I went in for an appointment, not really sure if I would be finding the perfect dress or not. Keller was my stylist, and was awesome from the very beginning. She helped us find dresses, and was more than happy to pull any dress that my mom and I would’ve liked to see me try. She was an absolute sweetheart and complimented me in all the dresses I tried on. Lenora was the closing manager, so she helped as well. You could definitely tell she had a lot of fun getting me “all jacked up”, complete with small bouquet and all. I did end up finding “the one”, and I cried my eyes out. My mom said that Keller also teared up, as well. You can absolutely tell that she truly loves what she does. Lenora went above and beyond, helping me find the perfect veil as well as a small hair comb barrette. I was the last appointment of the evening, so Keller and Lenora were able to let go and have fun with it, just as my mom and I did. Even as it neared closing time, Keller even helped my mom find her Mother of the Bride dress, and she is so happy with it. I could go on and on, but the short of it is that Keller and Lenora made my experience so much fun and so memorable. They are such sweethearts, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to find their special dress for their special day. Thank you so much, ladies!

I truly experienced a princess type of help when going to David’s bridal in Durham North Carolina. When I called that same day they were able to get me into be seen and getting their seamstresses to help me within that same day as well, which they said is rear to happen. They made me feel as thought it was my wedding day with all the attention. There were plenty of beautiful gowns to look at and pick from. Allison who was assigned to me was on the key and Karen the seamstress as well as a male seamen (sorry I didn’t get his name, but I tell you, he knew her thing too) was on the ball! I truly can’t say enough about all of staff working together to meet my needs. Thank you David Bridal of Durham North Carolina you guys are the best!

Ms. Liz exhibited “exceptional” customer service towards us and we were ‘walk-in’ customers… just browsing. We’re planning to schedule a personalized appointment with her in the near future. She knew body type and complimentary dress styles accordingly!

Honestly today was one of the worst times I’ve had during this whole wedding planning experience. The worker I was assigned for my appointment today name was Karen. She was very rude from the moment she saw me. Everything I said she rolled her eyes at. My appointment was to just do my final fitting and take home my wedding dress. She brought me in the dressing room with my wedding dress hanging out and I immediately notice that one of the things I asked to be done was not done. The wedding dress I bought was from David’s bridal and after purchasing I noticed that there was one bead on it that was a different color than the rest of the beads meeting it wasn’t supposed to be there. While the dress was being hemmed I asked them to fix the speed since the dress came with a bead pack. They were super nice about it and even put a safety pin through the bed so they would know where it’s at. But when I came in today the safety pin was now gone but the beer was still there which means somebody literally took out the safety pen knowing they were ignoring the request. Karen was rushing me the whole appointment. I brought my sister-in-law with me and she was constantly yelling through the curtain if we were ready yet. I felt so rushed. There was no reason for me to be rushed there was not a single other person there. She then made a big deal about the bead once I pointed it out to her. Started yelling to people in the back at the sewing machines about it. Very unprofessional. She then told me they would fix it right then and it would only be about five minutes. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes before this one bead. The whole experience was so ridiculous. As much as I love dress, I will never be coming back.

My bestfriend and I went in today to see what style dress she likes best for her wedding. We let our stylist know up front that we wouldn’t be purchasing only trying on. Knowing that she wouldn’t make commission today, our stylist Camryn treated us like any other customer! She was extremely helpful and made sure to go above and beyond to make my friend feel like a bride! Excited to say that we will most likely be back to get a dress from this location for my friend!

Today I had the pleasure of going to David’s Bridal and my consultant Portia was simply AMAZING. I was running late and she was so patient and understanding. She made me feel like an absolute princess. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to help me decide on the right dress. I’m extremely happy with my bridesmaids dress. I do recommend this David’s Bridal location and especially my consultant Portia!

Paula and the other alterations staff were incredibly quick, efficient, and thorough doing the alterations for my wedding dress. I was able to get the dress taken in and hemmed to a PERFECT length, and got a bustle that was super easy to do and undo while still preserving the silhouette of the dress! They even helped walk my mom through the bustle process so we could easily replicate it on the wedding day. It’s such a relief to have the dress fitting perfectly! Thank you Paula and everyone else there!

