Matt came out first to diagnose what was wrong with my dishwasher. He called before he came out. He told me needed new parts and would call when they arrived. I got a call the following week, they setup an appointment . The part was installed. Matt ran a test cycle to make sure everything was okay and there were no leaks. Matt was extremely professional and I will definitely use Codys in the future, if needed.

I called the night before to have my dryer repaired. They had someone who could meet me the next morning, Saturday, at 9:00. I mentioned that I had to leave by 10:30. The repair tech called the night before and said he could be there a bit before 9. Showed up at 8:50 and started into the dryer. Replaced the parts that needed it and out the door by 10:20 with a 3-year warranty. I couldnt ask for better service, care and communication. They are saved in my contact list for future repairs and recommendations.

My service guy was Kyle. He was professional and thorough and was able to fix my 15 year old washer. I also had him take a look at my dryer because it was streaking my clothes. He figured out the problem and was able to explain it and show me! As my machines are older I will probably replace them soon, but he gave me a little more time to research and figure out what I want. I would call them again.

We called Cody‘s to have service done on our dryer. Ben arrived on time, called before he was on his way to give me plenty of notice, and it was a delight to have work on our appliances in our home. Saved us from a huge fire hazard! — Had our dryer break down and scheduled an appointment that was a bit further out than we hoped, but they added us to standby and two days later they came to fix it. Adam C. was incredibly knowledgeable and filled me in on everything he was doing. Especially during Covid circumstance, he did everything to keep my household safe and comfortable. Not a great experience for me. They gave me a higher quote than the appliance repair company that I ended up using for the repair. The company I used did a great job for quite a bit less.Codys offered a free dryer vent check while they were here. They told me me the dryer vent was in need of cleaning. They recommended I call Dryer Vent Wizard. I used a different company instead, When they checked it, they said it did not need cleaning and left without charging me. Dryer Vent Wizard charges at least $39 just to show up and then wont give you any idea how much the bill will be until they see it. Why does Codys offer a dryer vent check and then recommend calling Dryer Vent Wizard even when its not needed at all?

$150 gas dryer install did not go as well as hoped. When project completed, dryer was away from the wall 10-12 into a very narrow room. Tech was courteous and tried, but indicated there was nothing that could be done. I wasnt pleased that all trash/debris was left behind when finished. Vendors shop mgmr returned my follow-up call. His message was courteous but indicated there was nothing they could do. I spent another $65 with another vendor who started the job over and now the dryer is 7 from wall. One very positive comment for Codys is for the person scheduling the service and addressing pre and post-service concerns: professional, knowledgeable, and kind.

Rarely give 5 star reviews. But these guys did a great job fixing our clothes washer. Prices were reasonable (and we are not rich). Its been 4 months since they came over and washer still running perfectly! They even looked at our dryer whose sensor was off and they cleaned it with no extra charge. Sooo many other workers (for other jobs) locally that weve had issues with ... so I need to give kudos to where kudos are due.

While my washer would have cost more to fix than buy a new one because of the huge part cost, their prompt and thorough service won me over. Another company couldnt get to me to even LOOK at our washer for two days and then another week for parts and fixing, but Codys came out right away (literally 10 minutes after I called😲) while having a broken washer is never fun, they eased the stress as much as possible. Unfortunately we just ended up getting a new washer, but will call Codys when that one needs servicing.

Impressed with this place up until the point I was quoted for the price of the repair. I had a broken defrost timer and looking at the part on Amazon it runs about $7. Codys website claims that they charge a rate of $89 for a service call, but they also say they waive if the repair is done at the home. Which I can understand since they dont want to be taken advantage of by giving a diagnosis and then turning away the service.Anyway, my quote for the repair, which took less than an hour mind you, was $192. I get the receipt and there is no breakdown for that price. I told the tech at the time that it seemed high and that I thought the $89 charged was waived according to the website. He claimed that it was baked into the price quote and that you have to pay it either way. That certainly isnt the way the website reads. So assuming that I had to pay that regardless, that still leaves $100 for the part and labor. For the job and the part, $100 seems reasonable for a total, but not $192. I dont think its right I was charged $89 just for them to come out to the home. Crazy. Probably wont use them in the future as a result.

I was extremely pleased with the quality of the service I received with regard to our gas fireplace. The purpose of the visit was primarily to ensure that everything was in working order. But, the technician, Gabriel, went beyond that by helping me to better understand its components and explaining to me how to better operate the fireplace. Was able to schedule an appointment roughly 24 hours from the call. The repairman showed up on time and was pleasant and interested in helping. The oven pilot light was fixed promptly and continues to work. The technician worked diligently to diagnose an issue with our refrigerator water dispenser and discovered the problem was related to a plumbing issue, outside the purview of appliance repair. Even though Codys couldnt help with this repair, they called the plumber for me and made arrangements to have the issue resolved the next day. Truly invested in exceptional customer service.

My technician, Adam Clark, was nothing but the best. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He got my dryer totally fixed in less than an hour and Im so glad I got him. Codys does an amazing job, and Ill definitely use them again.
