I’ve been going to Unique Nails for several years and they have been nothing short of amazing. Wonderful staff who care for and respect their clientele; they are a hidden gem in Durham! Thank you for making me feel welcome each time I visit and for always providing quality service.

I came in today for a pedicure and to get gel polish on my nails. I come into this shop once a month to get the same exact service.The service for my pedicure was worse than usual. Both of my big toe nails were cut too low, and the employee worked to make it better by adding acrylic.I’ve never had acrylic on my toes and I am uncomfortable with this resolution. I also had to wait for 20 minutes while the employee went to work on another customer who had just come into the shop. I was in the shop for an hr more than I usually am to get service and my toes looks terrible. The gel polish paint job is bad, my toe nails are way different from one another, and my toe nails are lopsided.I paid full price and asked for a discount for all of this trouble. That was not honored, and I don’t believe I can return to this shop without this situation being rectified.I am highly dissatisfied and disappointed in the service I received today.

I started going here a few months ago and am now a solid customer! I go every 2-3 weeks and see Jenny. She is just the best and very sweet!! I usually get my nails done and eyebrows. They always wear masks and you are required to wear one as well. They have plexiglass protectors at each station and inbetween the chairs as well. Highly recommend!

I went for a dip in my nails. The technician Jhon was very professional, quick and really aim for what I ask for, the color and shape of nails where perfect, I really like them.The salon was clean, very nice and relaxing environment. Definitely will be coming back!

I always go and see Tammy.... She is amazing, friendly and makes me laugh..... I always wait if I cant see her as it has taken me forever to find the right person.... There is a young man that wears glasses that does my pedicures if Tammy is finishing up with someone else. He is also nice and makes me laugh but I have unfortunately forgotten his name...I highly recommend this place....

I am very dissatisfied with the waxing services at this salon. At the start of my eyebrow appointment I specifically told my tech just to clean my natural brow, not to thin it at all, and not to create a shape. She did the exact opposite and instead of owning up to this she debated with me. I usually don’t leave google reviews, but this service has left me with an issue that will last for several months or until my eyebrows grow back to their natural thickness. I would not recommend using this service. I only gave this salon two stars because my pedicure service was Okay.

Very pleasant experience. She did an awesome job on my nails. This is only my 3rd time going but will definitely go back. I was in a boot and on crutches and the nail tech was very accommodating and helpful. I am recommending them to friends and family.

I’m always satisfied with my experience and my expectations are very well met at Uniqe Nail Salon. The technicians are very professional and great in what they are doing. The environment is very conducive, neat and well organized.

This is my third bad encounter with Jenny. The first was when I was told by a guy to come in because she was ready and I sat there for 45 minutes. The second was when she told me to come one day at 3:00 and I came at 3:07. She said she couldn’t get me because I came 10 minutes late and she sat someone else down but that person was well into their pedicure so they had obviously been there for some time not because I was late. Today I called and she told me to come in at 5. I came a little early and she stated I didn’t call and she don’t know what I was talking about so I left. The service is very messy and bad for business.

They always do a great job with my nails and toes. So far I had three different nail techs do my nails. All did a great job and gave me exactly what I wanted. They are also big on cleaning which is great.

I went on a busy day and was totally unhappy with my service. It felt very rushed and I received an incomplete pedicure. The polish looked awesome, however, my cuticles were left untouched (which he tried to conceal with a ton of oil), a callus remover was used without anything behind it to smooth the skin afterwards (such as a pumice stone) which left my feet feeling very rough, and there was no actual massaging of my feet (just light scratching all over). I tried to communicate with my service provider several times to let him know i wasnt satisfied before the service was over, to which he just nodded and started speaking to his coworker in another language. Very frustrating and highly disappointed in the lack of customer service, especially for a $47 pedicure. I will not be returning.

I had Sammy do my nails. She was awesome!! I am here visiting from PA & didn’t have time to get my nails done before I left. Wait time as a walk-in was about 10 seconds!! I love my nails & if we move to this area, Sammy will be my new nail tech!! 🤞

Always get what I ask for... just seems to vary in price from visit to visit... today I had a very mannerly young man do a great job on my toes tho!!

