After calling around all of Jersey and getting quotes of $400+ and over a 3 week wait time for service I stumbled onto this company and was extremely thankful for it! Prices were EXTREMELY low in comparison to their competitors AND they were able to get someone out within the hour!I was worried that cheaper price and such quick response time meant they wouldn’t be legit but I was wrong. I had Anthony and Richie as my service technicians and they were amazing. As a first time home owner they took the time to teach me my units and even how to take care of the units to save me from having to spends 100s or 1000s of dollars to replace/maintain it. 5 stars is the highest I could give them but if there were more stars I would rate them even higher. I needed to have my HVAC repaired after flood damage. Richs plumbing were able to come out and do the repairs the day I called. The estimate was more than fair and the installation techs were great. I will definitely use Richs again.

They installed 2 commercial strength steam humidifiers,connecting them directly to our furnaces. Extensive coordinated electrical work was also required. Many other HVAC companies (large companies) could not commit to this job,as they were not familiar or confident enough with these materials. Rich’s plumbing set up each unit to work in either manual or automatic mode. The automatic mode involves placement of multiple sensors in specific areas,including outdoor sensors. Everything works great and their efficiency and professionalism were impressive. I highly recommend this company especially for HVAC work.

AC wasnt blowing cold air. Anthony came out yesterday to diagnose the issue. He was patient, took his time, and accurately diagnosed the issue, all while explaining what was going on. Anthony was incredibly patient with my many questions and was fun to talk with. The service was professional, efficient, and finished promptly. The appointment was the morning after the Hurricane Ida rains and flooding, and they got through all the detours to arrive within an hour of schedule. They were courteous and professional and took time to ensure the installation was right. Id have given them 5 stars except for the scratch in the new water heater from the way they pulled it out of the crate!

I was extremely satisfied with the service from technicians Anthony and Richie I just had to write a review. Both professional, persistent and patient with all my questions. Having one bathroom in the house with a clogged toilet was a very stressful situation. They were here in a few hours and got right to work. Unfortunately they used everything they had on their truck they had to go back to their shop to pickup additional supplies. Needless to say they continued to work and finally cleared the sewer line to the street. They were my lifesavers!! Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

They installed the faucet in a promptly manner. After finishing, they cleaned everything and it took them less than an hour. I highly recommend them.

A toilet seat was removed, the bulks on the bottom of my toilet was very differcult to get loose. Repairman removed the bulks. He was prompt and very courteous. (Update) - I upgraded my rating because the owner reached out to me and we had a nice discussion. I explained to him the issues I was facing. He listened, acknowledged and apologized. Since he has been good enough to call and follow up the least thing I can do is upgrade my rating. We left the conversation on a good note.(Original) had called this company for a gas line install estimate. The technician Joe called me and told me that instead of him coming over I could just send a photo and he could do an estimate. When i sent him the photo he told me he will just install the pipe, it would cost so and so and I would need to give all the cost upfront instead of the standard practice to do some before the permit and some after the permit. I asked him if he would also be willing to do the venting for a gas stove install. He seemed very interested and asked me to send him all details. I did everything and he never returned my call. When I followed up two days later he still did not provide the information. When I left a 1 star rating on Google he immediately called me and requested me to take it down and that he will get back to me before the EOD. Its been about a month and he still has not gotten back. So, I have to share the review here. I did get the gas line run through someone else.

Last Saturday the plumber Carmine came to my apartment as promised and at the expected time.He evaluated the leak in the Jacuzzi pipe line and mixing valve. He agreed to fix the damaged lines and replace the mixing valve on a day convenient to me.This Saturday he came back with the necessary equipment and completed the work. Carmine is friendly, pleasant and professional. He did an excellent job and left the place neat.I have in the past four decades, met many construction personnel and companies, Carmine was notably outstanding. I called this company to get a second opinion. The first company claimed that our evaporating coil was rusted and needed to be scrubbed or replaced to the tune of $1250. Richs examined the coil and assured me that it was fine. I truly appreciated the honesty and integrity of this company. Its true that the coil was rusted, but they explained to me that it doesnt affect its performance. I will definitely call Richs Plumbing again should the need arise. Thanks so much!

Richs plumbing was amazing from start to finish. I called, and within a few hours, Tom Style was at my home. We had previously had another plumbing company come, who was unable to locate the problem, and suggested we purchase a new boiler system. Tom took his time, was deliberate and beyond professional. He spoke with the Manufacturer of the system to get the information he needed to make the repair. To say he was anything less than wonderful would be an insult. He was a gentleman, and was ultimately able to rectify the issue completely. Kudos to Tom and Richs plumbing!!!

They installed a leader for water drainage. They made a sloppy job. Dripping water at every connection and at one connection water is leaking out. It was not done right and they don’t want to take responsibility to fix it or refund their hefty price. Not a good company.

NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE. Called at 9:30pm for emergency service, an hour later had to call back again since nobody called back with time of arrival, at that point I was told someone would call which they did only to tell me they were closed then! I asked to be 1st priority next morning since my whole 2 family house couldnt use any water, they told me 9 or 10 am was the best they could do. 10:30 came around and they called saying they would be 1 hour late, I called back at 1:00pm and was told nobody was available and I asked when someone would be I was told Today... At that point it was clear I could not count on them to help. Wont be using again.

