.
Old outdated furniture in the living room, bedroom mattresses not comfortable, kitchen frying pans make everything stick to them no matter what I have tried. Too many spiders and small bugs inside bedrooms and all over, my wife got bitten by something and broke out with a rash all over her body. We are so angry on how many times we had to scrub them frying pans.
Very relaxing very nice place well go back
River Village One scenery overlooking Shawnee Golf course and the Delaware River. Unit was updated with granite. So rustic and cozy! Jetted tub was an unexpected bonus!
Our stay was good overall. Upon arriving they gave us the spill about the whole resort...it was roughly 10:45pm and after a 16 hour trip we just wanted to sleep. We did have a little difficulty finding our room in the dark. Nothing was lit up really and we were given a map..which we were trying to read in the dark.. We called security to help but they never showed up. We were also told that there were assigned parking spots...our unit didnt have one. We had to park in overflow parking which was just a short walk away. Bed wasnt super comfy in our opinion. Washer and dryer should be switched due to wall and doors our dryer wouldnt open very far. Makes it a tad difficult to put clothes in/remove clothes. Internet was pretty spotty but not sure if if was their end or my phone even after calling the safety net people they told us to. They also bugged us about a seminar for a time share when we tried to tell them we werent on vacation, we were there for work and found this place on airbnb. Other than that overall our room/condo itself was great. 2 bed, 2 bath at Fairway Village (unit #19B). We appreciated the kitchen and being able to cook as we travel for work often and dont always have that option. Unit was fully equipped with everything we needed and more. The txt number is nice if you have general questions.
I personally cleaned in bleach everyday bought supplies washed all towels left them on table cleaned except bedding i specifically left all supplies in kindness for next ppl so they didnt have to buy it that place was cleaner than we found it and yall kept her deposit except for $19 cleaning ppl lied about something i want her deposit returned in full that was very wrong that place was cleaner when we left!!!!!!!
The staff was very helpful on calling my customer to let them know I was in the lobby when I had no service on my att phone
Stayed in Ridge Top 114 for several days. Rustic cabin feel with well worn 1980’s furnishings. The master bathroom was newly updated with tile floors and new shower stall. The screen porch was appreciated on the warm evenings. The Village is nestled among the Poconos and the October fall leaves were gorgeous. Many covered bridges and caves to explore. Check-in was quick and housekeeping did a great job.
Im a Shawnee timeshare owner and I love it there. Wyndham has done many improvement over the past years. From the Fairway village you can walk to the river, the inn, craft brewery and the Gem &the Keystone. But I do miss the general store (not part of Wyndham but a local store). Im always sad when I have to go home.
My family enjoys coming to the Villas. Favorite location is Fairway Villas. Very cozy and comfortable. Needs an update but worth staying.
Pools and everything are good the weight room is lacking everything else good
Even though this is one of the older locations, we had a good time. The first day, the toilet in the guest bathroom upstairs didnt flush. The chain was missing. The maintenance man came & said he fixed it after a little while. I didnt check because we were eating dinner. He hadnt replaced the chain so it still wasnt working. The next day, I called & he returned. Everything worked after that. We enjoyed our vacation.
Stayed near the golf course. Nice & quiet. Large rooms.
Im being nice with 4 stars. The resort needs a renovation.
Our go-to place for a quick vacation!
Apparently Wyndham recently acquired this resort....... Some work is needed to upgrade the resort
Very poor quality condos, we left 3 days into a 7 day stay. Waist of time and money
Awesome accommodation...east access to available amenities...fun place to stay...
Great time with family. 5stars for cleaning and customer service!
Initially we were given a unit which was already occupied. We were switched to a unit that smelled of smoke and had 2 long flights of steps to get to the unit...a third flight to get in and a fourth flight to get to the bedrooms. The Manager Clarence was very pleasant and helpful. He met us at the last unit and helped us with our luggage to the third unit.He was very kind...professional..and helpful during our entire stay. The unit was great. No Complaints...This is was our 2nd stay and returning soon...
So far I would never recommend this resort. The first room we checked into was so out dated and not cleaned at all! Trying to open the window and dust flys everywhere. Found multiple stink bugs. Then realize the sliding glass door was left cracked up so I go to close and just what. It wouldn’t close. So I try to open it. Once again couldn’t move it. A maintenance guy came. Once he saw the door he right away apologized at how disgusting the room was. And said the door would have to be fixed once we left because of how bad the condition was. I accepted that and was fine. Then I decided to start making dinner. Yeah I got electrocuted! You heard me. ELECTROCUTED!! I was cooking pasta on the old electrical stove that was there and according to the maintenance guy that had to come back, whoever cleaned the stove last didn’t put it back together probably so the Electric arc. After talking with the front desk they finally gave us a new room. So like I said before will never come back here and will NEVER recommend this place. Oh and they are forcing me to go to a member meeting which I can not wait to go to now so I can tell them all this too!