I arrived at 545pm, without an appointment, on a Wednesday. The nice ladies up front let me know that I could browse and do a fitting if one of the 6 oclock appointments cancelled. Bailey, another associate, listened to the description of what I wanted, made a few suggestions, and after a 6pm did cancel, helped me with my dress. She and the other associate, and seamstress were all so helpful and informed. I think my experience was greatly enhanced by coming at a low traffic time of day. The seamstress recommended a size down,, which Davids didnt have in a stock in ivory. I took a chance on getting the same dress in white, one size down, and plan to receive it in a week or so!

Dress is great but I really regret getting my dress altered here. I’m not happy with the results and don’t feel like they were very thorough. I’m going to have to do my own tweaking before the wedding unfortunately

Alias gave us many helpful suggestions and was quick to help! Super experience at this store, much better than other store in Raleigh. Even had alterations come out to discuss options on length…they even pinned it up to help her see the dream!

If I could give Keller and Lenora 10 stars I would! They made my bridal dress experience easy, fun and very special. They listen to what I wanted and asked really good questions that ultimately led me to decide on a dress that I truly loved! I really felt like I was shopping with a aunty and a friend. Lenora was incredibly accommodating. I don’t know how she managed to fix my fiasco with a last minute return from another store but she worked her magic. She redid my measurements. She is incredible.

The store didnt have many dresses in my size. No big deal. The sales associate told me I could buy the dress online with her, then try it on in the store and return it if I didnt like it. As such, I ended up purchasing a dress online to have shipped to the store, so I could try it on. The estimated shipping date was 3 weeks later. Ok. The dress ended up arriving 6 days later. I picked it up on the 7th day and went home with it, thinking I had 7 days to make my choice. The next day I decided it wasnt the dress for me, so I went back to the store for a return. It turns out, the 7 day refund policy means 7 days after purchasing the dress to be shipped, which is something the sales representative failed to let me know even though I told her I wasnt sure about the dress to begin with. It is clear to me now that the representatives here only care about their commission and not about being open and honest with their customers.Their limited selection of dresses + their shady business practices and dishonest employees made for a truly horrible shopping experience.

I came in reluctantly. I am not a girly girl and hate shopping. Portia and Lenora were amazing! They made the experience so easy and enjoyable and my family was able to have a front row seat to my dress trying and finding the perfect one all took less than 1.45!!! I didnt even have to leave the dressing room. Definitely would recommend this shop and this team of lovely ladies. Thank you!

She took the time to make sure that every detail for my dress fitting would not go unnoticed.I originally came in this morning to shop for a wedding dress. The rep was very nonchalant. It was no personable service. That experience almost made me not want to come back.I am so glad that i decided to come back. Portia made up for that experience plus more. David’s Bridal is lucky to have her on their team.

Super friendly, efficient and helpful! I walked-in without an appointment and was helped within minutes of arriving. Alexandra brought me all the dresses I needed and was honest about whether or not certain dresses would come in on time. She also made sure I would have time for alterations and was super sweet throughout the whole process. So easy and will be coming back for sure!

I had an amazing experience at Davids Bridal! Portia was very friendly and really listened to what I was looking for. She didnt pressure us into getting anything, but showed us different options and details that we could add to the dress (and we loved her recommendations!). What can I say…I had a wonderful experience at David’s Bridal and Cameryn was just amazing! She made me feel so special and like I should be there! At 50+ I never expected to be getting married again and, certainly not in a wedding dress. Never did this the first time. What a beautiful experience! I rang the bell and said YES to my dress!! Can’t wait for my next appointment!

