This place is a priceless gem! I have had speakers, a turntable, and a pretty complicated integrated amp repaired with excellent results and a fast turnaround each time. the price for repairs was very good, and service is friendly and top notch. If you are into vintage audio you need check these guys out. from vintage Mid Fi, to real high end stuff! you never know what will walk through the door on any given day. I just wish a list of what was in stock would be published on the store website because I live an hour away. Also the owner is a wealth of knowledge about all things HIFI, which is very helpful. I been a very faithful customer, and in saying that. I have never been unsatisfied with the service, expertise on certain audio systems or prices. I have been a loyal customer since the late 80s and I will only go to Stereo Discount Center for everything that I need in High End Systems. Stu is the Guru.

An amazing place for stereo service. Stu and Scott have an incredible amount of knowledge about audio equipment. They seem to be able to figure out a repair just from an explanation of the issue.An another item that makes it worthy of a visit is the incredible collection of stereo equipment of all ages and brands. I use to sell home audio and visiting Stus shop was like a trip back in time with the variety of items in the store.We came all the way from New Hampshire for repairs based on Stu and Scott s well deserved reputation.

I took in an ADCOM tuner/receiver and an NAS cassette deck for servicing - neither was working. They got both working well, and when I had an issue with the tuner, they took it back to look at again with no issues. (They had it working right the first time. My problem is just one of bad reception in my location.) I had a very good experience working with them, and thought their work was excellent at a reasonable cost. Plus there is tons of stuff available for sale in the store...!

These guys are the best! I called to have a speaker repaired and was told it would take a few days. When I dropped it off, Stu told me to hang around...10 minutes later, he replaced the broken connector and I was home listening to tunes a half hour later! Thanks for the awesome service!

This place is one of a kind. Only place in RI that has this much diversity in audio gear and also the knowledge of it. Stu is top notch as his tech is. Not pushing the flavor of the month. He takes the time to explain anything you ask. Simply cause he can. Try that elsewhere and you will here crickets.

Brought in an old Technics receiver to be repaired. Stu told me I could save some money by picking out an equivalent Technics receiver. So glad I did. Took it home, set it up, and its just fabulous. The place is filled with awesome equipment and the service is outstanding. Highly recommended!

Others commenting on the dynamic duo of Stu and Scott are absolutely spot on ... an outstanding combination. Scott is more than technically excellent - he actually cares about and likes what he takes in to repair. If you are looking for audio beyond average market stuff, this is the right place. It offers a large variety of home audio from classic vintages to the brand new. The owner and staff is very helpful, they know very well what they are dealing with. If you clearly define what you want, youll have an audio demo that will ease picking up the right system in a decent price.
