My husband and I have been terribly terrified of the dentist. My daughter Kaitlynn started working for this office, I told her I still would not be seen because of my fears. She reassured me that this office makes you feel so comfortable. My husband and I gave it a try, and I can say I have finally found my dentist forever ! The office staff is amazing and brings such a great positive vibe to the office. If your looking for a friendly place, this is where you should go !

Friends and Family is the Disney World of dental offices. Its easily the second happiest place on earth! The staff is so nice and friendly, you couldnt possibly be in a bad mood while youre here. That being said, its no Mickey Mouse operation. Dr. Garber not only knows his stuff, but his practice is on the cutting edge of new technology and procedures. If you need a dentist (and you will eventually) call Friends and Family Dental. Its like being in Orlando, without the heat, crowds and expensive souvenirs.

Calling a Dental office when it’s the last place you want to be is understood only by those who have a real fear of Dentist Calling this Dental office is like discussing your fear with a friend. The minute I started talking to Katlyn she made me feel better but most of all she understood. She never pushed just gently prodded me in the right direction as if she was long time friend Then when I went and had Anna as a hygienist who cared and talked with me, took time I couldn’t believe it And just in case it sounds to good to be true Dr Garber walks in and says I’m glad you came today. I am terrified of the Dentist; Ive had really bad experiences in the past, so when I first went the Friends and Family Dental I was very nervous. I can tell you this they are all very pleasant and they will sit with you and explain everything in detail what they are going to do before they do it and while they are doing work on your teeth they tell you everything. I couldnt even feel it when they stuck my gums with the needle; they put me at so much ease I no longer fear the dentist and my entire family now goes including my mom!!!

Friends and Family Dental is a great place. I had lost a filling and did not have a dentist. They were kind and understanding of my situation and were able to schedule me within a few days (less than a week). During my first visit, I noticed how professional & clean the office was while safely following COVID guidelines. Emily is very friendly and makes one feels welcomed walking into the office. Dr. Garber was great; he respectfully informed me about my situation and presented how it would be taken care of. I felt comfortable; which is not how I feel about sitting in the dentist chair. I had a great experience that I decided to schedule a cleaning--they were able to schedule me within two weeks of my first visit. During my cleaning, I had Janet who is lovely. She asked if I had an concerned and was able to address and give me informative feedback about possible scenarios/options. I am glad to have found Friends & Family Dental! Highly recommend!

I had the most amazing experience at Friends and Family! I am anxious when it comes to dental work, and Emily made me comfortable before I even stepped foot in the door! She assured me they would help my pain and get me on the road to recovery! She was 100% right! Ana the RDH and Dr. Garber (apologies if it is spelled wrong) were fabulous as well! They were patient, kind, understanding and they made me feel heard! They addressed all of my concerns and answered all my questions with a kind and friendly demeanor! Their bedside manor was top notch! They will be my dentist office for a long time to come! I highly highly recommend them!

Best dentist I have ever been to! I am absolutely terrified of the dentist! I avoid going unless I am in pain. Last week I found out that I needed a root canal and I was a nervous wreck. Both Dr. Garber and Emily were extremely friendly, welcoming, walked me through the process and told me I don’t need to worry. They were 100% correct! Dr. Burgner who did my root canal was fantastic!!! I did not feel a single thing. He made sure I was numb before he began and let me know that if I felt anything he would stop and numb me more. Carolyn the assistant was great as well! She made sure that I was ok through the entire process. I have officially found my new dentist! I recommend that everyone go to Dr. Garber!

My crown broke and my friend told me to go to Dr Garber as my own dentist had retired! I wish I had gone to Dr Garber years ago. He gave me options, took pictures of my tooth, put the picture on a monitor and explained what I was seeing. He is so kind, patient and amazing. Dr . Garber answers all your questions and respects your decisions! His assistant Donna is personable, welcoming and makes you feel like you’ve known her for years. She heard me talking to Dr Garber about floss sticks and when I got out of the chair Donna handed me a package of them. Donna is so attentive and even with the PPE on you can see she is smiling at you. The office staff greets you when you come in with a BIG smile and they are so helpful in scheduling your next appointment. This office is clean, bright and everyone is positive and happy and they make you feel that way too! The front desk women are so friendly, everyone is welcoming. I was having such a toothache, that I decided to contact this dental office to try to see if they could see me right away. I immediately received such a warm greeting when I called. They instantly gave me an appointment for the very next day where they discovered one of my wisdom tooth was infected. Several days later I had it removed, between the job well done and the amazing staff I was one happy patient.

I am beyond satisfied with my experience here. I was nervous about going to a new office after my prior experience but I can honestly say this office surpassed my expectations. The staff here are super nice and attentive, they listened to all my concerns and took their time with explaining everything. I honestly have no complaints, would definitely recommend to everyone!

I have a terminal cancer and seizures. During a seizure I bet down and clinch so hard I cracked a molar and a half with an exposed nerve. In a crisis during the Covid crisis this office save the day. And I just had a bother seizure and messed up my front. The receptionist is so lovely and is doing everything in her power to help me and it’s 6:27. Angels this whole building is full of angels. I would recommend to everyone.

I had broke a tooth last friday and I didnt have a dentist to go to. I found Friends and Family on Google with great reviews. I called up explained my situation and within an hour i had a call back with an appointment for the following Monday. I hate going to the dentist but the entire staff at Friends and Family made me feel so comfortable and calmed my nerves. I had to do a root canal but it was the least painful experience I have ever had at the dentist. My wife and a few other family members will be switching to Friends and Family Dental now.

