I used to love coming to this place but my most recent visit was terrible. My nail tech cut two of my fingers, gave me gel without me knowing so I was charged $10 extra, and the part that really made me write this was that not even three days later, two of my nails broke off. I still left a tip and didn’t complain because I’m not one to inconvenience a small business, but this was just ridiculous. Not only that, but you’d think I had gotten them done a week ago because that’s how far he did them from my nail bed. It was an overall bad experience and overpriced for the quality I got.

I absolutely love it here there is no where in Stroudsburg like Alpha Nails!!! They do exactly what I want every time and I leave always happy never upset !!! The owner and workers love to make jokes and I always am laughing when I am there. Yen she’s amazing never have to look at her to see if she’s doing my nails how I want themShe does exactly what I want love this place I recommend a lot of people to go here they are amazing!

To be quite honest they do good nails. However when you have a business the customer service and respect you provide to ALL your customers should matter just as much. The first time I went into the salon I didn’t know I had to book an appointment being new to the area, so when I walked in and was told I couldn’t do my nails because I had no appointment at first I was alittle upset but I understood so I left then next day scheduled an appointment. Now while I’m at the salon at my scheduled appointment, someone walks in stating what they want to be done and to my surprise(well not really) they allowed that person to get started. Now I thought to myself this don’t make sense because you didn’t allow me to just walk in but u allowed this person? It was same slow day barely anyone was there. I’m BLK, he was white. That’s only the 1st situation. 2nd situation was still handled with great disrespect.

Love this salon I’ve been coming here since they opened. Salon is very clean, staff is respectful and polite! I love the fact the salon follows CDC guidelines always wearing masks, they have a shield at each desk, every time they have a new customer they use hand sanitizer that they have at every desk.

Yen is my favorite there. I am very critical when it comes to my nails and with her I can relax and not have to continue peeking over to make sure she’s doing a good job. Quality work. 3 weeks and no lifting or pealing. She is my go-to! PS. My review is solely on Yen’s performance not any of the other nail techs. Make sure u leave a tip if you are satisfied. :)

Walked in to get my mani and pedi along with my daughters and sons pedi. Guy said I needed an appointment and that he had alot of people coming at 6. After leaving I called disguised my voice, and asked if I can come in for a pedi, he said yes I can come asked how long would it take to get here I said 10mins he said ok come. Whatever happened to me needing an appointment????. Thats 1 place I wont be going to anymore.

I’ve been coming here for years and have never been disappointed! When I come in I don’t have to ask for anyone specific because I’ve had all of the techs and they’re all amazing. They’re all so nice and make sure you’re happy with your services. I’ve been to so many nail salons in the area and this one is by far my favorite! 💜

Do NOT go here. Even after the Gel Manicure was clearly listed as being $25, they tried to charge me $35? And then when I disputed it one of the workers, a woman, responded with a HORRIBLE attitude and told me to leave? Not to mention that the atmosphere of the shop, overall, was poor. They had me soaking in cold water, the person doing my nails could not understand me, the lights are dim, there’s nowhere to sit, I could go on and on. I should also mention I’ve had my nails done here before so I KNOW the prices and they’ve ruined my nails previously so I decided to give them another chance. I won’t be going back there EVER again after that terrible service. Do NOT go here. 0/5.After reading other reviews I see that they frequently treat Black clients this way, and have threatened to call the police on Black clients repeatedly. Absolutely terrible.

I wish that doing good nails was all that it takes to be an exceptional nail salon. During my first visit, I witnessed Tracy be rude to a client who politely corrected her for using the wrong colors on her accent nails. She badgered the client for minutes insisting that she should have said it nicer. After several minutes of the client defending herself, she said You were rude to me. All I did was say that you were doing the wrong thing on my nails. Tracy told that patient humble woman to go spend her money somewhere else. I heard the entire exchange but was appalled when no manager stepped in to intervene. I spoke up in defense of the woman and was approached by the manager and asked to keep quiet. I told him he was approaching the wrong person. Tracy started telling me to be quiet. The manager told me to mind my business and I told him that he should have checked his employee and I wouldnt have had to say anything. I was asked to leave which I did. I went to pay for the service that I did have. The gel pedicure price wasnt posted so I asked how much it was. I was quoted 45 dollars and I asked where the price was posted. He said that I couldnt read and I strongly feel that he was trying to provoke me so that he could call the police. Several of the employees crowded around me as if I was trying to leave without paying. My daughters had just patroned that establishment the day before and I dont care how well they do nails. After speaking to a few customers I learned that Tracys antics are a norm and that disrespect of clients (mostly black) is a norm. The most telling thing is that they would rather lose money than to genuinely respect a client of color. Disrespect is so common nowadays that people dont even bat an eyelash. I can not in good conscience support a business where disrespect of clientele is accepted and not corrected.

Such a horrible and terrifying experience. The customer service was way below standards. I came in one morning which I previously asked about and was told an appointment was not needed. This morning I came before the store opened and patiently waited to be serviced. I was told by the owner he had an appointment and was unable to be serviced. Then the conversation went completely wrong. While having a calm and collective conversation he became irate and threatened to call the cops. Then I was ordered to leave the store and my money was not needed. To be treated as someone less than by another person and a minority was heartbreaking. I believe in equal opportunity for all as well as equal treatment. I was appalled by the way this situation was handled. Going forward I strongly recommend not to do busy in a place where your not valued.

My nails are always perfect!!

I made an appointment ahead of time only to wait for my pedicure for 45 minutes because it seems not only do they overschedule, but take walk ins when they should be taking appointments. They only offer gel and charge $45 dollars for an average and rushed pedicure. Incredibly overpriced for the service.