I had to call for service after my husband fell in the tub. It took three tries but when they sent me amazing Joe! Wow he did the job that three (including me)were unable to do! Patient, kind and a great personality. Most of all my shower is working and functional. Thank you so much!

Had an old pool heater that needed replacement. Our pool contractor swapped out the heater but the gas line needed to be reconfigured for it to be hooked up. Called Richs Plumbing and within a week they were able to come look at the situation and give me a quote. They were also able to make the repair the same day. Price was reasonable. The crew did a great job testing the equipment and taking their time to rule out all of the possible causes for the problem. They were fair with the cost to repair as the item being replaced was still under warranty.

We just had Justin from Rich’s Plumbing install a new gas water heater in our home. He previously estimated that the job would take about 2 hours. He arrived on time and installed the water heater in 2 hours. He’s very efficient and knowledgeable and always courteous. He answered all of our questions and left us with all of the manufacturer’s manuals. He did a great job! We wouldn’t hesitate to contact Rich’s Plumbing again for all of our plumbing, heating and air-conditioning needs.

We had a sewer main line clog yesterday, which is a nightmare as you cannot use any water in your house. We called Richs Plumbing and within 2 hours the tech (Joe) was at our house. Roto Rooter had been here earlier in the day and could not remove the clog... Joe had it unclogged within 15 minutes. I was shocked. Joe was fantastically professional and polite, we could not be any happier with the service we received. Plus, they were cheaper than Roto Rooter.There are a lot of positive reviews for this company, believe them. This company was great right from the initial phone call.I will definitely use them in the future and will not hesitate at all to pass their information to anyone that I know is looking for a plumber.Thanks guys!

Initially, I was pleased, but I must completely revise my review and hope that it saves someone from a similar fate. This company agreed to apply a +2K previous payment towards a future job and then reneged, even requesting an additional $2K deposit towards the completion of a $2600. job at the same address. Highly disappointed and will not recommend in the future.

Free Estimate and quick appointment. Asked them to call once they reach home. Technician came and about to leave without calling. My home sensor messaged me. Communication with the Technician was very straight forward and no polite/smiling. Not very rough but not polite either. Doesnt have patience and felt like he was in a hurry. Got the estimate and asked them to do the work immediately. Estimate is decent with 10% up and down comparing others. Very good in explaining but again not friendly/professional tone. He knows what he was doing and right to the core work, in and out in 10-15 mins. Great Technician but would have been better with some nice talking than aggressive. Would have been 5 star with little smile and patience.

I had an outdoor spicket that was leaking and a shutoff valve on the inside that wouldn’t turn off. I called Rich’s plumbing and they were here within 2 hours. George was very nice,friendly,and very professional. I got a brand new spicket and shutoff valve with the handle,no more dial to turn. The pricing is very reasonable over other plumbers out there. I will be calling them back shortly to replace my kitchen faucet.

Anthony and Rich were VERY polite, friendly and professional. They did an amazing job and did not quit even though the job was a real challenge and a real pain. After several attempts of snaking and still not unclogging we thought that the issue was with the main sewer line so we contacted American Water (Liberty) and they sent out a few technicians to see the issue. Anthony and Rich waited for them to arrive and stood there the entire time to see if it was in fact an issue with the main line. To our surprise the main line wasn’t the issue so Anthony and Rich went back it again. They eventually resolved the issue and solved my problem. Very grateful I had them as the ones servicing my plumbing issue. I’m hoping to not have any issue again but if I do, I want Anthony and Rich to be the ones who come and do the job. They should get a raise, they definitely deserve it and the company is fortunate to have employees like them.

I had a horrible emergency plumbing situation this morning-sewage coming back up my pipes into my basement bathroom. I got a recommendation from someone, googled their info, and called in panic mode. The lady on the other end said someone would be there asap and Carmine was here like an hour later! Ive had emergency plumbing before and other companies have made me wait until it actually got worse and cost me more. Carmine quickly diagnosed the problem and immediately grabbed his tools and got to work. He was great- worked quickly and had a great overall attitude, made me feel comfortable about an awkward situation...lol I mean it was gross. Thankfully he was so detailed and he even explained the problem, how to prevent it, warning signs, etc-very professional and will be using Richs plumbing again!🙂

We had a MAJOR problem with our furnace (gas fired furnace/hot water base board heat). The spicket on the side of the furnace was leaking all the water out of the pipes and we had no heat. To say that the drained furnace water created a mess is an understatement and it was so cold outside! Rich and Anthony arrived and explained they had never seen that happen before. Nick and Rich showed up and explained what they were going to do to fix the problem of my sewer main backing up at the outside clean out. They explained costs and the process which they took to eliminate any extra expenses. They were respectful and hard working. I will definitely use them again and ask for the same crew. The problem was out in the street and nothing could be done on their end, however we were able to get the town to come and jet the sewer main and richs crew stayed and worked with the city to identify the break inbthe street. They were outside working for 5 hrs straight in 40 degrees weather. Great team work and im very happy with the work they did for me.

