In 2019 and in 2020, I used labor panes and they performed both gutter cleaning and power washing as requested at a fair price. In 2021, I asked for the same gutter cleaning service. The first quote from labor panes was nearly 3x the price from 2019 and 2020. I explained this was too high and they countered with a lower quote (still nearly 2x increase). Same exact service. I told them I would get other bids b/c the price still seemed too high. I was able to get two different bids from other companies at prices much closer to the 2019 and 2020 levels. I understand there is labor inflation, but not at the price increases Labor Panes was quoting in 2021. Despite informing them that I was looking for other options in writing, they still scheduled the work without authorization at the price which is too high. I had to demand that they cancel the unauthorized work. I can no longer trust this company. Price is too high and questionable business practices - scheduling unauthorized work via email. I will inform Better Business Bureau as well.

I used Labor Panes for several years. Usually they do a good job, although one time they found some roots plugging up one of the drainage pipes. They said their company cant clear them and to call another gutter cleaning company. The other companies would only do it if I paid for a gutter cleaning with them, so it made no sense for me to have paid for Labor Panes. Despite this, I continued using them for another year.Starting in 2021, they stopped answering their phones. I tried calling to schedule service 4 different times, went to voicemail despite calling during their business hours. Every time I left a message with my name and number, but they never called back once. Theres no way to schedule online. They still sent me an email asking me to call them to schedule my next appointment. Its not worth the hassle; Ill find another company.

Awful company! DO NOT USE THEM! Putting on gutter guards caused more problems than it’s worth. We moved to our house 3-4 months ago, never had problems with squirrels coming into our attic but the day or so after they installed them about a month ago, we noticed some insulation on the ground but thought maybe it was part of the process of installing the gutter guards. Now for the two weeks we had squirrels coming in and out of the attic and per TWO SEPARATE pest control companies it was DUE TO THE GUTTER GUARDS! When Jeremy who installed the gutter guards was contacted, he said usually he lets homeowners aware of any potential problem holes near the gutter guards but apparently suffered from short term memory loss and forgot to tell is about it, putting out attic in further danger. We ended up having to have pest control guys trap the squirrel as well as reinforce the holes that squirrels preciously would and could not have entered had it not been for the gutter guards. To make matters worse, even though they put on pretense that they’re customer friendly, manager Steve Perry was definitely not. Please do not use this company or waste your money on their gutter guards!Update 10-31-20: user another gutter cleaning company in the Durham area and come to find out, the gutter guards installed by these jokers were not installed properly and there are apparently gaps. Additionally one corner of gutters were not even cleaned out when labor panes installed the gutter guards (tons of dirt that would have accumulated proper to installing the gutter guards were found). It is mind boggling to see 5 star ratings for this company. Do not waste your money, there are plenty of better options in this area!

Labor Panes has done amazing work at our house. I asked for a quote from another company and the priced me at yes, 5x the estimate Labor Panes gave me. They are quick, thorough, efficient, respectful, and fair. Our windows were gleaming and our power washed deck looked like it was brand new.

We had a pretty good experience with them having our house and gutters cleaned. There was some issues with scheduling that took a bit to sort out, but they were usually pretty open about when someone was coming. Quality of the work was overall pretty good.

They were very friendly. Listened to what our needs were. Thoroughly cleaned the house, eaves and back deck. When it grew dark before they finished the front and large outdoor deck, they tried to finish in the dark but told us to contact them if it needed more because visibility was hard in the dark. Afterward we needed more -- lots of moss and gunk had accumulated on the deck that made it slippery and dangerous to walk on. They send a second crew out a few days later and did another thorough deck washing. The washer took care to end before fraying the wood.

I always worry about ladders being leaned against my new gutters but Labor Panes has cleaned my gutters twice now and they never lean the ladders against the gutters; they use stand-offs/stabilizing bars. In addition, they remind me of appointment, phone right before arriving, show up exactly on time, do the work discussed and clean up after themselves very well. It’s almost as if no one was ever here except now my gutters are clean:). Best gutter cleaners ever! Totally professional. Highly recommend them.

Labor Panes did a great job power washing my two-story home and communicating throughout the whole process. Lisa was responsive and came across friendly in emails. The team was early to provide service and called when they were on the way. I had skipped a year or two of cleaning and my house looked like it had a fresh paint job when they were done. This business is customer oriented and maintains communication from placing the work request to completion. Emails were sent out confirming the date of work and time range. A call was received indicating that they were running behind and would that be a problem. As it turned out, they were not late at all. The work was unobtrusive and done quickly. We had them pressure wash our 2 story house. Troy was the one who cleaned our house, and even went above/beyond to go over one spot a second time. He asked us to inspect the house when he was done, we work from home, and didnt get to look at it until he had already left. He still came back to clean one spot that was easy to miss from the angle of our roof from the ground. He cleaned our driveway and extended out to the sidewalk across the front of our house at no extra charge (he did that before we asked for the spot we pointed out). They will do the job right if you put in the time to look at your own house when they are done. Very courteous, and listen to any concerns you have. House looks great!

