I saw Ashley and she was amazing!! She was so sweet made sure I was comfortable the entire visit from the water temperature while washing to asking if I was too hot while she was blowing out my hair. She really listened to what I wanted and definitely delivered what I had pictured in my mind. I am so, so happy with my haircut. I will ABSOLUTELY be back to see her! This was the worst haircut experience I have ever had. Save yourself the heartache and frustration and just dont go there. At least not for a curly cut from the Alisha. I was mortified to walk to my car. I would never leave a bad review for someone who I thought did their best and tried their hardest but came up short. That was not the case here. She lacked effort and caring. I literally saw her take a chunk of my hair out while looking the other way at the other people in the salon. Then she didnt even style it afterwards like she said she would so how would she know if my curly cut turned out correct? Which it didnt. Im a licensed cosmetologist so I can speak with authority on this. Just dont do it.

I am not a frequent patron of salons but my hair is very long & very fine and I wanted a nice clean up with some curtain bangs & long layers.Sabrina was so sweet and friendly, knew exactly what I wanted and delivered better than I expected!My locks are precious to me and Sabrina gave me a beautiful style & kept my hairs length.Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, making sure I was happy with my experience and I am!I will definitely be returning for any of my future salon needs and highly recommend Lavish Salon and Sabrina for a personable, professional and beautiful hair experience (:

I enjoyed time with her assistant as well; my apologies for not catching her name, she is kind + generous with her time and care with the wash + set. After a style with Alisha, I was stunned with the results. Love, love, love.

If you have natural hair (very tight curls) I wouldn’t recommend here. Alisha cut my hair wet and when it dried it had an unflattering shape. The color I did was also uneven so I had to go back to get another toner. I personally had a really bad experience.

Everything was smooth sailing from booking to leaving. My hair transformation was on point! I went with so much confidence; thank you for cutting away all the bad energy.

I recently moved to RI and hadn’t gotten a haircut since the pandemic began. Having curly hair (3A+3B), it can be difficult and scary to put that trust in someone. Luckily, I found Lavish Salon and my hair is forever grateful.I’ve had two appointments with this salon so far. First, I had a haircut with Alisha. I wasn’t looking for anything drastic, just a refresh and getting rid of split ends. Alisha does a dry cut, meaning each curl is handled with care. The products used are meant for curly hair and my hair loved the nourishment. I am so impressed with the result and will continue to come back for routine cuts.I went back a week later to freshen up my hair. I have been dying my hair on and off for a decade and was ready to go back to blonde. This time I saw Sabrina. This appointment was quite long but the results were so worth it. Sabrina brought so much dimension to my hair. She took my reference photo and made it a perfect fit for me.The salon also took proper COVID safety protocol. Got my first curly cut in 2019 when I began my natural hair journey. Came back 2 years later almost to date to get an entirely different bold look and I LOVE IT. Waited patiently for such a major change in my life and it was VERY much worth it!

My hair was so overly processed, its unmanageable. I was hoping it would eventually go back to its normal pattern and able to comb again but it hasnt. Im going to have to shave it off. IVE been growing my hair since 2016. This damage is from a horrible bleach job. I didnt even get the color I requested.

Taking Covid very seriously. Call to check-in, have your temperature taken at the door, and you have to sanitize your hands before entering the salon. The stations have huge plexiglass panes separating the workspace and only one customer is allowed in the shampooing area at a time. Also they use premium products for curly hair!

I have been going to Lavish Salon since early this year. This is hands down one of the most professional and excellent place. My stylist Jaime is very good. I have never had him do a bad haircut. He listens, takes his time and does a fantastic job. I travel from Boston just for a haircut because there is no one like Jaime! Definitely check this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

I have been going to Lavish Salon for the last three years. I have very tight curls, and I was hesitant to get a haircut, as I was always chemically straightening my hair. I met with Alisha, Master Stylist and Owner, for a consultation prior to moving forward with a haircut. When I did cut my hair, she took the time to walk me through the process and make recommendations. My hair is so healthy and is growing, and I cant thank Alisha enough!

Jamie is a stellar stylist! I can only speak highly of him. On his day off from the salon, Jamie happened to come across my dog and me at the park, as we were locked out of the car. He graciously drove us home to drop the furbaby off and even brought me back to the park to retrieve my car. I hope the universe sends him all of the good blessings he deserves. What wonderful character and good soul Jamie has. I am so grateful. He is one of the most kind-hearted, caring people I have ever met and takes pride in his accomplished career.

Went for an all over color. Requested cool ash brown over my dark brown hair. The girl I saw was clearly either sick or hungover that day, she disappeared for almost 30 minutes, came back and slapped some random color she had mixed into my hair. It obviously didnt take because she didnt lift my hair color with bleach first. So she took 30% off my bill and sent me omw with the same exact color I walked in with. I emailed the owner on what happened when they sent me my receipt, and she never bothered to respond because she doesnt care. That was my 2nd time there and I wont be returning.

I wish I had an awesome experience like so many other seem to have but that wasn’t the case. This was my first time getting my hair professionally done I ended up somewhat disappointed I paid about 260 for what I got done but the original price was almost 500 but thanks to the holiday special I took advantage of I got it for lower which is great. I would right off the bat say it wasn’t worth the original price. I was in the salon for about 8 hours and some of that time was due to my stylist walking to the back and leaving me for long periods of time without really checking up on how my hair was processing. I had a color put into my hair and the first time washing it with cold water and sulfate feee shampoo (as recommended by my stylist) most of the color washed out and I was left with an underlying yellow orange tint. Once I contacted my stylist about my feelings towards my hair we had a conversation and I was told to come in at a time but when I asked for another appointment time I was ignored. My hair is alright but I was expecting so much more.
