Worst experience. I got to the location to pick up a car for an appointment via an insurance claim and no one was there. Only a sign on the door saying theyd be back in 45 minutes. No one called to say theyd be closed. I dropped this car off 10 days ago and they STILL have not closed out the rental and sent me a receipt. They keep blaming it on the insurance company and the insurance company keeps saying they have been calling Hertz. Anyway, go to any other Hertz location that has more than 1 person working there. 10 days later I shouldnt be calling every other day to ask why the car isnt closed out. Not once did anyone call to try to follow up with me either.
The woman working in front is really nice but twice Ive gone now and no one was there during business hours. Very unreliable since I depend on them for uber rentals. Going to be using avid from now on.
Hertz has been there for me for 3 years straight. Great company 😎
They never answer the phone been calling since yesterday so I can extend my car but other than that great place.

They only had one person working there - who made me wait a long time, and then just told me to go to another location in Providence!! They didnt even try to help me, or rent a car to me -- WASTED MY TIME. I would give 1 star, but its not the ladys fault that she was working there alone. GO ANYWHERE ELSE, dont waste your time here!Edit: Changing my review to 1 star, customer support was helpless and bounced me around DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
Nick is the best employee Hertz has. I rented cars in the past and this car rental in East Providence Rhode island is the best car renting experience Ive ever had. My car broke down, I walked to much re injuring my disabling old injuries and needed a rental car right away as I was fatigued. Thanks Hertz

Not even sure where to start.... this location compared to any other location was very unorganized, The representatives seem to have a chip on their shoulder’s. I am a firm believer if you don’t like your job then find another one. Even the manager was useless! I went on down the street to enterprise and they treated me like an all-star. Some advice to whoever runs this location I would get a whole new crew thanks stay blessed -Tommy K
The Manager, Jill is AWESOME. Hopefully she’s aiding in your reservation because she runs this location with precision and great customer service!!! SHE NEEDS TO BE RECOGNIZED FOR HER ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!
The people are nice. But their system is difficult to deal with and seemed way too expensive. could have bought a used car for the price I paid for a 12-day rental
Very bad experience, I had a reservation and I walked in regular hours but no one was there. I just simply go to enterprise next door and had fantastic experience
Excellent customer service. Fast, efficient, and very affordable prices. Highly recommend this place. They have a special where you can pay Hertz for gas upfront (I believe its less than $2 per gallon). This allows you to not have to worry about returning the vehicle with a full tank, Hertz will take care of it. Prices may range (I rented a Toyota Camry and paid $25 upfront for a full tank). Cant beat that!!
Ive rented from here a couple times and have had great experiences both times. The employees are extremely helpful and courteous and go out of their way to make the process easier. I had an issue with my most recent rental that was remedied quickly and fairly. Ill easily rent from there again.
Awesome service, this was the easiest car rental experience Ive ever had. They werent pushy at all, and the car was in great condition. Will definitely rent here again in the future :)
I rented a minivan from this location last week and the people who work at this local was fantastic. BUT... the minivan was extremely dirty. The inside have cake crumbs, lots of dirt and hair on the seats and floor. Every door handle, window, dash board, arm rest, etc was sticky and nasty. I arrived home and I took 30 minutes to clean out the inside, and I even used febreze to get rid of the smell. Then I took this van to a local car wash to have it washed and vacuumed. This is no exaggeration
Worst service. Visited the office to pickup a vehicle., was greeted with a closed door with a notice that they were off to help a customer and will be back by 1:30. Waited till 2, called the number on the notice, got a reply that they will be back in 10min. One of the staff came at 2:30., was made to wait another 30min as the computer is not working. Pathetic service. Claiming yourself having largest fleet of rental cars, and only one person to look after the whole office? If he/she needs to help someone out, closing the office and making the customers wait outside till he/she comes back? Especially with the wrong info on the notice, depicting an estimated time which is far from reality. Appoint more employees and provide better services.