I felt insecure the whole time, not a friendly environment, not willing to compromise and will always try and make you pay more money. The staff was rude all around, the whole time I was there through out about 5 times going there, I encountered 1 nice person on the last day when I signed my dress away. Everyone had a major attitude and just acted like they hated their jobs. It made me feel like I was not welcomed and the bridal/bridesmaid experience was not a fun one. I arrived 2 days early on accident and since it was only two days I figured my dress should be done. They said it was being steamed and when I stated that was okay Id rather take it now because I got scheduled to work on the day I needed to pick it up on, the manager came up to the front and said that they did not know where my dress was in the process. When she checked and I said I had lost weight she sent me back to try it on and the dress had the majority of the altering pins in it still. The person doing the alterations saw it and just kept putting pins in even though I said if I had to pay anything extra I dont want it. He insisted and when he kept moving pins from where the previous alteration would have and adding more and then said its going to be extra. I said I really dont want to pay extra and would rather wear a big dress. He moved the pins back to where they were and took the other pins out and threw a tantrum because I wouldnt pay the extra. I had to reschedule to pick up the dress a day later and did not even want to try it on in fear of having to deal with a tantrum or rude attitudes. The only reason I am giving two stars is because my alterations were done on time technically and decently done (not great by any means) and the very last person I spoke with to give my dress to me (most helpful and welcoming there). As a business, they should learn to be more welcoming and transparent in their processes instead of lying to people and disregarding wishes from people.

Very good experience today at my alterations appointment. Ms. Paula was excellent, very nice to work with, and noticed a couple things that I didn’t notice before which really made a difference with how the dress looked. All the ladies in that area were very nice and helpful.

Was shopping for a blue formal gown. Didnt find what I was looking for yet, but they had good selection, good prices, and good service. This is my second time here, and both times were great experiences, with reasonable prices.

Bailey is amazing! I had a diaster with another local dress shop. I came in so stressed and concerned with on 40 days until my wedding. Bailey helped me pick out some amazing pieces and really put my mind at ease. I found a dress that day and I couldn’t be happier! ❤️

I made an appointment for Saturday 6/19 on Tuesday 6/15. I gave the style numbers to the associate over the phone and confirmed that they were available to try on during my appointment. Another associate called the day before to confirm my appointment as well. I get there on Saturday and to my surprise only two of the dresses were available in sizes that were 4-6 sizes bigger than what I requested. I was told that the styles I wanted to try on (and color) would not be available until October. None of the stylists were ready for me and were busy helping other customers. This was my first time visiting David’s Bridal and it was the worst bridal experience of my life. Highly do NOT recommend. The level of professionalism is on the floor.

The Black TuxGabi was super nice. Process to schedule was quick and easy.However, I have zero confidence in the measurements being sufficient to get a proper fitting tux. Measuring my sternum and not shoulders is a recipe for failure in the coat. I came in because I know my measurements aren’t simple. Simple measurements were taken…

I was there for the first alteration fitting for my bridesmaid dress. Omar I believe helped me and was super professional and very very helpful and sweet. Made me feel so comfortable. All of the ladies and gentlemen in alterations department were very friendly .

They were great! So nice and caring. Everyone working there today ask if we needed anything, if we were comfortable, can we get you a chair. This was a great experience. My daughter picked out a dress and they fixed her right up with accessories. Id definitely recommend this place to anyone to prepare for their unforgettable special day.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at my appointment at the Southpoint location. My stylist Christie was absolutely phenomenal and made me feel like a princess. I was looking for my wedding dress and both her and her manager Lenora assisted me in picking out dresses and accessories that made me feel beautiful and confident. I could not recommend this store more to future brides seeking their dresses!

First and formost i was hesitant to come there in the first place based on reviews from friends and things I read on line, but I went out on a limb and gave it a chance. I arrived about 30 minutes prior to my 7:30 appointment time BC a few of my bridesmaid were with me so they wanted to browse. The guest whom appointment was before mine were still browsing and they person helping them was so pleasant and patient I thought maybe it wont be so bad after all. Boy was I wrong. When ot became time for my appointment. The older lately seemed to be either tired of just plain didnt want to assist in my dress making decision. About 15 minutes into it she stated, you need to pick something so we can get you in one of these dresses! I really saw nothing that actually wowed me ans then I finally found one dress not necessary that I like but the style I was going for ....... wasnt in my size. I found a second one it too wasnt in my size. I found 2 more......finally my size or at least thats what they said. One was the other 4x bigger than I needed. It was a lady that was there trying on dress when I got there that was still there when I started she was offered veils and accessories......not me. I will never go to that location again and its really put a nasty taste in my mouth about Davids Bridal as a whole. Now o understand what my friends were talking about......That 1 thing we all have in common....not that we do or dont have money but we are BLACK! Never again! Absolutely never!!!!!!

