I took my mildly cammed T56 LS truck to Hawks and cried to Tia about the problems from the previous tuner. She told me they had a perfectionist master tuner by the name of Jason Dillard who races a similar drivetrain weekly! Jason took an interest in my objectives, and delivered the perfect tune for me. Whether you want a tune for cruising; towing; mileage; street tune or all out full throttle racing, Hawks is the only choice. I wish I had a reason to go see Tia and Jason again, but my tune is perfect! I will only go to Hawks Performance for my tuning needs, and i will insist on Jason Dillards tunes for all my ECMs!

Hands down the BEST motorsports place around! I walked in inquiring about having work done to my Vette, and the owner, Bruce, spent time to give me a guided tour. Extremely clean and organized in Every aspect. I decided to use his establishment and cant speak more positively about it! From Tia, who initially helped me decide what to incorporate into the car, to Dale, who followed up with ensuring the parts and work were scheduled, to my mechanic, Ryan, who expediently did the mechanics and saved me man hours on the labor due to his technical knowledge and experience, and lastly, Jason the tuner, who tuned the care perfectly to what I desired for the cars application.The whole time my girl and I were there we were made to feel like part of the team. They never treated us condescendingly or were made to feel rushed. And I have NEVER had any establishment get back to me after 5 to either answer my questions or ask how I liked the drive home in the final product! Trust in my words when I say you wont find a better place to bring muscle cars! OhhhRah!

If I could give zero stars I would! Called about having a restoration done on my 87 Camaro. Was told they’d call me back in a week. After over a week and no call I called back and they said they were still getting parts prices and would call me back. Two weeks and no response. Can’t believe they turned away my businesses. They obviously don’t care. Take your business elsewhere or be prepared to be played like a fool. They sell “new” parts that are used that they’ve just cleaned up as well.

Fantastic Customer Service Reps. I dropped off a computer for my 1990 Chevy C1500 pickup truck. Three days later they added a chip that was piggybacked onto my ECM. Were gonna try it to see if Ill get my Fuel Economy up. I use to get 16.5 mpg until 2005 it dropped to 13 mpg.I cant say enough nice about the people I enter acted with. Very polite, kind, willing to answer questions. Id encourage anyone to do business with these folks. Youll be happy you did just like I did.
I called four times to place an order and spent over 49 minutes waiting on hold. The first call someone picked up and then hung up and the second call I was forwarded to voicemail after waiting 15 minutes on hold. The last two calls were never answered. I will find another place to buy parts for my two f-bodies .
Great people, went above and beyond my expectations
I have tried giving them my business and hard earned money several times now. Their sales team is the worst I have ever delt with. I gave them a list of parts and asked them to give me a few other recommended options. I tried calling them several times during the week only to get voicemails and hangups. 1+ week later and I finally get someone on the phone. The other salesman, theres only two, says hell look into it and promises to call back, just like the first guy. Still no call.It must be nice to have a business that doesnt think twice about throwing away $5,000+ in sales!I will be spending my money elsewhere. I advise anyone reading this to do the same.
Last November I ordered a 305TBI engine for my 89 Camaro online and within a day they called me with questions to make sure I get the right one for my car. Soon after, they called me back with options and I chose one out of a 91 Firebird with only 51,000 miles on it. He said it is still in the car & runs fine. Within 2 weeks they shipped it. My mechanic had no trouble replacing my engine and it runs great. They even threw in an alternator and gave me a $200 break on the online shipping quote Total cost was only around $900. $550 for the engine and the rest was for crating shipping and labor. They used ABF and it arrived in original condition.Thanks to everyone at Hawks Motorsports!

Customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!! I understand when you specialize in something as these guys do that there is a demand for your product so no matter what these reviews say people will still call. I typically do not write reviews because I am in the automotive business myself but there has only been one time on the phone that anyone has been of a help and it was a woman, wish I remembered her name but she should take the phone because the males who have answered the phones are know it all individuals that belittle the customer. Also their follow up is awful. I called on separate occasions and gave some information on a part I was looking for while being told we will call you back. Days go by, no call back. I call back and no one knows anything about my situation. Again, I am in the business so I get things are forgotten and or mis-placed but you would think after the 3rd time I had to call back they would care enough to reach out first not have me reaching back out to give them business?? I know people will still call because leading up this I was told these guys are the guys when youre in search of parts that are discontinued and or hard to come by but be aware in my experience the way this place is operated from a customer service standing is awful. Good luck though to you and your future customers I will not be one of them! Just humble yourself and use human kindness, there is not enough of it in the world and the guys answering these phones should not be, knowledgeable or not, welcome people that are calling and thank them for calling while giving YOUR business an opportunity at their business. But if you guys have so much business you can just be rude to people who call more power to ya, doubt youll win in the long run but hey, good luck!!!!
We have shopped from Hawks for over five years, if you want quality then your going to pay for it. 99% of everything ordered is great but somethings need some help because it’s an old car. When we finally decided to LS swap our 3rd gen our local option failed so instead we drove the car 612 miles to Hawks. Warm reception, amazing facility and very knowledgeable people. We had a list of must haves. Hawks did not say write a check for your must haves. Hawks questioned every single must have and discussed them with approval or offered better options(plus they did not try to up sell us on anything). Hawks gave us back a 600+rwhp 3rd gen we have put over 3500+ miles on with no issues.

I made a ebay purchase and they haven’t shipped it and its been over a week. messaged them over 3 times on ebay and have tried calling them over 10 times. the worst customer service ive ever delt with ever !!!!!
BUYER BEWARE. They do not stock product even if there ebay store says they do, I ordered a set of Texas Speed Headers with O/R Y Pipe. I ordered from them because Texas Speed said it would be May before they had Y pipes back in stock. looking at Hawks Ebay store it says they have 5 remaining. Witch they do not stock so I would be waiting till May to receive them. I tried calling to talk to someone they will never call you back. I called 3 times and left 3 voicemails for Steve the Ebay sales guy and no return call. I sent a message through Ebay and he finally responded. I brought up my frustration since he still refused to answer the phone or call back and his response was No worries Greg, we will just get the order cancelled for you since we are so deceitful. Well Steve ill spend my money with people that want it and people that can communicate with their customers like and adult . Looking at other google reviews and their reputation on LS!Tech this seems to be the norm for them. Ultimately this is my fault I should have done more research before buying I hope this helps you to not experience the same frustrations I have

I have a 5thgen camaro and was in need of a power steering pump pulley and gm no longer makes them (discontinued ). Did a little Browsing and found hawks Motorsports they make an awesome replacement pulley and it’s the same as factory specs . I called and placed my order on Tuesday and just got it today Friday .fast shipping! Awesome product thanks guys

Ordered a spohn drag style rear anti-roll swaybar kit on june 13th and never received any shipping information from them. Sent multiple emails and even called steve several times and never got a reply. Took 7 weeks to get a refund after I canceled my order... horrible customer service!! Wouldnt buy as much as a bolt from this company again! Said over 10 in stock, but then said they had to order from manufacturer.... BAD BUSINESS ETHICS!!!

Then even after they know they did you wrong and admit it, still wont attempt to make it right. NEVER EVER TRUST THEM !! If you dont touch it or see it in person you can not rely on there honesty. Please beware, As I have read on BBB complaint site I too ordered an item that was listed as NEW on their Ebay listing site. It was a Holley Sniper Kit model 550-516D It was NOT reduced in price from what I could get it directly from Holley company themselves for $1600.00. Other complaints say they received USED items instead of NEW as promised.When the box arrived it appeared immediately to have been opened prior and resealed. The deeper I got into the box it was obvious that I received a $1600.00 used part ( previously purchased and owned by a 1st party) the wrapping was wrong and the ECU panel was not only scratched but had grease on it.When I asked for a return label to ship it back Hawks Motorsports immediately side stepped the complaint saying it was Holleys fault and needed pics to verify. I sent pics back over 1 week ago and have now waited weeks for a part I shouldve bought directly for the same price from Holley. My son and I cant drive this car now for Fathers day as planned for camping.

