We had just bought a house that needed new flooring while living out of the state. Worried about not being able to meet in person, the work not being done on time or the workmanship being of low quality, we asked a few friends in the area for any references. Luckily, a few of our friends had worked with Scott and Sinnott Flooring. From our first interaction to the last, it was everything we were hoping it to be. They were very professional, on-time, clean, and the floors look absolutely stunning. Below is just one picture, but they completed our entire first floor. Highlight recommend!

I contacted Sinnott Flooring based on a recommendation from Nextdoor. Once contacted, Scott Sinnott came out within the week and provided me with a very reasonable quote. Scott worked with me on the scheduling of the job, showed up each day on time, constantly updated me on the progress, and completed well within the estimated timeframe. The finished product was tremendous! The work, Scott and his staff were outstanding and truly professional.

Scott refinished all the hardwood in our house back in May. He was fantastic to work with. He gave a fair quote, didnt pressure us and when I called him back to schedule, he worked with me to fit our work in a tight window considering we had a baby on the way. He gave us great recommendations for things to change and the stain color he recommended was spot on! Our floors look outstanding! We would recommend him to anyone - fair, honest & shows up on time.

Scott refinished our downstairs floors a few years ago and we just had him back to do the bedrooms. I cannot recommend him enough! The finished product is gorgeous, he always left the house clean and tidy and hes an all-around great person. I work from home and he was always polite and respectful of my time letting me know when to expect them so I could plan work meetings accordingly.

I am not always the best at leaving reviews, but I would be doing a disservice to anyone looking for flooring and a positive experience if I didn’t leave a recommendation for Scott and his business. They gave a tired hardwood floor an amazing new life, as well as installed a beautiful new floor in a spare bedroom which is becoming a home office. Not only do they do great work, they are a downright pleasure to work with. The process was simple, and the area was left cleaner than before. If I had more floors, I’d call again and again!

Hugh at Sinnott Flooring did a fantastic job sanding and staining all of our floors. He had to fill in floor boards where we used to have tile and try to match to the existing hardwood...and you can’t tell the difference at all as to where the original flooring ends and the newly installed hardwood begins. I would highly recommend their services.

We had a great experience, start to finish, with Sinnott Flooring and highly recommend them! We had them rip up the carpets to expose and refinish the original 1920s hardwood on our first floor and are SO pleased with the result. They were recommended to us by a neighbor and we will certainly pass on their name to others.

Recently had our ground floor replaced and vinyl flooring laid. I thought they did an excellent job. They were responsive prior to the job starting, and when the time came they didnt waste a minute, showing up very early right on time putting in a real shift. The job was done in 3 days. Were very satisfied with the finished result and Ill look to them for future jobs.

My husband and I recently moved into our house this summer and wanted to rip out the flooring on our first floor and replace with bamboo. Scott was extremely great to work with before and during the job being done. He was always responsive to my husband when he had questions in a very timely matter, whether through text, email or by phone. Eight years ago, we were in a bind with the impending arrival of our first baby and the realization after removing wall-to-wall carpet in the nursery that the floor definitely needed some work. The gents at Sinnott came to look at the floor, gave me a very reasonable quote and then offered to do the work over their Christmas vacation. The finished product was absolutely amazing.When we were looking to try and do our remaining bedrooms this past summer before moving, I again contacted Sinnott. Scott and his crew recently refinished (sanded, repaired, stained, and sealed) the floors in our home. We have oak floors that are original to the house, and we absolutely love the way they turned out. He was very professional and was very responsive to our questions. They showed up on time and kept us updated on their day to day progress. They fixed all of the problem areas that we pointed out, and even ones we didnt point out. They also took the time to put up drop cloths to keep the dust out of the rooms that werent being sanded. I wish all contractors were like this! The cost was very reasonable as well. I highly recommend this company.