It was very easy to schedule this company to come out and give me a quote for gutter cleaning, house and deck washing, and window washing. I scheduled it online and they have also followed up over the phone and by email. They offer discounts for regularly scheduled services and offer online payment which is always a plus for me. The technician texted on his way to the home and was quick to follow up. Overall great customer service and I will have to update once they complete the service.

We hired Labor Panes to clean the exterior windows of our home, clean the gutters, and power wash the driveway and front porch. They were easy to schedule and were affordable compared to other companies. They seemed to do a great job cleaning the gutters and power washing. The windows look cleaner but do have some pretty large streaks on some of the windows. I would definitely hire them again for power washing and gutter cleaning but may look for someone else for window cleaning.UPDATE: After seeing this review, Daniel from Labor Panes reached out to me to ask if he could come take a look at the streaked windows to re-clean them. He was extremely responsive and came to take a look at them as soon as I got back to him. One of the windows (unbeknownst to me) actually had paint on it from getting our house painted rather than streaks. Daniel took time to not only clean the marked windows but also try his best to remove the paint, which is no easy task. I would definitely recommend Labor Panes and will use them again for window cleaning. If youre not happy, they work hard to make it right.

High-quality work and COVID precautions

The guys that cleaned our gutters were excellent. They were prompt and efficient and went the extra mile to make sure that debris (leaves and pine needles) on the roof was removed as well. They cleaned up the area around the house so that would never know that they were there. I will definitely use these folks again!

We moved here 3 years ago, and have used Labor Panes each year to clean our many and large windows (we have high cathedral ceilings). This year we decided to also have the house power washed. What a great decision! The house looks amazing between the house being washed and the windows sparkling. Jeremy has been the team leader two years in a row, and he is wonderful. What a great asset to their company.

We have a tall two-story house, and Im fine to do the lower gutters, but the high ones are a bit out of my comfort zone. Cue a call to Labor Panes. Were trying to sell our house, so it was a relief that they were able to get us in without much of a wait. I was really pleased with the speed and quantity of communication not to mention they were very upfront with costs and unknowns that could add to the cost.The work was started and completed with efficiency and without any issues. We have used Labor Pains several times over the past few years to have our windows and gutters cleaned and to have our home power washed. All of their employees have been outstanding. Labor Panes does great work and they seem to be customer service oriented. Yet, when it comes to respecting and treating their employees fairly I have not seen that put into action. Its unfortunate when employees would like advancement and they voice their opinions about extra trainings or mentorship its seen as a threat to the managers. There seems to be a lot of favoritism within Labor Panes which is not healthy. Its not just about your customers, but also about how you treat employees. Try to work harder on recognizing others perspectives and how they may actually benefit the company. I have never been an employee but I have had employees tell me their concerns and frustrations.In response to the owners comments...I never mentioned any names in my review there is no need to call out names especially since this review was not just regarding my fiancé. There were concerns from others and for obvious reasons not shared to you.

The gentlemen who showed up were very professional and quick. The house and windows look great. They covered my Japanese maple and took great care not to damage my peach tree. They even hand-wiped the railings on my screen porch in order to minimize water into it. After they left, I noticed a spot on the porch rails that they missed, but its minor and hard to see from the ground. Overall, I was very happy with the service.

Your search is over! The Go-To Crew guys were amazing! From our first meeting to the job execution; there were professional, timely and cleaned everything after themselves before they left. Not only did they clean our gutters, they also cleaned our solar panels -which were in bad shape for a while. We will be using them again and we think you should too. Dont think twice about hiring them, just go for it.

My gutters look fantastic!! I would have given them a perfect rating but the young man that was supposed to do the job kept calling trying to get me to change my appointment time. We were specifically scheduled for 4-6pm and he started calling me at 9:55am asking me if they could come now. I had to keep reminding him that I was at work and there was specific reason why we chose that time frame (we have 3 dogs). After the 3rd call, I finally called him back around 3:15pm and told him that they could head over to the house and my husband would meet him there. Overall, they did a wonderful job and not only would I use them again, but I would recommend them to others

This is a follow up to an earlier review (which was not very good) after calling and talking to Daniel and telling him that I wanted to be home when the gutters were being cleaned and they were done without my being there (since I could not tell what had been done). Daniel was very understanding and asked the employee to return to my house and go over what had been done and to flush all the downspouts with me there so I could be confident that the gutters were totally clean and water flowing through them. His employee came first thing the next morning and we walked through all 5 downspouts as she flushed water through them so we could see they were cleaned out and flowing properly, She was very polite and even apologetic that she hadnt done this the first time. I was very happy with their response to my request and would gladly do business with them in the future.

The estimator was very professional and easy to work with, and the washing crew was very friendly and communicative. I do wish they would have moved some heavy items back to their original spots, and that we would have had some warning about the concentration of bleach used for washing. We knew that water could enter our home, but did not realize that our rugs might be ruined. Despite the rugs, we are happy with the washing and price.
