I had my car towed to H&H because the car accelerated after braking to a stop, causing it to lurch forward when it should remain stopped. Although the mechanic drove it three times, he said he had run diagnostics and there was no problem. I had to take the vehicle to the dealer to have it fixed.

Battery went dead over the weekend and would not recharge. First thing Monday morning, I called H&H. They sent someone out with a battery starter and started my car so I could drive it to the station. They put in a new battery while I waited. I was out at 9:30AM. I really appreciate getting such prompt service.

They towed my truck a total of 3.5 miles and charged $405.00. Unbelievable. We checked the entire Lansing area to get an average cost for a similar tow & the average was $135. Beware Josh (H &H towing is a RIP off)

I have been a customer of H&H Mobil for a few years now, but no more. I started going to them years ago because a friend mentioned they were trustworthy, but over the past few months they have completely lost my trust. And my business. I don’t know if they have new management but it is not the same quality of customer service at all. My oil changes have steadily increased in price each time, jumping from 40 some dollars, to 60, up to 100 dollars. (I drive an old vehicle, there is just no need for a $100 oil change, I always tell them just give me the most basic oil change and nothing else.) The charges make no sense and when I argued with them about it, each time they said it was the labor and the oil I selected, which was a bold claim considering I asked for a standard oil change with nothing fancy (which I wrote on the form) and never selected any oil boxes. This last time I sent my husband in my place, and when he left he walked away with a bill lower than I ever paid. It’s clear to me by the way I have been treated by H&H Mobil that they think because I’m a woman they can price gouge me. I am not so dumb that I can’t check a box or read a receipt. And I’m not dumb enough to let this place take advantage of me again. I fully understand what has happened here and I will no longer be taking my business here. Ladies, I would avoid this place if you’re looking for work on your vehicles, you will be over charged. They start out nice, but after they gain your trust they feel entitled to overcharge you and tell you it’s your fault. No thanks, there are places in town that can change oil and charge a fair price, no matter who walks up to the counter.

Professional service, job will be done proper. Prices not the best. But you can trust the work will not be done improperly. If you value quality, then pay a good shop to work on your car.

Because of my family members motorcycle accident his bike was towed to H & H. When our insurance company tried to arrange for it to be towed to the repair facility, their front end staff stated our bike had already been picked up. 5 days later after a search by the insurance company & ourselves our bike was back at their impound lot with only the owner being able to find it.When I expressed my frustration with the situation, the owner offered to remove it from his impound lot & put it outside by the street.Im not sure if this is how this business operates all the time, but I dont take kindly to threats & will not use H & H again for anything. Im not telling you not to use this business, Im just reporting what happened to my family.

Josh and his crew are always so professional and helpful. They came to our house to jump a battery. Then at the shop, tested the battery and solved a problem with the gate lift. They always give great service and advice. Their polite and courteous manner make you feel well taken care of.

Towed a car on private property, with the approval of a management company that is NOT the management company of the complex. Police are even clueless as to who the management company is. SAD

H & H Mobil is really Mobil. With there 12 Wrecker Service Trucks they are faster than 911. They will be there fastest. So call Jimmy Johns and H& H Mobil at the same time. H &H will show up first.

A friend of mine went here and experienced clear sexism, and after being confronted about it H&H Mobil seems to be doubling down rather than issuing an apology to her and her husband regarding the issue. What a joke. Initially she was told it was because they used a premium oil even though she requested a regular oil change for her old vehicle, but now that she has proven them wrong with receipts they are trying to blame it on a brake inspection? Wow. Way to double down on your sexist mistake rather than just apologize and admit to the wrong.

My power steering line was leaking pretty bad. I was ecstatic when H&H said they could fix either that day or the next once they received the new part. I now see why other reviews speak so poorly on the professionalism and disrespectful nature of this company. As stated in other reviews, Josh Clayton has to be the most disrespectful “manager” I’ve ever come across. Absolutely unprofessional and rude. It’s honestly too bad this place has a decent repair shop, because if they were strictly a towing company I’m sure they wouldnt have such high reviews. An absolute clown show of a company and manager, watch out and pray that you never have to deal with them.

