Alfredo you are amazing person, I couldn’t imagine dealing with anyone more knowledgeable, caring and understanding. Our daughter’s service was perfect!! She was celebrated better than I could have picture, the attention for detail was unimaginable and she looked phenomenal. Her hair and makeup were on point. Thank you for everything!!

This funeral home is truly amazing!! The staff was super understanding of our needs and Chris, the Funeral Director was phenomenal! He helped me every step of the way and made this process easy and run very smooth which is what we needed with the unexpected death of my cousin. They were very accommodating, super clean, and very COVID friendly! I honestly cant express how fantastic and comforting they were!

Carolyn szymaszek was wonderful made a somewhat serious meeting almost fun. Enjoyed picking out what I wanted and Carolyn answered all my questions she was very good at answering all my questions. It was a good experience. Much better than I had anticipated. Would highly recommend her to my friends and family.

People we dealt with were extremely considerate and helpful.

Newkirk and Whitney was extremely helpful guiding me through the funeral process for my mother. They explained everything, were very compassionate and also followed up to help through the grieving process.

They provided an amazing tribute service to celebrate the life of our family member. Their funeral home is beautiful, spacious and clean. They also provided a graveside service which gave our family peace and confort Jonathan and Janice went above and beyond and more to meet the needs of our family. I used to think so highly of Newkirk & Whitney.They were a fixture in town. Now that they are owned by Dignity Memorial, their service is horrible.My mother had purchased a funeral package for herself when my dad passed in 2000. Mom passed in December of 2018.Long after her service, it was brought to my attention that her mausoleum headstone had not been engraved. I was told it would be an extra $400 for the engraving, which I begrudgingly paid. That was last October. Still no engraving but rather a bunch of lies and excuses.Dont trust them, especially Linda Hettrick!

I HAD THE PLEASURE OF DEALING WITH GERRY GERARDI. HE TOOK HIS TIME AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO MY SATISFACTION HE WAS VERY PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL. I DELT WITH NEWKIRK AND WHITNEY FUNERAL HOME WHEN MY DAD PASSED AND WAS SO PLEASED THEN AND I COULDNT BE MORE PLEASED NOW. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Unfortunately I had to make arrangements to have services for my son. The shock and pain of a sudden death of a child is beyond describtion. I contacted Newkirk and spoke with Tiana and explained my situation. She immediately made me feel like I wasn’t alone and would be there to get me through. What she and Newkirk did for me and my family was beyond any kind of expectations we had. Dominic was a Veteran and she made sure he was buried with full Military Honors. They paid attention to all of details about him and even made sure that a Yankee game was on the TV during his service. At the beginning of a crisis as this you’re completely lost mentally and the only way our family made it through was the Courteous and Professionalism displayed by this wonderful group of people at Newkirk and Whitney that serve our community with the Highest Standards.

Everytime i write my opinion about them they treated me like i was uninportant now a friend i asked for help went in there lied he was not asked for document i went in to put things in order they compeletly disregaurded me my family could not belive this was happing all the to thne barial the funneral continued to treat me like nothing may i was wrong color race cause i can not think of any reason to to treat me that way now i have to get a lswyer to fix his death certificate i should make them pay for the expenses i now have come up to fix what they new was not right information but im afriad they will trow it at me or give it to Jojos make belive family then thy will get the law suit

From start to finish, Newkirk and Whitney provided compassionate service. Everything went as was described in our meetings and I could not imagine a smoother process.