Biggest joke of a shop in SC!!!! Ive dealt with them twice and never again!! Just like the first time, they wasted my time again! I took a computer up there after calling and asking them if they can check it and they guaranteed they could. 2 days after they were going to call, I decided Id check just in case they forgot. Some lady answers to tell me they cant check it unless a car is there(really didnt surprise me). Instead of apologizing she said the girl didnt know. I dont blame her, I blame whoever is in charge due to the lack of customer respect taking this is twice in a row done
Emailed Kyle about my 96 Z28 and needing help with the tune, It did take 2 days to get a response BUT He called me and we talked about the issues Im having with the car. I offered to bring the car to him to do a tune and he said that we could set that up but to check a few things first, which tells me he doesnt want to waste my time and money if its something I could trouble shoot on my own. VERY helpful! on a side note, checked my email this morning and he also emailed me about our conversation. THANKS!

I NEVER SHOULD HAVE WASTED MY TIME!!! Ive spent the last seven months looking for an engine, I went on three hour+ roads trips to go look at engines and be disappointed. I got fed up of people trying to scam me so I decided to call Hawks. Within fifteen minutes I got a hold of Bruce in sales and they found numerous choices for me to pick from. They even went the extra mile and got me the casting number and the engine suffix code! These guys are freaking awesome! My first experience with Hawks was a great one! Purchased a 2002 Trans Am WS6 and still couldnt be happier. I work the same hours as they do yet they accomodated me by meeting up on a Saturday, gave me ample time to look everything over and point out all known issues they knew about. They werent pushy or rude in anyway shape or form and I have since been back in contact with Bruce a number of times. Hes always very quick to respond to my emails and even called me to talk about their stage 2 perfomance package I will be getting done very soon. Attentive, personable and friendly staff as well. Ordered a harness I needed for my Camaro. They stayed in touch while waiting on my order. Got the product and it was clean and in great condition. I couldn’t be more satisfied and I definitely plan to do more business with Hawks In The future.Edit: so it turns out that the harness I ordered was for a trans am and not a Camaro. Tried to reach out but nothing ever happened. I’m still giving four stars because the harness got my car running but am disappointed that my headlights don’t work my foglight switch is in the wrong place and I need to change the door harnesses again because the ones the sent me won’t work with my plugs on my doors for power mirrors. I take some responsibility because I should have checked it more over instead of just assuming it was correct.
I couldnt get any of the speed shops in Orlando Fl to answer their phones. Called hawks - 10 minutes later my part is on its way. It will be here tomorrow morning. PLUS, I didnt have to leave the house! These guys are awsome.

I havent purchased anything from Hawks...yet. Not because I havent tried but because I cant get them to return voicemails (left 2 so far) and emails. I understand that at the time they had a fire in the building they use to pull parts, but your customers pay the bills and you have to be responsive to customer needs. I hope insurance covered your losses.

Orders an xenon hid conversion kit which states headlights and fog lights for around 200 dollars. Opened the box right now and no fog lights. Not half the lights advertised in the picture wow. First time leaving a review for any body.

Ordered a part through eBay and was sent an incorrect item. When I got back with them to try and resolve the issue I was lied to, and they wouldnt even admit they were wrong when I presented them with facts. They tried to charge me a restocking fee and shipping for their mistake. I will never deal with this company again.
I wanted a refund for a part the wasnt shipped. Then they told me it was shipped after I told them I wanted a refund. Took them over two days to get a tracking number form them. When i checked the tracking number nothing showed up. My next step is filing fraud claim aginst them. They do bad business, youve been warned.
