Lawn Doctor did an amazing job getting a handle on my weeds and grubs in my lawn! Bruna in the office was very knowledgeable in all services and helped me determine which ones my lawn needed to look it’s best. Not only that, but the crews that came to service my lawn were very friendly and introduced themselves at the first service… and did a very thorough job on top of that! I honestly couldn’t recommend a company more.

I have had one application in May 7th. I was told each application would be 5 to 6 weeks apart and free spot weed service would be done should weeds occur in between application. I called 2 weeks ago about the weeds and the color of the lawn. I was told I was due for the the second application the following week. It never happened. I called last week and was told Im scheduled for the application week of June 28th, but we will send someone out on Friday for spot weed service. Nobody came on Friday. I called and was told due to the rain earlier in the week, the service will be on Saturday. Nobody came on Saturday nor did I get a phone call as to why. I called today. The woman in the office did not know why the service wasnt done. I have now been told they will be out today to perform the second application, which is almost 8 weeks from the first application. My issues are the following, 1) I called 2 weeks ago about the weeds. At the very least the spot weed service should have been completed. 2) The second application exceeds the 5 to 6 week period between applications. 3) I understand weather can postpone a scheduled service, but a phone or text message rescheduling would have been helpful. Hopefully the service will improve and if it does I will write another review.

Everyone at Lawn Doctor is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Bruna was able to answer all my questions about their different services and recommend what she thought would work best for our lawn. Would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their lawn!

Six months after the 2020 season was complete I was told that one of my auto-pay payments didnt go through - which was on the same card as the previous 6 payments that had no issue. I was then mandated to pay an invoice that was attached to an email which was addressed to Ann - which is obviously not my name. The email also referenced an incorrect phone number for their business - so I thought something was fishy. I tried the phone number given to me and it was disconnected.Then, when I logged into my Lawn Doctor account I was presented with a bill for Karen who lives at an address in Humble, Texas. This info on the website paired with the previously wrong information didnt match any invoice that I had previously seen. I responded immediately (same day) to Lawn Doctor via email and explained what I was seeing with the wrong name on the email, wrong phone number and a screen shot of Karens bill from the website. From that moment, they NEVER responded to that email and then 3 months later I get a call from a collections agency looking for money.Obviously I was beyond surprised because I never heard back from my email despite asking them to reach out so we could clarify things. I called (today) and asked for the owner, who I was told was unavailable and that I could only work with the accounting manager because they didnt know when he would be available. I tried the owners mobile phone (his number was previously given to me) and left a message for him to call me back. He didnt, the office manager did - and during the call she rudely stated that she just didnt get what Im not understanding about the bill. At this point I was very concerned about this bill and how I was being treated and told them I needed to talk to the owner for clarification before I could pay anything. That phone call was finally returned and I got more of the same. I eventually paid the invoice after being told that if I didnt, things would be sent to collections. All I wanted was some clarification and maybe an apology for all of the incorrect info/events that had transpired, but I never received that.After not being responded to for 3 months, I was sent to collections which is incredibly unprofessional considering the circumstances. As a result of a mistake on the part of Lawn Doctor - whether it was personnel not replying to emails with my questions trying to clear things up before I felt comfortable paying - or a glitch in the system (as I was told) where I was asked to pay some woman from Texas bill - I would NEVER refer anyone to use this branch of Lawn Doctor. I actually feel bad about how this business is being run and that it ruined my opinion of them because I dont even remember the quality of the service they delivered last year.Customer service, understanding a customers requests, explaining things and trying to be helpful goes a long way in the world we live in...

I used the lawn doctor for the first time this year and I was completely satisfied and very impressed with the entire team from the salesperson down to the laborers who performed the work.A little backstory... I used tru green for the first 3 years I owned my home. Every year I was disappointed not only by the results, but by the effort made by them as a whole to do a good job. I decided to do the lawn myself moving forward. Everything went well until last year when my lawn burnt to a crisp during a dry spout and I was traveling for work. After that happened crab grass took over. It couldn’t have looked worse.I contacted Bruna at the Lawn Doctor and discussed a plan to get the lawn back. They came through on everything they said they would do, when they said they would do it. And after the weed treatement a day seeding my lawn came back almost 100%. I was sure that it would be a full 2 years to get my lawn fully green and healthy again. I was wrong and I am glad for that fact.I cannot stress enough how bad my lawn was. When I dethached and pulled all the dead stuff after their treatment I was so worried that there was no way my lawn was going to look good for quite a while. 5 weeks later it looked plush, thick, green, and healthy.I would also like to say that I received the mosquito and tick treatment, and to my surprise... those were very effective as well. I genuinely thought that would be a waste of money. But it was worth it and for anyone considering that treatment, I highly recommend it.These folks are the way to go if you need your lawn to be treated by a professional. They delivered on every promise. And I would also like to point out that Bruna (the salesperson) responded to my texts on nights and on weekends when I had questions. I cannot say enough good things. I will never go back to treating my lawn myself, and I will certainly never go back to trugreen.Brian in Portland

I have had many lawn services and lawn doctor Service is by far the best. I had my lawn reseeded and it turned out fantastic! Of course continuing to water it was imperative but it went from mainly dirt to a luscious lawn that looks like a golf course! I highly recommend them !

After build of our first home, we knew we need an artificial turf and I searched around on the web and stumbled upon Lawn Doctor. Their good ratings were the main reason why we contacted them first. Bruna was really good at handling all the queries I had when I first called. Cleaver came out almost immediately to have a look at the area and a quote was produced in matter of days. We had to wait a bit while I got my concrete completed and they came over almost immediately after the concrete finished. My family was there to see their work and they were impressed. The team were friendly, and the work was done well. They also cleaned up well after.

The Lawn Doctor team of Middletown-Groton has been nothing short of fantastic, From the minute I called the office to the first visit. The office staff was courteous and patient (I asked a million questions and they were all answered) Our technician Clever took the time to walk our yard with us and highlight areas we have concerns with. They even brought by a ball for our dog! :) We have also been getting their tick control service which has been doing a great job in keeping my kids and dog safe of ticks and fleas! I have recommended all my friends! Thank you Lawn Doctor!!!

Clever came out to home in April. Since then we have been tick and mosquito free.
