I had an absolute nightmare happen yesterday. My computer blue screened, and my drives were all too full to be able to restore and or reset my computer. I thought I was totally screwed and lost hours upon hours of data and project work for my job. I called Dave at 2PM, he heard how stressed out I was about thinking I lost my data and my PC to some kind of corruption in my OS. I dropped my computer off around 2:30, by 4PM my computer was fixed and every single piece of data on my PC was restored. Absolute legend Dave is for this. David was wonderful! I had an old Panasonic DVD player that had a burned out capacitor that needed to be replaced. That required soldering in a new one. David was the only person around (Southeastern MA, the Cape and Rhode Island) who knew how to solder and do it properly. Even other chain computer and electronic repair shops did not have someone with the knowledge to solder. When I brought the capacitor in, David changed it and repaired it in an instant! He even put other work aside to help me out. The player was fully repaired and worked GREAT! Best of all, because the repair was so minor, David didnt even charge me! (Although I insisted he take a tip for his great work!) If I ever have a computer repair issue, I know where Im going first.

Incredible service, quality and professionalism at DA Computer. They could not figure out a minor clicking that was happening to my gaming computer, but took a week to look it over and countless hours, a whole lot of work and effort...but since they did not do any actual repairs they did not charge me a penny! I will go 10/10 times to DA for any technology issue. I intend on going back soon for an upgrade, the go to guy for any computer issue in RI!

When I called in the first time David was immediately helpful in diagnosing my problem over the phone, and during the repairs he was always friendly, helpful, and accommodated my needs as a customer. Many of my laptops issues seemed completely mind boggling, but David would not rest until we got to the bottom of them and he only charged for the initial repairs. I could not recommend this place more, especially having dealt with other local shops that were unclear on what services they could provide, much more expensive, rude and unaccommodating.

Dave is professional, punctual, up-front, and a nice guy to boot. Prices seem reasonable (he quotes his repair work by the hour) and you are allowed to purchase the replacement parts yourself to make sure you have a warranty for yourself in case the replacement component ever develops problems in the future. He disassembled my entire laptop and replaced the motherboard with no issues. Thanks, Dave!EDIT: Following a second visit 6 months later to address a new problem that had developed (fan failure), Dave noticed while working on my machine that my battery had begun to bloat, which I now understand can result in spontaneous combustion if left unchecked! I was worried that my computer was having battery issues since it wasnt holding charge and there was a message stating AC adapter not recognized and neither regular charger nor universal charger were working. When my laptop crashed AND my backup external driver turned out to be corrupted (data inaccessible), I turned to D.A. Computer LLC. Recently had both my laptop and desktop computers shutdown. Unable to do anything I found D.A. Computers on google search. Since they were close by I brought both computers there on Saturday. Dr Dave is great in diagnosing, repairing, and returning your computer quickly. His rates are very fair and his work is guaranteed. He goes out of his way to find the right parts. He replaced my laptops whole keyboard and when it stopped working a few days later he refunded my money. Strangely it started working again a week later. When I called to pay him, he suggested we let it go 60 days to make sure everything was okay before I paid again. I had to call him and force the issue before he would take my cash. He wanted to be sure i was completely satisfied with the service.

Dave saved me fro spending $$$$. My laptop wasnt working for months although it was not even a year old and it would make the noise of starting up but the screen would not turn on. I scheduled an appointment with best buy and within a one minute chat, they told me that it was either the motherboard or a wire problem connecting the motherboard to the screen. So needless to say I was ready to buy a new laptop but the best buy guy told me to go to D.A. Computer and it was the best thing. I went to Dave and told him that I had an online class and Im still in college and I NEED my laptop. He opened it up right in front of me and told me that he can try a few things. 20 minutes later, I have my baby back up and running. Came in here for the first time a month ago when my work laptops screen quit working on me. After a quick diagnosis, Brian (I think is his name) gave me a quote to fix it, but I decided instead to just buy a new one because I needed it for work and couldnt wait. He was helpful throughout, and even suggested coming back if I wanted to sell the old laptop after I transferred the data. Well, I did that and met the owner (again, I think), and hes equally as nice and helpful. He cut me a check for my old laptop and offered me some solutions for setting up my new one. Its good to have these kind of down-to-earth shops still present, and this place definitely deserves your business. I will be back, too, with any new issues that hopefully dont pop up.

This was my second experience at DA computer. This is an extremely professional store. I worked at different times with both the owner Dave and his assistant Mike. Both of these gentlemen were superb. They took my relatively simple problem extremely seriously. The went the extra mile for me, spending extra time on diagnosis, going out of thway to clean and organize and kept me up to date through the entire process which was resolved quickly. They are knowledgeable and able to really walk me through the more complex problems. Even better the final price was well below what I would have expected for how much work went in to this. I brought a Mac Pro in for repair. Dave took it in and repaired it. It needed a new set of batteries and a SSD drive. ok so he fixed it. its how he fixed it that rates an A+ with me. He called me every step of the way informing me f the progress. HE CALLED ME. I didnt have to chase him, or listen to excuses. so I pick it up. I found that I needed an admin password. I went on D As website and there was a chat feature. it was. Sunday and lo and behold, Dave came on the line and answered me. What a pleasure to deal with someone who puts customers ahead of profits. Went it couldnt fix it,which is fine. I bring it to another place to get it repaired and as they do it Im also watching and they picked out thst my lap top missed a footing and a few screws and a small indentation in the corner of the keyboard...if you have a $800 dollar laptop...i wouldnt recommend it.