I have been going to Unique Nail now for some time, I always return because they do good work. I recently met the tech Jacob and I hope he stays because I absolutely love not only his work but hes kind,engaging and attentive and that means alot to me!

They are always professional and do a really good job. They are always on time and the quality of work is excellent.

This place is clean, technicians were friendly and took their time. Pedicure was excellent (paid same price at another place for a basic pedicure as I did for the luxury pedicure here and got way more extras and time spent on legs, massage, scrub, etc.). Use inserts in tubs which always make me feel better. Nice hand massage with manicure. Would definitely go back.

From the moment I entered they took my temperature. They have gone above and beyond in maintaining CDC recommendations and Tammy is sooooo amazing!!!! She is extremely attentive and her personality is warm. She is highly skilled and provides personalized recommendations. The entire staff was welcoming and the environment is truly relaxing. I highly recommend them.

This nail salon provides great service. I have not had any issues with the quality of work from the nail technicians. They have great display of gel nail polish color options and its organized. 😃 They are a bit pricey but youre paying for the quality of service, which is great. There is little to no wait time, even with a crowd. They will have you in and out with your nails looking nice.I would definitely refer their services to people

Name is actually Tiana Mayo but! They give the most wonderful pedicure ever!! I love how they work with their hands, she surely made sure she got my foot relaxed and it was such a icy hot sensation. They take their time making sure to understand costumers and make sure costumers understand them. And may I say their massage chairs are EVERYTHING ! Best one I’ve been too so far.

Very pleased. The nail tecs took their time even though it was very busy. They are pretty on time with appts.

My husband & I came for full service - pedi, mani & eyebrow for me. We barely made it through our pedicures without wanting to leave! Both our techs seemed uninterested, distracted & careless. They constantly talked to each other & never addressed us...almost as if we werent even there. When they finished our pedis both techs simply walked away..nothing further...one showed back up when I stood at the register and simply said 90. I paid. No thank you, no have a nice day...just walked away...very rude & unprofessional. It was almost as if it was an inconvenience for them to service us. No worries..we will never return!

Ive never had a problem with Unique Nails. Always greeted with a smile and speaking in a good tone.Ive been going to them since 2000. No one else does my nails.

I have utilized this place on multiple occasions and have always overlooked the rude customer service for the purpose of convenience. Every time, I watch the lady who has the work station closest to the front door not greet customers and not speak when spoken to directly. The last time was the final straw when I attempted to sign in and was yelled at by her and a male colleague at the same time for touching the iPad before I was prompted to wash my hands. In addition, I made an appointment in advanced and was still waiting to be seated 16 minutes after my appt scheduled time. The quality of work isnt worth the bad energy/unprofessionalism towards paying customers!

Everytime i come get my nails done with the coffin shape, the shape starts to get dull within a week of having them . The second week of having them before a fill in, all of my nails started to lift . Theyre not suppose to lift AT ALL . Idk if its the application or the acrylic itself but i think i will start going somewhere else .

They were very professional. Do great quality work. I love both the people who did my nails. The only thing i would recommend is brushing up on designs.

I love coming into Unique Nails - often times I am on the go and don’t have time to make an appointment but they always find a way to fit me in and do a great job at that! Eric is my goto for dip nails, but they are all great with nails & pedicures.

This was my first time ever having a pedicure. My niece, Ashley was gracious enough to pay for my visit. I was very impressed in the experience from start to finish. I believe we got Deluxe package. Eric gave me a new complete gel set with shellac and as usual did a beautiful job.Do not have name (but it was Michael’s brother) that gave me an out of this world pedicure!

Pretty disappointed with my gel manicure i got yesterday. Edges were missed, polish is sloppy, and it feels very tacky. Wish i didnt waste $35 on this mess. Also, they charged my friend $37 for a full acrylic set with gel, only $2 more than what i paid to get gel put on my natural nails. Wish i could get a refund on this nonsense. 😐