Another great experience! So this time I was helping my aunt for her wedding! I am a event planner and every bride Ive bought here has been very satisfied with service! Paula and her team are excellent in alterations and customer service! They go the extra mile to be sure you feel comfortable and look amazing! What they dont have they can get and make sure your dream dress comes to reality! All around great place to make your occasion remarkable! I will be back for my dress next❤

Great location (Durham, NC) !!Camryn and the entire staff were so incredibly welcoming and genuinely kind. Instead of feeling stressed and self-conscious, Camryn made me feel encouraged and supported throughout the entire consultation - I felt comfortable saying no and eventually, of course, I felt confident saying yes to my dream wedding dress. I had a great experience - I was able to show some of the dresses I had saved on my phone to one of the ladies who helped me and try those on first. Then the other lady who helped me brought out some other dresses that would also flatter my body type and fit my style. When I chose my dress, it was a magical feeling when I got to ring the bell and say yes to the dress. I also appreciated the additional styling (adding a veil and a tiara), and ended up getting the tiara! I dont remember the names of the two wonderful ladies who helped me, but they worked the evening of 4/8.

Staff was lovely and welcoming. Able to help me figure out what shape and fit I liked and what I hated (so so important!). Alexandra was an absolute gem! I dropped my wedding gown off for alterations. When I returned for pickup, I noticed pink stains dotting the top of my gown. When I made the alterations person aware of the stains she casually said the guy who steamed by gown forgot to take the tag off of it which resulted in the stains. She said he got most of the pink stains out. I told her this was not acceptable. There were no stains on my gown when I dropped it off. She took the gown to the back and blotched it with a solution in attempts of cleaning my gown. After it was obvious that this was not going to work, I asked to speak to the store manager. She basically apologized and said they got most of the stains off. I again told her this was not acceptable. She then stated the alterations manager would be in tomorrow and I would need to speak to her. My wedding is less than 2 weeks ago. I paid a rush fee to have these alterations completed sooner. Not to have my beautiful gown ruined. I am completely disgusted! This should not happen. And if by chance it does happen I should have been notified right away. But they seemed to be trying to sweep it under the rug, had I not mentioned it they weren’t going to mention it to me.Updated review:Paula - the alteration’s manager called me the very next day. She was extremely empathetic and assured me she would personally ensure my gown was spotless and ready for pickup with a few days.She delivered on her promise! While I’m still not pleased about my gown being stained originally, I do appreciate Paula’s sense of urgency and desire to fix it right away.

Amazing experience. Christie was lovely and helped dress me up and make me feel like a princess! I only have limited time until our wedding so every day counts. Chauntay went above and beyond to take me in for alterations on the spot - instead of via appointment at some later date as is the norm.

So happy I went to Davids Bridal to get my bridesmaid dress altered for my brothers wedding. The dress was from a different store, but they had no problem with performing the alterations and took the time to make sure it was how I wanted it. Cant wait to see how it turned out!

Omed was phenomenal and patient. He created a bustle for a vintage gown purchased over 25 years ago. I really appreciated his care as well as tenacity to make sure everything was measured perfectly. I am so excited to see the final result

Alterations earned 5 🌟 but the company only 3…so 4 🌟 is the rating I give. Alterations staff were helpful and were eager to make sure I was happy. The dress, however, was shipped with the wrong caplet and it took an act of Congress to get a partial discount…and they couldn’t/wouldn’t replace it with the correct caplet. I could’ve returned it for a full refund but I loved the dress so I’ll settle with the wrong caplet…it’s ok but lacks the jewels the correct one had. Thanks to the alterations staff in Durham store.

Third times a charm. This was definitely the case in getting my sisters wedding dress. At first we went twice to the David’s Bridal in Raleigh, toit wasn’t bad until we had the best which is at the David’s Bridal in Durham from Ms Kathy and Ms Paula. They got my sister to step out her comfort zone with style and both of us could not be more happier.

David’s Bridal is the most charming and beautiful dress shop I have ever been in. I went in looking for a prom dress and found the perfect dress for me in less than 10 minutes. The staff was extraordinarily kind and helpful, offering advice on how to get the dress suited perfectly to my tastes, and Paula, who did my dress alterations, made suggestions that went above and beyond my expectations. I would absolutely, highly recommend this dress shop to anyone looking to find a gown for a special occasion.

