I gave them a challenge to alter a fabric motorcycle touring jacket and couldnt have been happier with the quality of the result. Maybe luckily, I happened to deal with the Nice Lady, not the Rude Crabby Man.
The gentleman in this shop is very rude. And thqt might end up making customers not to want service from then. This was my 3rd time coming back to this strore nd the man that helped me was very rude..hes customer service was so unprofessional. He didnt want to be questioned about the price he was charging me all he said was well i wont do it just take your things and go mind yu all i needed him to fix were couple of zips that had.come loose something simple why simple bcoz first time i came there there was a lady and she actually was nice nd helped me so i figure id receive the same treatment again 2nd time nope but 2nd time was more of last minute repair so i didnt expect much but 3rd! No he was rude very very rude. Be caution when yu go there.
I brought in some shorts with a tie string in to have the elastic in the waste band replaced. When I picked them up, I found that they did replaced the elastic but I didn’t notice they didn’t put the string back in until I got home. I called and explained what had to be done and that I need them done now. So I went back and brought them in and she opened where the holes for the string originally was and pulls out the elastic to make the waste tighter which didn’t work. She did not want to listen to anything that I was saying or wanting. I told her one more time and she finally listened. She put the string back in but with a huge attitude, then when she got done putting the string through all the way she throws my shorts down onto the counter and walked away with a major attitude, when I was asking her for a refund because they didn’t do right the first time. I had to drive back there and take time out of my day that I didn’t have much of to get them fixed right. She never turned around. They lost a customer that had gone there and recommended them for the past 13 years.
Im very happy with their work. I came in to have three dress pants hemmed/tapered, and the process couldnt have been more smoother. Its like going in to a new barber. You walk in nervous and wondering how it may look in the end, but by the time everything is finished and you check it out in the mirror, you feel like you can really trust in their service and quality.Thats exactly how i felt about Vics Alterations. I asked for a certain look and they delivered with exceptional quality. The hems were very even, with clean lines and they tapered the pants to fit perfectly. Also, they completed two of the three pants well within the scheduled delivery date (even with New Years Eve just around the corner).Im very pleased with the results and Ill defiantly be returning with more items.Thank you, Vic!
This was my first experience with Vics and I was very pleased with the results! I took 3 pairs of jeans in to be taken in at the waist - they turned out so good & fit exactly how I wanted them to. Also, I was nervous about how long it would take after looking at some other reviews, however my alterations ended up being done two days early! Overall, super great experience and I will definitely go to Vics again. I highly suggest this business for pant alterations.
I am so upset! This is the WORST alteration! I would not recommend to any one! I brought my wedding dress there to get altered, the top of my dress was big on me so they told me they will fix it. They told me it will take them 3 months to fix the dress, when 3 months passed they told me they need more time. When I came in to try the dress again the top was still the same, even tho Vic (manager of that place) told me they fixed it. They ruined the front of my dress that I had to go another palace to get it fixed. They do not do professional job at all. When I talked to Vic how he can fix the dress he told me it looks good on you dont worry, your future husband wont even notice how you look on your wedding day! Seriously!!! I would not recommend this place to no one, do not bring your dresses there you will be very disappointed. Very upset!!
Ive used Vics Alterations for nearly five years. From simple hems to sophisticated redesigns, theyve handled everything Ive ever brought them. Fair prices and they always have my clothes ready when they promise.
Went to get a bridesmaid dress altered, got it back the lady threw the dress and sent me on my way, no “would you like to try it on” just “here’s your dress bye.” Tried it on at home, too tight and they sewed the entire straps into the side of the dress. When we called the place to see if she will fix it we were told we will be charged for the fix.
I brought a prom dress into this store to be hemmed and have straps added. I was told I would have to wait a full month before picking it up(the week of the dance) because they were very busy. When the day finally came I received a call saying they would need two more days to complete my dress. The finial product was far less than a month and two days worth. Straps were too thin and too long. Dress was too short and very bunchy. The whole thing looked rushed and like they started and finished it in the two days after they called. Wish I would have went somewhere else.
I doped off my pants and ask the Asian lady what time they will cloth on friday she said 6pm. Came back on Friday at 5:35 pm it was closed. I had to fly to LA for a wedding with out my new suit. I dont know about you but me I aint coming back to this place.
Used Vics several times. Good service and quality work.
I am taking this time to tell you I was very unhappy with the service I received from Vic, the store owner. Being a returning customer for about 1 year, I was given no appreciation for service when faulty came on their part.Trying to plan ahead- I brought my dress in to be altered 6 week in advance. Vic took my alterations on my bridesmaid dress- while 5 weeks later and 2 days before I had scheduled to pick it up, a seamstress called me telling me I had to come in to be measured again because the store owner never pinned it. Living more than 10 miles away, this is HUGE inconvenience and unprofessional- not to mention way over priced! (Friends paying $40-60 for alterations, at Vics I paid $125!!!) Molly, the seamstress tried to make excuses that they accepted other dresses that were last minute and needed to get done before mine. After expressing my disappointment, especially after arriving a different day to pick up my jeans that were hemmed- Vic did not open the store for 15 minutes after open time....He did not offer anything as an apology for horrible customer service, did not apologize, and laughed it off.I am going to let everyone I know and the online community know how horrible this business is and how there is no appreciation for customers. I will not be returning.