I was recommended to Alpha Nails by someone knowing how fussy I am coming from New York.Tracey gave me an excellent manicure and one of the best pedicures I ever had. Place is clean and very comfortable. Prices are very good for their services. I found my new go to salon now living in the Poconos!

I made an appointment and came in a minute or two early-but it was no issue, they sat me down almost immediately (my boyfriend was gonna stay with me in there&they very kindly said that they dont have room so he just waited in the car, it was no problem- we understood completely!! :)) but my nail tech, T, was SO wonderful-he was a pleasure to talk to& i am OVER THE MOON with how my nails turned out!!! sO smooth& exactly what i wanted-and after trying 2 other nail salons in pennsylvania, this is the BEST one ive ever gone to by a long shot!!!! i will for suRe be a returning customer 🌞😊❣

The man who sits at the first manicure table when you first walk in is a very angry man. I did not feel comfortable spending my money there after the way he treated me, therefore I left and prior to me leaving I politely told him that he had a horrible attitude and he kindly told me thank you as if he was proud of his behavior. .It doesn’t take much to be kind to a person. One never knows the path you will cross. To be in an industry where you are catering to people and treating people horribly is simply despicable. My hope is that this man is not The owner of this nail salon because if he is he should be ashamed of himself. The service Is ok but pricey. They dont follow the appointment time so dont expect to be serviced at the time of your appointment. You will definitely wait and you have to ask about cleaning your cuticles and stuff. I come here for the convenience of location but not worth my money. I gave 2 stars because the place is very clean, spacious, and a great atmosphere. Also tip is cash only.

Having an appointment means nothing, feet in water for 30 minutes until they started. Made me pick from book to get matching nail color for feet and nails. In the end after 2 hours colors didnt match! I have to repaint my toenails on own after I left. Ridiculous & they acted like I was wrong.

Everyone is super nice and laid back. They remember their customers. Tracy is the only nail tech that gets all of my nails perfectly straight and shaped correctly. They also sell natural lotions and essential oils now. Prices are decent and they offer student discounts on certain days.

I came here with my friend and my sister, and they were helped right away. I was told to wait as they helped 3 women who came in after me. I was then told I was going to have to “wait for all the ladies” before I was helped (I’m an 18 year old male) It made me feel really unsettled.

They are very busy because they are real good.

Super clean salon, very friendly staff. The owner KILLS me everytime (with jokes) and hes always playing my favorite channels! HA! The prices are reasonable and worth it to me to find such a nice spot, close to home, where they appreciate your business and keep a clean place.

Ive been going to Alpha Nails since it opened, and every time is a great experience. If you want to pamper yourself in a clean and friendly atmosphere, Alpha nail is the place to be. Great customer service which is very hard to find in this area, I am so glad we have such a nice place to go to, and have a relaxing time after a hard day at work, or when you just want some me time. :-)Alpha Nails the best place in town, please stop by and see for yourself you wont regret it.

Staff is rude, waited 30 mins and there was no apology for the wait. There was plenty of staff who were free to do my nails and I still sat waiting. I left and went to PA Nails! There are plenty of other places to go to where you will find courteous staff and get good service.

Just got coffin style pink and white yesterday ....they look amazing..LOVE this place ...Miss Yen did them..she is the best!!!!also found out they tattoo eyebrows.. getting them done soon!

Another great experience at Alpha Nails. I decided to go at the last second without an appointment. I ended up being the only customer there, so I didnt have to wait. Friendly, experienced staff.

I read the reviews before going but went anyway. Big mistake. I went and waited 1 hour to get my nails done. No one attempted to update me on when I would be next. After the young lady I thought was going to do my nails started on someone else I asked how long I had to wait and the manager yelled another hour. I could tell she wanted to be confrontational and mind you I am very visibly pregnant. I will never go to this place again.

Horribleee. They take their regulars before they even assist you even if you were there first! (Had 3 people taken before me). Asked for marble nails like they had displayed on one of their nail design hands, and they came out looking like a 5 year olds art project, Was told it was the nail polish made them remove it because I would never pay for something like that. Ended up spending 2+ hours in salon for horrible work and nothing that I asked for. Acrylics are extremely bumpy . Worst nail salon Ive been to by FAR

Manager is verbally abusive. Treated my daughter disrespectfully after she pointed out that 4 if her nails werent done correctly. DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL. I had to dispute the charge with my bank because they wouldnt fix her nails.

The owner there pretends to be just a manicurist so that he wont have to deal with any complaints about his staff treating the customers wrong. The staff ridicules and embarasses the customers. Now lets get into how bad they do nails...or is that even necessary after already being treated in a rude manner. I suffer from very bad anxiety from PTSD and the way I was treated should not be allowed. The asked for the owners name...knowing he was the owner...and he gave me a fake name and told me to call on another day. I know he was the owner because i was specifically recommended there to see him but when i arrived he was not visibly there yet. He only showed up when i asked to have another person do my manicure and that i wanted to speak with someone about how this mam was treating me. I had to sit in my car for at least 15 minutes to not have an axiety fit because of how this manicurist spoke to me. I would post a picture of this rude person but this app does not allow me to. To be an owner to an establishment and allow your staff to belittle your customers is just unacceptable.

I’ve been coming here for four years! Today for the first time I tried to make an appt and Tracey picked up the phone she was completely RUDE. I understand they may be overwhelmed and over worked but for someone who’s been coming here for four years I thought they would have a little compassion. Not only for me but for everyone they serve. So, I’ve decided to change my review from a 5 to a 3. Customer service is everything and today it just was not it.