Fantastic stay...rooms were clean and incredibly charming. Activities were fun. Scenic area. Great place to get away
We had an amazing experience there and it was offseason! It is an absolutely beautiful and definitely worth checking out. Alot of things are closed offseasoned you should book it ahead of time and go in the season but not on a busy time if you dont want to be overcrowded with people but want to use all the amenities. Even though it was all season they still had activities that you could sign up for and smaller groups so they can adhere to the covid guidelines. We stayed in fairway. It is absolutely beautiful there in that area . There are certain places that are only available to owners but Fairview is available to everyone however it looks fast because its one of the nicer ones also if you are booking you may want to make sure that you are getting a renovated property at least one that was renovated the last 5 years. I was told that you can ask when you are checking in. Im not sure if you can find out before then though. Our family will go there again.
Nice and clean but you might see a bear out 2 lol
Love this place. A MUST STAY
Great for families. Bring the kids bikes and stay in the DePuy Village! Bring tubes and you can tube down the delaware river-just make sure to get off at OR BEFORE the Shawnee Inn!! (The current speeds up by the Inn.) Get on the River behind the Fort DePuy house! There ya go, free lazy river! Or just swim over there, the water is pretty clean and the current is slow. Also, its a nice walk to the Shawnee Inn from the DePuy Village... Get outside and enjoy the fresh air! Shawnee isnt fancy but if you actually leave the villa and enjoy the scenery, wildlife and you know the outdoors... You will Love it!😘
Loved staying here. Nice 2 story condo setting in village. Clean and friendly
Very nice place bu i am not impressed with the Windham organization
Nice pools and activities for all. Close to other attractions.

Beautiful rooms. I loved the layout. Only thing is we had really loud neighbors. My mom called for security and nothing. My mom texted the 24hour line. And nothing. Not the best safety practices.
The rooms are very spacious and clean. This is a great place to stay when you have a family.
Of course I wish more things were open but thats something out of everyones control due to the pandemic which is understandable. My kids still enjoyed themselves and thats all that matters. Hopefully well be back in the near future!!!
We were nervous about our stay due to negative reviews..... but we absolutely loved our stay at Shawnee. The kids loved the basket ball and miniature gold.. and of course swimming..... They had plenty of places to grill... ride bikes, play soccer etc.... We also all enjoyed the jetted bath tub...We had 2, 2 bedroom houses. The houses was very clean and we had no concerns. Each house was very spacious and private. This was a perfect setup for us especially in these corona times because we did not have to worry about sharing common spaces with other families... Our only interaction with others was just at the pool which had a limit and was disinfected after each 2 hour session so we felt pretty safe...We had seen complaints about the pool.... They have improved the process to 1st come 1st serve. We were able to swim when we wanted so this was not an issue. Will visit Shawnee again in the future...
Nice and quiet, super friendly and helpful staff. It would have been a 5 star rating, but the mattresses need to be changed for NEW. I love my wife but I dont need to roll to the center of the bed to say goodnight. Overall a nice place.
Nice location and exceptional property. Would go back.
I was not given the suite I paid for AND the suite I stayed in got broken into so we had to file a police report. Now the host who isnt even the owner, refuses to give a refund. Absolutely horrible experience.
Its awesome its beautiful all those words
Beautiful property. Kids loved the poolVery friendly customer service
Spent a week here. Overall good experience.
Had a mini-getaway over an extended weekend at Shawnee Village. Condo was plain Jane/basic but was clean and had all essentials to setup home base for a few days. All beds were comfortable. Nice location and convenient to Camelback and Shawnee Mountains for family snow tubing. Both 2-nights of our stay, loud outbursts outside 11pm-3:45am for hours upon hours left my family with disrupted sleep and left me with 3-hours of poor sleep. Security efforts had no effect. Not rested...disappointed. Shame a few bad eggs were the cause. Show respect to others. Treat others how you wish to be treated. In this case, maybe I should have gotten in their faces and delivered selfishness and disrespect. Hmm. BTW, not a fan of the Wyndham Extra Holidays timeshare presentation. Dont fall for it.