God bless the wonderful people at H & H! I am an active octogenarian who was returning home from the movies with my almost 97-year-old friend when my brake warning light came on. (She is very active and driving everywhere to help and run errands for herself and family. And she has a newer car than my 20 year old one - which we probably should have taken!🤪)Fortunately, we were close to H & H. These guys have been giving me great service for a number of years, so I headed for the station. Jacob kindly and efficiently checked to affirm that the brake fluid level was fine etc. I decided to head home so my friend could pick up her car in my apartment parking lot and head on to her home several miles away. The next morning, the mechanics came and took my car back to the shop. Within a few hours, they assessed the problem and returned my car, parking it right back in my assigned spot in our underground garage.The courtesy and concern shown by everyone at H & H is outstanding! I especially appreciate the fact that they enable me to stay in the comfort of my own home well they service my car. I have some health issues that make it impossible for me to sit in the repair garage environment.They are truly lifesavers for us active “seasoned citizens”‼️

These guys are the best. I trust them to shoot me straight. They were able to diagnose a failing battery almost immediately, and swapped it out and got me back on the road in about 25 minutes.

They dont suggest a whole list of needed repairs (especially for an older car) but, rather, they provide options and alternatives to get the vehicle safely back on the road. I had not been in in awhile as I got a new car that needed no service for awhile. I recently returned for an oil change and was delighted to see familiar faces and get the same friendly, competent service. This review would not have been made if I wasnt frustrated by the situation Im in, so take it with a grain of salt.I probably will have no problems with the staff or service. That is not my complaint. The idea of towing cars at 10pm from a lot totally barren of cars is blatantly a way to make money. I havent paid yet, but Im positive my sin of parking somewhere unobtrusive to anyone will be punished with a heavy fine.This review really is pissing in the wind, as Mobil is a multibillion dollar business who stands nothing to lose. Of course I wouldnt reccomend this service to anyone. Why would I reccomend being towed and extorted to friends and family?

Inaccurate oil change. Did not get rid of all the old oil before changing it. I paid $41 for an imprecise oil change for my engine.

The service bad. They damaged my car while towing it. They are ridiculously expensive. I’m student and they charged 300$ for literally 1 mile towing and when I asked about why they are so expensive they gave dumbest reason I ever heard. Don’t recommend it. There are way better towing companies in the area!

I scheduled a tow with H&H Mobil. I made an appointment at my mechanic’s and I wanted the vehicle to arrive there on time. The driver came in plenty of time—was friendly and completely professional !

Im through with waiting in line at tire stores for a rotation. I called in the morning, went in in the afternoon, and they had me on my way in 20 minutes. And I prefer doing business anytime I can with local businesses. Great job!

Great service from our tow truck driver Dan. He was honest, efficient and courteous. I called for a tow to take my car to a garage but Dan jump started the car first and I was able to drive to the garage myself. A dispatcher also called me and told me what time to expect the driver. I recommend tis company.

Was experiencing what I believed to be alignment issue. Team at H&H did a quick test drive and realized it was a control arm issue. Had part ordered, replaced and back in within 24 hrs. Great service and all working well. Will certainly use again in the future.

Helpful and pleasant. Car would not start. They were there to tow the car within 15 minutes. Starter needed to be replaced. They noticed car was overdue for an oil change and called and asked if I wanted that done as well. Even though they were extremely busy, they completed the repair one day earlier than promised.

My daughter’s car broke down in the middle of an intersection in East LANSING and H and H was on site to tow the car within 15-20 minutes. They towed it back to their shop on the weekend. The offered their repair service to look to see what wrong so I didn’t have to tow it elsewhere. They told me they were a little backed up on service but ending up looking at it and fixed it a day early than anticipated. So far so good. Repair was economical as I was thinking the worse. Would definitely recommend them.