Pretty much everyone in my family has come here, even my five year old loved it. Had dental cleaning done here and Im so glad they didnt butcher my gums like Ive had at other dental offices. Will definitely be coming back here regularly 👌

Amazing service!!!!!! I was referred to this dentist by my Orthadontist and it’s been great. The hygienist and I clicked immediately. She was so amazing to talk to. She walked me through every step. The dentist is great as well. He was able to do exactly what I wanted. Always a pleasure coming here.

When I needed emergency dental treatment nobody else would take me in. Friends and Family were able to get me in the same day right before a holiday weekend. I really cant speak highly enough of this place after a single visit. I went there for some mild tooth pain that escalated over the course of a few days to a full jaw/earache situation in addition to inflammation so bad I could not chew properly. I have to give them top marks in terms of how they are handling a doctors office setting during a pandemic; no patients allowed in the waiting room, spacing between appointments for sanitizing practices, even having me fill out the paperwork in my car - as someone who works at a grocery store with high volumes of people, I can appreciate this level of cleanliness and organization given what they could potentially be exposed to. As soon as I was done with the paperwork, I was escorted inside by the receptionist who introduced me to the hygienist and got me settled in. Both the receptionist and hygienist were focused on two things; keeping it clean and keeping everyone smiling, something I really appreciated having not been to the dentist in several years. One look at my mouth and she knew it was bad, so I got X-rays done. (By the way, they have a fancy new X-ray machine that goes around your head while you stand in place; thats pretty cool on its own, but this one played classical music as it was taking the pictures. Lovely!) X-rays showed infection, pericoronitis and the cavity that started it all. The dentist initially was thinking of referring me to someone else to have my wisdom teeth out but prescribed me amoxicillin to combat the infection ahead of time. All said and done, I was in and out of the office before my wife could get to Target in Seekonk. Within 48 hours the swelling had gone down significantly, and within 72 hours of starting the antibiotics, I was able to eat again with no pain or pressure. Ive got to give everyone there credit, this was probably the most enjoyable dentist visit I have ever had despite being in pain the whole time. And to top it all off, in my pain-hazed mind, I had misread my insurance and thought that my plan was covered... I was wrong, and the receptionist did everything she could in the moment talking to my insurance company about the situation. The fact that I had never been there before and they would go out of their way to do everything possible to help me (and save me money) was very refreshing, and I would like to thank everyone there all of their compassion and friendly attitudes!

I had a crown fall off at the end of my work day on a Friday. I did not want to wait until Monday to have it fixed, so I looked for a place that would take me on such short notice, and they were able to fit me in by the end of the day! They were wonderful to me, and fixed my crown. Highly recommend!!

After a very unsettling experience with my son’s previous dentist, finding Family and Friends Dental has been such a breath of fresh air. Dr. Garber was very informative and gentle while explaining every detail of what he was doing during my son’s filling. He made him feel very comfortable during the entire experience. The whole staff was so sweet and welcoming as well. The building is beautiful and the equipment is all brand new. I’m so glad I found Dr. Garber & his team!! Wish I could give 10 stars.

The staff here is super friendly and attentive. They are very good about appointment times. If youre scheduled for 2:15, you will be in the chair by 2:15. The equipment is very up to date and the dentists are very good at what they do. They have TVs on the ceiling to keep your mind occupied during the appointment. You can even sign in to your Netflix or Hulu. Something that will definitely keep the little ones occupied and comfortable during their visits. Would definitely recommend :)

I dont like going to the dentists. After putting it off for too long, I decided to give Friends and Family Dental a try. Not only was this THE best dental experience Ive ever had, but I finally enjoyed a dental visit. Dr. Garber and his team were extremely nice, thorough and professional. They used some really cool, state-of-the-art dental equipment to clean my teeth and take high quality images of areas of potential concern. With that information, they gave me highly personalized suggestions for my oral care, not just that the scripted brush twice a day for two minutes, and floss once a day. I WILL continue going to Friends and Family Dental. Thanks Dr. Garber and team!!

After a horrible experience at another location (basically nothing at all), my daughter called this dentist for her dad’s severe toothache. They took my hubby the same day and ACTUALLY RESOLVED his problem and pain. My hubby, who hates going to the dentist, has been so thankful and literally hasn’t shut up about Dr. Garber for 3 days already. My hubby is so happy that he didn’t feel anything at all and emphasizes on how caring Dr. Garber and his staff is. Thank you Dr. Garber for making my hubby better. My husband went to see Dr. Garber and had a Zoom! whitening session and a front tooth fixed. I went with him to check it out as I was thinking about getting a new dentist (spoiler: Im definitely going to go to Dr. Garber). We were both very impressed with the state-of-the-art equipment and, more importantly, Dr. Garbers depth of knowledge and ability to turn that knowledge into real world problem solving skills. He also took the time to explain the hows and whys of the different procedures. With traffic, we live more than an hour away but Dr. Garbers expertise is well worth the commute! Also, the entire office is unbelievably nice!

Dr. Garber’s office provides a warm and congenial atmosphere for first time patients such as myself. As an ‘old guy’ bringing some serious dental problems in the door with me, however, I was most impressed with Dr. Garber’s professionalism...after a cleaning and a very thorough examination using the latest technology he took substantial time prioritizing my various issues and together we developed a plan for going forward...I’m confident in the plan and I’m confident in my new dentist carrying out that plan...3 cheers for Dr. Garber and his staff...wayne Goodlin, Barrington, R.I.