I was sized for a 14 dress. Waited a month. When it came in it was so small that I couldn’t zip it or bend at the knees in the slightest. I was remeasured and my hips and bust were literally different by a few inches. Their solution was to order a size 16 or 18 dress and have it altered to fit me. Paid almost $100 MORE to have this done. The dress ended up fitting, but because It had to be altered so much, It looked absolutely horrible on me. I will never recommend or go back there. The bride was not happy at all with her experience either.

OMG LIZ WAS SO AWESOME 🤩!!! She helped me with everything. Even with my children. She kept them very entertained!!!

My experience was ok, the associate who helped me Portia just didnt seem like she wanted to be there. I didn’t feel like she was really listening to me when we were alone. Now once the manager was there she was kind of more attentive and upbeat. At checkout she left us with the manager I dont know if it was time for her to leave, but she left no bye. My mom was offended and so was I, I dont feel like I was given the bride experience. Ms. Priscilla the alterations lady was amazing her energy and everything was amazing. I got to meet her at the end of my visit, I left feeling a little better about my dress I’m just not sure if I’m 100% sold on it, I still do have my doubts. Overall I gave it a three because of the manager just being so friendly and Ms. Priscilla listening to my dress adjustments. But I did not enjoy my experience yesterday, not at all.

Liz at the Southpoint David’s Bridal was great at helping me find my perfect wedding dress! She had great insight and style and was very upbeat and professional. I highly recommend!

I went in for alterations and was absolutely blown away! The staff was clearly very knowledgable but also unbelievably caring and lovely. Lindsay and Paula are OUTSTANDING: they made an appointment I was nervous about the highlight of my week. SO IMPRESSED!

Had a wonderful experience! I went in today to pick out my bridesmaids dresses and was thrilled with the selection. Alexandra was super sweet and helpful. Needless to say I picked out the dresses and picked up some goodies for my bridesmaids.

So I was in the store with my gf and actually ended up picking out a dress that made her mom cry. We were all excited and at the end the whole store cheered for her and congratulated her. (Very sweet) but this store is very sexist. As I went BACK with my love so she could pick up her dress I had my measurements done. When the woman was done she handed me a card with my metrics and walked away. DB just FYI some men think about their weddings since they were little too

In full transparency I was hesitant to go to David’s Bridal for my wedding dress and when I got there I wasn’t impressed with the first two employees I came in contact with.But I’m so glad I stayed and gave it a chance— this is all due to Amanda. She was the only employee that had such a great energy and didn’t seem lethargic; she knew what she was talking about, she was easy to talk too and overall made my experience such a joy. I left that day with the most amazing dress and my outlook on David’s Bridal has completely changed. Thank you Amanda!

I made an appointment to try on bridesmaid dresses on a Saturday morning. They were a bit busy but someone greeted me very shortly after stepping in. This was my first time going through this process but Kietta made it super easy and straightforward. I told her what kind of dress I needed and she showed me the correct sections to search. The dressing room was clean and plenty of hooks for all the dresses.Kietta was so kind, I was alone during my appointment, so she helped me with zipping and clasping all the dresses so I could get a real idea of what they would look like (thank you, I would not have been able to do that alone! !!!). She was always willing to run and grab another size or style right when I needed it, but I never felt any pressure or that she was trying to hurry me up, it was the perfect amount of attentiveness, which I totally appreciated!I will say, making an appointment in the morning if you have to go on a weekend is the way to go. As I was leaving it was definitely WAY busier.Overall, this experience was far more pleasant and easy than I anticipated going in. If I ever needed another bridesmaid dress I would definitely go back to this location again.

The time spent at Davids Bridai was fantastic! I was treated with patience and respect. I was able to take my time and not rushed. I had one person serving me until I left..My sister and I were pleased. I loved the wide range of prices to accommodate any budget... I recommend Davids Bridal highly to help make the brides special day a success!

I’m getting married next month in August, I came in hoping to find a dress off the rack and hopefully I’ll trade as soon as possible. I found my dress with the help of Alexus, alterations were done on the same day by Omin and I checked out with Deasha! I was informed that they were having a rocky morning but I couldn’t tell they did such an amazing job taking care of me!