Absolutely Amazing! We called late on a Friday night when our AC was not blowing cold air. They understandably had a very busy schedule and gave us a service window of 10AM - 12PM the next morning. Our technician, Luis, was at our door at 8AM and had us up and running in 15 minutes. He was very respectful of the times and had a mask on the entire time. He offered extra services and let us know pricing before he did anything. They were able to process a payment in our driveway. I would HIGHLY recommend them if you are in need of service.

Update 9/24/20This response from the owner cannot be far from truth. Yes price is a relative thing and I did not make that up. It was my perception of value for poor quality of work and experience. The rest of review stands as is. I did not mention in my original review that the individual used curse language multiple times while working at our home.We hired them to install fridge waterline and will not recommend them to anyone. Extremely rude installer that shoved, pushed and roughly handle appliances and got frustrated that appliances when getting stuck in floor. Please stay away. Not to mention super expensive.

Collected 5 estimates for sewage bin lid replacement. Rich was the first who responded and his estimated was reasonable and less expensive than others. It was easy to schedule the job which has been nicely done.One happy customer !

Richs plumbing has great value and truly care about the guest. Extremely honest with work needed and price. Justin made sure he conducted all the test on the compressor and double checked with his boss just to make sure. He even came back because I wasnt sure about something and explained everything again. This company and Justin are my go to company from here on out.

One of his trucks today at roughly 10:30am cut me off on the parkway to get in line for the exit (145), and even after I held the horn they continued to proceed to almost hit my suv, to which point I had to slam on my brakes to avoid the collision. Maybe next time they actually hit somebody and the victims can use this review to show intent in their battle of legal recourse. Plate XHHG3, I’ll leave off the last digit to avoid the review being taken down, I will monitor this and repost it if necessary.

My central air conditioning stopped working and I hurriedly try to find someone who could come and do a immediate repair. I called Rich’s plumbing and they were able to send someone out the very next morning to take care of the issue. Before their employee arrived I got a phone call from their office letting me know the name of the person that would be doing the repair and the time that he would be showing up. Daniel showed up on time and was so professional and explained everything that was wrong with my unit. He had to go back to the warehouse to pick up some supplies but return shortly there after and fix my the unit. My house is cooling down as I am writing this review. I am completely and totally satisfied with the workmanship, the professionalism and overall experience I have had today working with Dan. I would highly recommend the company as well as their excellent employee Dan.

My experience with George from Richs Plumbing was better than I ever expected. He arrived on time and had to tackle a few tasks that we needed remediated. One of them turned out to be much harder than originally thought. George was dogged and wouldnt give up until it was fully fixed. Called Richs Air Heating and Air condition since my unit wasnt discharging cold air. Within an hour they sent Daniel who did a quick diagnosis and replace ONLY the required parts. I paid $201.52 for them to drain my boiler with 1 bucket of water. My valve was working when the drain the 1 bucket of water then magical my valve is now broke first it was clod Then the valve broke. No one touch that valve just the plumber and now he cant do his job unless he replace the broken valve.. I knew it was going to be some bull when he start say I need this done and that done.

Rich’s plumbing is always so responsive and very nice. I’ve used them two times now and both times they were able to come right away. Carmine was very professional and lovey to chat with while he was making the repair. This is an honest, and trustworthy company. I won’t go with anyone else but these guys!

Justin worked like a neurosurgeon - he was focussed, did not give up until he reviewed every detail and assessed the overall issue. Awesome! Few hiccups in the beginning but I am an REO Broker and I use them all the time. Their paperwork is flawless and fast. Prices are competitive and reasonable.

My old water heater stopped making hot water and also started leaking. I looked online for a plumber that installs and repairs tankless water heaters. I left my name and number with a few local plumbers to call me the next day. And Rich’s plumbing called me first thing the next morning and they were willing to see me right away. My old water heater had two problems and I couldn’t justify putting money into such an old heater. Rich’s plumbing ordered a new unit and installed it today. They also installed valves to flush it out when the need arises. I am really happy to have hot water again. Also the main office calls you about a half hour before they arrive. And they remove all of the parts and old unit.

Louise and his helper were fantastic! We had another Plumber/HVAC company come in to evaluate aprox 4 weeks ago-and they wanted to replace not only the machine causing the issue with our upstairs air temp (too warm-not holding the temp setting) but BOTH air conditioners! We decided to call Ralph’s and Louis came in with his helper who was a very well spoken professional person-same day-they evaluated the problem, assured me that they would be able to replace one motor and clean the condenser on one machine and get it up and running again. They were honest, professional and so knowledgeable! Never expected them to show up immediately within 2 hours for a regular problem. But they did and did a very good job in repairing the shower and toilet. Will surely use them again.

This company was awesome. They were on time and very friendly. I needed an estimate on some work that I thought I needed completed, but Rich eased my mind and left some money in my pocket because nothing was wrong! He could have easily lied and said something was wrong when in fact nothing was wrong at all. Honesty is always the best policy and if I ever need anything I will use this company!
